My name is Aidan and I am a husband, father and wedding photographer. I was born in Dublin but now live in Kildare with my sidekick wife Michelle, two beautiful kids Grace and Darragh and our amazing dog Willow. I love family life and just hanging out with the kids. My guilty pleasures include craft beer and bingeing on Netflix and reading way to many Jack Reacher books.
When I'm at your wedding I'm not just taking photos. I'm documenting your memories with all your family and friends on the most amazing day of your life. These photos and memories become more precious as time passes by. When your wedding is over the photos from your day will forever be there to remind you both how it all felt. I want to give you these memories that tell the true story of your day so you can always relive the emotion, tears, hugs and happiness that was your wedding. My style of wedding photography is documentary, creative and fun. I like to keep things looking natural and try not to make people feel uncomfortable by forcing them into silly poses. I want people to be themselves. That's when they're at their best.

Aidan was our photographer for our wedding at Darver Castle in February 2024 and he did an amazing job. We first saw Aidan’s work online and loved the natural look to his photos. From our first chat with Aidan we felt very comfortable and confident that he was the right photographer for us.
On the day he was a pleasure to work with, was very relaxed and at ease and kept us calm throughout. He also worked extremely well alongside our videographer, despite having never worked together before, which demonstrated his professional nature.
After the wedding Aidan was very prompt in compiling our wedding gallery and we are delighted with the photos he took. The quality and amount of photos we received was fantastic. He captured every moment of the day with great detail. Looking back over the photos he took is like relieving the day all over again. He included everything we asked for and more. We would highly recommend Aidan to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, you won’t regret choosing him.

I would 100% recommend Aidan as a wedding photographer. Our wedding was November 2023 and the photos are absolutely stunning we couldnt be happier! He captured everything we wanted and any photos we requested he knew exactly how to make them perfect. Aidan was our photographer for our wedding on 5th August, and I couldn't recommend enough. Myself and my husband were meant to get married in June 2020 but had to cancel 3 times due to covid restrictions - Aidan was extremely understanding and supportive throughout all of this. In our consultation with him before the wedding it was clear he had the style of photography we were looking for - really natural. From the moment Aidan arrived at my mams house the morning of the wedding, I knew we were in very safe hands. His great sense of humour and professionalism put all of us at ease. He was so accommodating and made sure to get some great pictures with our two dogs. We can't thank him enough for making us both feel so much at ease and relaxed throughout the day. He was so accommodating in doing all requested photos and got some beautiful sunset shots that evening.

We are so glad we chose Aidan as our photographer. We loved his styles and had a few meeting with him before the day where he was so helpful in guiding us along the process. He never was forceful with any opinions and made sure we were comfortable with every decision. On the day itself, Aidan was an absolute tonic. A really fun and lighthearted person to be around, he made everyone feel at ease and because of that, got such beautiful candid photos. He managed timelines for the day so perfectly, we got beautiful couple shots and still our guests commented how we didn't appear to be missing from our reception at all! When Aidan noticed a beautiful sunset after dinner he told us the light was beautiful and it might be worthwhile going outside, he wasn't forceful at all, respecting that it was our day. We took his sound advice and went out and wow what sunset photos we did get. We are so thrilled with our whole gallery, Aidan captured the absolute essence of our day and looking at the photos brings us right back. Also worth noting is that Aidan actually helped us to pick 2 other suppliers with suggestions we asked him for, he is well connected within the industry and a really ally for a wedding couple. We chose Aidan as our wedding photographer for his more candid and casual approach to his photos and he did not disappoint! Our wedding photos are incredible. He was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. We were planning our wedding from overseas (which can be difficult) and he took the time to facetime with as multiple times and understand exactly what we were looking for. The day of the wedding ran so smooth with him... he did both are wedding party get ready photos and travelled around to all our different locations without any bother at all. His prices are reasonable, he is a great guy to work with and we would highly recommend him to anyone getting married in the future!

We had great craic with Aidan he is a gent and was so easy going and made us feel at such ease. He listened to exactly what we wanted, we didn't want to spend all day posing for a million photos away from our guests. He is extremely talented at his job & unbelievable to deal with. He had some photos to us the next afternoon while we were getting stuck into our day 2 celebrations which was such an emotional surprise. We were absolutely delighted & loved them, it was amazing to be able to show our family & friends some professional photos the day after the wedding. The photos are so beautiful and we absolutely love them, one thing we were very set on was no posing photos and just natural captures and this is exactly what we got. We have had so many compliments on the photos also. From the moment we spoke with Aidan, we knew we would be comfortable with him being around us on the day, his personality shone through also and we knew he'd would be a laugh and not cause any extra pressure or stress on the day. There were times we forgot you were Aidan was the photographer and were just happy to have him there with us. Definitely happy with our choice.

Aidan was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the start he really helped put us at ease as we had no idea where to start when it came to picking a wedding photographer. Once we had our video consultation I knew we definitely made the right choice. His work speaks for itself...stunning photography. On the day I felt so at ease with him and he was in no way obtrusive. My husband and I were pretty much laughing the whole time with him. Couldn't recommend him more.

Aidan was amazing and we are so glad we chose him to capture our special day. He put us at ease from the first meeting with his calmness, friendliness, and professionalism. We bumped into him at our venue a few days before our wedding day and he genuinely seemed so excited to be photographing it for us. He fitted in seamlessly to the hectic day and really became part of the wedding party and family!!

