We got married in Tulfarris in Sept 2025. From our first viewing we knew it was the perfect place for us, not only are the grounds beautiful but every member of staff we met were fantastic, nothing was ever a problem.
In the lead up to our big day Honora was amazing in helping us with the planning and the reception staff were also fantastic with any queries we had with booking rooms.
On the day then Derek & the wedding team were just phenomenal, every little thing was thought of. The food service was quick and organized as was the bar service and Derek was always there on hand if we needed anything! One of the main things our guests mentioned after the day was how amazing all the staff were.
The food over the whole weekend was brilliant, we went with the sandwiches for the drinks reception and they were perfect, the dinner service was impressive & delicious and our day 2 BBQ was the same!
We really couldn't recommend Tulfarris enough for your wedding venue!

We hosted our wedding at Tulfarris on Saturday, 16th August, and from the outset we were blown away by the professionalism we encountered. Organising the wedding from Kerry meant that Honora and her team had to be especially accommodating, and they went above and beyond to facilitate meeting days and times in person.
The vibrant summer flowers and the stunning surroundings were impeccably kept and added to the atmosphere.The staff were amazing over the whole weekend- attentive, friendly, and good craic! Honora and her team made the entire planning process seamless and always had a solution for everything. We will be forever grateful for the care Honora and her team showed us in bringing our wedding to life. We would highly recommend Tulfarris as a wedding venue to any couple.

From start to finish, everything ran so beautifully and smoothly, and it’s all thanks to the phenomenal team at Tulfarris. We truly had the best day - it was beyond anything we had hoped for, and our only wish is that we could relive it all again (or that the day had been just a little bit longer!).

Every staff member’s warmth, generosity and calm attention to every detail did not go unnoticed and we felt so well looked after throughout the entire day. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made everything feel so effortless and special.

Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the venue - the courtyard, the setting, the beautiful manor house - it was all utterly magical. The food was also a major highlight - people are still talking about how delicious everything was!

We got married on 27th June and had our reception in Tulfarris. From the first time meeting Honora and the staff, we were made to feel at ease. They were relaxed and organised in every sense. Anything we asked for was accommodated with no hassle at all. The staff on the day were very professional and accommodating. We had Derek & Zoe with us throughout the day, and they were amazing. The venue was extremely well presented, food was amazing, and all our guests had the most amazing time as did we.

From the moment we first stepped foot into Tulfarris, we knew it was the venue for our wedding day. From the picturesque views to the warm greeting from all the staff, everything was just perfect!

From booking to the big day, nothing was an issue. Honora and the team made the process so seamless that we kept asking ourselves when the stress would kick in but it never did! The team handled everything to perfection.

As for the big day itself, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting in the courtyard with guests saying it felt like they were in Tuscany to stepping back in time for the reception in the Manor House.

We also want to say a big thank you to Derek and the staff for their work on the day. Nothing was an issue and everyone was complimenting the friendly staff on the efficiency especially when catering for 110 people.

From the moment we stepped into Tulfarris for a viewing until we left after our Day 2 celebration, we were treated with kindness by every single staff member we encountered. Tulfarris was a dream to work with from start to finish. No question went unanswered, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Since the wedding, every person we’ve spoken to has echoed the same praises—fabulous staff, amazing food, beautiful setting, and immaculate grounds.

A venue like Tulfarris requires a talented team, and they have that in abundance. From the wedding planning team and accommodation management to groundskeeping, cleaning, waiting and bar staff, hotel management, reception, and kitchen teams, it's clear that every individual cares deeply and is passionate about their role. Each is an essential part of a smoothly running operation.

We had both our ceremony and reception in Tulfarris and we were so happy with how seamless the day ran. The Manor House for the drinks reception was just fabulous and getting the opportunity to have it the next day for our day 2 celebration was amazing- we got very lucky!

We have to mention a few people who made our day extra special:
Honora is exceptionally talented at what she does. She was amazing and so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, there was no stone left unturned and always followed up on everything. You always feel at ease as you know you’re in good hands. Ann Marie in accommodation, a pleasure to deal with and despite many requests for updated lists was always so kind and obliging.
All the waiting and bar staff were fabulous from the Friday night we arrived at the bar until breakfast on Monday morning, there is a great team. I do have to mention the lovely Bella who looked after us at the top table on the big day. Such a lovely girl who looked after us so well. Derek and Arnold both ran our big day seamlessly. Arnold was especially kind to my little nephew who was feeling the nerves before walking down the aisle. Derek’s approach was impeccable—he kept everything running smoothly, always present when needed, but never intrusive. We would have been lost without him.

I can’t recommend Tulfarris enough, it is the perfect setting for a wedding and between the Manor House, hotel and ballroom area backdropped by the stunning lakes it’s like your own little world for one of the biggest days in your life. We can’t sing their praises highly enough.

