Five Ways With Wedding Balloons

Inspiration

At Mrs2Be we love to see a bride who’s a little different and does her own thing. If you’re not a hearts and (wedding) flowers kind of girl, then wedding balloons could be just the thing for you. But how to use them? Check out our top five ways with wedding balloons, after the jump!

1. Balloon bouquet

An idea that’s not for everyone, carrying a single oversized ‘geronimo’ balloon, or a wedding balloon bouquet has become the trademark of the quirky bride. Bonus points for teaming this with a shorter dress and colourful wedding shoes. Not sure how the tossing of the bouquet would work with this one though!

2. Balloon release

Nobody wants posed, formal shots in their wedding album anymore, but it is still nice to get a group photo to remember the day by. Lighten the atmosphere with a balloon release like the one above for a relaxed, fun group shot.

3. Photo ops

An oldie but a goodie, this shot always makes us giggle! Use your fun props to your advantage when it comes to your photographs. Even if you’re not using balloons you can recreate this image with an umbrella. Cute!

4. Hot air balloon

While it isn’t actually possible to arrive to your reception by hot air balloon (the flight depends heavily on wind direction), balloons.ie provide hot air balloons for wedding photo opportunities and can whisk you away from your reception in a balloon the next day. Talk about making an exit!

5. Décor

We absolutely love this fun vintage décor idea, as seen at the Carton House wedding showcase. These oversized balloons from balloonman.ie teamed with a vintage bike make for a quirky focal point and a handy meeting point for any guests likely to get lost later in the night!