Aidan has a wonderfully natural photographic style. We commissioned him for our wedding, and he has gifted us with such a memorable set of photos. He slipped in seamlessly to our day, managing to find the perfect balance of always being there, but never being in the way! His experience of working at weddings shone through, even to the point of reminding us that we had forgotten our buttonhole flowers? and then going and getting them for us!
Whilst Aidan does the ?posed? photographs very well (the photos of the bridal party, the families together etc.), for me personally, his real talent lies in capturing the special moments that you share with your partner and those closest to you on the day - the snippets of time that will live long in your memory are vividly brought back to life.
He is easy to be around, with a very relaxed temperament and amiable manner. I would confidently recommend him to anyone.

Long overdue review but Aidan was just super to deal with. Michelle & I got married in July 2021?which goes without saying that having to plan a wedding then with Covid was a difficult task. Aidan made the process very simple, and most importantly very easy. A few calls and a socially distant meet up for a coffee when it was allowed, to go over our wants, need and the day, was all it took.
On the day, Aidan again made it super simple and spend plenty of time with us while Michelle was getting ready and then called to me to take part of the guys getting ready too.
Each time, getting those all important pictures that we will cherish for ever.
At the wedding he did the same?.always around without being in anyone's face, taking some brilliant shots we will be looking at for ever.

Aidan was our wedding photographer for our wedding in March 2021 and we could not recommend him highly enough.
Prior to our wedding we had numerous chats & phone calls about our big day. Aidan was extremely helpful in helping us piece together what our intimate wedding might look like as he had previous experience of shooting weddings during Covid restrictions. He offered us lots of tips and suggestions which we greatly appreciated.
Having Aidan as our photographer on our wedding day was like having an extra guest! He was extremely discrete, mixed with our family and provided lots and lots of laughs. Our day was very relaxed and chilled, no doubt helped by Aidan's easy manner and personality.
We were blown away when we received our wedding photos! Aidan captured the day so perfectly including lots of incidental moments throughout the day that really illustrated people's emotions as well as more formal family photos.
Within 24 hours of the wedding Aidan had shared 4 photos from the day which we were so excited to see. Shortly after we received a slideshow with approximately 200 photos and soon after we received access to the full gallery. We particularly loved the slideshow and it was lovely to be able to share it with family & friends that were not with us on the day.
We are so happy that we went with Aidan as our wedding photographer. He was so easy to deal with, his presence definitely added to our day and the photos are absolutely amazing. Thanks Aidan!

Myself and my husband had the absolute pleasure of having Aidan as our photographer at our wedding in October of this year. From the very first conversation I had with Aidan, I knew he was without a doubt the right person for us. I was so impressed with his work and his style of photography, there was something unique about it and I was drawn to it straight away. On the day of the wedding Aidan was a amazing. He made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed and he was fantastic with the little ones. When the time came for myself and my husband to have our pictures taken after the ceremony, we both felt like we were just out on a stroll with a friend. It didn't feel like we were constantly posing, everything just felt so natural.

We had an excellent experience with Aidan Beatty! Planning a wedding wasn't my favourite but my photos were important to me. Prior to the day, communication with Aidan was 5/5 and I knew we were on the same page. Very professional! He really captured our favourite places in Cork (exactly what we wanted). We received the photos quickly after the date. We were blown away with the variety of photos. They were all so beautiful. Already framed throughout our house. Aidan was also great to hang out with!

We had Aidan for our wedding last July. He was fantastic to deal with, met us beforehand to discuss what we wanted and was a lovely relaxed presence then on the day itself, all of our guests spoke highly of him. We were very happy with all the photographs we got in the end.

Adian was brillant. I can only recommend him to every couple out there getting married. He listened to what we wanted and how we would like the photos to be. He was patient and very in a good way invisible on the day. We didn't have the feeling he was in our way at any momment during the service. He kept in contact with us up to the day which I as a bride found lovely knowing he hadn't forgot us. His photography of the wedding was fantastic. We still look at the photos and keep singing his praise on what an amazing job he did. He captured us. Us in laughter. Us in love. Us and our family and friends. I honestly cannot reccomend Aidan Beatty photography highly enough. From the very beginning he communicated with us by email and then by phone. Through numerous conversations we discussed exactly what we wanted from our photographs on the day and he offered some invaluable advice. He organised a seperate venue for some of our photos and constantly reassured us throughout the process. He is a true professional, extradinarily creative and a gentleman. We were incredibly happy with our photos and our gift box was just an extra special touch. If I were to do it all again, i would recommend Aidan everytime.

Aidan Beatty is an absolute amazing photographer. He really blended into our day and made a huge effort with both our families and guests. He was very accommodating. Aidan was a dream to deal with. Neither of us are very enthusiastic about having our picture taken so we were certainly not looking forward to having them taken on the wedding day but knew it had to be done. We can't believe we are actually saying this, but we loved having the photos taken on the wedding day. We thought we would be watching the time or rushing to get back for canapes. Aidan made the whole day enjoyable from the time he arrived first thing in the morning, until when he left that night. He was quick and professional, we didn't even realise he was taking photographs half of the time. When we saw the photos for the first time, we were blown away by uniqueness of each one. They were not like any we had seen before and the quality was outstanding. We cannot recommend Aidan enough. He is a seriously talented photographer, that will the tell the whole story of your day in a very unique way.

I think one of the things brides do be worried about is the wedding pictures because at the end of the day they are the one thing you will always have to look back on for years, From the moment I met Adian I felt relaxed and comfortable and knew I would book him to take our pictures and we were not disapointed, The whole day when it came to the pictures was great and relaxed and every picture turned out fab as did the album.

Fantastic photographer. Very professional and tallented. Captured the essence of our special day beautifully. Went above and beyond our expectations!