Great experience working with tulfarris staff, they are so accommodating from the start, for any extra ceremony we wanted like the tea ceremony and dealing with the cake. Very patient, never felt we are asking too much.

We simply cannot compliment all of the staff enough. From being so easy to communicate with in the lead up to the wedding, answering any questions we had and obliging to our requests all the way to the night before, day of and day after our wedding, everyone was a true professional.

Everyone we met was so welcoming and excited to share our special few days.

The night before we requested a rail for our dresses and suits, access to the banquet room and ceremony room - all of which the staff happily helped with.

They also repeatedly asked if we needed any assistance or help.

On the day of our wedding, the staff were exceptional. It's clear that they are seasoned pros, well trained and pay significant attention to detail (even with the torrential rain)

Arnold in particular, made sure our day ran so smoothly, kept us at ease (even offering me some words of encouragement when I was getting emotional before walking down the aisle) helped keep our Irish dancers as a surprize for Karen without her suspecting a thing, catered to the top table with such care and also made our day really enjoyable with his natural upbeat personality and fun outlook.

Everyone has mentioned how the staff operated so smoothly that you would not even know they were there.

Please pass on our thank you to each and every person who was part of our day.

The food, decorations, hotel, banquet and ceremony rooms will be hard to beat. We have never stayed in such a beautiful place.

The rain made no difference because we had so many options for our photographs which was a huge relief.

We cannot thank you and all of the staff enough, well done on being such a well oiled and professional group.

Amazing location for our wedding. Was our best decision having it at Tulfarris and also having our second day's food and drinks. So much to compliment: fantastic scenery and views, separated from hotel for intimacy but access to the many hotel rooms for our wedding party, Manor House wowed us and our guests from the private bar to the luxurious bedrooms, food was stunning, everybody loved the quality of the breakfast especially with view of the golf course, staff were faultless and so attentive and obliging- shout out to Derek leading a fantastic team.

My husband and I got married at Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort on 17th August 2024 and it was without a doubt, the best day of our lives! From our initial viewing of Tulfarris back in February 2023, we knew straight away it was "the one". The hotel is beautiful and suited the sort of wedding we were looking for perfectly, a large wedding! The grounds surrounding the hotel are stunning, the staff are incredibly attentive, friendly and can't do enough for you, and the food is honestly out of this world.

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Tulfarris! From the date we first visited, right up until our wedding day, Honora, Kate and the rest of the wedding team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect!

We would recommend Tulfarris as a wedding venue to anyone in a heartbeat! A beautiful venue and grounds, stunning golf course and Blessington Lake views, incredible food and amazing staff.

I got married here on 19th July 2024. I couldn't fault a single thing. The staff, the food, the venue itself were all fabulous and amazing. I'm so glad we chose this hotel. It was only our 2nd hotel to view and we fell in love with the place. Honora & Kate were amazing though it all. So helpful and friendly. The food on the day was outstanding. All of my guests were raving about it and still are. Booking Tulfarris for out wedding was the best decision we made and I can't wait to go back for our 1st Anniversary next year.

Kate and all in Tulfarris went over and above to ensure that our day was truly special. Kate was such a pleasure to deal with in the run up to the wedding & ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day. Tulfarris is a spectacular venue in a stunning location but it's the amazing staff we can't praise enough - they took such great care of us all weekend, all of our guests raved about them and the fabulous service we received. The cherry on top - the gorgeous food! We can't wait to go back!

From the moment we met with Kate and signed the dotted line we felt as such ease. No email or call was left unanswered and was always dealt with the utmost professionalism and friendliness. It genuinely felt as if we were all friends and Tulfarris wanted our day to be as great as we did.
Each time we attended Tulfarris be it just for a look or for dinner or golf each and every staff member was competent, friendly, professional and so kind to us and our young daughter. All our guests remarked not only on the venue itself and the quality of food but also on how friendly and fantastic all of the staff were. They were so present and attentive but not intrusive whatsoever, all requests were honoured with no hassle whatsoever at all stages before, during and after the wedding. The guest rooms were second to none, we are just back from our honeymoon in a five star hotel and even we said we would rate Tulfarris above anywhere else we have been. The rooms are stunning and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The food quality and quantity was remarkable and the price point was so budget friendly. Anyone we have spoken to since has already planned another trip to Tulfarris to eat there again. Two guests even gave the highest possible compliment and said if they could they will just copy and paste everything because it was honestly faultless and flawless.

From the very first visit to the venue to the final goodbye after the excitement the Tulfarris staff were nothing but wonderful! From the housekeeping to the wedding coordinators all were so nice and helpful! No question was silly, no request was too much! They were flawless and as a result we were super relaxed and really enjoyed our day! The venue was like a dream and the food was incredible! Months later our friends and family are still talking about the food! The staff and the venue made our day more than we could have dreamed of! Couldn't recommend Tulfarris enough!!

