David and his team in Trim were incredible to work with from the start! From the first phone call to the wedding day…everything was easy with them! David himself is a wonderfully creative photographer who really listened to what we wanted and went with the flow on the day! He arrived on time, made himself invisible and captured every moment! He even managed to get the best out of my Dad who is unwell and found it hard to put on a brave face that day! We had a large wedding party with 13 adults and 14 children and he went with the flow of the day; snapped every photo we wanted and managed to control the crazy times!

I could not recommend him highly enough. He was great fun and brought an electric energy to the house, the church and the venue!! If you want someone who rolls with the flow of the day, is a bit of craic and gets brilliant photos then David is your man!

My wife and I cannot recommend David enough if anyone is looking for a photographer. He was full of fun and so engaging with all the guests, he has so much energy and we both can't wait to see his amazing photographs. From the time we 1st met at the studio we knew we picked the right person to photograph our wedding , came on time , knew where we were to stand had wonderful concept and inspired ideas . We got married at Slane Castle so great photos , even if a wedding was held in a small hall I knew pictures will work for any protenial Bride and Groom.

I was recommended David by the local wedding coordinator and how myself and my wife are so pleased we did. He is so professional and so easy going. He arrived on time and made myself and my wife at ease. The communication and the planning was so professional that my wife's brother is planning on getting married as soon as and wants Dave as his photographer. He also spent two hours meeting us two weeks prior to our wedding and went through the whole day and helped us with some poses but what stood out was his humor. He also gave great direction especially in the church.

We had David for our wedding a few days ago and he was absolutely brilliant. Got stuck in straight away, no messing about and had a few laughs along the way. He made us feel very relaxed on our big day, which was a big thing for us as we were very nervous. He took lots of brilliant photos of our families & friends, we can't wait to see our wedding album! David was an excellent photographer! My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera usually but David made sure to give us lots of pointers beforehand and during our day. He is very experienced and worked with the venue to make sure everything ran smoothly!

As soon as we booked our date, I immediately booked David. I had heard fantastic things about him and he certainly didn't disappoint. We planned our wedding from abroad and therefor had no pre wedding shoot which meant the first time we met him was 10 minutes before our ceremony. We just got married on Friday and had David as our photographer. We honestly can not recommend him enough, from the first time we met him for our pre-wedding shoot - right until the time he left on Friday night he had us all laughing and feeling completely at ease. We weren't getting pulled off for photos for the whole day as he was so efficient, and knew exactly where and when to get the best shots. So many of our friends have gotten married in the past year and advised us not to be afraid to tell our photographer when we have had enough of the photos but we honestly didn't feel sick of getting photos once. We had our wedding 25th February 2023 in the Headfort arms hotel Kells and were the 1st to get married in the red chapel across the road.. From the moment David arrived up to the room he put myself and my bridesmaids at ease with his wit.One of my bridesmaids was very nervous and he had her doing a walk/dance which he told her she had to do walking up the aisle.The other two joined in, we were all in stitches when they figured he was joking.

We were so happy we chose David Moore Photography for our wedding on 22 August at Trim Castle Hotel.
From the outset, our communications with Fiona and David were seamless and straightforward.
As we were coming from abroad, we only had our pre-wedding shoot five days before the wedding. At this time, we talked to David in detail about what we wanted on the day, and had sample shots of us taken (we were given tips on how to pose). This was very helpful and we made sure to keep the tips in mind on the big day! David asked us all the right questions during this meeting, including details about family relations to make sure there would not be any surprises on the day. At this point we also got to see the different versions of the photo albums available and made our choice.
On the day of the wedding, David travelled up to my family home north of Dundalk and was an integral part of the pre-wedding preparations. He got some great shots of our home and family and it was lovely to have him there, it really added to the excitement.
Being a local, David knew the hotel's wedding coordinators and other wedding suppliers well and worked together with them like a dream on the day. I was really impressed by how flexible David was and how efficiently he managed to get guests together in order to get shots taken. He has a great sense of humour and was able to put everyone at ease while remaining totally professional.
In addition, we were beyond delighted on the evening of the wedding when we discovered that David had gifted us a pre-wedding shot of us in a large photo frame which all our friends and family had signed around the edges. It was such a beautiful gesture and was completely unexpected.
Although we haven't seen our wedding photos yet, we are confident that we are going to be very happy with them because we were over the moon with the service provided. Thank you both so much!

I was holding off writing my review because I just don't know the words to describe how phenomenal David and Fiona are. From the moment I messaged and spoke to Fiona about booking, I knew it had to be David. She was so kind and helpful and any questions I asked she was only too happy to answer. David was incredible from start to finish. We had rain all day, which I thought would ruin our day completely but I didn't even have a chance to dwell on it. David made sure he got his amazing shots regardless of the rain and I had forgotten all about it without minutes. He makes you feel fantastic about yourself and worked alongside our videographer incredibly. He's not just a photographer, he's completely part of the whole day- without him we?d of been lost! He makes the day run as smoothly as it does and creates the most amazing atmosphere no matter what we were doing. I felt within 5 minutes that he was part of the family. His humorous nature just filled the whole wedding. He knows how to read the room and puts your mind at ease every step of the way. From advice, to fixing buttonholes, pictures and all of the in between- he is a wedding expert. We were sad to see David leaving that evening because he was so involved and such a huge part of our day. From the initial meeting with him weeks before the wedding he put us completely at ease. For people who aren't used to the camera and shy away from it, he made it so natural for us. People raved about how fantastic he was and still 4 weeks later my family are still talking about how lost we?d have been without him from start to finish. He is so much more than just your photographer. Do not hesitate for a minute in choosing David as he is the best in the business. I'm just looking for another excuse to book him again and cannot wait to see our photos. I could go on and on about his phenomenal work and character as he is an amazing photographer and person. We had the pleasure of having David as our photographer for our wedding in July 2022. David done our wedding on the 30th April 22 and between our photo shoot and wedding day he couldn't do any more to make us feel at ease on our big day. Between his funny humour and professional manner work ethic. He really made our day even with rain on the day David went above and beyond to make sure we still got the perfect photos and we can not wait to see them when he has them done.

