The story of how Marguerite and James met is truly unique! Marguerite was on a date with someone else but it wasn’t going well so she ran. James followed her out and they ended up going for a drink. And in an utterly romantic twist, after dating for some time, James proposed under the Eiffel tower.

We adore Marguerite’s wedding dress! It’s a Ronald Joyce dress from Alexanders Bridal. James got his fab suit was from Moss Bros.
The beautiful bridesmaids wore green Maya dresses from Next and the guys wore suits from Moss Bros.
Marguerite and James describe their ceremony as ‘beautiful’ and we can’t blame them! They had a spiritual ceremony at The Anglers Rest.
The celebrations continued at The Anglers Rest. “We had already had 2 venues due to Covid, but when we saw this one we fell in love. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the staff couldn’t do more for us.”
They described their photographer, David, of DMC Photography, as a gentleman. “You wouldn’t even know he was there. We wanted more natural photos and we are delighted with what he gave us. He really captured the day!”
For entertainment, they picked Jacinta McIntyre to sing at the ceremony and drinks reception. They loved her amazing voice and felt that it really added to the atmosphere of the day! They then had a DJ for the evening party.
Marguerite’s favourite moment from the day was seeing James’ face when she walked down the aisle.
“Just enjoy every minute, it really does go too fast.”