What an amazing 2 days we had in Tulfarris to celebrate our wedding. Honora and Kate were our contacts in the run up to the big day and were so helpful and friendly in any questions we had. The day itself was perfect and special thanks to Derek who couldn't be more helpful and generous to us and our guests. We received so many compliments on the food, service, rooms and overall atmosphere of the beautiful location. All the staff are so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Tulfarris if you are planning your wedding. If I could do it all over again I would! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding so thank you so much.

Tulfarris was the first venue we viewed, and we instantly fell for it. We loved the beautiful scenery and serene location. We really liked having the Manor House to have a private wedding event exclusive to us and our guests but with the convenience and facilities of the hotel - it's really the best of both. We thought the Manor House was beautiful and the rooms were luxurious, and that the dining room and the bar were nicely decorated and inviting. It was lovely to have full use of the Manor House - bar, bedrooms, and sitting rooms. We enjoyed the privacy and comfort of the house. We also liked the spacious ceremony room with nice vistas. Kate was very approachable, lovely to deal with and we had confidence in her. Overall, our wedding was three days in Tulfarris (including predinner and drinks the night before, day of, and day two celebrations) and it was fantastic. The front desk / accommodation team were very helpful and considerate of requests, the bar staff and dining staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. On the day, the food was presently impeccably and tasted absolutely delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and their service was flawless. Everything went so smoothly, and was beyond what we could have expected. Fabulous.

We held our wedding at Tullfarris House in September of 2022. From the second we drove onto the grounds we knew that it was everything we could have ever wanted. From there the feeling was ever increasing as we went through the process of planning our day. Kate and Hanora were our two main points of contact with the hotel during the organisation and without hesitation they made every effort to provide us with the perfect day. They showed a great deal of flexibility while still remaining professional.
As for the day itself, we cannot put into words how amazing the staff were. Both from our perspective and the guest's. Almost everyone invited passed comment on the service both during the drinks reception and meal. Throughout the day we were regularly being checked on to make sure everything was to our liking and this made us feel at ease that no matter what happened, there was a team at the ready to rectify any problems.
The venue, team and day in general were perfect throughout.

We cannot thank the staff enough for their service and care for our wedding. They all truly went above and beyond to make sure our day went as smoothly as it could. There was no task too big for them. Every single guest has told us what a great day they had, and the food was incredible and service fantastic. I wish we could do it all again, but as guests to experience it as they did..

Cant thank guys enough in Tulfarris for making my day as special as it was. Tulfarris was a dream to get married in. Everything from the loaction, to the venue, to the food was phenomenal. I actually haven't the words to thank Honora for the amazing job she does. She really helped with the whole process. And on the day itself Derek was fantastic - he really made sure everything was thought of and done to such a high standard.
All I can say is that if you are thinking of Tulfarris as your venue - you will not be disappointed!

We got married at Tulfarris in March 2022. We had postponed once and Honora and her team couldn't have done any more to facilitate everything. Nothing we asked for was a problem and they were very quick to answer any queries. Everyone at our wedding commented on the service on the night and the friendliness of the staff. On top of all of this, it's a beautiful venue and the Manor House is exactly what we were looking for. The grounds are stunning and it's a great spot for your photos, both inside and outside the venue. We really couldn't recommend it enough!

Everything was looked after as a couple we didn't stress at all and Hanorah done a fabulous job on planning exactly what we wanted on our day.

A long overdue wedding review!
I don't have words to describe how perfect our day was, but let me try!

We booked our wedding in May 2021 for November 2021! We went to view Tulfarris as a possible option but fell in love and decided to go for it! (With 6 months to prepare) the very lovely Kate brought us around that day, and helped us envision exactly how our day would be, how everything would flow and all that would be done for us!

We booked our wedding tasting and an overnight stay approx 2 months before hand and honestly it was the best decision ever, we fell in love with Tulfarris even more, we were spoiled from start to finish, lots of stunning food and drink!

We then got to meet the wonderful Honora, whom I had haunted via email for several months with all my silly questions - although she never made me feel any question was too small or silly! Honora walked around with us, reassuring me, granting every single request I presented her with! She just made me feel so relaxed, yet excited for our upcoming big day!

I know this all sounds like the small stuff, but service like that, and people like those coming up to your biggest day, just cannot be beaten!

Fast forward to the eve of our wedding, we were greeted by the gentleman that is Derek, he greeted me and my bridal party, and made sure we were treated like royalty as soon as we entered the hotel! He was there to make sure I was relaxed, and knew exactly what was happening on the morning of!

Honora came to meet me and reassure me yet again, I shared with her the week before that I had found out I was pregnant but early days so I needed non alcoholic Prosecco to be given to me discreetly, of course she pulled this off without question!

