Poulaphouca exceeded my dreams. A truly magical place I will hold close to my heart forever. The team couldn’t do enough for us. Jen and Evonne are a super talented pair. Everything was so seamless. Food was out of this world. We still have guests telling us it was the best venue and food they’ve ever seen. So professional I can’t recommend this place enough.

We got married in Poulaphouca House and Falls on the 3rd of November and we had the most perfect day!
Evanne, Jen, Tom and all of the staff looked after us all so well on the day and made sure the day ran smoothly. The 3 Cooks prepared delicious food for us and everyone is still commenting on how amazing everything was!
Evanne looked after us in the run up to the wedding and on the wedding day, answering any queries we had and ensuring our day went off without a hitch.
Jen looked after us all on the morning of the wedding and she was just phenomenal! She was so kind and put us all at ease throughout the morning - nothing was too much.
The venue itself was beautiful and is the perfect setting if you are looking for something a bit different.
We would definitely recommend Poulaphouca if you are looking for somewhere special to celebrate your wedding!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience getting married at Poulaphouca House and Falls. The team were extremely responsive on the lead up to the event, trying their best to help us bring our vision to life. I am also very appreciative of the support we received on the day as well. The event managers went above and beyond to ensure everything ran without a hitch, the food was really amazing and the service from the waiters and bar staff was absolutely fantastic. The venue itself is gorgeous and our guests loved how many different rooms were used through the day- really adding to the experience. Thank you to everyone who made our day special and we'd definitely recommend the venue to other people!

Beautiful venue with a rustic and romantic feel. The view from the Barn for dinner is the best I've ever seen at a venue and the staff, food and service was brilliant from start to finish. Everyone had an amazing time and I wouldn't of changed everything about the day. Huge thank you to Evanne and Julie, the talented chefs and all of the staff!

Every single staff member went above and beyond on the day. Everything ran so smoothly and the food and service was exceptional. There was a fun atmosphere created by all and each unique section of the venue was breathtaking from the marquee to the barn to the music room. It was all brilliant!

Our wedding at Poulaphouca completely exceeded all our expectations! The staff couldn't have done enough for us and our guests to make us feel welcome. The venue is absolutely stunning and its proximity to Dublin was so handy. Between the mouth-watering meal and the view from the dining room, I think the dinner definitely stole the show. We feel very lucky that we got to celebrate our wedding at the gorgeous Poulaphouca House, it was fairytale from start to finish.

We are so glad we had our wedding at Poulaphouca! Our favourite parts about the venue were that there are multiple spaces which really kept the day varied. We particularly loved that we didn't have to wait for the dance floor to be set up as tables were being removed, and we could go straight from dinner to dancing without any waiting around. Another highlight for us was the food, it's AMAZING. We have had so many people talk to us about the food after the wedding, they're all raving about it. The experience on the day went so seamlessly we couldn't fault it one bit, it was truly a dream wedding so thank you to Evanne for being our go to person in the run up to the day and Jen for running the day with such enthusiasm and professionalism. Our guests have all commented to us what a stunning wedding venue it was and we couldn't agree more - we would highly recommend this venue to anybody getting married!

Poulaphouca was without a doubt the best venue we could have picked for the best day of our lifes. I work in the hospitality industry and been lucky enough to attend functions in some of the best hotels in Ireland and Poulaphouca just blew me away. We got married on one of the hottest days of the year in one of their first outdoor ceremonies. When friends posted the wedding on intragram, people thought the wedding was abroad and not nestled away in Co Wicklow! The food was unbelievable with friends and family still talking about it.
The outdoor ceremony followed by the drinks reception was flawless. The setup was so beautiful. The thirsty guests were all attended too in great time. The team accomodated our speeches in the outdoor area before dinner. Nobody wanted to go for dinner as they were all having too much fun but they had no idea how beautiful the barn was as they had not seen it previously. Our guests were speechless when they entered it. The food was out of this world! Moving the guests to the stylish music room after the meal, through the arch decorated with fairylights gave everyone the blast of fresh air to revive them all for dancing.
Thank you to the team at Poulaphouca, we would do it all over again in a flash but not change a thing

