One Month To Go! Your Wedding Checklist For Your Last Few Days

Checklists, Planning & Advice

Congratulations! You’ve made it to your 30 day countdown. With just one month to go, here’s your wedding checklist so you don’t forget anything important.

1. Get your final headcount

It’s important to let your caterer know how many people are coming to your wedding dinner, so chase up those RSVPs!

Wondering how to get those RSVPs in quicker? Check out this advice.

2. Go for your last dress fitting

Make the final touches to your bridal look by having your final dress fitting! Don’t forget to wear your heels.

Expert tip: do your hair and makeup and you’ll feel extra beautiful during your fitting.

3. Book your final beauty appointments

It’s time to have a hair and makeup trial, so book those for the month before the wedding. Include dying your hair no later than two weeks before the Big Day so you’ve got time for the colour to settle in. We recommend buying the lipstick you and your makeup artist decide is best. Pop it in your wedding clutch for the Big Day.

Book your appointments for your mani, pedi, massage and self-tan, if you’re opting for any of these treatments.

4. Chat with all your suppliers

About two weeks before the wedding, phone all your suppliers and check in. Confirm arrival times, what they need to bring and pay everyone ahead of time. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day is be carrying envelopes of cash to distribute.

5. Create a wedding day timeline

Your timeline will include all the events happening on the day, so be as detailed as you can. 30 days before your wedding, distribute this timeline to your wedding party, parents and suppliers.

6. Pack an emergency kit

Things happen and we recommend being prepared! 30 days before your wedding, create a wedding day emergency kit or delegate this to your wedding party.

9. Order wedding programmes

Speak with your stationery supplier to get a batch of wedding programmes designed and printed.

10. Send your song list to the band and DJ

And don’t forget to include songs you don’t want them to play!

Don’t forget why you’re doing all of this! Write a special note or buy a sweet gift to give to your spouse-to-be on the morning of your wedding day.
