We honestly couldn’t recommend Sneem Hotel highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional, and we are so grateful we chose this venue for our special day.

Planning a wedding from Australia could have easily been stressful, but Louise (Deputy General Manager) and the entire team made it all feel effortless. From the moment my parents visited the hotel on our behalf, Louise went above and beyond—sending us photos and videos, answering every question, and guiding us through each step with warmth and professionalism. We felt completely at ease throughout the whole process.

The food was truly outstanding—our guests are still raving about the beef weeks later! The coordination and attention to detail on the day were out of this world. Louise’s experience and calm, reassuring approach made all the difference, especially when we had to pivot last-minute and move our ceremony indoors due to rain. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Every single member of the Sneem team we encountered was incredible. Their kindness and dedication didn’t go unnoticed and made the whole weekend feel even more special.

The Boathouse was an amazing bonus—being able to stay there the night before the wedding and have that peaceful, private space to get ready with my family meant so much. The bridal suite was stunning, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the weekend made it truly unforgettable.

Eoin and I cannot express our gratitude and thanks to Louise and all the staff at Sneem hotel! From the moment we contacted them to even look into getting married there we were immediately taken under Louise’s wing and treated like apart of the Sneem hotel family!
We were stressed organising our wedding from the other side of the world but the gang in Sneem were always quick to respond to emails with a personal touch and even gave us a WhatsApp tour to go through the day!

When we landed the day before the wedding we had what felt like a million things to organise but everyone helped us unpack and their calmness and professionalism let us know everything was going to go perfectly!

The entire weekend was amazing from start to finish and I have to say Sneem Hotel got our vibe and knew exactly what we wanted and were fantastic!

We had the most amazing day in Sneem hotel in September. From the moment we met Louise, the wedding coordinator, to start planning our day, we knew we had made the right decision. She was extremely helpful in the run up to the wedding. When we arrived the day before we were immediately treated like royalty. The staff were fantastic. The hotel organised music in the bar for the night before which was a lovely way to start the celebrations. My sisters and I stayed in the boathouse the night before and it was so beautiful waking up to the fabulous vista, it put me at ease and gave a sense of calm to what can be a hectic morning. I cannot put into words how amazing the staff were on the day of our wedding. There is not one thing I would fault. The function room was decorated nicely. Our bedroom on the night was lovely and there were some extremely special touches that were appreciated and will be cherished. I know it is cliche but it was the best day of our lives. All our guests raved about the food at the reception but also the breakfast and the hotel in general. Most guests stayed for 2 nights as we had our Day 2 in the village. Neither of us are from Sneem but we found an absolute gem in booking our wedding in Sneem hotel. I cannot recommend Sneem hotel highly enough. You will not be disappointed! It is now an extremely special place to us both. Thank you Sneem!

Our wedding in Sneem exceeded our expectations. Having worked in the service industry for years, I was super particular about the type of wedding I wanted. The food and service here were incredible. The views and location are the bonus. I dont want to spoil anything for other couples but there are some personal touches and surprises that I have never seen in another venue that shocked me and made me feel so so special. Louise, Barbara and the team are incredible and extremely hands on. and it is great value. The food and beverage quality is 5*. Initially the venue didn't meet my idea of what I wanted for our 'big day' (only because of the heavily advertised venues promoting themselves a certain way) but honestly I am so so glad we booked it. The consistency of the same faces year on year (this cannot be said about many hotels today) and the service alone are reasons to book. If you are looking at Sneem as a possible venue - just book it. We had the most amazing wedding weekend in Sneem. Louise and the team couldn't have been more helpful. Every little detail was taken care of and nothing was a problem. We were even able to get some practice steps in on the dance floor a few days beforehand! Louise herself was on her hands and knees scrubbing my dress after our photo session in Derrynane! The food was sensational- everyone commented on it. Our honeymoon suite was decorated beautifully when we got back to the room after the best day of our lives. I'll always remember it! We had our big day at Sneem hotel on New Year's Eve and it was absolutely amazing. Our wedding coordinator Louise was a dream to work with from the moment we booked our wedding date. We planned our big day from Toronto and she made it so easy for us. From the creative ideas to the constant support throughout , all the staff at Sneem made our wedding planning so seamless and easy. Even with the constant changing of guest numbers due to covid , Louise and the team kept us stress free and enjoying the build up throughout. We had the boat house booked out for the bridal party and Louise and team even managed to set up a Christmas tree down there for photos and several touches all around the hotel. We also had our day two in the hotel and Louise set up the restaurant with our flowers and decor from the reception room and made us a lovely personalized menu without us even asking. They also had the bridal suite made up so beautifully , had slippers under the table for me at dinner and a beautiful memory box created to open up the morning after. All our guest still rave about the friendliness , the food , the set up and the stunning views at Sneem Hotel. We can't them recommend enough.

