The Royal Marine was so accommodating and flexible from the start until the end. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable. All the guests commented about wonderful the day was and how smooth it all went. I can't fault it all! Wonderful hotel

The Royal Marine Hotel was the perfect place for our wedding. Despite a change in wedding coordinator the week before the wedding (eek!) the team were with us every step of the way to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. The entire staff were just wonderful, and our guests were commenting on how welcoming and helpful they all were. They also all seemed genuinely happy to be there and to help out, and were eager to make sure everyone was looked after.

We are so so grateful to Christine and the team for going above and beyond to make our wedding day so amazing. We were so impressed by how helpful, professional and welcoming all the staff were. We heard nothing but good things from our guests too. The food was a highlight for everyone..and in particular the cocktail sausages served at the evening buffet!
The build up and the day went so smoothly, we honestly couldn't have asked for better from this beautiful venue. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again when we come back for our one year anniversary!! :)

We have no regrets choosing the Royal Marine hotel for our big day.
The venue alone, with its amazing ballroom and gorgeous reception was beautiful, with the hotel itself adding a perfect backdrop for our wedding photos.
The wedding team went above and beyond!
Christine our coordinator answered every question so efficiently and professionally, she became a great friend by the time our day came around and we knew we were in good hands.
Banqueting manager John ensured the service was smooth and exactly what we wanted on the day and really knows his stuff.
Andrew was also amazing during our whole reception and even the following day ensuring both ourselves and our guests had everything we needed, no request too big.
The team really looked after us making sure we felt like their top priority. Our guests raved about the brilliant staff, exceptional food and stunning venue.
We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.

This hotel was absolutely superb from day one. Nothing was a problem to them. They were professional at all times and totally delivered on the day! The food was piping hot and our guests commented on how good it was in particular the fish and chip cones at night time! Ashleigh our coordinator was the dream! Anything we asked for was not a problem and the day ran so smoothly, she was so professional and I genuinely looked forward to our meetings. John on the day was a gentleman and even saved the day when we had a mishap with our wedding cake! He even helped pack up my car the following day. Beautiful hotel in a perfect setting! We can't thank them enough. Grainne and Paudie.

We had an absolutely amazing wedding day and weekend. From beginning to end we could not fault one thing. The room looked amazing thanks to Danka and the staff. John was just a dream to work with. Andrew and Paul from the Thursday evening until I came back to collect my car was just absolutely amazing and Niall, everyone kept talking about how friendly and helpful and kind he was. I did not catch the bar man from the Saturday's name but he was so lovely and the lads had a laugh with him. All of our guests have made comments on the hotel and the staff and said they would recommend it to anyone as they just had such an amazing time.. The Germans loved Paul by the way. Both Mark and I have agreed that the Royal Marine is not just where we had our wedding is but is like another home and that is down to yourself and the staff. We hope to come down over the next few weeks and take the staff up on their word to visit. *Wedding Co-ordinator - Ashleigh - Wedding - April 2019*

We had our wedding at The Royal Marine Hotel on 1/9/18 and we had an amazing day, it went beyond our expectations. Our wedding coordinator Niamh was nothing but helpful, exceptional and professional. We loved her positive & realistic replies to all our request and queries. We would like to mention John (Manager)who was also looking after us on our special day making sure everything went to plan. Also we must say food was amazing and the staff were excellent.
Although everything went perfectly to plan on the day, however we were not fully happy with the reservations department. We had many guest coming from abroad so we organized their bookings. The bookings were wrong several times (wrong no of nights for example) and also we received an email stating that the bookings will be release if we would not provide bank card details within a certain date which we found totally unnecessary and added stress. On a positive note I want to say the reservations manager Rachel was very helpful and patient trying to get the reservations right.

We had a fantastic day at the Royal Marine Hotel and were very pleased with the service and welcome given to us by all the team. What we really loved were the scenic and convenient location for people both local and travelling from further afield. We also liked that the fact that the venue was suitable for all ages, young and old - with a separate bar area, scenic outdoor space and large banquet hall for our 160 or so guests. The organisation process was very stress-free and Alma and the team were very responsive to our requests: we opted for a buffet and had a c?il? - both accommodated with no problems. Everyone had a wonderful time, most of all us! A big thank you!

Excellent overall service and value for money. We had our ceremony and reception at the Royal Marine and ourselves and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The food in particular was superb. We are looking forward to returning for a night in the hotel again soo.

I have nothing but positive things to say about The Royal Marine. The staff were fantastic on the day and our wedding co-ordinator Alma was beyond helpful in the run up to the big day. The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious and everything was laid out exactly as we wanted. We have such happy memories of our wedding day at The Royal Marine!

I have had the pleasure of attending a black tie event and a friends wedding at The Royal Marine Hotel. The food was excellent and plentiful (which made the men on my table very happy), the views towards the pier were gorgeous from the ballroom and the front of the hotel, where my friend has amazing pictures in the band stand.