Finally our big day was here, it couldn't have been more perfect start to finish!
A beautiful breakfast in the room for me and my bridesmaids while we got ready, Derek checked in to let us know he was there for any thing we needed!

My ceremony was absolutely stunning - I still can't believe what's included decor wise in Tulfarris weddings! I didn't add anything to the ceremony as I felt it was just so perfect as it was!

Then over to the Manor for our reception, where I was handed my non alcoholic drinks very discreetly, by the amazing Natasha! Little did I know at that point how big a part she would play in ensuring my day flowed perfectly, that everyone was where they were supposed to be and that there were no hiccups - and if there were, that I never knew about them!

The food was not at all what you would expect from a wedding, it exceeded all expectations and all other wedding standards! Still to this day I receive so many compliments on the food, and how it was one of the nicest meals anyone had previously had! I was beyond blown away by the dining experience!

The package also included lots of finger food into the night, not one person was left hungry, and for those with dietary requirements the chef went above and beyond to cater for all those needs!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all that made it the most memorable, relaxed, beautiful day I ever could have imagined

I don't think I'll ever fully be able to express how perfect my wedding experience with Tulfarris was, how beautiful my day was, how helpful and kind the team were, and how comfortable and relaxed my stay was? but what I can do is highly recommend any couple looking for a venue.. get married the Tulfarris way. A wedding with a difference.

We first seen Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort at one of their wedding showcases. We loved the Manor House but also wanted something modern and Tulfarris was the perfect blend of this. Honora and Kate both were a great help with all the planning and recommendations. Natasha and the staff on the night of our wedding were very professional and super helpful with everything. Our guests are still talking about the food. We had the menu tasting with our parents and it was a lovely way to include them in the planning. We had a meal in the restaurant the night before our wedding and I would highly recommend it. Just make sure the options are different to what you have selected for your wedding meal. We also continued the celebrations in the hotel the day after the wedding and it was so lovely to relax and not rush off. With Covid restrictions we had to alter our original package slightly but we were able to spread out the extras over the two days. The staff were very accommodating with this so we did not miss out on anything on our original package. Overall we had an incredible experience and will always recommend Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort.

Tulfarris the best decision we ever made.Tulfarris is local to where I grew up so we went to visit it as a wedding venue. Honora the wedding coordinator is amazing at what she does so professional.In Covid times she went over & above with her help.
The staff on the day the manager was so efficient & lovely, the staff were so respectful & good at their job.And the chef wow wow he/she doesnt get enough praise this person needs a pay raise.....everyone was so well fed & guests had such great compliments to the chief please let him know!!!
The manor house my in laws said the room was like living like Royalty for the night huge room, bath & facilities. Thank you for everything cant wait to return.

The best thing we did was choose Tulfarris as our wedding venue. It was outstanding from start to finish. The location and grounds are beautiful. The Manor House was a fantastic addition to the day and the function room and bar met all of our needs. The food is absolutely delicious! To say the staff in Tulfarris are exceptional still doesn't do them justice. They really were incredible and we were so well looked after by the whole team, Honora, Derek and Natasha in particular. All of our friends and family were blown away by the whole weekend in Tulfarris and we simply could not have had a better time there. We would highly recommend it!!

A beautiful venue for a wedding with a superb wedding planning team who responded to all of our queries very quickly.
The costs add up quickly if you want to upgrade your package, add extra drinks/canapes etc.

My husband and I absolutely loved every minute of our day at Tulfarris for our wedding. We had the most spectacular day. Everything was perfect from start to finish and the food was absolutely amazing all of our guests said the same. The staff here go above and and beyond to make your day so special and I would highly recommend Honora and her team for planning your big day we couldn't thank her enough she really was fantastic. If you are thinking of booking Tulfarris for your wedding then go for it you won't be disappointed.

Tulfarris, well what can we say. From the moment we contacted Sharon & Honora about our wedding in January 2018 they were amazing! We were quite apprehensive, with both of us living in the UK and planning a wedding from abroad along with having such a short amount of time (8 months!) and the team at Tulfarris could not have been more helpful. We unfortunately could not go to view the venue before setting the date, but Sharon kindly took my Mom and Sister around, so they could take videos for us and give us an idea of what to expect should we go ahead. The best decision we made was choosing Tulfarris for our day.

In the lead up, Sharon and Honora answered every e-mail and question we had, and there were a lot! Everything felt so relaxed we were waiting for something to go wrong, how could planning a wedding be so easy? Tulfarris are an extremely professional venue and the day prior and the day after our wedding, there were more weddings being hosted which to us is a sign of the ability the venue has to churn out the weddings yet make the day feel like you're the only thing that matters.

