It was amazing to work together with Eimear and all of the team at the Stephen's Green Club for our wedding day this last weekend. I absolutely recommend them for any couples looking for a wedding sit-down dinner plus arrival drinks and a bit of partying afterwards on a lovely Georgian-style building.

We would highly recommend The Stephen's Green Club for your wedding. We had the ceremony and the celebration there.

In particular, high praise goes to the amazing Eimear Donnelly, as Events Co-ordinator. We knew from when we first Eimear that that it was going to be the right choice for us, but it was even better than we could have imagined. We were in the best of hands! Eimear is so organised...and most importantly...the depiction of calm and collected!

The entire team were brilliant from the outset, and in particular, on the day. They could not have done more for us. The venue is stunning. The food and service throughout the day was also exceptional.

So many of our guests have since told us, that it was the best wedding celebration they had ever attended. We had an amazing day from start to finish! Thanks again to Eimear and all the staff at the Stephen's Green Club.

We got married in the Stephen's Green Club in May 2023 and had a brilliant experience from start to finish. Eimear was our main wedding coordinator and was such a pleasure to deal with. All the staff were very helpful especially on the day. They could not have done enough for us both. The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable! The day flowed very well and they never put any pressure on us to hurry things along. Everything went at our pace. Our guests had a brilliant day and every single person remarked on what a wonderful venue and experience it was. We could not recommend the Stephen's Green Club anymore for a city wedding. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Both Helen and Eimear, who I dealt with in my cross Atlantic planning process from the States, were so extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had a wonderful wedding day thanks to the Stephen's Green Club. We wanted an intimate wedding venue with character, and as soon as I visited the SGC, I knew it was the right place for us. Our wedding co-ordinator Eimear was so professional and responsive, and all the SGC staff were friendly, helpful and discreet. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very looked-after and special thanks to the great team there. The venue looked wonderful on the day. Their excellent Chef even came to the rescue at the last minute when our wedding cake decoration did not go according to plan! He created a beautiful display for us with no fuss at all. I cannot recommend the SGC more highly.

Our September wedding at the Stephens Green club was a dream come true and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or day. We dealt with Helen Daly who was excellent in answering any questions we had and happy to accommodate anything we asked for. The venue was stunning and located right in the heart of the Dublin with some amazing photo opportunities at the Green opposite the club as well as urban/city pictures on the street. We had 80 people and the venue was the perfect size. We had our ceremony in the card room, drinks reception in the lovely courtyard and dinner in the gorgeous dining room. The food was amazing, the staff went over and above on service and we had so many people tell us that it was one of the best wedding venues that they had been to. I would definitely recommend the Club to anyone thinking of Dublin wedding.

What can we say ? the Stephen?s Green Club was absolutely brilliant in every way, and we are enormously grateful to Eimear and the whole team for the outstanding service and support from beginning to end. We are not exaggerating when we say that every single member of the team was really excellent to work with, and everyone took care of us in such a wonderful way! Our wedding at St Stephens Green Club couldn't have gone any better. The building is beautiful, staff were amazing and our guests raved about the food. If you are looking for an intimate and luxurious city centre wedding you have found the place.

Stephen's Green Club is the perfect intimate and stylish city centre venue for smaller weddings. We had 70 guests and chose to have both our ceremony and reception at the Club which accommodated us with ease and professionalism. The courtyard was ideal for the drinks reception and the Card Room transformed into a great dancefloor for the evening festivities.

The wedding planning process was seamless with the help of the team at The Stephen's Green Club. Any queries we had at any point during the planning process were answered comprehensively and quickly, meaning we weren't waiting for answers to facilitate plans with other suppliers.
We found the team very flexible and helpful in terms of planning the order of the day, the menu and the accommodation, which are the key components of any wedding! We began the day with a lunch and held an evening ceremony followed by music and dancing, and it worked wonderfully.
The venue itself is beautiful and requires minimal to no additional furnishing. Indeed, we relied entirely on the original appearance of the venue, which spoke for itself. It's also an ideal location for pictures, both within the venue and the surrounding area (e.g. Stephen's Green).
We would highly recommend the Stephen's Green Club to any other couples looking to tie the knot at a unique, classy and gorgeous venue.

