Quick Invite question - full name or just first?

Hey there, Very quick question re wording on invitation - when putting in the guests name (either by hand or printed - we're printing ours) do you put in "Mr & Mrs So and So" or "Joe & Mary Smith" or just "Joe & Mary". Our invitations are a traditional style and wording - just wondering what everyone elses take on this was?

ours had tradtional wording and we just used first names

We have just done our weddding invites and we put Mr and Mrs xxxxxx. We weren't sure either, prob best to put in the surname anyway makes it easier just incase you have a few people with the same first name.

if it's traditional style then it should be mr & Mrs J smith HTH

Ours were traditionally worded with the parents inviting but we just put first names on the invitations. Full titles on the envelopes.
