The ardliaun hotel was amazing in every aspect of our wedding from bar to the incredible food for the wedding from start to finish they went up and beyond to make sure myself and my new wife and guest were looked after.the room were grate to .would recommend anyone to go check it out you won't regret it.

We got married at the Ardilaun on 8th August and it was perfect from the start to the end all thanks to Allison and the team. They went above and beyond nothing we asked was too much trouble and they made us feel at ease for the whole duration. We had 140 guests from England & they have all said how lovely and accommodating all the hotel staff were! If your thinking of staying here or even better getting married here don’t think anymore do it!! I promise you won’t regret it, we wish we could do our day all over again & we wouldn’t change a thing. We will forever cherish the memories of our big day thanks to the Ardilaun & can’t wait to return one day. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Mr & Mrs McNamara

Alison, Patrick and the team were incredible. They had so many options for us in terms of packages and our guests were really catered to as soon as they arrived. Their kindness and positive attitudes helped settle any nerves because we felt in such good hands.

We got married in the Ardilaun Hotel in January 2024, and it was the most enjoyable experience from start to finish. Zara, Conor and all the team were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a problem. Paul, the chef provided the most excellent buffet. Truly the food and the service was absolutely top notch. The gardens provided a gorgeous backdrop for the photos. We got special rates for bed and breakfast for our guests and breakfast was excellent also. We really couldn’t praise the Ardilaun Hotel enough as a wedding venue. Keep up the great work

In all our interactions with the Ardilaun Hotel in the run up to our wedding, it felt like ours was their only wedding being catered for. We never felt like just another client. They respected how invested and excited we were and they made us feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble, irrespective of which staff member we were speaking with.

The Ardilaun is a beautiful hotel, and is very well equipped for weddings. It's clear that the staff are very experienced in ensuring that your day runs seamlessly, and all of the staff we dealt with were genuinely kind people and dealt with any special requests swiftly and efficiently. We couldn't have asked for a better team on our special day. The location of the hotel is really convenient - walking distance to the center (25 minutes), so you have all the benefits of a spacious hotel with beautiful gardens, quiet surroundings and plentiful parking, without having to sacrifice access to key areas of Galway. It's also convenient for any guests visiting Salthill, Barna, or driving further West to explore Connemara. We had an amazing wedding at The Ardilaun and would gladly recommend it to others. If I were to single out one area where they stand ahead of other venues, it's the staff for sure. A truly brilliant team!

I can not recommend The Ardilaun hotel enough if you are looking for the perfect venue for your special day. From the beautiful decor and gardens to the delicious food and welcoming staff we loved every minute of our wedding and all of our guests were blown away by the wonderful and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Zara was so attentive and made sure our day went so smoothly. I wish we could do it all again tomorrow!

I'm delighted I went for the Ardilaun hotel for our wedding venue. I can't fault anything honestly. Rooms were great, reception was great and the food was amazing and on time. I would highly recommend the Ardilaun hotel.

We had our wedding in the Ardilaun recently, and they looked after us so well. Guests are still talking about the food which came out piping hot and tasted delicious. There was no waiting around from one part of the day to the next, everything ran smoothly. The staff were just lovely to deal with and great craic! We even had our day 2 there and they kindly gave us the use of the restaurant. I can't fault them, the venue is lovely and welcoming, and we look forward to returning!

There is nothing to fault as such, we chose the room looking out onto the garden for our ceremony and with just over 50 guests it was a bit of a squeeze especially for the photographer. Ideal for about 35 guests but any more if possible opt for another room or garden for ceremony.
Also, myself and bridesmaids stayed in the Ardilaun the night before, the room was just fabulous, so spacious, it was stress free, the staff were on hand helping so much with whatever we needed.. Drinks, flowers brought up from cold room, chairs for us for make up and hair they just couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely fab. And the staff were just super from dinner to end. Just another thing is maybe request to do the cake cutting, now luckily we had the fake cake cutting done while photographer was there but later on the night the cake was cut and left on the side just in case some would prefer to actually do the first cake cut. We weren't bothered as such it's just something some of the guests mentioned. All in all it was just perfect from start to end and Zara was just such a lovely person to deal with from planning right up to the last emails and meet up. She accomodated us in whatever way she could.