Perfect venue for the small to medium wedding

My wife and I had our wedding in The Stephen's Green Club on the 29th December. From the moment we were met by the team, we felt so comfortable with them which really made it so much easier to select them to host our wedding.
We had booked our venue before COVID but Helen and the team were very patient and flexible with us and the ever changing circumstances we found ourselves in due to restrictions lifting and being reimposed. The confidence they gave us was so reassuring that we always knew they would do whatever they could to ensure that our wedding would be a magical experience.
Due to the travel restrictions, some members of our family were unable to attend our wedding but Helen and the team were very supportive in allowing me to organise a livestream of the ceremony. All supports were made available to aid us with this.
We could not recommend the club more, between the location, the history of the building and the pure class that emits from it all, it really adds something to the day. All of our guests loved the venue and grandeur of the club. We are so happy with choosing to have our wedding here. For ourselves, we wanted to feel comfortable and confident with our venue which we didn't feel with some other venues. The Stephen's Green Club ticked all the boxes and were a steady hand during our planning, you couldn't choose a better venue.

It?s hard to sum up just how special and perfect our wedding was in the Stephens Green Club. Helen is a superstar wedding coordinator so professional and experienced she made the process of planning a wedding (in less than 6 months in our case!) a breeze. We had the ceremony and reception in the club, it had everything we could have wanted and more- style, ambience and location accessible to our guests. We only ever viewed one venue. Can?t thank Helen and colleagues enough for making our dream day come true.

We recently had our wedding in The Stephen's Green Club and honestly had the best day of our lives. The Club, Helen and her team, were really great from the day we came to look at the venue, through the year of pandemic, and especially on the day of our wedding. They made the planning easy and stress free at every stage.

The location of the Club is brilliant, and it was one of the very few venues that could accommodate the ceremony, reception and the after party all in the one place. The rooms are beautiful, well proportioned, really charming, and the outdoor courtyard at the rear of the club was perfect for the drinks reception. The room where the ceremony took place was really beautiful and made a lovely backdrop to the photographs. The cosy bedrooms upstairs were available for us and also for the guests. The food was exceptional and we really enjoyed the menu tasting evening beforehand.

I honestly could not fault anything about the venue, or the team, and would recommend Stephen's Green Club.

We had an amazing day and the Stephens Green Club looked after us and our guests very well. We had drinks in the courtyard which was lovely and then our meal inside. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on it. Half of the wedding stayed the night in the club and we would definitely recommend this. The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious and the breakfast delicious!

The Stephen?s Green club was a wonderful venue for our wedding last month. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a very special celebration and our guests all had a great time. The food was super and the rooms we booked in the venue for ourselves and close relatives were ideal - very comfortable and reasonably priced too. The location is second to none, and we felt very lucky being able to get ready and wake up the next day in the middle of town. Helen was very helpful in tailoring everything to our needs and the whole organisation process was made very seamless. The club itself is an amazing building with lots of history, and the high ceilings, artwork and beautiful furnishings made everything feel very grand and really added to the occasion. Great for photographs too! Would highly recommend.

The Stephens Green Club was an excellent venue for our wedding. All the staff were so helpful from when we first made contact right to the end. They made it so easy for us. Helen Daly was the first contact we had and she was exceptional. The staff in the dining room were very attentive under the guidance of Sue Ann. Every one of the staff made it a very special day for us and our guests. Would thoroughly recommend this venue.

The Stephen's Green Club was a wonderful venue to host our wedding ceremony and reception afterwards. Helen and the team made it so easy and were very reassuring with all the changing regulations going on. The rooms were spectacular and the food was delicious. The couryard was the perfect spot for the post ceremony drinks reception. We had the most amazing day.

From the moment we met Helen and the SGC team we knew we had the perfect venue for our wedding. The answer to every question was 'no problem', even as we changed from 100, to 50 to 25 to 6 and back to 25 guests over the course of Covid19, as well as changing the date.
The meal was superb - everyone commented on the lamb particularly - and the service discreet and perfect.
Most of all, we felt our guests were completely safe and looked after at all times.
Our photographs are magnificent with such a lovely backdrop, and being able to stay over with our family made a huge difference, with hotels everywhere else closed.

We cannot thank the Stephens Green Club enough for all they did for us on our wedding day. Helen and the team went above and beyond to make our day special. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! The club is the perfect venue for smaller, intimate weddings and so safe in the current circumstances. When we first saw the Club, we always knew it was the venue for us. While our wedding was always going to have some low-key elements to it, we didn't realise quite how low-key and intimate it would be until Covid-19 hit, complete with a whole host of restrictions.

However, the Club's wedding coordinator, Helen Daly, literally led us by the hand and advised us every step of the way. Herself and the rest of the team made us feel so calm while planning our pandemic wedding and were so accommodating when we brought the wedding forward by five days as we were worried that restrictions would bring our guest list down to six.