We had our tasting in May, and were shown through all of the options, with some additional items such as pimp my prosecco, sorbets, ensuring our menu choices were made with full knowledge of what was available. The staff all had such full knowledge of the menu and were able to explain every element to us with such confidence. Tulfarris were very patient and accommodating with all our requests - even suggesting things we perhaps wouldn't have thought of.
The food was sensational on the day, all our guests were pleased with the menu and we catered to many different tastes, vegans, vegetarians and coeliac's.

There was so much flexibility about how the day went, we chose to have a pig on a spit in the evening, and Tulfarris kindly moved the evening food to be part of the Drinks reception. Everybody raved about the food! Some saying it was the best wedding meal they have ever had, and we couldn't agree more. It's the little details that really make a difference, bringing my grandparents up and down from the hotel to the manor house in the golf buggy, going out of your way to get cucumber for behind the bar when there was none left in stock
The morning of the wedding, we got ready in the Manor House. Cathriona was going to be looking after me for the day and bless her she hadn't even had a chance to change before my bridesmaids had some jobs for her! She really was a godsend to have around, making sure we got everywhere we needed to go, even down to the lake in the rain, offering me her jacket so I wouldn't get soaked and she would, she really could not have done more for us and it made the day so relaxed and enjoyable.


Alison, Kasia, Cathriona, we honestly cannot thank you enough for all the work you put in on our day, you were seamless. Nothing was a problem, everything was perfect and the three of you were an absolute pleasure to have with us on our day and we will never forget it!
We also put on a BBQ (indoors due to the rain!) on the Saturday, and again the food was impeccable. So tasty and made for a great end to our weekend.
We could not recommend Tulfarris enough. The setting, the staff, it really is in our eyes the perfect Venue. We?re just sad it's all over now, but we will be back to visit, and cannot wait!

We knew this is where we would have our wedding reception from the moment we walked through the reception of Tulfarris. The staff were friendly and the reception felt homely with the gorgeous smell of turf coming from the fire that welcomed us.

On the day of our wedding the service we received was faultless. Our guests raved, and are still raving about how great the food was and rightly so. The food served in Tulfarris is amazing! On the visits we made beforehand to Tulfarris we always fitted in time to enjoy a meal either in the Lime Tree restaurant or the Elk bar and we were never disappointed. We were confident that the meal we and our guests would receive on the 27th of August would be perfect, it was.

A number of guests also commented on how lovely their servers were on the day of the wedding. This is something we were never going to be in doubt about. Tulfarris have the most approachable, accommodating staff we've ever come across and this has made our wedding planning all the more fun. They really couldn't have done enough for us.
Sharon looked after us from our first meeting at the hotel until we walked through the doors as husband and wife. She was more than accommodating with all of our queries and requests, nothing was too much for her. When the day of our wedding arrived I knew I didn't have to worry about the reception.
Laura greeted us the day before our wedding to leave off centrepieces, the cake and some decorations. She was so reassuring that everything would be just as we had asked and she was true to her word. Our reception was laid out just as we had envisaged.
One member of staff, we feel, who deserves particular mention is Sarah. She was so helpful when I, the bride, was having a little struggle picking the menu for the wedding, she also ran around like a headless chicken when I asked about certain wines. Nothing was too awkward for her and she met us at the barbecue the day after with a smile and willing as ever to deliver the top class service we have become familiar with at Tulfarris.

Being from Co. Down we knew it was a gamble asking our guests to travel so far for our reception. They were not put off and nor were they disappointed. We have already heard many discussing their return to Tulfarris having enjoyed their stay the night of our wedding so much. The rooms are modern, airy and comfortable. Our family and friends were very impressed with the quality of the accommodation.

We had the full use of the Manor House for the day of our wedding and the day after, these rooms are amazing. Each one decorated individually with beautiful period style furniture.
Having the barbecue in the Manor House bar couldn't have worked out better for us. Our guests were able to stay together all day and my nephews were safe to go between the bar, living rooms and their bedroom on their own, which allowed their parents to relax and enjoy the day knowing their family were secure in the privacy of the house.

We are already planning our next visit to Tulfarris and confident this hidden gem will become our retreat for years to come.

We had our wedding here and it was the most magical day.This hotel was outstanding in every sense, from the day we booked it until the day we got married, the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were so so nice, and the food was AMAZING. We got married at Tulfarris in 23rd June 2018. What can I say... from start to finish the hotel staff went above and beyond for us. Right from our very first viewing we were treated well. We found the hotel very accommodating with our requests and very quick at getting back to any questions/queries we had. Honora was our wedding co-ordinator and she was absolutely fantastic to deal with-so helpful in anyway way possible.

All our guests were raving about the place from the amazing food to the service, the views and the whole experience. They all said it felt like they were in a foreign country.