We had our wedding at Poulaphouca on the 12th of May and when I say it was absolutely Perfect I mean it was AMAZING. Evanne was great to deal with from day 1 and then Jennifer was just so on the ball , nothing was too much. The staff were so friendly and helpful to all on the day.
The food was outstanding, our guests are still talking about it. I loved that Danny & Mark were involved throughout the day, I really thought that was great to see and such hands on owners.
The decor in the venue was laid out the exact way we had asked for and nothing was left out. As the bride and Groom we were looked after exceptionally well and all family etc too.
I just cannot recommend the venue enough. I can see in the time we had booked the venue to our wedding day it has just been improvement after improvement which every little element just makes it even better.
Thank you all so much for making our day amazing it was magical.

What had our day on 15 April this year and it was better than we could of anticipated. From the day we went to view the venue the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was unreal our guests are still talking about it. Evanne and the team went above and beyond and the setting from the dinner to the reception and location. Would highly recommend.

Kyle and I couldn't of been happier with our wedding at Poulaphouca House & Falls. Planning a wedding when living abroad wasn't easy but Evanne was super to deal with and supported us every step of the way. The running of the day was really smooth and movement between various spaces from the reception to dinner in barn and then dancing in the music room ensured guests were kept entertained. The food was absolutely outstanding - I need one of my friends to get married there so I can have the braised beef again! All our guest raved about the food from the canapes to the main meal, it was 5 star dining. Thanks to all the staff and management at Poulaphouca for giving us our dream day!

After a long search for a venue we stumbled upon Poulaphouca shortly after its opening. It was the perfect venue for us. The setting is beautiful and the food is top quality - from delicious canapés, to some of the best evening food I've had, even the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. All of the various areas that are used on the day of the wedding are perfect. The rooms are also decorated to a really high standard. Our guests are still raving about the food many months on.
If you?re looking for a wedding venue away from the city but an easy journey from Dublin for your guests it is a great choice.

We recently got married at Poulaphouca house and the day exceeded all of our expectations. The staff, the venue and the food were all excellent and many guests commented on how amazing the place was. We had a wonderful wedding day in Poulaphouca House. We fell in love with the venue the first time that we visited. It was great to have exclusive use of all the areas. Our day had a nice flow to it as we made full use of all spaces. We had our ceremony in the barn. The staff set it up beautifully. The fantastic scenery and light coming into the barn made for a beautiful backdrop in our photos.
We also had our dinner in the barn. The food throughout the day was of a very high standard. A lot of our guests commented on how lovely the food was. Some even said it was the nicest meal they had ever been served at a wedding. All our guests dietary requirements were catered for. The staff were all friendly and efficient.
Evanne was helpful and accommodated all of our requests and ideas when planning our day. Early on, she provided us with a list of local vendors such as photographer/celebrant/bus company which this was really appreciated. On the day she made sure everything went to plan.
Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and would highly recommend Poulaphouca House to other couples.

Evanne, Mark and every member of the team at Poulaphuca were enormously helpful and kind on our wedding day - they looked after every little detail and more, going above and beyond to make sure our reception went perfectly. Evanne even delivered canapés up to the bedroom and printed out speeches for us - honestly, she could not have been kinder, more helpful, thoughtful or supportive on the day - she was fantastic. The food was exquisite - every dish was just sublime - everyone was commenting on the deliciousness of dinner! Hats off to the chefs - we can't wait to come back and sample more of their amazing cooking. All our guests also commented on how lovely and friendly every member of staff was - good-humoured and smiling and helpful all day and late into the night - it was really noticed and appreciated. We had a few communication issues during the initial stages of planning our wedding but these were resolved very well and I cannot praise Evanne, Mark and all the team at Poulaphuca highly enough for everything they did, they were just brilliant. We had a wonderful day and night at Poulaphuca - my only regret is not having a go on the trampoline - but we?ll go back again soon! Thank you all so, so much!