We got married at Sneem Hotel on 31st August 2019 and what an incredible weekend it was!

We planned our wedding from Australia and had originally booked another venue close to home (Limerick) but 5 months before our wedding we were advised that the venue had closed down. We started the search again and we were lucky enough to find Sneem Hotel!

I got to see the venue in real life 5 days before the wedding and I was blown away by how beautiful it was. I got to spend time with Louise the worlds BEST wedding coordinator and go through a check list for the day (she actually stayed back after her shift to meet me as I couldn't get there any earlier).

From the initial point of contact with Louise we felt at ease. I wouldn't say I was the most organised bride, maybe a bit too relaxed at times and I found myself trying to get things done at the last minute but any questions I had Louise was there to help. She was great in the lead up to the wedding and I swear on the day itself she could read my mind! She was always 10 steps ahead and nothing was too much trouble. She was so fast and efficient but in a very calm and relaxed manner. She had met most of the bridal party, family members ect before I had even had a chance to introduce them!

All of the staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for you. So many of our guests complimented the staff on their service not only for the wedding day but for the whole weekend.

We had family and friends travel from Australia, Canada and all around Ireland so we made a weekend of it and had our day after at the hotel aswell. It was so nice to have everyone in one spot and get to spend quality time together.

From the minute we checked in on Friday to check out on Monday we were totally spoiled. The extra touches were just amazing, they thought of everything.

We were lucky enough to get the weather for an outdoor ceremony/drinks reception and the setting was absolutely breathtaking. I believe everything happens for a reason and I'm so grateful we got to spend our special day at this amazing venue!

Our Wedding Reception took place at The Sneem Hotel in August 2019. We could not have wished for a better day. Louise and all of the Staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us and our guests. We would not hesitate in recommending The Sneem Hotel!

Sneem Hotel, were beyond amazing. We had to plan our wedding from abroad in a year and Louise and the team at Sneem couldn't have made that process easier. They accommodated to all our needs and even went much further than we imagined. We would highly recommend Sneem Hotel not only for the staff, but the location, food, accomodation and beautiful vista scenery.

We had our wedding here in June and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing and Louise the wedding planner catered to our every need. Nothing was an issue for them and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. The food, wine and service was exceptional. It was also great value for money. The hotel had a lot of lovely touches that we were not expecting which really made our wedding day feel extra special.

To sum up the whole experience in just one word, it woild have to be AMAZING. From initial correspondence with Louise to departing following our wedding-it was AMAZING. The location, staff, ambience, food, views, setting, hotel dog, local amenities, local knowledge - all AMAZING. The most stunning hotel located in beautiful Sneem. Hotel staff and management are very nice to deal with, very responsive and efficient.The food and service is second to none. We are delighted with our choice, the day could not have gone any better- cannot recommend this wedding venue enough.

My husband and I couldn't have been more impressed by the amazing service that the Sneem Hotel provided for our wedding last year. There was absolutely nothing that Louise hadn't though of, and she went above and beyond in her dedication to the job. My husband was ill in hospital on the run up to the big day, but again, Louise came to the rescue, and despite the fact that we were unable to pop in and finalise details in the final days, she had looked after every single detail, so we didn't need to worry. The food was exceptional, and our only difficulty was choosing what to put on the menu, as each of the options we tasted were divine! The service, staff and location were everything we hoped for and more, and we would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to any other couples looking for their perfect reception venue!

We got married here on the 4th June 2016. The Sneem hotel was just amazing and made our day even more special. The location is stunning, we are both from West Cork and a lot of our guests had never been to Sneem before, they were just blown away by the place.
On the run up to the wedding we were constantly in contact with Louise, who would always provide us with the best advice and nothing was ever too much bother. She's a real people person and would put you at ease straight away. The day off the wedding Louise and the staff really pulled it out of the bag. All the guests loved the food, the hotel looked amazing and the service was top class. It was the little touches and extras which I really loved and makes Sneem different from anywhere else.
It was an epic day and I loved every minute of it!!

Best?Wedding?Venue ever!