Bronagh at the front desk was also an incredible help throughout the wedding, before, during and after. She arranged (and re-arranged) our rooms for us and for our immediate families, and the whole team took excellent care of the groom and his family the night before the wedding as well.

As for the day itself, even though not everyone could be there, it was nothing short of magical and we wouldn't change a thing. From the ceremony in the Hibernian Room to the drinks reception in the Card Room followed by dinner and our evening reception, everything was done to perfection. This is definitely a venue that needs no additional embellishments, the d?cor and overall attention to detail really does speak for itself and our guests are still raving about the food and staff. Helen, Bronagh, Recs, Aneta and the rest of the team couldn't have done more for us or our guests.

The location is also second to none for couples who want a Dublin City Centre wedding, as the park and Grafton St are both only a stone's throw away.

Any couple who chooses to get married here can rest assured that they will be incredibly well taken care of, won't need to worry about a thing on the day (pandemic or no pandemic) and will genuinely feel at home in the Stephen's Green Club, a venue that is steeped in both history and charm.

It is hard to describe how outstanding The Stephens Green Club team were in hosting our wedding. We found out with less than a week to go that our original venue could not host our wedding due to travel restrictions. This was disappointing initially but the minute I met with Ray (General Manager) and Helen (Wedding Coordinator) I knew the day was going to be even better than we had imagined. Ray and Helen were so accommodating and flexible in what could be done to make our wedding special and unique. With such a beautiful place we wanted to make the most of different areas in the Club. We had a lovely drinks reception in the stunning courtyard area. They have recently put up a gorgeous french style covering so that even on the worst days it would be cosy and intimate. We then had our ceremony in the historic Card Room. It was the perfect place for a smaller more more intimate ceremony. We moved into Hibernian Room for live music, drinks and canapes. All of the guests raved about how delicious these were. We also had the opportunity to take the bridal party over to the Stephens Green park where we managed to get some lovely pictures.
The starter, main and dessert was absolutely first class and everyone really enjoyed the food. Again the club were so flexible about what food we could have and added some additional choices for us last minute. The Chef Wayne is excellent and met with us personally to talk through the menu.
The Hibernian room is absolutely stunning and the perfect room for a smaller wedding. We choose one long table for twenty guests which was laid out beautifully with candelabras.
What we found to be really special was that the place felt like your own beautiful historic house. The Club caters really well to the covid guidelines in such a discreet manner so we never had any feeling that anyone was unsafe and spent the day not worrying about any protocols as they were all strictly but discreetly adhered to. I cannot recommend the Stephens Green Club enough for any type of event but especially for an intimate city wedding.

The event staff were well organized and were very accommodating to us.
The staff also worked well with the band and accommodated them as well.
We went with their recommendation for Camerino bakery for the cake and it was very well received and both the venue and bakery sorted everything between them.
On the day the event staff made everything smooth and there was absolutely no fuss.

Planning a wedding is hard, no question. Planning it when you're thousands of miles away from home (in Sydney, no less) can make it even harder. Unless, of course, you decide to have your wedding at The Stephen's Green Club in Dublin. From the minute we emailed the club enquiring about dates, to the morning after the wedding when we checked out and headed for our honeymoon, everything went perfectly. And we're talking, WITHOUT A HITCH. The Stephen's Green Club is the most wonderful place to get married ? it was everything we could have hoped for and more ? and Helen Daly is absolutely amazing. She helped us through the whole process (answering emails super-fast, allaying any fears we might have, sharing invaluable advice) and on our wedding day she was fantastic. Attentive, calm and kind ? she was a godsend and we don't know what we would have done without her. Bronagh Towler, the Front of House Manager is also amazing ? she looked after our accommodation and made everything so, so easy. Deciding to get married at The Stephen's Green Club was one of the best decisions we made about our day. The food was amazing, the staff incredible, the room beautiful, the location quintessentially Dublin and gorgeous ? there's not a single thing we'd change about that day. We're writing this review three weeks after getting married and we're still on a high. If you're looking for a wedding that is elegant, classic, exclusive and chic, we couldn't recommend The Stephen's Green Club highly enough.

The Stephen's Green Club were an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Laura was our event manager and she could not have been more helpful and professional. We visited the venue a number of times before our wedding date and all of the staff we encountered on each visit (as well as on the day itself) were so friendly and welcoming. On the day Laura & the team were an absolute godsend, they thought of absolutely everything and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was flawless. It was honestly the best day of our lives and we wouldn't change a thing. I would absolutely recommend The Stephen's Green Club to anyone who wants a cool, different city centre wedding.

