“We went with a relaxed vintage theme for decor with a colour theme of dusty pink. We didn’t want anything too “done” or “matchy” fitting in with the relaxed feel we hoped to achieve on the day.”

“We went with a relaxed vintage theme for decor with a colour theme of dusty pink. We didn’t want anything too “done” or “matchy” fitting in with the relaxed feel we hoped to achieve on the day.”
Sarah wore a dress from White Designer Studio in Navan. It had vintage lace with a deep V front and back. After trying on a few style belts, Sarah decided on an embellished belt that her seamstress attached to the dress, so she didn’t have to worry about it on the day. Jamie wore a Benetti 3 piece suit from McKenna Man.
The bridesmaids wore dusty rose dresses from Folkster with belts attached. They had originally planned mix and match styles with the belts as a common theme, but the girls ended up liking the same dresses! The groomsmen wore 2 piece Benetti suits fitting in with the relaxed feel, also from McKenna Man.
“Our ceremony was a humanist ceremony on-site in Mount Falcon, outdoors as the weather was so lovely. Our humanist celebrant was Sheila Garrity who wrote a beautiful, personal ceremony for us with lots of laughs and special sentimental moments throughout. We had a handfasting and sand ritual. Being outdoors, it was easier to use sand than candles in case of wind). We also had readings from both mums and Jamie’s cousin read Imelda May’s poem “Home”. Our music was by Saoirse Murray Music, a last-minute allowance with restrictions that we were delighted to be allowed.”
“Mount Falcon was the most beautiful venue for our wedding weekend. The grounds allowed for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and drinks reception and a helipad for my landing by helicopter. The function room was the perfect size for our 42 guests. It didn’t feel too empty! And the incredible outdoor bamboo tent provided a beautiful setting for our second-day barbeque. With most guests travelling for the full weekend, there was so much to do and the outdoor area in the sunshine provided the perfect space for guests to gather in the days after for a drink, coffee or ice cream.
Guests took advantage of the many available activities including walks, the driving range and archery. Alexa, the wedding coordinator, cannot be commended enough! Nothing was too much trouble for her and she provided many much-needed laughs while planning a wedding during a global pandemic. Alexa and her team made sure we had the weekend of our lives.”

“Unfortunately with restrictions, live entertainment wasn’t an option. We set up a collaborative playlist on Spotify and sent it to our guests, asking them to add songs they would like to hear on the day or songs that reminded them of us. Everyone got so on board we ended up with over 12 hours of music on the playlist. It was great fun on the day as everyone recognised their additions and shared stories and memories. We have the playlist to listen back to anytime now to relive the memories of the day. We also had an Instax camera and guest book. Guests had fun taking polaroid pictures and sticking them into our guest book with messages.”
“
“Suit yourselves, make sure the day is exactly how you want it and enjoy every second! Our wedding was anything but “typical”. An outdoor non-religious ceremony, with half the guests we had planned on having. A BBQ dinner and no band, but it was the best day of our lives. Full of love and laughter.”