I got married in Tulfarris on the 16th of November. While there were a few ups and downs on the day I cannot fault the venue. It was without a doubt a magical day. Every need or want is met in an appropriate manner and every task is completed as though it is their own special day. The pride and joy exhibited by the staff is phenomenal. We cannot thank the staff of Tulfarris enough for the service they provided on our Wedding Day. The whole day was incredible and every member of staff involved could not do enough for us.

We have to mention a few people by name. First of all, our wedding co-ordinator Honora. Everything we asked of Honora she did for us, no matter how big or small. She spent hours on the phone with us helping us plan our day and as we were planning everything from the UK this was a massive help. Not only was she our wedding co-ordinator but through all the planning became a friend. Another great help to us was Kate. Kate was so helpful especially in the days leading up to the wedding. She was around whenever we needed her and put our minds at ease with our little last minute panics! We could never write this review without also mentioning Melissa, Arnold, Ann-Marie and Sharon. They all played different roles but put in so much effort to ensure we had the best day.

The food, from the canapés to every course of the meal to the evening food, was unbelievable. Both the quality and quantity were perfect and every single guest mentioned how impressed they were with the service and the food itself.

If you are getting married and thinking of having it at Tulfarris you will not be disappointed. We can't recommend this venue enough and we feel so lucky that we were able to spend the best day of our lives in such an amazing place.

Sharon and Hanora were just fantastic any questions queries or worries that we had were dealt with so efficiently and with no hassle. The venue was stunning and we loved every minute of our day with them.

So many people loved the food. Nearly everyone ate slow cooked beef. We had fish and it was lovely. I would recommend having a tasting and giving feedback as we had a few changes we wanted made, which were confirmed and food was as requested on the day. I would carefully check emails re agreements as we noticed we had to ask for things to be corrected a lot and make sure all is correct before signing. Very flexible, accommodating and professional staff and would recommend taking manor house too as it's gorgeous.

We were married at Tulfarris last week so it was a January wedding. We booked it from abroad. We had such an incredible time on the day and the venue went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. From putting on some music for guests the night before the wedding, to putting out our last minute decorations the day before, to the little touches like bringing seconds of food around for guests and making sure that scott and I had some time to ourselves before we went into the reception. The food was gorgeous, service was excellent, all the staff friendly and accomodating, and the venue itself was just stunning. We stayed in the manor house the night before and of the wedding which was really special as the groom and groomsmen as well as bride and bridesmaids could get ready in stunning rooms. The wedding coordinators were always helpful and courteous whether it be by email phone or in person. And made it the most special and happy day of our lives. It's hard to put into words how fantastic our day was at Tulfarris Hotel. From our first appointment to our day the team are professional, courteous, friendly and overall a great pleasure to deal with. We had our wedding reception at Tulfarris on Dec 15th 2016. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. The grounds are beautiful,the manor house (which we had booked the night before and night of the wedding) looked amazing decorated for Christmas. Our wedding guests raved about how amazing the food was. The best feature of this hotel by far however was the staff. In particular Arnold, Melissa, Sharon and AnnMarie. They couldnt do enough for us and our guests (including sourcing the particular brand of vodka I drink because they happened to overhear me mentioning it the night before). although ours was the first of 3 weddings they hosted that week, we never felt rushed and it was obvious that all the staff were committed to making our day exceptional.

We got married in Tulfarris in November and I can't say enough about this venue and the staff. You have the best of both worlds with the Manor House and the Hotel. The Manor House was so cosy on our arrival with the fires lit. The food was fantastic, with many of our guests complimenting same. The wedding coordination team were fantastic from start to finish. They do everything for you and nothing was too much for them. We had an absolute ball and I'd highly recommend Tulfarris as a wedding venue.

We had our wedding in Tulfarris in September and found them fantastic to deal with and a wonderful choice of wedding venue only 40 minutes from Dublin, from great organisation to helpfulness the staff are amazing, especially Honora the wedding coordinator, Ann-Marie in the hotel accommodation department and Derek the operations manager. We had or wedding in Tulfarris on the 14th Aug 2016. I have to say that from the time we booked the venue , till the day that we checked out after the wedding all the staff could not have done more for us. Never once was there a problem with any requests we had. On the day of the wedding we were treated like we were the most important people in the world and everyone attended to our every need. All our guests commented on how good the service was and the meal was first class too.The overnight stay for our guests was also very good value,the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was also really lovely. Everyone from the bar staff to the managers helped make our day one will will never forget. We would highly recommend Tulfarris to anyone getting married, you wont regret it!!!.We could not thank everyone enough for a wonderful happy day!!!!

I would highly recommend Tulfarris hotel and golf resort for a wedding the location is beautiful, The venue has a gorgeous manor house with the function room just off a beautiful courtyard. The staff were so helpful in our wedding preparations and on our day. Food on the day was amazing and all our guest thought the same.