I had the most amazing day of my life here in Poulaphouca. We got married on Dec 3rd with 34 guests. I woke up the next day and wished I could do it all over again! We had our ceremony in the barn which was such a lovely space. Then had the drinks reception back up in the house in the bar, which is full of character. We then moved into the dining room to have dinner. Then back out to the bar for music and dancing. The vibe was just so relaxed, and Evanne the wedding coordinator was always on hand to answer any questions and to make sure the day ran smoothly. The staff in Poulaphouca were lovely. I had a vegetarian guest and when the late night food came out the waitress looked for my vegetarian to make sure she got a beetroot burger. Which I thought was great. They made sure everyone was being looked after. Also the food, wow All the compliments to the chefs the 3 cooks. Amazing so tasty. When we went for our complimentary lunch before the wedding we knew we had made the right choice the food was just chefs kiss! I will never forget my day and night in Poulaphouca. It is such a lovely venue with lots of character lovely views for photos and the staff were great too. Thumbs up for Poulaphouca.

We had a wonderful wedding day at Poulaphouca House in November 2021. Unfortunately our original date in October had to be rescheduled at 2 days notice as the groom tested positive for Covid. We were met with such kindness and understanding by all at Poulaphouca particularly Evanne who had a new date for us in record time.
When looking for a wedding venue we wanted somewhere that had a nice setting with a feeling of space. Poulaphouca is a deceptively spacious venue with all the charm West Wicklow has to offer. The newly refurbished Barn really delivered with its beautiful views, high ceilings and its rustic feeling. We used this space for both our ceremony and dinner. Poulaphouca lends itself to the use of various spaces and Evanne is very helpful with her suggestions on how you could use them. We were very fortunate to use most of the spaces and the long bar was a big hit for our drinks reception.
We consistently received positive feedback from all our guests about the food. It is exceptional. Everything from the canapes at the drinks reception, the main meal and the late night snacks were of a really high standard. You can tell the 3cooks are extremely talented and work hard to deliver excellent food.
The staff were super friendly and made us feel so special throughout the day. As we did our own center pieces Iain was so accommodating meeting us the day before and paid remarkable attention to detail in setting up our tables for the dinner. Getting married i didn't realise the importance and the demands of navigating the day. Evanne handled this effortlessly throughout the day ensuring it went smoothly even carrying my dress at one stage, getting safety pin for bridesmaid and getting my children to handout party bags - great idea and they were delighted!!

Poulaphouca was recommended to us by our wedding planner when our wedding in Spain was put into question during covid. Without hesitation we booked without visiting (due to covid) having seen the beautiful photos, we were so happy and we were even more blown away when we eventually got to visit the house and barn, the bedrooms are beautifully designed and the d?cor and the views from the barn are breath-taking.
From the outset the communication with Evanne was fantastic, really putting us at ease, having to plan a second wedding. The service during our tasting and on the day was second to none, absolutely everyone commented on the coordination and the attentiveness of the staff, their professional but extremely friendly approach made the day exactly what we wanted. A special shout-out to the staff who made sure we got to taste all the canapés and always had a drink in hand!
We knew from recommendation that the food would be outstanding, but from our tasting we were absolutely blown away with the quality, presentation, and taste, and this was the exact reaction our guests had on the day. The food at our wedding was an extremely important element for us, absolutely everything delivered by the team was outstanding and exceeded our expectations, the feather blade beef was the talk of the night, and we still have guests commenting on the breakfast.
We would highly recommend Poulaphouca to anyone for any wedding or event, we are already thinking about when we can go back! All of our guests were fantastic and we have already heard of our guests recommending to friends, and one friend of a friend having booked, we are jealous of anyone getting to go back for a wedding!

From the outset the communication with Evanne was fantastic, really putting us at ease, having to plan a second wedding. The service during our tasting and on the day was second to none, absolutely everyone commented on the coordination and the attentiveness of the staff, their professional but extremely friendly approach made the day exactly what we wanted. A special shout-out to the staff who made sure we got to taste all the canapés and always had a drink in hand!
We knew from recommendation that the food would be outstanding, but from our tasting we were absolutely blown away with the quality, presentation, and taste, and this was the exact reaction our guests had on the day. The food at our wedding was an extremely important element for us, absolutely everything delivered by the team was outstanding and exceeded our expectations, the feather blade beef was the talk of the night, and we still have guests commenting on the breakfast.
We would highly recommend Poulaphouca to anyone for any wedding or event, we are already thinking about when we can go back! All of our guests were fantastic and we have already heard of our guests recommending to friends, and one friend of a friend having booked, we are jealous of anyone getting to go back for a wedding!
We couldn't have wished for a better day; the outstanding team went above and beyond.