We got married at this hotel in March 2016, and from the early stages of planning our big day, every single detail was meticulously cared for. We were treated like royalty by all staff members and our?wedding?was the best day of our lives. Even Red, the friendliest and cutest hotel dog was among us (I am so fond of this dog!!.) We chose this hotel for its quiet and relaxing setting, the fantastic views of the bay, its spacious and fabulous rooms, its excellent food and the bespoke service provided. The wedding Coordinator, Louise, went beyond and above; her creativity and great expertise impressed us and all our family and friends. The timing was perfect, everybody was well looked after but it was little details and the personalized service that made our day truly special and memorable: the picture of my deceased father we used during the ceremony was beautifully placed right behind the main table in the function room, surrounded by candles and fairy lights; it was a big surprise and a very emotional moment for me and my family. Also, I was brought slippers during dinner so my sore feet could relax a bit, another unexpected and pleasant surprise!!!. The food was exquisite and the whole staff was amazing. We, our friends and family found it hard to leave this hotel, and we will not recommend it enough. A very warm thank you with tremendous gratitute to Louise, Nicola, and all the staff members at the Sneem hotel. We can't wait to go back, very soon!

We can't recommend The Sneem Hotel enough. From the moment we arrived in Sneem we were greeted with the warmest welcome. We live in the midlands so organising a wedding in Kerry posed its own difficulties howeverl the team at The Sneem Hotel went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. The location is second to none with beautiful views to enjoy. The village itself is one of Ireland hidden gems. Everybody in the village was so pleasant. We married in the local church which is picture perfect with an amazing parish priest.
All of our guests had wonderful praise for the hotel, the food and wines served were fabulous. The staff at the hotel had a few little surprises for us that were greatly appreciated! We have the fondest memories from our visits to Sneem and we are looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary in The Sneem Hotel!

In December 2014, at Sneem Hotel, Co. Kerry, we enjoyed the most wonderful weekend of our lives with our close friends and family. Checking in on a cold Friday night, we were greeted with a roaring fire, fantastic staff and a warm, Christmas atmosphere. Initially, the plan was for us all to go out for a bite to eat in Sneem village, however, we just could not drag ourselves away from the comforts you can only get in a top class hotel. Instead, a group of thirty-strong sat in the hotel bar for our "last supper "!! The bar staff were great, rearranging tables and chairs so that we could all eat together. Needless to say the food was amazing and it was the perfect start to our weekend.

On Saturday, we got married in the newly renovated Sneem church, which, along with the breathtaking scenery of the Kerry coastline, just happens to be one of the most beautiful churches we've ever seen, at home or abroad. Afterwards, as the bridal party traipsed around the waterfront for photos, our wedding guests headed back to the hotel where they were welcomed with canapés, scones, prosecco and mulled wine. By the time we arrived back to the reception, it was clear to see our guest were being well looked after, and having a fantastic day of drink, food, chat and craic.

The banquet room in Sneem hotel was decked out exactly as we asked, with lots of Christmas decorations and even a small tree! The food was excellent, and it really did keep on coming!!!!!! We chose beef and sea bass, and many guests complimented the standard of the food over the course of the weekend.

The whole day, and the weekend as a whole, was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The professionalism and attention to detail shown by the hotel staff was incredible, and there were so many unexpected little surprises for the bride and groom during the day and night, which I won't spoil by revealing here. Nicola and Louise, the wedding coordinators, were constantly at hand, checking on our guests and ensuring that Neil and I were enjoying our day.

Finally, the hotel rooms were excellent, with views and balconies overlooking the bay.

The highest compliment I can pay Sneem Hotel is that so many friends, most of whom had never heard of Sneem before, have already returned for weekend breaks, and even booked holidays in Sneem for summer 2015.

Thanks to Nicola, Louise, Louis and all the staff at the Sneem Hotel, Sneem will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to return to celebrate our anniversary in December 2015.

Everything about it ? the staff, the accommodation, the food, the setting, the warmness. It is OUTSTANDING. I could go on and on ! The Sneem Hotel know how to host a wedding and blow all your guests away with service, hospitality and support - not just on your wedding day but throughout your planning and build up. We held our wedding at the Sneem Hotel in September 2012. We had 165 guests at our civil ceremony and those 165 guests are STILL talking about the hotel to this day ! They reckon (and so do we of course ;0 ) that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to !! Sneem hotel knocks the socks off on all categories when thinking about a wedding. Me and my husband had the most fantastic wedding day in sneem. From the moment we visited the Sneem hotel and saw the setting and how friendly the staff were we fell in love with the place and looked no further for a venue. For the months leading up to the wedding the staff were amazing and any questions we had were answered promptly. A lot of pressure was taken off us with the venue things we had not even realised when we booked it, the hotel typed up our table plan and set each table with flowers and decorations, even down to the menus, details that never crossed our minds but on the day we thought wow. The hotel left no detail out and all of our guests said after it was a fabulous venue and how accommodating the staff were. The kids at the wedding were fed first and given colouring sheets and crayons which kept them entertained. The food was amazing and the staff offered extra food on numerous occasions throughout the meal and the wine flowed. I would honestly recommend this venue to everyone, we are from cork and Kildare, so a lot of our guests had to travel they said they would do it all again for such a gem of a place and were happy to make a weekend out of it, a lot of them also said they would return for their own break away to the sneem hotel. So yes I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough, a big thank you to everyone there who made our day so special.

