Celticbreeze Church Ceremony Music, Leinster

Celtic Breeze played at our humanist wedding ceremony last weekend and afterwards at our drinks reception. We were absolutely blown away by them. Michael, Phadraic and Sharon are three of the best musicians we have ever heard. They are so talented, so efficient, so professional and very pleasant to deal with from the very start. Our ceremony music we picked from there extensive playlist was just beautiful and we really could not have asked for more. Thank you so much for contributing to our special day.

Andrew and I married on the 11th November 2017. I am South African and he is Irish and we wanted our guests, especially those arriving from abroad, to enjoy some Irish music during our ceremony. Our engagement was very short so we had minimal time to arrange everything. I looked online for Irish musicians and came across Celtic Breeze. I spoke to Michael on the phone and I think the wedding nerves were kicking in around that point but he is so lovely and put me at ease telling me that the celebrant we chose was really great and that it would be easy to co-ordinate the music with the readings etc. Michael had some beautiful ideas as to how to reflect our different heritages and as Andrew and I live abroad, Michael and Padhraic efficiently answered questions and emails. The band even learnt the song "Budapest" for us when we at the last minute realised that we needed another piece of music. Nothing was a problem for them.

I have to be honest, in the list of priorities we had in the planning phase, I didn't consider the ceremony music to be the most important aspect (at the time, it was like a box ticked) so I was in for a big surprise when I realised on the day, how incredibly amazing Celtic Breeze are. We were delighted that we decided to have the band play at our drinks reception too. Their music is from the heart. You get this sense of the passion that Michael, Padhraic and Sharon have for music and for bringing out the best in a gathering (getting a feel for the crowd) which set the tone for the entire day. Our guests from two very different backgrounds (who had never met before) were dancing with each other, singing along to songs and absolutely enjoying themselves. The music played a huge part in this.

They were absolutely fantastic and all of our guests were so complimentary of their music at the ceremony and afterwards at the reception. Beautiful music in the church and a great mix for the reception. They can play pretty much anything you ask for! I would highly recommend Celtic Breeze to anyone. We booked Celtic Breeze after hearing them play at a family members wedding. Their music brought goosebumps to our skin and we loved them.
