Girls can anyone recommend a hotel in central london- mayfair region or within 5/10minute walk of there. It has to be that location which just my luck is the dearest. I've searched the net for hours O:| and am finding ridiculously priced hotels and when I check reviews on trip advisor it says not to touch them with a barge pole. Any recommendations would be a great help. I don't mind paying above the odds at this stage but preferably not for a dump. cheers :wv

Just got back from a girly trip to London. We stayed in Jurys Clifton Ford near Marylebone High Street - just five minutes walk from Oxford Street. Have nothing but good things to say about it. Had always stayed at the Regent Palace in Picadilly before, purely for the convenience - it was nice to find a four star hotel for €159 per room per night for three people. If you ring the hotel directly it works out better - I was able to get a good deal, including breakfast. Hope this helps.
