Right so. Am going to a wedding in about 3 weeks and I need a dress. Am short on time, so would appreciate all suggestions. Some of ye know what I look like, so I'm expecting some contributions from ye. :o0 For everyone else, I'm short, size 10-12 (closer to a 12 at the mo) and prefer blues, purples, pinks etc to yellows greens and the like. I've lots (and lots) of ark curly hair. Helppppppppppppppp Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :thnk

where are you based? AMAZING shop called threadbare and wild in wicklow town - lots of funky stuff, mostly spanish, danish and young irish designers, its not cheap but you can be pretty sure nobody else will be wearing the same thing. i've picked up a few dresses for weddings in there and still love em all.

Am based in South Dublin....thanks guys, keep em coming. I should add that I Always have to try on dresses - ebay/catalogue shopping ends in expensive duesters for me....nothing ever fits properly...

I would try all the major places such as Debenhams, Principles and places like that, If you dont mind wearing a strapless dress I think you will be spoilt for choice