We celebrated our wedding recently in the Stephen's Green Club and we had an absolutely fantastic day. The staff in the club really went above and beyond to make the day special and nothing was a bother. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The club its self is elegant and beautiful. We really loved that we could have our drinks reception in the courtyard- a real oasis in the middle of the city! The club is a fantastic city centre wedding venue, our guests had a fantastic day and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the club!

Our wedding at the Hibernian Club has already gone down in both our families' lore as the loveliest, most appropriate and special family event to date. The club has every element of wonderful 19th century order and sophistication with beautiful artwork and ornate ceiling plaster to marvel at but with an easy modern approach to convenience and hospitality. And just the right measure of creak in the floorboards so that you know it's real, bursting with fascinating history! The divine Helen held our hands throughout and we felt completely at ease with everything, thank you so much. Our group was small, about 40, and we had our two little girls with us in an upstairs suite for the night. Heaven. The staff were kind and courteous and the service was flawless with an incredible menu to choose from and the great Rex facilitating us at every turn, thanks again there. Myself and my new wife can hardly overstate what a unique venue this is and how brilliantly the wedding team managed everything. We had our wedding in the Hibernian Club on 26 January 2019. The task of organising a wedding is quite daunting but as soon as we met Helen and Laura we knew we were in safe hands. They guided us through the process and were always easily contactable. Bronagh organised rooms for our guests and was a pleasure to deal with. Rex and his team were at hand throughout the day and night - the service was second to none. The Hibernian Club is a perfect city centre venue for a smaller wedding group (we were 80). We found our wedding to be very personal and exactly to our taste. We highly recommend the Hibernian as a wedding venue!

I would definitely recommend the SGHC for anyone looking for a more intimate wedding venue. Karla and the team were just fantastic. They really went out of their way to sort out everything for us. The venue itself it just beautiful, with a classic old world feel. The food was delicious and really well presented, the options are very varied, and even the menu tasting evening was something a bit special. On the day we had no hassles or worries, the managers, Jamie and Recs, made sure everything ran like clockwork. We had the best day of our lives, and the team as SGHC made that possible. They even recommended the wedding photographer that we hired! Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful experience working with the team at the Stephens Green Hibernian Club. We are based in Canada and their team was great to reply to our emails and working to schedule calls that worked for both of us. Everything was very well organized leading up to the day and helped put us at east.
Our day of could not have gone any better, the service was great, as was all the food. Our guests were very pleased with how the evening went and marvelled at how lovely the venue was. Being able to have the ceremony, the drinks reception and the dinner and dancing all on one site was very key to us and we really enjoyed how we were able to have them in different rooms throughout the club rather than just have everyone in one big room for the entire day.
All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a city wedding, especially in months warm enough to use the back courtyard.

We had such a great wedding party in the hibernian club and what a beautiful building ,the food and service was top class and everyone was so friendly and helpful..

We chose the SGHC because it is a little hidden gem in the heart of the city. We loved how we could walk from the Church to the venue and that it has an outside courtyard. The building is steeped in history and the ceilings are fabulous and make for beautiful photographs. Nothing was too much trouble for the event team and all our guests mentioned how good the food was. (We had Beef & Cod - the older guests liked their meat well done!). It is great that you can build your own package and have your own add ons.
I got some beautiful photos on the grand staircase and in the card room. Thanks to the staff in the lead up to the big day!

We were married here in November 2017 and from our first inital visit everything was perfect. The venue itself is a beautiful intimate space and really creates a warm and friendly atmosphere for your day. All of the staff were amazing and were happy to help us in any way they could. I honestly couldn't find fault with the Hibernian club from the fantastic food to the atentive friendly staff. Don't look any further for an intimate city wedding. The value for money is astounding & because they don't have a large volume of weddings per year you really get the attention that your wedding deserves from a team that can take the time to focus on your day.

St Stephan's Green Club offered us a 5 star full dining experience on the day. The guests were so hugely impressed by the quality of the dinner service and as were we by the attention to detail from both Jamie (operatons manager) and Linda who supported us on our big day. The club's accommodating manner and attentive response made this a premier venue for a wedding day. The florals on the day transformed this venue - and we can't wait for our photos to arrive!

I couldn't fault the St Stephen's Green Hibernian Club. Lynda Roche is just so calm and capable and she has a wonderful team around her - nothing was a problem for them. We had a magical day, without any fuss. The rooms were set up exactly as we wished and worked well. Of course, the food was terrific too.