Zara was an absolute legend arranging our intimate wedding reception and all the staff are brilliant!

Had the best night at our wedding in The Ardilaun. Zara was very helpful in the lead up. Roisin was so lovely at our menu tasting and it was great to see her familiar face serving us on the day also. The room was decorated beautifully. The room was spacious even though we had 200 guests. The guests all complimented the beef and chicken. The managers and all the waiting staff were very efficient. I requested YouTube links to be played for the entrance etc and no task was too much. We had never been to a wedding here before our own but we definitely made the right choice.

We had a super weekend in the Ardilaun, Zara was so helpful and very accommodating to our requests, the managers and staff were top class. We would be more than happy to recommend to our friends.

The Ardilaun and especially Zara made our day incredibly special. There wasn't a thing that we or our guests wanted for all day and everything ran so smoothly which is credit to Zara and the lovely staff. From the moment Cian and I arrived to the mouth watering food at the reception and BBQ the next day, it was just a dream and we couldn't have wished for more.

A massive thank you to all the staff who helped on our wedding day, it was such an easy process with Zara and everyone was so accommodating. The food, waiting staff and bar staff on the day were so friendly, efficient and just brilliant the whole day went so smoothly. All the management team who were looking after us couldn't do enough for us and even popped over to us the next day to see how we enjoyed our day. We got married in The Ardilaun in Feb 23 and it was magnificent. Our families and friends stayed for three nights and the service was perfect. Staff were friendly and everything went well from beginning to end. Could not have asked for more! Lovely family run hotel, delicious food and a really chilled weekend. Absolutely delighted we chose to celebrate our wedding in The Ardilaun Hotel in December 2022. We both love Christmas and so choosing a hotel that decorates beautifully for Christmas was important and The Ardilaun do just that. The hotel is fabulous and so homely. From first meeting Zara and being shown around the hotel, we knew we had to get married here. Zara was so accommodating and nothing was an issue, we had our drinks reception in the Glenarde suite instead of the lobby and this was catered for no problem despite it not being a usual request.
The day ran so smoothly with Jason playing a blinder on the day. He went over and beyond and the service was next to none from the time we arrived in Galway to the time we left. We are so grateful. All our guests were ranting and raving about the hotel & staff. The hotel & staff couldnt do enough for us, including moving bags to the Bridal suite the morning of after getting ready and providing me with nosecco upon arrival as I was pregnant. The attention to detail was out of this world. The food was excellent and the cheesecake for dessert was to die for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the best wedding weekend. We had the best wedding day and NYE party for Day 2. We highly recommend The Ardilaun, they are fantastic at what they do.

Our wedding at the Ardialaun Hotel was fantastic, we had the best day. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, with the hotel itself being a great hotel for guests as with its very relaxed atmosphere and great food and drink. We had our wedding ceremony there on the 28th of October and there is not one thing we could fault. From start to finish it was just amazing. The food,venue and the bedrooms were all spectacular. A big thank you to Zara for all her help in organising the day there was no job to big for her. All the staff were so friendly and helpful as well.

Amazing staff and service from the first phone call to Zara Kelly to enquire about dates! Zara was such a pleasure to deal with and Melissa, Yvonne, Kate Emma Bryan and team, looked after us so so well. All of our guests had a wonderful time as did we, and we cannot thank the Ardilaun enough for all they did for us , won't hesitate to recommend to future couples as a wedding venue!

The Ardilaun Hotel has a longstanding reputation of being a really fantastic wedding venue so was an easy choice for us to make. I'm sure we probably drove the staff mad on occasions with all of the emails/queries that I made, but they always responded quickly which was excellent.

The bridal Suite was exceptional, and as I stayed there the night before the ceremony gave me loads of space to get things ready for the next day and had plenty of room for 5 of us to get ready.

The ceremony space was done to perfection, and as we arranged most of our own decor for the reception room it turned out exceptional! All of our guests were impressed that you can bring your own personal touches to the venue if required.

The only downside to the entire experience was that an error was made on one of our chosen main courses, which resulted in some of our guests saying they were disappointed with the dish given in its place. This didn't come to light until everyone had sat down to eat so I would definitely recommend that the team check in with the bridal party a day or two in advance to confirm the menu is correct.

