The Old Convent in Tipperary - Restaurant /B&B

Has anyone stayed in the 'Old Convent' on the Cork/Tipp border?? Looked up the website and it looks fab. It's getting great reviews. Just wondering has anyone stayed there, what is there to do in the evening when the 8-course meal is finished. Is there a library/bar you and go to after?? Planning a romanic trip for next month.

We stayed there a few months ago. As far as I can remember it was late enough when the meal finished, near 11, so we just went up to bed. There is a "living room" type of room with a bar that you could go to though. Really lovely place, such nice rooms and yummy food. Looking forward to going again.

i've stayed here before and it is lovely, we were so stuffed and tipsy from the wine after the meal we just stumbled up the stairs to bed!! but there is the living room/parlour where you could relax afterwards which is what most of the guests did as far as i remember look up trip advisor and you will see my review!! i can't wait to go back there again.