Our wedding in the Hibernian was perfect in every way and we would like to thank everyone involved for making our wedding so memorable. The day really went exactly as we had pictured and that was primarily due to the hard work and dedication of the Hibernian staff. We would not have changed one single thing on the day.

So many of our guests commented on how lovely and attentive all of the staff were. Everything on the day ran so smoothly. A note of thanks to Rex and Jamie in particular. We could see that Jamie was overseeing the canap?s and dinner which helped everything run so well. Both Rex and Jamie were so calm on the day and nothing phased them which added to the relaxed feel which we wanted.

Our guests had such a brilliant day and absolutely loved the venue, food and the warm welcome. There is nowhere else in Dublin that can offer such a beautiful view of St. Stephen's Green in such a magnificent dining room. The sense of history in the building just added to the wonderful atmosphere.

From the beginning to the end of our wedding the Staff in the Hibernian Club very professional. We live in Australia and we found the whole process seamless. The team in the club were all so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the wedding everything was superb and the rooms looked amazing. The venue is an outstanding example of Georgian Dublin. It really is a beautiful building with lots of history and looks fantastic in photos. The food and the service was of a very high standard. The moment we walked into the Stephen?s Green Hibernian Club, we knew it was the venue for us?.simple as that! The charm of the guest rooms, the elegance and functionality of the building, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff won us over almost instantaneously. In the following months, the Club was very responsive to our many questions and requests. They were flexible and only too happy to help accommodate us. Any minor issues we had were addressed and cleared up quickly. All of this meant we had minimal stress planning our wedding.

The day itself was magical, despite bus strikes and heavy rain in Dublin! This was largely due to the team at the Hibernian Club who really looked after us. The fires were on, the Club was immaculate and Jamie and the team were there to deal with every little thing?.including waiting at the door with umbrellas to shelter us from the elements. The reception in the Guest Dining Room was wonderful ? free-flowing Prosecco, punch and Pimms, generous canap?s, string quartet accommodated and a warm environment kept our guests more than satisfied. The meal upstairs in the Guest and Reading Rooms, joined together for the day to accommodate our numbers, was heavenly. The chef, Wayne, produced consistently exquisite food, course after course. The wines we chose, with Jamie?s help, complemented the meals perfectly. The staff serving us that day, during the reception, meal, at the bars, and throughout the Club were exceptionally courteous, polite and kind to us and our guests.

We were delighted to find the Stephen?s Green Hibernian Club such a welcoming and adaptable venue, given the building?s location and history. On the day, we felt very secure because of the team?s attention to detail and Jamie?s management. Before the wedding, in particular Bronagh, Vanessa and Sharon guided us through arrangements in a reassuring and professional manner. We had our wedding ceremony in the Card Room in SGHC on July 25th 2014. The food and drinks reception was held in the front room overlooking St. Stephen's Green. We were familiar with the club as Criona's dad is a member there. We loved the idea of getting married in such a historic and elegant building situated right in the heart of the city.

From day one, Ray, Karen and the team in SGHC were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel relaxed. Nothing was a problem for them. All queries were dealt with promptly.



On the day itself, the place looked immaculate and everything we requested was in place. The whole day ran like clockwork and the food and drinks were delicious.



SGHC is a special place and we are so happy that we chose it as our wedding venue. We would highly recommend it as a venue.

Our wedding reception at The Stephen?s Green Hibernian Club left us with wonderful memories that we will treasure forever. All of our guests commented on what a wonderful venue it was and what a great day they had at the club. Many of them had never been to a wedding in Dublin city before and that made our wedding a special occasion for everyone. Our main reason for choosing the club was its unique setting in the heart of the city and its wonderfully elegant surroundings. However, what really made the day special was the service and attention to detail from all the staff at the club. They couldn?t do enough for us. We were put at easy from day one and made feel so relaxed and at home at the club. The food was exquisite and it was really special to have our wedding meal with the beautiful St Stephen?s Green as our backdrop.

We live in California and had our wedding at the SGCH last summer. I couldn't speak highly enough of the care, thoughtfulness and attention to detail which all the staff gave to our day and the nerves that Emma soothed from so far away with her calmness, warmth and exquisite attention to detail. The elegance of this beautiful building, combined with the warm hospitality, delicious food and wine and the genuine pride which each staff member takes in working in such a beautiful club, ensures that any occasion held here, will be a special and unforgettable one. Nothing is any trouble to the wonderful staff at the SGCH and I heartily recommend the Club for your wedding. The card room is a delightful place for a reception. I wish could host all my important family events here.
