Pregnacare & Iron Question

Hi Guys, is it advisable to take pregnacare along with Iron? I'm taking Iron at present as am really tired but don't want to overdose if I take the pregnacare but I do want to get other vitamins into me and have a box outside. What should I do?

Not sure but there is iron in pregnacare so i wouldnt say you should take both....

check with your Doctor first, even just give them a buzz, they might be able to tell you over the phone, I bought the pregnacare tablets as well but haven't taken them yet as bloods are fine and so won't take them unless doc says so.

my iron is low and have been taking pregnacare and an iron supplement for a few weeks. (Spa tone is a tonic iron supplement that can be added to OJ - not strong enough for me. Most popular iron tablet seems to be galffer) Consultant told me that Pregnacare is simply a good all round multi vit but has very little benefit as regards extra Iron!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HTH

yes i took galfer FA all through preg after 13 weeks, and still taking it now!

I'm pretty sure there's no iron in Pregnacare - I'm sure I checked this before.