Aside from this I cannot fault anything, the service and quantity of food provided during the service was immense, and all in all it was an exceptionally fun and memorable day and would recommend the hotel to any potential wedding couples!

We had the most amazing time for our wedding on August 13th 2022. From check in on the 12th, the level of service was first class. Luckily we had great weather which allowed for a drinks reception in the Ardilaun's lovely outdoor area.

Zara was great to work with especially since most of the planning was done via email from the States. She helped us immensely! We would not change a thing and are so happy! So happy with our decision to have our wedding day in the Ardilaun. Communication was excellent, their team is very professional and open to any ideas. We had an amazing day and everyone keep commenting about the delicious food we had!.

Overall the Ardilaun hotel provided a great day for our wedding. In particular our wedding planner Zara was very helpful and was always at hand for any questions and replied very promptly. The food was excellent and all our guests thought so too! On reflection the only thing that bothered us on the day was that the dinner service was very slow. We were quite late finishing the meal which meant the band were very late starting and the rest of the evening was delayed as a result. This was possibly due to lack of or inexperienced staff due to covid but knowing the size of the wedding the hotel should have made allowances for that. On another small note, the complimentary breakfast in bed the following morning never arrived, when we rang to reception to enquire about it at 10.30, we were told that breakfast was finished. When we explained that we were in the bridal suite the receptionist organised breakfast to be sent up straight away and it was lovely. It just would have been better maybe if that had been communicated better to us in terms of times etc. And perhaps organised ahead of time as we just assumed that would have been done.

John, Maria, Catherine, Conor, Eleanor, Mike, Jason, Paddy, the amazing chefs and all the fabulous staff of the Ardilaun Hotel. I?m about to hop on a plane but I wanted to drop you a line to thank you so so much for delivering the wedding of our dreams this weekend, you went above and beyond and you exceeded all of our expectations. We are on such a high and that is in large down to the experience you gave us and our guests over the last four days. We have memories we will cherish forever and none of it would have been possible without you guys, the service was exceptional and attention to detail was exacting, I couldn?t believe it when my steak was presented exactly as I like it, Medium. The fact you guys remember that when I just mentioned it flippantly weeks ago really surprised me and certainly impressed me. Not surprisingly, everyone is raving about the food, you wouldn?t believe the amount of times it has been mentioned since. It was one of the best beef fillets we?ve ever eaten, cooked to perfection and our guests are likely to never forget it as it made such an impact, it was noted so much in our guest book, the chefs really nailed it.

Conor and Maria, thank you for the incredible welcome and for making us feel at home, it was so lovely to have a fellow islander oversee the proceedings and you were fantastic from start to finish, both JP and I are so grateful. Maria, thank you for making it all happen in the lead up, for the advice and for answering the many questions/queries over the last number of months. Thank you also for checking in with us on Thursday evening and for being so thorough to check everything one last time.

Michael and Jason, thank you so much for making the morning of our wedding so relaxing and memorable, the Garden room worked so well and the delivery of our breakfast items was so efficient and again when we ordered our breakfast to the room yesterday. The wedding team at the Ardilaun were very professional and easy to deal with. The venue was perfect with a beautiful outdoor garden area where we had our drinks reception. We recently had our wedding reception at the Ardilaun Hotel and from Day 1 when we first met Maureen we knew instantly that the Ardilaun was exactly where we wanted our wedding reception to be and her attention to detail and honesty was so helpful in all the preparations. She really made everything flow so smoothly in every aspect of the planning and was always available for a chat or a quick meeting when we wanted to discuss any detail and this was greatly appreciated. We received so many great compliments from all our guests about the standard of food, with many saying it was the best meal they had ever eaten! And we couldn't agree more, the food was outstanding. We cannot commend the hotel staff enough, as the level of service was second to none and the kindness and helpfulness shown at different stages of the weekend to ourselves and our guests was brilliant.

After a tip from a friend, we showed up to the Ardilaun on a whim, and asked to speak to the wedding planner, Maureen. As we sat down to talk, the first she did was quietly cross out ?Bride? at the top of her form, and write in ?Groom.?

