The Carriage Rooms at Markree Courtyard

We were honoured to be the first wedding to be held in Markree Courtyard on 10th September 2022 and WOW! what a venue! No words can express how delighted we were with the entire experience from start to finish We were able to hire the venue exclusively for the weekend and create a dream wedding day that was unique to us… The Couryard and Carriage rooms have been recently restored and the attention to detail is second to none… it has retained all its original character, charm and even standing stalls! The restoration project is a credit to the owners There are no shortage of photo opportunities at this venue… from the entrance, to the gardens and even the staircase We stayed in the house the night before the wedding… it was ornate, homely and spacious. The staff ensured we had everything we needed. The bonus was the salon for hair and makeup the morning of the wedding… yes an actual salon, my hairdresser was delighted! Thankfully we were blessed with the weather and so the drinks reception was held in middle of the courtyard with bubbly, beer and cocktails. We had live music and even done the speeches out here. The atmosphere was unbelievable ???? We were blown away when we walked into the function room and see it fully set up… it was STUNNING! Samantha & Anne are worth their weight in gold! They went above and beyond to ensure we had the most magical day. From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank these two ladies enough… the entire experience was beyond perfect and this was mainly because of these two ladies! We have no doubt that Markree Courtyard is going to be one of the best wedding venues in the North West. It all always hold a very special place in our hearts ??