From the minute we saw poulaphuca House and Falls, we knew this was were we wanted to get married. From the beginning the communication was great and the atmosphere they have created on site is second to none. When we saw the barn it literally took our breath away. The view is incredible and the space is so beautifully decorated on the inside. From reception up by the bar to dancing, our guests were well looked after all night and had the time of their lives! Everyone said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and the wine was delicious. All the staff are incredibly kind and warm and kept everyone's glasses topped up throughout the dinner. All dietary requirements were also taken care of. We also had our day two at the venue and we were so happy we did. The food the next day was outstanding and the bar is a lovely setting as it spills out to an outdoor space. The accommodation on site was so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Overall the staff could not do enough for us and with covid restrictions in place, we felt they really went above and beyond. People have said that it was one of the best weddings they have attended. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this venue. The opposite to your typical hotel wedding! Thank you Poulaphuca house and Falls.

Poulaphouca was our choice from the moment we had dinner there in feb 2020.
We loved the feel of the place,the food service,atmosphere and we were so happy to book it as our wedding venue.From day one Evanne was so helpful professional and totally put us at ease as we hit many COVID hurdles.
We were constantly communicated with,always had answers quickly which I think is so important so thankfully it was not stressful to plan.poulaphouca liaised with all the suppliers so The Barn was absolutely stunning and looked perfect when we arrived for our meal.Our drinks reception was just outside the main house ,canapés were served which were presented so well and were delicious.Our meal and set up in the barn was stunning with many commenting on the room and views as it is unlike any other venue and ideal for photos.We moved up to the bar after the meal for music and it was the perfect finish to a perfect day.We all stayed in the house,rooms are fab,spacious and great for pictures also.All guests were impressed and especially with the breakfast the next morning.

We were absolutely delighted with the experience we had with Poulaphouca House and Falls, from the time we booked the venue last August through to the weekend we got married (31/7/21).
The spaces in the venue were incredible, and this is what initially drew us in. There were so many spaces to choose from, and we had the ceremony outside under the canopy, dinner in the renovated barn and the reception that followed in the house! There were also beautiful places to choose from for photos, and we got family photos in the gorgeous gardens and then photos of the two of us at the waterfalls.
Though the venue is amazing in itself, it is the people working at Poulaphouca House and Falls that make it shine. We had so many comments from our guests on how friendly and professional everyone was, and it was also clear they were really knowledgeable about the food and wine. Even with all the uncertainty in relation to weddings over the last year, we always felt confident in our choice of venue as Evanne was always there to answer any questions we had. She, along with Iain, Dan and all of the others at Poulaphouca House, made sure everything ran very smoothly on the day. We had a few last-minute requests and changes and everything was met with a smile ? we really felt that we were among friends. The atmosphere that everyone at Poulaphouca House created was really special, and added a bit of magic to our day!
The food was out of this world. Everything - from the granola parfaits and cooked breakfasts, to the melt-in-your-mouth featherblade beef and delicious sticky toffee pudding ? was exceptional. All of the food was so fresh and beautifully put together, and the menus we could choose from were creative and unique. We loved every single meal we had over the weekend.
We had very high expectations of the food, service and accommodation for our wedding and these expectations were exceeded on every occasion ? we could not recommend Poulaphouca House and Falls enough as a wedding venue! We have the fondest of memories of our wedding weekend and we already look forward to going back to Poulaphouca House for dinner in the coming months!

We could never have found a nicer place then poulaphuca. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was out of this world. Our guests are still taking about it. The staff were so accommodating not only to myself and Aidan but to all of our guest's. They really made us and our guest's feel so welcome. I can not praise this venue enough it is incredible. All at poulaphuca really made our day so special.

