First things first, make sure your colours are rich and powerful. Deep purple, ruby red, vivid peacock and burnt orange work beautifully together. Don’t forget, you don’t need to only use flowers and foliage in your table settings; richly coloured fruits, vines, glass and hints of metallic will look awesome too.

Rugs, plush cushions, lanterns and candles all make for one amazing look. Floor cushions are a great way of adding a chill out zone at a reasonable cost.

Gold charger plates will completely change your table’s look. Pick them up in bulk, use once and sell them on.

No moroccan theme would be complete without traditional lanterns. Use them singularly or Together as a group for a lavish feel. Don’t forget the lanterns and brightly coloured flowers!

If you want to go all out, you could always add the traditional Moroccan gift to your gift registry – the Moroccan wedding blanket. Woven of sheep’s wool, cotton and linen by the Berber women in the Middle Atlas mountains of Northern Morocco, this blanket will become a family heirloom.
