Lily did this trend so well, if not with a slightly Princess Leia feel!

The name of the Juliet cap and veil actually stems from the most romantic play ever, Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’- original drawings of Juliet depicted her wearing a cap that sat neatly on her head. The cap veil is beautifully soft and romantic and is very popular with brides who are going for a 1920s or ’30s look.

Dirty Fabulous offer bespoke Juliet veils made to each bride’s specification, as well as stocking a range in store.

Just look at the detail on this veil, the beading is exquisite!

This pretty piece from Veiled Beauty is embellished with rhinestones and made from soft fine tulle for light flowing coverage, so there’s a modern touch to this romantic veil. Available to order from Veiled Beauty on Etsy.

This pretty soft and flowing tulle veil with beaded lace detailing attaches with two Deco inspired hair clips at either side and would work well with a 1920s wedding gown. Available to order from Sibo Designs on Etsy.

If your budget is endless (what, we can dream!) this 1920s silk tulle and Calais lace cap veil from Delphine Manivet might be just what you’re after! At €1390 it’s definitely out of our budget – doesn’t help us not love it though! Available from French designer Delphine Manivet.

This striking veil has been made using a delicate structured French silk tulle in ivory and an ivory polka-dot tulle that have been layered together. It’s attached to a tulle covered metal alice band and finished with a French corded lace edging, which frames the face beautifully. We love the vintage design with quirky polka dot! Available to order from Faulkner & Carter.
