Bismark Wedding Photography

We booked Bismark for our wedding and due to covid we had to postpone for 12 months and there was no problem with our switching dates. On the day of our wedding we had Sheenagh & Donnacha who were both amazing from start to finish with the bits of advise through out the day, no matter how small. They made us feel so relaxed that we hardly knew they were there, they captured every moment for us and some times we didn't even know they took the photos. We had 2 flower girls and both Donnacha & Sheenagh were brilliant with them, had loads of patience. They were good craic on the day, both of our families and guests enjoyed them and commented afterwards how lovely they were on the day. We would highly recommend Bismark Photography. Right from the top. Myself and Karen decided in February last year, that we organise our wedding for August 2022 . We gave Barry a call in relation to see if he was available to do the photography for the big day. We then sat down in June this year to go through the whole process for the day, and to make sure we we're happy with everything that was in place for the day ahead. Fast forward to August and the wedding day arrives, and with all the excitement and bit of nerves in the air, Barry and his Daughter Sarah arrived to get to work. Even in the heat with the weather we had, we barely noticed that they were there taking photos, and from the best man to the bridesmaid's, it couldn't of been any more relaxed than it was, but at the same time the most professional with every move. The fun we had with the outdoor photo's, was made more enjoyable with the jokes coming out from the man behind the camera, all of the this only adding to the occasion and being talked about throughout the evening. We can't recommend Bismark Photography enough, it was one of the easiest and best decisions we made in relation to the wedding, and we can't wait to see our day in in pictures. We booked Bismark photography without knowing a thing about them. We booked them in 2021 when covid made it difficult to meet suppliers. In the lead up to our big day, I had heard from other suppliers that they were very nice and very good. I wasn’t let down. Sheenagh and Donnacha were a pleasure to deal with. My new husband and I felt very comfortable around them. They were good craic on the day and it felt like we knew them forever. It was great having 2 photographers which were surprisingly similarly priced to some other single photographers. Sheenagh emailed me a selection of photos late on the wedding night. I couldn’t believe our luck! The pictures were so nice to have to be able to show people the following day. All our bridal party said how “sound” they both were too. I love the pictures we received so far and I can’t wait to see more. I would recommend highly recommend them.

Sheenagh and Donnacha were amazing from start to finish. They’re the best at what they do. Whether it’s offering advice throughout the day based on their years of experience, or repeatedly making sure you’re enjoying yourself and giving you all the time you need to spend time with your guests, I don’t think there’s a better testimonial for photographers. They’re like part of the bridal party, always up for a bit of craic, and when we looked back on our wedding we realised how massive a part of our day they were. I honestly can't put into words how amazing Sheenagh and Donnacha were for our wedding on 22/7/22. They were so outstanding from start to finish. Sheenagh went above and beyond for myself helping me get into my dress and chatting with my two little girls, keeping them occupied all morning. And Donnacha for the lads fit in like another groomsman. My husband said he couldn't have asked for a better man for the job! They were so friendly and bubbly all day and so professional and obviously great craic! I would highly recommend Bismark as a photographer for any occasion (not just a wedding). We recently had the privilege of having Sheenagh and Barry from Bismark capture our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service provided. Both Sheenagh and Barry came into our homes and instantly became part of our families, their friendly banter and bubbly presence on the morning made everyone so chilled and relaxed. We got married on July 16th 2022 and we had the most amazing day with Sheenagh & Donnacha. From the moment we booked them, their professionalism was second to none. So approachable, easy going and communication was always excellent! Between Sheenagh tying the perfect bow on the bridesmaid dresses and Donncacha sewing the strap of my wedding dress back on, they really are all rounders!!! They were so helpful on the day, as they know how everything works, they really put your mind at ease and everything just flowed so perfectly. Both of our families and all our wedding guests commented on how lovely both Sheenagh and Donnacha were and how obliging they were when guests asked to have their photos taken. They honestly just felt our like wedding guests and blended in so well. Mark and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with them and never felt like we were missing out on any part of our day to get photos taken, it was the perfect balance. We received a sneak peak of photos the following day!!! Which is such a lovely touch! The final wedding photos are absolutely stunning, we couldn't be happier with them, we felt like we relived the whole day just looking at them. Memories to look back on for life. From the moment we contacted Bismark they were so professional and prompt to reply. To be honest we were 99% sure we would book Bismark before we even met! Once we met Barry we knew he was the photographer for us! He put us both at ease and made us laugh! We could be ourselves! Barry came to my parents house the morning of the wedding and Mark was with my husband's family at their house. Mark and Barry were the dream team on our wedding day! Nothing was too much. They captured all the special moments of the best day of our lives. We had 6 sample photos waiting in our inbox the morning after our wedding, this was a lovely touch, a sneak peak of what was to come! We got the rest of our photos 3 days before the date given to us, another pleasant surprise! We LOVE our photos. The walk through Kinsale in heels was 100% worth it for our AMAZING photos! We were married at Barnabrow Country House on 9th July 2022. Sheenagh was our official wedding photographer and her photos completely captured the love and happiness of our special day. Totally professional in her approach but at the same time relaxed and attentive. Sheenagh blended in with the occasion and guests, and has produced some stunning images for us that will forever re-kindle memories and moments of our day, one we will never forget. I got married 24th May 2021 due to my Dad being sick. I knew my Dad wouldn't be there for my big day so brought it forward and got married in the registry office. I got onto Barry explained my situation and asked if he could come to the house and registry office to get some pics and of course there was no problem. Barry ended up in hospital but wouldn't let me down and sent his his partner Sheenagh. Omg I can honestly say from start to finish she was absolutely AMAZING. She went above and beyond got the most beautiful pictures with my Dad and family. These pictures are now priceless to me. I cannot thank her enough. I then had my big day on the 24th June 2022 where I had Barry do my pictures. From the minute he arrived he was on the ball with everything. He was even running around sorting the grooms button holes handing on our poems running here and there. He never once complained just got involved and got the jobs done that needed to be done. Barry was absolutely AMAZING also. A true gent. We had a great laugh on the day, he made us feel at ease and there were times you wouldn't even know he was there. I cannot recommend Bismark enough, so professional and lovely to deal with. My experience is 10 out of 10. Anyone getting married get booking Bismark ye will not regret it. We really can't recommend Bismark more. From the outset, they made us feel very comfortable and that we were in safe hands. We had two rescheduled due to lockdown and they were accommodating each time. On the day, they made us all laugh and put anybody who doesn't normally like getting their picture taken at ease. They were flexible with the pictures we wanted and they turned out great. Thank you!