We had the most wonderful wedding at the Royal Marine Hotel. We were coming to get married in Dublin from California and had to do everything via email and phone calls. The people we worked with couldn't have been more attentive and we felt like we had a personal wedding planner.
The food, as per my guests reviews',was outstanding. They gave us referrals to a photographer, videographer, florists etc.and all of them were consummate professionals. We hired a company they recommended to drape the room and it was very much like a fairytale. We had a Civil ceremony in the nautical museum 200 yards from the hotel and they even brought in all the chairs and carpet to convert the museum into a wedding venue for a very reasonable price. The hotel also allowed us to bring in 6 foot bay trees we bought from a local nursery to add greenery to the reception area. They put them in a small room where we were able to decorate them with fairy lights and then they took over and moved them to the reception area.
All our guests both local and from overseas raved about the venue, the food and how nice everyone was to them. They really went out of their way to make it a magical week for us.

Excellent classy and a great way to celebrate our day, I can't recommend this hotel enough. The menu was catered to our taste and the staff were lovely and courteous the hotel and location is stunning and great for photos. The addition of our first anniversary stay was amazing and treated to dinner in the beautiful restaurant. Prices to suit all budgets, extensive selection of packages in a truly beautiful setting. Once again I can't recommend it enough it's an experience I and my husband will cherish , if you are looking for a unforgettable day then give it a look.

Everything was so easy from the moment we decided to book the Royal Marine Hotel for our wedding. The staff were wonderful, everything was taken care of. They were so quick to respond to any queries and were so helpful when any issues arose for us. The day itself was brilliant. everything was taken care of. Our guests all had a brilliant day, with many of them commenting on the beautiful venue, the wonderful staff and the fabulous food. We had the most incredible wedding day and I would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend the Royal Marine Hotel as a wedding venue. The service and attention to detail was fantastic. It's a gorgeous venue with the added bonus of the view to the water. The food was excellent and the entire package was definitely value for money. Everything on the day was planned meticulously so we had nothing to do except enjoy ourselves.

We had the most spectacular wedding reception in the Royal Marine from start to finish.We were so well looked after by the friendly staff,especially by Aidan,Paul and Maeve,they made are day so special!The room was laid out beautifully,surrounded by spectacular views of Dun Laoire Pier!The food was tasty too!Would recommend it to anyone!!!

I would really highly recommend The Royal Marine for hosting a wedding. We were really delighted with the service we got. In the run up to the wedding we dealt with Maeve and she was great to work with. She was always on hand to answer queries and help with anything and she really made sure the day was planned perfectly. On the day itself everything did run perfectly. The staff went out of their way to make sure that our guests and us were treated like royalty. As well as Maeve, Paul was great to work with and nothing was left to chance. Some benefits of the hotel that we really liked was that we got complimentary membership of the health club for 3 months. We also appreciated their flexibility when it came to arranging the reception food. We were still making changes two days before the wedding and this didn't seem to be a problem. Furthermore, they looked after our guests with specific dietary requirements, which was much appreciated. If I had one criticism to make, and it's a minor one it would be the price of rooms under the 'wedding rate'. Many of our guests booked online and got rooms for much cheaper than the hotel was prepared to give when we booked rooms for if bridal party and family. Overall though, I couldn't speak highly enough of the hotel and it's staff and many of our guests have commented since on how much they loved it and that they intend to go back. It's a great venue and the best complement I could probably give is that I would happily do it all over again and I wouldn't change a thing about that day.

Well from start to finish i had an amazing day helped alongside by the staff at The Royal Marine from the morning i woke up the text i received from them congratulating me on my big day to the mishaps i had with my cake company they quickly fixed for me discretely. They had a member of staff with me all day at hand if i needed anything at all till we went to bed .They even helped me out with my ice bucket challenge in my wedding dress for breast cancer. Such an amazing historic place , I couldn't of chose a more beautiful venue My Husband and i were thrilled with there service and would 100% recommend them .

We are just back from our honeymoon and I think it's only fair to say a very big thank you for the absolutely great wedding that exceeded everyone's expectations.
I don't even know where to start.
Every single thing was perfect from the waiters in the hotel and room service to every tiny detail during the wedding.
The royal marine's attention to detail was spectacular and I don't think anyone expected such a perfect day and wouldn't have from any hotel. You have definitely out done all your competition.
I would like to say thank you to you and Matti for overlooking everything on the day and a big thank to Paul( I think that was his name :) ) who coordinated everything on the day.
Also a big thank you to Rocko( I think was his name ) who works in the bar. He was very patient with us the night before and trust me it wasn't a pretty scene :) a bunch of excited slightly drunk people who are quite high maintenance :)
Now a Massive Massive thank you to Michelle. I don't even know where to start. I know Michelle keeps making this excuse of everything was already arranged by Edel, and while I would also like to say Edel did a fantastic job, however I believe Michelle made it all come true.

Michelle was always there when I needed her. I can't remember one mail that lasted more than 15 mins before I got a response.
Michelle was always cheerful and pleasant and not once made me feel I was being pain. Which being a project manager I know I was and I don't envy her for having to deal with me. :) Her attention to detail was absolutely superb every single detail went as planned and even better on the day.
I could write pages about her great she was, she was absolutely fantastic.
Everyone in the hotel was great every single waiter and everyone in housekeeping too. All my family were blown away and I think some of them have sent feedback.
The food was excellent too and even better than the tasting and also the food in the bar the day before ad after was amazing.
Can't wait to come back and have a drink and a bite to eat.
