We had our ceremony and reception at the Sneem Hotel and it was beyond amazing. Louise and everyone at the Sneem went above and beyond for us and our guests. We planned our wedding from America and it was so easy and seamless, thanks to the Sneem Hotel team. Many of our family and friends travelled from American for the wedding and it was so convenient to be able to have them all stay on site. Everyone was so impressed too! The food was wonderful. The scenery was gorgeous. Even though we had a rainy day, they truly made the best of it, complete with a heart-shaped umbrella for photos. I highly recommend using the Sneem Hotel for your wedding.

We had the most amazing wedding weekend in Sneem. Louise and the team couldn't have been more helpful. Every little detail was taken care of and nothing was a problem. We were even able to get some practice steps in on the dance floor a few days beforehand! Louise herself was on her hands and knees scrubbing my dress after our photo session in Derrynane! The food was sensational- everyone commented on it. Our honeymoon suite was decorated beautifully when we got back to the room after the best day of our lives. I'll always remember it! We had our big day at Sneem hotel on New Year's Eve and it was absolutely amazing. Our wedding coordinator Louise was a dream to work with from the moment we booked our wedding date. We planned our big day from Toronto and she made it so easy for us. From the creative ideas to the constant support throughout , all the staff at Sneem made our wedding planning so seamless and easy. Even with the constant changing of guest numbers due to covid , Louise and the team kept us stress free and enjoying the build up throughout. We had the boat house booked out for the bridal party and Louise and team even managed to set up a Christmas tree down there for photos and several touches all around the hotel. We also had our day two in the hotel and Louise set up the restaurant with our flowers and decor from the reception room and made us a lovely personalized menu without us even asking. They also had the bridal suite made up so beautifully , had slippers under the table for me at dinner and a beautiful memory box created to open up the morning after. All our guest still rave about the friendliness , the food , the set up and the stunning views at Sneem Hotel. We can't them recommend enough.

I?d always known I wanted to get married in South Kerry. Liam proposed on the Ring if Kerry at Christmas, we are located in Sydney so we decided this was our only opportunity to look at venues together so quickly went into planning mode.

Saw a few venues was about to give up when we popped into Sneem Hotel. Liam mentioned in reception we were looking at wedding venues and Louise O?Flaherty mentioned she was the wedding coordinator. She was the first person we shared our news with and had a celebration with. She gave us a tour of the room, the grounds and hotel. She has the most relaxed vibe about her, we instantly felt at ease. We had the wedding date booked, venue locked in, and the church organised within an hour of meeting Louise!

She does not over complicate wedding planning, and is such a support when at times you can get side tracked and lose the run of your budget. She gives great advice and is so honest in her opinions, where to invest money and what won't get noticed. We planned from Sydney so she was fantastic in recommending suppliers. We had people travelling from all over, so the view at the grounds of hotel and village itself was perfect for people travelling.

We had a three day event. D?OSheas in the village kindly put music on Thursday afternoon after our rehearsals. It was a great gathering location, stunning views and great traditional musicians.

Wedding Friday was undoubtedly the best day of our lives. The church at Sneem is recently renovated so the grounds and interior are stunning and it's a really intimate setting. The staff at Sneem think of literally everything. They even made us sandwiches for after the church so we wouldn't get hungry taking pictures (big hit). Louise and Nicola make it the most seamless day. They had surprise touches throughout the day, that you aren't expecting. There were things I really wanted to do but forgot in the buzz of the day. When we woke up the next day Louise had it all done. Still don't know how she managed it, as I didn't tell her. People still talk about the food, for a large crowd food and quality is definitely not compromised! They just create so a relaxed atmosphere everyone feels at ease.

The day after the wedding. We had breakfast with everyone in the hotel and headed to Rineys for a Hog Roast and buffet, danced to the early hours and danced some more in the residents bar in Sneem after.

Our family and guests still comment on how great it was having everything in the one location. It kept everyone together, meaning we got to spend time with all our family and friends who had travelled.

Our Wedding Reception took place at The Sneem Hotel in August 2019. We could not have wished for a better day. Louise and all of the Staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us and our guests. We would not hesitate in recommending The Sneem Hotel!

From start to finish Louise and all the team in Sneem made the whole planning process so easy. They accommodated anything we asked and made our day so special. The food the venue the staff are amazing. The view out the back of the hotel is breathtaking. Sneem it's self is a dream location for a wedding. We had guests stay in extra days they liked it that much. Thanks again Sneem hotel for making our day so special.

We had our wedding here in June and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing and Louise the wedding planner catered to our every need. Nothing was an issue for them and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. The food, wine and service was exceptional. It was also great value for money. The most stunning hotel located in beautiful Sneem. Hotel staff and management are very nice to deal with, very responsive and efficient.The food and service is second to none. We are delighted with our choice, the day could not have gone any better- cannot recommend this wedding venue enough.