Dave and Fiona were such a pleasure to deal with. From the beginning Fiona made everything so easy and they couldn't have been more understanding when we had to postpone. The first time we called down they talked us through the day and exactly what we wanted. The lesson in 'posing' for photos was hilarious but Dave showed us what a difference it made to the shots. He was great craic on the day, very efficient (no hanging around for ages) and put everyone at ease. The photos turned out great and we can't wait to get the album and prints (also so well explained by Fiona!) We would highly recommend them!

We had our wedding during Covid restrictions and David worked brilliantly with us. He was the photographer for three previous family weddings and ours was the fourth. He was brilliant from the moment we met him in his studio weeks before the wedding, right through to the last photos of the night. Every picture was effortless as he directed people with precision, whilst keeping everyone laughing. Absolutely amazing experience working with David and Fiona. They were both so helpful in the run up the the wedding and on the day itself David really went above and beyond. Before the wedding David gave us great tips and tricks to get the most out of our pictures. On our wedding day he was a great support, amongst a million other things he helped keep us on time, put my shy dads nerves at ease, he was very much part of our morning preparations. I really wish we could give more than 5 stars because david moore deserves 100+ stars. He is the most professional but funny man we have ever met his sense of humour makes you feel calm from the first moment we met him. Nothing is ever too much trouble for david he will do whatever be can to give you what you want. The day wasnt rushed by david and he allowed us to relax with our guest before the outdoor photos which was brillant and allowed us to wind down. One thing is for sure is that our day wouldnt have been complete without david and we cannot wait to see our photos.

Loved the DVD of our wedding pictures with the music in the background. I didn't hire a videogragher but watching back the DVD, was like watching the video of the whole day. I shred a little tear every time I watch it, as I am overwhelmed with happy emotions. He captured every moment of my beautiful day, which I will be forever grateful.

David is a true professional who knows how to have some fun. From the first time we met up with David and Fiona we knew we had made the right decision. They met up with us before the wedding and run through the timeline of the day and also give tips on how to stand and pose for the photos which was very helpful, it also saved time on the day. We also met up after to see a slide show of our photos (this will make you laugh and cry) and run through the process of choosing the pictures for our album. They make sure you have what you want for your final album.
For anyone who hates getting their photos taken, David is the man to get. His fun and laid-back nature along with his speed at setting up and taking the shots made it a joy to stand for the photos. He is also great with kids. He got some beautiful natural photos of them without them even realising. There are so many photos where he managed to capture people's personalities perfectly. The photos in Bective Abbey were just stunning. It is going to be very difficult to choose which ones go in the album. The after-party photos were an added bonus. It was great for the guests to have the option of getting a professional photo or a fun snap on the day. A nice keepsake for your guests.
I would highly recommend David for any bride and groom who want a laid back, fun day. David knows what needs to be done and he gets it done with no fuss. The detail in some of the photos was just incredible. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience. He was a joy to have around and both the mammy of the bride and the mammy of the groom were mad about him! (What more could you want!)

If you are looking for a photographer who gets the photos done quickly while having fun David is your guy! We met David at our engagement shoot which is highly advisable from our perspective, he goes through a timescale for your day, a rough list of photos you want, and then does a photo shoot and shows you how to stand, pose etc so that on the day you pose properly resulting in better photos.
David captured so many gorgeous photos of our day which we will treasure forever especially some fab photos of my 9 year old nephew who normally hates getting his photo taken but David played a blinder with him.
We are currently finding it very hard to only pick 70 photos for our album.
Not forgetting to mention Fiona, David's wife who we have dealt with from day 1, she is amazing to deal with.

We highly recommend David Moore. From the very first time we met him, we knew he was the photographer for us. He talked us through the plan for the day and had some really good suggestions. I was getting ready in my parents house and driving 1.5hrs up the road to the venue with a stop off along the way to get into the dress. I originally hadn't thought to have David at this stop off but thank god we did! David came to the rescue when there was an issue with one of the bridesmaid dresses and his "survival kit" of double sided sticky tape and safety pins saved the day! He made us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire day and he was very efficient about getting the family photos quickly so they could go back and mingle with guests. We are delighted with our photos and we have a huge selection with a variety of shots to pick from to go into in our album. Thank you David for capturing our day so well.

What can I say only get this photographer. David could not have been more helpful and professional. I cannot recommend David Moore enough! We met David 8 years ago when I was organising my brothers wedding. My brother and his future wife wanted to get married in Ireland but with living in Florida it was up to myself and my mother to organise the whole thing. From the start, David was calming and full of advice and useful tips. Their wedding was a huge success and a lot of that was down to Davids calming effects.
Myself and my husband married the following year and again, David was a life saver! The photographs he took were amazing and even made me look good which is no easy task!
Ever since, no matter what the occasion, David has done it for us! He is nearly one of the family at this stage!