We had the most wonderful wedding day in Tulfarris. The staff really helped it to make it stress free, hassle free and so much fun! We had a fantastic day on aug 1st 2016. The staff were extremely helpful. However after putting so much effort into the venue decor and planning it all to tie in together...most of my decor was not put out on tables and in bathrooms and courtyard...and was all left in storage room...and some decor was not even there. Someone else must have taken them which is not very professional.
That was the only issue I had and on the day I did notice but didnt say anything as was too late at that stage.
The guests had a fantastic day..loved the food..views..and staff. This hotel is rated as a four star..but it deserves the final and fifth star! Highly recommend.

We cannot recommend Tulfarris Hotel to other couples more. When we visited the resort (our first place to seriously visit after getting engaged ) my husband's words were "Ok this is so perfect I think if you want to visit other places it has to be better than this". Agreed!
The staff all over the resort from the bar and reception to the phenomenal team of banqueting staff are just so friendly and seem to really love their jobs! Special mention has to go to Arnold who, not only downloaded our entrance song after a forgitten playlist problem, but he also whisked us away in a golf cart with our photographer and videographer for some night time shots and delivered us back with speed.

The food in Tulfarris is unparalleled at any wedding we gave attended ourselves. All of our guests were full of praise for the quality and speed at which the food was delivered.

The manor house is beautiful. Yet, with the hotel on site, there are tonnes of bedrooms for guests.

I feel as if Tulfarris has everything we could have asked for and so much more. The grounds, the courtyard, the food, the staff all made for just the most amazing day for ourselves and our guests.

I really love this hotel and the mix of the old manor house (you pay extra for this 1000)and the new hotel. The staff and the food were amazing all my guest commented on the dinner and service I only had one problem in that they wanted to be paid in full a week before the wedding i didn't see this in the contract and felt it's wasn't pointed out enough by the wedding planner but once we talked it out they were understanding and it all went of without a hitch on the big day
Also I work for a special school and some of the children came down to see me of on the big day the nurses could not speak highly enough of the staff that helped them organize to get there on time and there helpfulness on the day the staff and service are really what make this place what it is and the gorgeous lake and golf course help to ????????????

The hotel could not have been more helpful and attentive, both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Nothing was too much and all staff we encountered were friendly, willing to help and smiling - excellent customer service. In particular Honora was fantastic, answering the many questions we had and always available to chat in person, over the phone or by email. It's a beautiful venue and the food is outstanding but its the willingness to go the extra mile at every turn that really made our day the wedding of the century. The head chef especially was amazing! Derek and the girls run a slick operation. Loads of people booked tulfarris after us because we were so happy and the wedding was so stunning!

As a bride who organised 99% of our wedding from Australia, I can not commend the staff at Tulfarris highly enough -Lilian, Anne-Marie, Derek and all who were involved in making our day so special. With the assistance of all the staff I had nothing to worry about. All questions, concerns and queries were dealt with so professionally. Living only a stones throw from the venue was a huge help as a quick visit to the hotel put me at ease. As the big day approached a few extra trips were made to ensure all was going to plan. Being a Friday of a bank holiday weekend I knew that it was going to be a busy weekend for all the staff with several weddings taking place -with one either side of our big day. However this had no impact on our day and the attention to detail was exceptional. It was a big wedding with just under 240 people attending -and all who shared our special day held the hotel and their staff on a pedestal. Everything from the drinks reception to the nibbles in the residents bar added a special touch. Our guests were made feel special throughout the day and those who spent a few nights in the hotel are talking about a return visit! The staff were kept in their toes throughout the weekend -even Derek was highly entered by one of the guests paddle in the water fountain! The hardest part about choosing Tulfarris as a wedding venue is having to decide whether to go for a winter wedding with the large open fires and candles in the Manor house or a summer wedding enjoying the fabulous courtyard and scenic views.

We opted for the courtyard and although it rained on the day it didn't dampen our experience. We chose Tulfarris because we wanted a weekend not a day experience with dinner on the Friday night (a first meeting of the parents and families), the wedding on Saturday and a follow up BBQ on the Sunday. Everything from the family dinner in an intimate private room through to the BBQ met and exceeded our expectations. Not only are the staff friendly, courteous and helpful, their customer service etiquette will blow you away. Nothing was too much trouble in the preparation stage or on the day for Derek, Cyril, Lillian and the team. You and the bridal party truly are the most important people on the day. The food was beyond all expectations and we were pleased to hear many positive comments from our family and guests on the venue, location, food and staff. Indeed our ushers 4 very hungry teenagers loved Derek.

We were advised when we came back from the church that the sweet cart vendor had let us down however Derek advised he had an alternative on standby if we wanted to go ahead. What could be better than that?!