That might seem like a small thing, but every other venue had given us a long sales pitch that was aimed at brides and grooms (which included a lot of perks for the bride, like discounts for dressmakers or make-up, or hen party packages). It wasn?t offensive, but it did start to feel silly that they weren?t bothering to tailor their spiel, given that there were two men standing in front of them.

When Maureen changed the form, she didn?t make a show of doing it, and probably didn?t realize we had noticed. But it gave us a sense that she was listening to our needs, and that she and the hotel had an attention to detail that would be present right through to the wedding day.

We weren?t disappointed. Maureen and her team worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed, and were on hand during the months of preparation to answer our questions and offer advice on how best to put the day together. Our ceremony was a mix of Irish and Persian traditions -- including an elaborate Persian altar -- which the hotel went to great lengths to accommodate. The meal enjoyed by our guests was excellent, as was the service throughout the evening.

We are very slowly adjusting to reality after returning from our honeymoon. There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for all the hard work and dedication of your staff on our wedding day and the day after. We are incredibly grateful. We appreciate you seeing our vision and listening to our needs and concerns. We had the time of our lives and enjoyed every moment of the wedding. Thanks for setting up all the little details and for having the day run like clockwork!

The second day was beautifully set up and the we all enjoyed it so much. Joe was wonderful and attentive as were all the staff. Maureen you are the ultimate professional and from the first day we walked into the Ardilaun and met you we knew it was the place for us. Thanks for your kindness, patience, advice and understanding. We wish we could do it all again.

As we organised a lots of details from abroad, we really appreciated the quick responses from Maureen to our email questions. Our wedding day went so smoothly, the room was decorated beautifully, and all of our guests were very impressed with the food, the service staff were always helpful and friendly, no matter where you were in the hotel. Maureen and her team were faultless, they could not do enough for us and every detail was perfectly executed. The food was outstanding, many comments from guests were that it was not your standard ?wedding? food, but more that of a high end restaurant. The location and venue is intimate and relaxed and we really felt we were more at home, than lost in a boring reception centre

My husband and I got married at The Ardilaun on Friday 30th November 2018 and all we can say is WOW!! We had the most fantastic wedding. Maureen Walsh, the dedicated Wedding Planner at The Ardilaun was just the best ever. Maureen was super professional helpful, kind, made great suggestions that all worked out, replied to my 60000 emails with every question under the sun that we had. We could have not done it without her. All of the staff at the Ardilaun were so friendly and kind and were genuinely so caring and every single one of them wished us well on our big day ?
The function room for our civil ceremony was decorated beautifully with fabulous flower arrangements and because it was almost Christmas the hotel had its fabulous decorations up and even had a brand new carpet in the foyer the week before the wedding.
The food was absolutely delicious, I?m normally not a huge fan of Wedding food but the meal that we had at The Ardilaun was unreal. The soup was piping hot, starter was so tasty and they carved the roast beef table side so it was piping hot. Every guest complemented us on the food and service. The evening food was also delicious! Maureen ensured that we had the honeymoon suite for our two nights stay at The Ardilaun and gave us champagne and truffles and a fruit plate. Our families and friends were so impressed with their rooms, quality of service and the whole event. We are delighted that we choose The Ardilaun for our Wedding, it really was the best day of our lives and we would sincerely like to thank everybody there for making it such. We would highly recommend to anybody thinking about having their wedding in Galway to meet with Maureen at The Ardilaun and we promise you won?t be disappointed. Enjoy

The wedding coordinator Maureen was brilliant to deal with from day one, and we knew we were in good hands. The entire day ran smoothly, with Maureen and the rest of the great staff working hard to ensure our guests had a memorable experience.

We had our Civil Ceremony in one of the smaller suites, and it was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Following the ceremony, the drinks reception was held in the foyer with the in-house Guinness Jazz Trio band performing. The foyer of the hotel is large with many comfortable seats, and we also gathered there throughout the weekend to enjoy coffee and chats. Our family and friends commented on how comfortable the hotel is, as it still retains the charm and feel of a country house.

Our dinner reception was in the large Connaught Suite, and it was beautifully decorated on the day. The food was absolutely superb, and we have received lots of compliments from our guests since then about the quality and service.