This was our third bite at staging this wedding & we were lucky that we had Barry & Sheenagh with us right from the start. Knowledge of the Munster wedding scene is unsurpassed and the time & money they saved us by putting us in touch with the right suppliers & giving us honest opinions of the type of venue that would suit us as the rules changed meant they’d saved us more than we paid them. Before the wedding they were there to offer advice & ask what suggestions we wanted for pictures on the day & to reassure us about times & scheduling. On the day they were the first people at the venue, their good form was infectious & while they were professional they didn’t disturb the bride or groom party. After the ceremony they knew exactly what shots would work & had areas set up ready for group & couple pictures so it didn’t take up much of our day. They left nobody out yet did it with such efficiency that we were hardly missed at the drinks reception. After the ceremony we had a set of pictures sent by email before the reception ended & many many beautiful snaps sent to us within a fortnight from which we need to choose from for our album. They are people that love their work and it shows. We’ll never need a wedding photographer again but I recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer not to look beyond Bismarck.

Where do I start ! Barry and Sheenagh did the Photography for our wedding in The Maryborough hotel recently and the only way I could describe them is perfection. Two of the best in the business by a country mile - from planning what shots we wanted in the lead up to the wedding , to the actual day itself & how our pictures turned out , they truely were spectacular. Could not recommend these enough. Sheena was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. As our wedding was a covid one things were a little diffrent and she went above and beyond to settle the nerves on the day. She had such a relax manner about her we couldnt help but feel the same. She made all our guests feel very secure in the tough times we were in and it's so nice to look back and have all the memories of the day. Very quick in sending the pictures also. Barry and Sheenagh from Bismark Photography photographed our wedding in the Falls Hotel in 2016. I originally met them in a wedding fair in Cork and decided to go with them straight away due to their friendly easy going nature and beautiful photo's. They were brilliant on the day getting all the key photos that we wanted while adding a bit of fun as well. I recommended them to my friend who was equally happy with them and I returned to get my baby's first photo's taken there. We were lucky to have the Dream Team of Sheenagh and Barry take our pictures at our wedding a few years ago after they were recommended by a number of friends who had used them at their own weddings. They really are brilliant at what they do and made the whole process of taking the pictures a fun party of the day.