We got married here on the 4th June 2016. The Sneem hotel was just amazing and made our day even more special. The location is stunning, we are both from West Cork and a lot of our guests had never been to Sneem before, they were just blown away by the place.
On the run up to the wedding we were constantly in contact with Louise, who would always provide us with the best advice and nothing was ever too much bother. She's a real people person and would put you at ease straight away. The day off the wedding Louise and the staff really pulled it out of the bag. All the guests loved the food, the hotel looked amazing and the service was top class. It was the little touches and extras which I really loved and makes Sneem different from anywhere else.
It was an epic day and I loved every minute of it!!

We got married at this hotel back in March 2016 and from the early stages of planning to the big day itself every detail was meticulously cared for. We were treated like royalty by all the staff and our wedding was the best day of our lives. We chose this hotel for its quiet setting with the fantastic views of the bay, its big and fabulous rooms, its excellent food and the bespoke service provided. Louise, the hotel Coordinator went above and beyond; her creativity and great expertise impressed us and all our family and friends. The timing was perfect, everybody was well looked after but it was little details and the personalized service that made our day special and memorable: the picture of my deceased father we used during the wedding ceremony was placed right behind the main table in the function room and was surrounded by candles and fairy lights; it was a big surprise and a very emotional moment for me and my family. I was also brought slippers during dinner so my sore feet could relax a bit. The food was exquisite and the whole staff was amazing. We, our friends and family found it hard to leave this hotel and we will not recommend it enough. A very warm thank you to Louise, Nicola, and all the team at Sneem hotel.

We got married here in March 2016 and have therefore had several visits and experiences with the hotel in the lead up to and of course the wedding itself. From the minute we first looked round the hotel we knew it was the one for us - the setting is beautiful, the rooms spacious and the staff excellent. However, it is the friendly/family/relaxed feel that the Sneem Hotel manages so well that really attracted us. Everyone is so welcoming and relaxed and couldn't do enough for you. At this point, I must give specific praise to Louise O Flaherty the wedding coordinator who so effortlessly assists in making the wedding go as perfectly as planned. Sneem will always be very special to us and we will continue to recommend this hotel to all around.

The idyllic location of the Sneem Hotel in Golden's Cove was enough to sell this as a wedding venue! Couple this with what could only be described as 5* service from wedding planner Louise and her team made it the best decision we ever made. Decisive and efficient are 2 words I would use to describe Louise...2 traits which, in the midst of the long to-do list in the build up to the big day, were a breath of fresh air. From start to finish there was no job or request too big or small. The day itself went off without a hitch...all family and friends were made to feel so special and not a stone was left unturned. The little unexpected touches like the kiddies activity packs and the memory box in the bridal room were just some of the few things that made us feel so special and grateful. We woke up the morning after the big day in total disbelief that everything had gone so well. I couldn't recommend this venue more...and will be visiting for years to come!

We can't recommend The Sneem Hotel enough. From the moment we arrived in Sneem we were greeted with the warmest welcome. We live in the midlands so organising a wedding in Kerry posed its own difficulties howeverl the team at The Sneem Hotel went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. The location is second to none with beautiful views to enjoy. The village itself is one of Ireland hidden gems. Everybody in the village was so pleasant. We married in the local church which is picture perfect with an amazing parish priest.
All of our guests had wonderful praise for the hotel, the food and wines served were fabulous. The staff at the hotel had a few little surprises for us that were greatly appreciated! We have the fondest memories from our visits to Sneem and we are looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary in The Sneem Hotel!

After recently attending a friends wedding in 5 star hotel in Killarney, there was no comparison between our wedding in sneem hotel and this 5 star. Everything from the welcome to the staff to the extra intimate touches that Nicola, Louise and staff see to in Sneem are second to none. The flowers in reception were colour co-ordinated to our flowers (without request), the food was exceptional, we could not have asked for more, a fact which was repeated back to us by all our guests. Breakfast the following morning was so relaxed with everybody able to sit around chatting in no rush. I think that because it is away from a big town, you are treated as a celebrity as soon as you walk in the door until the last guest has left. If we were to do it all over again, we would go back without hesitation. I would rate it much higher than any other wedding venue.

Thinking of holding a wedding at the Sneem Hotel ? Book it !!! Do not delay or ponder anymore. You will not be disappointed. This hotel is ABSOLUTELY & UTTERLY AMAZING !!! Everything about it ? the staff, the accommodation, the food, the setting, the warmness. It is OUTSTANDING. I could go on and on ! The Sneem Hotel know how to host a wedding and blow all your guests away with service, hospitality and support - not just on your wedding day but throughout your planning and build up. We held our wedding at the Sneem Hotel in September 2012. We had 165 guests at our civil ceremony and those 165 guests are STILL talking about the hotel to this day ! They reckon (and so do we of course ;0 ) that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to !! Sneem hotel knocks the socks off on all categories when thinking about a wedding. We had our wedding at the Sneem Hotel in July. This hotel is really fantastic! It is located in the heart of the Ring of Kerry. Well, can't imagine a much better location and found the staff on every level of service very helpful and friendly!
All our guest were so impressed with the level of service and the food. They are still talking about the black pudding starter. The food is locally sourced so you get the best.
The room we stayed in was the perfect very comfortable and cosy. The hotel was very clean and hygienic at all times. I'd most definitely would recommend it to anyone for a wedding or a nice weekend away.