Maureen the wedding planner was excellent, so helpful in planning the wedding day. The venue was beautiful and the food was lovely.

Maureen was so helpful in the lead up to our wedding. Maureen was very easy to deal with and really knew what she was talking about, what works, what wouldn?t, etc. Staff at the venue were wonderful. Food was amazing and wine flowed throughout the meal! Would highly recommend to couples considering this venue.

We had our wedding reception in the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway on 24 March 2017 and can't recommend it highly enough. The food, service and attention to detail are all outstanding. Our main objective was to have a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day and having Maureen Walsh as the hotel wedding planner was key to that. From the moment we booked the Ardilaun, the planning became very simple as Maureen is a complete expert. The reception itself on the day was more perfect than we could have hoped. The weather was sunny so the drinks reception was held outside where a very festive atmosphere was created. The Guinness Jazz Trio play at the drinks receptions for Ardilaun weddings and they really added to the occasion. We had a relatively small wedding so were slightly concerned that the crowd might look a bit dwarfed in the large function room. However, Maureen and her team laid out the room so that it was the perfect size for our wedding. The dinner was really superb - all of our guests mentioned how good the meal was and there were very generous helpings. The wine was also excellent. The Ardilaun seems to adopt a whole of hotel approach to weddings as all of the staff, from reception to those at breakfast, were so attentive and obliging. The quality of service was also something many of our guests mentioned. We are just delighted we made the choice to book the Ardilaun for our wedding!

Maureen and her team were excellent on the day we couldn't fault the food the service or the attentiveness of the staff to our guests. We had one issue in the whole process in that we were not informed that rooms were selling out and that no more would be available to our guests despite requesting the hotel to let us know we resolved the issue eventually but it was an issue. Everything else from the planning tasting etc was in my opinion faultless we were very happy with the hotel and food and service we received. the room is beautiful and very comfortable and was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.

Fabulous cosy hotel. Pet friendly which was a huge bonus for us. Very reasonably priced. Best part was definitely the staff. Everyone was so kind & welcoming. Maureen our wedding co-ordinator was amazing. So professional & extremely helpful. So glad we chose to have our wedding here

I just can't thank The Ardilaun Hotel enough for providing what was an absolutely amazing weekend for our wedding in August last year. I am absolutely delighted that we chose this hotel for our big day. From the moment that we booked the wedding, Maureen and the staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to accommodate us. The planning, advice and reassurance from Maureen during the lead up to the wedding was really appreciated and helped to make sure the day was so special for us. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming - providing an efficient and professional service at all times. The food was excellent - from the canap?s to the meal to the evening food. On the day of the wedding, Maureen just made sure everything was perfect all of the time. And it was; everything was timed so well and went off without a hitch. We would happily recommend The Ardilaun to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue, as would all of our guests who still compliment us on how fabulous the whole day was.

Choosing a venue was high on my list as both myself and my husband are involved in the catering business and so were a lot of my guests. Standard of food was very important to both of us. Once we met with Maureen we knew we were in good hands. We had some ideas we wanted to do on the day and nothing seemed to faze Maureen and was on board with us and also gave us her thoughts of what works and what doesn't. We had the most wonderful day and can't thank the ardilaun for creating the perfect day for us.

Considering we organised our wedding from Australia - Maureen was on hand day and night to reply to emails and phone calls in the months leading up to the wedding.

The Ardilaun was the perfect venue for a summer wedding. Maureen in the Ardilaun was a splendid wedding co-ordinator, a true professional and was helpful from day one. The Ardilaun held a fantastic Bubbly Brunch Wedding Planning Day that was informative & fun. Head Chef, David was creative and flexible in his approach and catered for a gluten free dining experience for almost 300 guests where nobody felt short changed. The gardens of the Ardilaun were the ideal spot for our next day BBQ. I couldn't recommend the team at the Ardilaun highly enough for their individual approach and quality of service.

From start to finish, The Ardilaun took care of everything for us. The function room was beautifully decorated for the event...the food was delicious to say the least and to top it all off, Maureen organised for a photo op with President Michael D Higgins on the night! In conclusion, we would without hesitation recommend the Ardilaun Hotel anyone considering their big day.