A truly magnificent experience from start to finish which is why we are choosing to spend our first anniversary there this year.

We got married in Oct 14 and we are so happy we picked Tulfarris Hotel as our venue. We had both ceremony and reception at Tulfarris and it was perfect venue for this. The Pollaphuca suite, which is separate to the main hotel, has a beautiful ceremony room upstairs which was perfectly intimate with lovely scenic views. The reception room and bar are equally lovely with a gorgeous little courtyard to the side. We could not have been happier with the venue, and more importantly the wonderful service of all the staff at Tulfarris. Particular thanks goes to Lillian and Yvonne who helped us all the way through the run up to our big day and helped us through every details, and then to Derek and all his team on the day of the wedding who were on hand to help at every moment and ensured the day ran perfectly. The staff at Tulfarris are amazing!! there isn't anything too big or too small that they are will to do to make you feel relaxed and prepared. Lillian the rest of the staff are so flexible and easy to work with. On our wedding day all of the staff knew our names and really took great care of our guests. This is to thank you, Derek, Ann Marie, Honora, Chef, and all the team at Tulfarris for making Jenny and James' wedding celebrations over three days so memorable. They are both are elated at how it all went, as are Peter and I. The compliments from our guests are legion, so very many of them saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended.

Peter remarked this morning how you all made us feel as though we were the only wedding you were concerned with - then we saw the two following over the weekend! I worked in the hotel industry myself, albeit many years ago, and fully realise the amount of hard work which goes into making such an undertaking run so smoothly - despite, apparently, our best efforts to derail the timetable on the night. Everything was perfection; and we are very pleased, too, that the venue had the benefit of Mary O'Gara's beautiful flowers on the veranda and entrance to the ballroom over the weekend.

Tulfarris' reputation is justifiably spreading far and wide, as I said to Derek, so your combined efforts are not in vain. It meant a great deal to this family to have our celebrations so close to home. We felt a sense of 'belonging', and it made us proud to be able to entertain our family and friends at such a venue. The golfers among us were delighted with the course, and they and everyone else with the setting, the hospitality, the food, their rooms - everything. Hotels may be as elegant, as starred, and as comfortable as they please, but without an unfailingly pleasant and caring staff, as at Tulfarris, they really don't amount to much.

We thank you for your attention to every detail over the past almost seven months, for your patience in dealing with our myriad arrangements, and particularly for your constant good humour. It made dealing with it all so easy for us, and it is more appreciated than Peter and I can say.

Myself and my wife, Leanne, were married last year (2010) in September. We viewed several potential locations for the reception before going out to Tulfarris hotel. I have to say that once we went out there, saw the setting, and met the staff, our minds were made up. There was nowhere else for us. Simple. Decision made.

Leading up to the day, both Lillian and Ann-Marie were very friendly and helpful. They, along with Yvonne, were very accommodating to all of our wishes - allowing us to leave things in the hotel the night before; setting up the reception room and the manor house to our personal preferences; etc.
Whenever we were at the hotel, both before the ?big day?, during it and after it, Derek was a model of professionalism. He is extremely approachable and kept the day ticking over like clockwork. Not in your face ? almost invisible at times - he always seemed to be right at our sides whenever we needed him. He was also a great help to my best man and groomsman. Also, for the entire time that we dealt with the hotel, Susan was an absolute gem!
The grounds are stunning. And although it rained for most of our wedding day, our photographer still managed to get us out for a walk in the grounds during a brief sunny spell. We got some exquisite photographs all around the venue and especially with the Blessington lake in the background.
The food in a word: Magnificent. The head chef, Paul, provided an incredible feast that both of our families still talk about to this very day - and I'm sure they'll be talking about it for years to come! Not only the food on the day of the wedding, but the food in the bar, the Lime restaurant - throughout! Delicious.
In summary, Tulfarris hotel is in a stunning location, with friendly and helpful staff, impeccable rooms, delicious food and is, in my opinion, a magical place to have a wedding. To all of the staff in Tulfarris Hotel: Thank you ? again.

We're just back from honeymoon and have been listening to all of the wonderful compliments from all of our friends and family about our brilliant wedding in Tulfarris! We were absolutely delighted with the day, it was fantastic! The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive, huge thanks to Lillian, Catherine, Derek and Honoria, and Honora and everyone else They really put us at ease, especially in all the crazy lead up to the day! Just want to say a HUGE thank you to the staff in Tulfarris for making my day fabulous on Saturday! soo lucky with the weather, the hotel beautiful & the staff were brilliant on the day, especially Derek, Lilian, Kathryn, Ann-Marie & the chef and the girls on reception, actually couldnt fault anything about it, was really made to feel like a princess for the day:) il send and tag some photos when i get some:) lots of love

We had our wedding here last week. The staff were excellent, the food was delicious and the prices were extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend here.