We chose the Sneem Hotel for its beautiful location and great service. We had the most wonderful Wedding Day and the Sneem hotel made our day run seamlessly. The reception/food/wine was excellent and everyone had a fantastic time and made a weekend of it, as there were weekend package rates available for both hotel rooms and apartments... It was a relaxing stay and the Honeymoon suite was beautifully laid out for our special night, there were lots of special touches with personalised robes, petals & candles. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicola, Louise and their team who made our day an event to remember. Myself and my wife got married in Sneem hotel in July 2011. From day one when we arrived looking for a prospective wedding venue, up until the day we were leaving after our wedding, we were given the highest level of attention. Sneem hotel itself is a fantastic wedding location with beautiful scenery and a lovely quaint village close by. There's plenty of parking for guests, the rooms are spacious and have reasonable rates. They have the option of apartments adjacent to the hotel for families or those who wish to share. The village of Sneem itself is lovely with plenty to see and do, everywhere you go you always receive a warm welcome. Louise, Nicola and the hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. All hotel staff are happy to engage in friendly conversation and seem genuinely interested in chatting. All guests were well looked after on the wedding day and above all else, the food was outstanding!!, with the majority of our guests commenting on how ?that was the nicest food they've ever had at a wedding?. We can't wait to go back again.

You dream of your big day being the perfect wedding... Sneem hotel for us made it just that!! From the first day we went to visit the venue to going back there for our anniversary a year later we were treated like old friends. Louise & Nicola worked tirelessly to make the planning of our big day hassle free, the day itself flawless and the memories unforgettable. Add all of this to the stunning location and you really have the perfect wedding venue!

James and I met February 2007 in a night club in cork city, our eyes met across the dance floor and we just hit if off. Three years later in May just before my 28th birthday James dropped down onto one knee on Derrynane beach in south west kerry! There was no doubt in our mind where we would get married as I had spent the majorities of my summers holidaying in Waterville, and James loved it as much as i did! A Little piece of heaven. We had our church already picked! Loher Church, a beautiful white church on the ring of kerry road over looking the ocean! We didn't think twice about our hotel choice! We visited 6 hotels in the south west kerry region but there was no doubt in our mind when we met Nicola and all the staff the the sneem hotel! 11 months of planning began! the wedding weekend was planned for the may bank holiday 2011.

For the rehearsal mass i wore my mothers wedding dress, this was a complete surprise to everyone including James! It started off the wedding weekend with a bit of fun and mischief. A Sunny wedding morning started early with Pat o Nell the hairdresser arriving at 7:30. We got ready in my parents summer house on Lough Currane. Fiona Higgins a local beautician did our makeup. Hair and make up done, wedding dress fitted, veil on, first of the days photo calls began. The morning went in blink of the eye, but it was full of laughs with family and friends. The Waterville triathlon was taking place that morning, along with the vintage truck drive of the ring of kerry so getting to the church was an exciting adventure. Father Ryan was a priest for our wedding service, it was everything we could of asked for, a few laughs, beautiful singing by local Ryan sisters and most importantly we were married and it was sealed with a kiss!

We left the church and had photos taken on Derrynane beach. Onward then to Sneem hotel! Our red carpet entrance was topped off with rose petal confetti and champagne. All our guests were sitting out the back in sunshine with the stunning mountain views sipping on drinks and eating delicious canapes. Family photos and then fancy photos from the balcony and the bell was rung for dinner. When everyone was seated James and I made our grand entrance. The Amazing meal was served by a wonderfully professional and helpful staff. We had our speeches after the meal and a few tears were shed. The Aristocrats kicked off with our first dance, for once in my life by Stevie Wonder! We all danced the night away to the band and Dj till the early hours, in the residence bar a sing song began when a guest started playing the grand piano.

When we arrived up to the bedroom there was candles lighting on the balcony, dressing gowns with our names on them on the bed and the hotel had started a memory box which was found on the dresser. This was the best day of our lives and one we will never forget.