We booked our wedding in Poulaphouca House 10 weeks before our wedding day. The house had so much to offer with so many different spaces to use on the day. We rented the house out the night before the wedding which included a private dinner. The service was outstanding. Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing and attentive the staff were. We were treated like royalty.
Our wedding ceremony was held in Russborough house, only 5minutes away from Poulaphouca House. It is a breathtaking ceremony venue.
We had our reception drinks with live music outdoors in the garden area of Poulaphouca House. The pavilion was decorated beautifully for dinner. Everyone loved it as it was completely different to your standard hotel wedding but still provided the quality service. The food was up there with some of the best we have tasted in Ireland.
We used the ballroom for drinks and music after dinner. The fairy lights created a gorgeous atmosphere for the evening. Evanne the wedding co ordinator was beyond helpful and attentive throughout. Our guests even commented on her fantastic organisational skills.

We changed our venue to Poulaphouca at very short notice due to a Covid related cancellation at our original venue. From our first experience Evanne and all the team were really welcoming and helpful. They were really flexible and responsive to any queries and no request was a problem. On the day service and food was excellent. Its a lovely relaxed setting, with a great variety of indoor and outdoor spaces and we were delighted how it all turned out. Would certainly recommend

Poulaphuca House & Falls did my micro wedding & they did a fantastic job. Evanne, who is the Wedding Manager, went above & beyond my expectations & really made our wedding everything I wantwd. The staff were amazing, they bent over backwards to make sure every single one of our guests were catered to. I would highly recommend Poulaphuca House & Falls. Everything was perfect! Lovely location, the staff were very attentive went the extra mile for us on the day.

Thanks to everyone at Poulaphouca House and Falls. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and they had the venue looking great and very welcoming to us and all of our guests. We ended up changing our venue to Poulaphouca House and Falls with a few weeks notice given to them and a big credit is due to them for catering to us. A big part of our reason for changing to Poulaphouca was that they could have all the functions outdoors and with Covid-19 going on at the moment that was a big plus factor for us and our guests. We had just under the 50 guests attending and only got excellent reviews back from them in relation to the food and the great time had by all. We would highly recommend Poulaphouca House and Falls to anyone considering them. A special thanks to Evanne, Daniel and Gillian.

Our wedding at Poulaphouca House and Falls was everything we dreamed of. The help and guidance we were given from the organising team was excellent, all their suggestions worked out perfectly. We had the most amazing meal in the garden, covered in a beautiful stretch tent. The food was first class, the band were superb, service excellent and the organisation of a coach to bring our guests home was perfect to keep the party going late into the night without any worry. We stayed the night in the luxurious House and a gorgeous breakfast in the morning.
Hayley and I really had our dream wedding, it ran absolutely seamlessly. A huge thank you to all the members of the Poulaphouca Team, their hard work, enthusiasm and diligence it was astounding.

My daughters wedding was a truly fabulous success in an amazing romantic tent nestled in the garden with the sun streaming in. From a drinks reception to begin with the canopes were incredible including pretty afternoon tea cake stands loaded with delicate treats. The staff were friendly helpful and encouraging. The dinner was served in the stretch tent to a back drop of fliowers and blossom trees lending a fairy tale quality to the ambience. Dinner was totally fabulous. Service smooth and all the guests had a great time. The band were full of fun and the DJ later kept us all dancing happily to the early hours. Rustic pizza was enjoyed by everyone later in the evening. We all stayed over and woke to a prettily decorated breakfast room where the wedding flowed had been set up to keep the ambience going. The breakfast was first class and we all enjoyed the apres wedding chats.
Our experience with having a wedding in Poulaphouca house was an immense success. Well done to daniel Clair and all the team.

Jenn was absolutely incredible. Her energy, efficiency, and attention to detail were second to none, and she made the entire planning process and the big day itself run seamlessly. Huge thanks also to Evanne and Ursula for their support in the lead-up. They were always so helpful and reassuring.
Mark deserves a special mention for keeping everything flowing so smoothly on the day and for helping to calm the groom’s nerves right before his speech.
Our guests are still talking about the food. So many have told us it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. Massive thanks to the amazing chefs, kitchen staff, and the whole service team for delivering such a memorable meal.
The bar and late-night staff were also fantastic. Helpful, friendly, and full of good vibes.
