Catherine Byrne is an experienced singer with a distinctive and remarkable tone, which lends itself to a variety of musical styles. At the tender age of 17, she was selected to perform for Niall Quinn's testimonial match in the celebrated Stadium of Light in Sunderland. Here she sang a version of the famous song Tomorrow, from the musical Annie. Her vocal expertise is particularly suited to wedding ceremonies but her ability stretches beyond any one genre, she is truly chameleonic.
For the past 12 years, Catherine has been primarily a ceremonial singer, focusing on weddings and as such, has an extensive repertoire from which to draw for all tastes and themes. She is as comfortable performing 'Ave Maria' as she is the Black-Eyed Peas!
She is a consummate, experienced professional and ensures every occasion will be carried off with the minimum of stress, leaving you to relax and enjoy the day and more importantly, the music! We had Catherine play at our wedding ceremony New years eve 2022 and what an amazing voice! Catherine added so much grace to our ceremony, I would highly recommend her to anyone with an upcoming wedding. Catherine was very helpful in picking our song choices and improvised on the day so professionally when pictures were taking longer than expected. We had so many hiccups with our wedding due to Covid however this did not deter Catherine. She was fantastic to deal with and accommodated us when we had to reschedule. Her communication and consultation around song choices were so helpful. On the day itself the bride was a little delayed Catherine did not seemed phased by this and sang additional songs while waiting creating a lovely atmosphere for the guests. Catherine is a true professional and her voice is effortless - a real natural gift. Not to forget Declans excellent guitar playing and their harmonies together were so special. Thank you for making our wedding ceremony so memorable - we would highly recommend!!!

Catherine was absolutely amazing. When we were looking fir our ceremony music we listened to the songs she has on her page and we just loved her voice. She was so easy and lovely to deal with. She sang our songs so beautifully, our guests even joined in. She is so professional and great value for the quality service she provides. She took time to find me before leaving after the ceremony to congratulate us and say goodbye. Can't recommend her enough. Catherine and myself grew up in the same neighbourhood and I always remember her singing in the church choir. Catherine always stood out as the best and no wonder she has now gone on to be a successful wedding singer. When the time came to book a wedding singer and even though I hadnt seen Catherine for years straight away she was the first person I thought of and we were delighted to hear our date was still available.
