Gorgeous Ways to Spoil Your Bridesmaids

Planning & Advice

We’ve two adorable ideas for you today, both for the ladies that’ll be by your side the whole way – your bridesmaids. Choosing your girls is an exciting part of the planning and if you’re looking to make it all the more memorable, you can go all out with a fun and creative proposal. A cute ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid’ card, a mug with bridesmaid on it or a bottle of wine with a tag asking her to walk you up the aisle are all lovely ways to pop the question to your ladies, or if you’re looking for something extra special, there’s the ‘Bridesmaid Box’. Fill a box full of little wedding related gifts for your Maid of Honour or Bridesmaids from a notebook for all the planning to colour swatches of the dress colour they’ll be wearing on the day to get them excited. Make sure to include some of their favourite things as well from her beloved Peppermint tea to her fave bar of chocolate.

Here are some things you can include in your ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid Box’…

  • Will You Be My Bridesmaid Card or a Letter
  • Cut outs of bridesmaid dresses you like
  • Ribbon/colour swatches in the colour they’ll be wearing
  • Beauty goodies (lip balm, face mask etc.)
  • Nail polish (to match dress colour)
  • Photos of you both
  • Sweet treats (and her favourite goodies)
  • Confetti
  • Notebook
  • Handkerchief (for tears of joy)
  • A mini bottle of champagne/wine (you can get Will You Be My Bridesmaid Labels too)
  • ‘Bride Tribe’ or ‘Team Bride’ temporary tattoos

If you’re not planning to do a big proposal, a bridesmaid box will work just as well as thank you bridesmaid gifts if you’re looking to make a bit of a fuss over your girls after all their help. You can pick up boxes, paper bags or pretty canvas totes to pop in some bits and bobs. They can be pricey if you’ve a load of girls but you can pop in a bottle of their favourite vino (you can make up tags or buy pretty thank you labels), some of their favourite sweets or baked goodies like Macarons and a heartfelt thank you note or card. Here’s some more ideas how to fill your Bridesmaid Thank You Packs

  • Thank You card
  • Makeup pouch
  • Robe/PJs
  • Piece of jewellery (initial necklaces and rings can be lovely)
  • Beauty goodies (lip balm, face mask etc.)
  • Nail polish to match dress colour
  • Sweet Treats (you can buy dress shaped sugar cookies that can be really cute!)
  • Confetti
  • A photo of you both
  • Handkerchief (for tears of joy)
  • A bottle of wine/mini bottle of champagne with Thank You label