We chose the Sneem Hotel for its beautiful location and great service. We had the most wonderful Wedding Day and the Sneem hotel made our day run seamlessly. The reception/food/wine was excellent and everyone had a fantastic time and made a weekend of it, as there were weekend package rates available for both hotel rooms and apartments... It was a relaxing stay and the Honeymoon suite was beautifully laid out for our special night, there were lots of special touches with personalised robes, petals & candles. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicola, Louise and their team who made our day an event to remember. Our wedding day in Sneem was a dream come through. Louise and Nicole were fantastic to deal with. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the Sneem hotel. All the staff were so friendly and made a huge effort to make our wedding day very personal and special. All our guest were hugely impressed with the hotel and the staff.The rooms and apartments are beautiful. The Bridal suite was so elegantly decorated. The food was out of this world. It is very hard to put into words just how great this hotel is. The personal touches Louise and Nicole did for our wedding day and their attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. I could not find any fault with The Sneem Hotel and would recommend any couple to book this hotel for their wedding. We have wonderful memories of our wedding day in Sneem that we will cherish forever.

Myself and my wife got married in Sneem hotel in July 2011. From day one when we arrived looking for a prospective wedding venue, up until the day we were leaving after our wedding, we were given the highest level of attention. Sneem hotel itself is a fantastic wedding location with beautiful scenery and a lovely quaint village close by. There's plenty of parking for guests, the rooms are spacious and have reasonable rates. They have the option of apartments adjacent to the hotel for families or those who wish to share. The village of Sneem itself is lovely with plenty to see and do, everywhere you go you always receive a warm welcome. Louise, Nicola and the hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. All hotel staff are happy to engage in friendly conversation and seem genuinely interested in chatting. All guests were well looked after on the wedding day and above all else, the food was outstanding!!, with the majority of our guests commenting on how ?that was the nicest food they've ever had at a wedding?. We can't wait to go back again.

Mark and myself had our wedding reception at Sneem Hotel on 03rd Dec 2011. We stayed for the weekend as well as a lot of our guests. We can honestly say that we were treated so so well and every staff member was so friendly. All our guests praised the accommodation both in hotel and apartments as well as the food was perfection. Atmosphere was so relaxed, we honestly felt that we were treated like royalty.....I can't wait to go back very soon.....well done to all and thanks for making our weekend truly amazing. Honestly feel that this is our getaway hotel for a long time to come.

James and I met February 2007 in a night club in cork city, our eyes met across the dance floor and we just hit if off. Three years later in May just before my 28th birthday James dropped down onto one knee on Derrynane beach in south west kerry! There was no doubt in our mind where we would get married as I had spent the majorities of my summers holidaying in Waterville, and James loved it as much as i did! A Little piece of heaven. We had our church already picked! Loher Church, a beautiful white church on the ring of kerry road over looking the ocean! We didn't think twice about our hotel choice! We visited 6 hotels in the south west kerry region but there was no doubt in our mind when we met Nicola and all the staff the the sneem hotel! 11 months of planning began! the wedding weekend was planned for the may bank holiday 2011.

For the rehearsal mass i wore my mothers wedding dress, this was a complete surprise to everyone including James! It started off the wedding weekend with a bit of fun and mischief. A Sunny wedding morning started early with Pat o Nell the hairdresser arriving at 7:30. We got ready in my parents summer house on Lough Currane. Fiona Higgins a local beautician did our makeup. Hair and make up done, wedding dress fitted, veil on, first of the days photo calls began. The morning went in blink of the eye, but it was full of laughs with family and friends. The Waterville triathlon was taking place that morning, along with the vintage truck drive of the ring of kerry so getting to the church was an exciting adventure. Father Ryan was a priest for our wedding service, it was everything we could of asked for, a few laughs, beautiful singing by local Ryan sisters and most importantly we were married and it was sealed with a kiss!

We left the church and had photos taken on Derrynane beach. Onward then to Sneem hotel! Our red carpet entrance was topped off with rose petal confetti and champagne. All our guests were sitting out the back in sunshine with the stunning mountain views sipping on drinks and eating delicious canapes. Family photos and then fancy photos from the balcony and the bell was rung for dinner. When everyone was seated James and I made our grand entrance. The Amazing meal was served by a wonderfully professional and helpful staff. We had our speeches after the meal and a few tears were shed. The Aristocrats kicked off with our first dance, for once in my life by Stevie Wonder! We all danced the night away to the band and Dj till the early hours, in the residence bar a sing song began when a guest started playing the grand piano.

When we arrived up to the bedroom there was candles lighting on the balcony, dressing gowns with our names on them on the bed and the hotel had started a memory box which was found on the dresser. This was the best day of our lives and one we will never forget.
