Lorraine the owner of Hollywood Beauty is a professional and experienced makeup artist.

Lorraine has studied makeup and beauty in Dun Laoghaire Senior College and LA Makeup Academy. Also has qualifications from Star Products International and Asu Nail and Beauty.

To keep updated with the latest trends over the years Lorraine has done further training in advanced bridal techniques with LA College of Creative Arts, Inglot, Aimee Connolly, Paula Callan and Danielle Mahon to name but a few.

Lorraine and her team have worked on many projects such as Rose of Tralee, Xpose, fashion shows, model portfolios and movies.

With 15 years of experience in the industry doing high fashion, bridal, debs and occasional makeup Lorraine has now found her true passion for bridal. Lorraine knows how important a day it is and she will do her upmost best to make sure you look and feel your best on your very special day.

With her calming and friendly presence there is no one else you rather there on the morning of your wedding. She is truly professional and such a perfectionist that you will sure to be very satisfied with the outcome.

Lorraine recommends every bride has a pre-wedding trial to ensure that you are happy and confident with the way you look and feel for your big day. She will take the time to talk with you about your skin care routine, how you would normally wear your makeup and what your desired look would be for the day. At the trial Lorraine will take some photos and email them to you so you can see how you look on camera.

With your special day being her priority, Lorraine will work to your schedule to ensure a relaxing calm start on the morning of your wedding. You will then be free to have that glass of bubbly in the confidence that you look amazing and that your makeup will last into the night.

Lorraine was an absolute dream to have as my makeup artist for my wedding . From the time we met at my trial I knew I'd pick the right person . She done such an amazing job not only doing mine but also my 2 bridesmaids aswell. She makes you feel so relaxed on the day . You will also have a great laugh with her too. Amazing work ! Understood all our needs and really educated us on our skins ! Made us feel absolutely beautiful! I never felt so beautiful in my life, I felt like a real life princess which is all I ever wanted getting married , Lorraine is a god sent ! I have never felt as glamorous when Lorraine showed me the mirror I actually couldn't believe it was me , she made me feel so at ease the makeup was absolutely beautiful, lasted all day long never moved. I've never had as many compliments. I have family members who have had their makeup done by Lorraine Young, old and everyone in between and have always been so happy with her, she really is a talented girl and a lovely person too !

Every bride should have a “Lorraine” in their life. From my initial enquiry right up to my wedding day I found Lorraine, professional, honest, friendly, and accommodating. After listening to what look I wanted to achieve, Lorraine completed the exact look at the makeup / tan trial. I was so happy that I could secure Lorraine for my big day for myself and 3 bridesmaids and Mother of the bride. We had a great build up to the wedding with getting our tan’s, make up trial’s prior to the wedding followed by the morning of the wedding, Lorraine kept me calm while making the morning memorable and enjoyable. Since my wedding day both myself and my bridesmaid have used Lorraine for tan & make up for different occasions. Lorraine is an absolute pleasure to work with I will highly recommend.

Lorraine was AMAZING!! From day one she gave me such comfort that I was going to feel and look amazing on our big day. The initial consultation was fab, getting a clear understanding of my skin, colouring, preferences in colours and make up. Lorraine was also so helpful in coming up with a skin care regime for me to follow in the build up to the wedding to ensure my skin was in tip top shape! When the day came Lorraine was so amazing. She helped everyone feel at ease that morning. Not to mention she made me feel like a million dollars ;) I’ve since had Lorraine do make up for our baby’s christening and a few other events and always feel incredible after. I’d recommend Lorraine over and over again, she’s the best!!

Lorraine was so lovely to work with for our wedding. She did makeup and spray tan for the big day. She listened to what we wanted and gave me a really natural look which was exactly how I wanted to look on the day. She checked in after my trial to make sure we were happy with how it looked and also the day before the wedding to make sure the spray tans were looking good. My mum and bridesmaid were also really happy with their makeup. The makeup lasted really well on the day and looked amazing in photos. Lorraine was also really easygoing and lovely to have in the house on the morning of the wedding.

Lorraine is a fantastic talented make artist. My bridal party was large and ages ranged rom 15 to 65, everyone was happy with their make-up and looked amazing. Lorraine has a lovely mannerism. Her calming but yet fun attitude made me feel so relaxed on the morning, she fitted in great. Her communication was excellent and nothing was a problem. I'd highly recommend Lorraine for any event especially Weddings as she is extremely talented at her job.

I cannot recommend lorraine enough, 2 weeks to my wedding day,I needed a new makeup artist asap ...it just so happened Lorraine's husband ( dmc events).. was my supplier for the day. I got talking to him about makeup haha while we wore discussing our final arrangements ...he recommended his wife and how amazing she was/is he contacted her straight away an lorraine was only happy to help out ... she had my day free I was over the moon ..lorraine had me out the next day for the trail.I loved it ...I was so happy ... with very short notice lorraine was on time, was well prepared everything went to plan and everything went smoothly ..lorraine was so friendly and helpful an calming throughout the morning ....we could laugh and joke and she would join in ...I was made feel so beautiful and comfortable . Lorraine was part of the atmosphere on my day I wudn change it for the world she is amazing at what she does and I will be contacting her every time theres an event ..I appreciated everything she did.... thank u so much again x

Lorraine, was fantastic she couldn’t have done more for me on the build up to my wedding day but also on the day. My 5 bridesmaids looked incredible and each of them were delighted with how they looked. My mother was beaming when she saw herself. My makeup was flawless how she made me look so good I have no idea. I had no sleep and loads of wrinkles and when I say she worked miricles I kid you not I looked the best I have ever seen myself. And I never give myself complements. That’s coming from a 40 year old. My Bridel party ranged in ages from 11 to my mother who is 75. She ensured young bridesmaids make was fresh and not noticeable. She really did amazing work. Can’t wait to book her again. Thanks Lorraine your one in a mill.

Nobody could have made me feel more beautiful than Lorraine on my wedding day, she arrived right on time and had a busy morning with a wedding party of 6 to do all by herself but she was so relaxed, happy and helpful throughout the whole morning. Every one of the girls loved their make up, she definitely used the best products available giving us all tips and advice on our skin throughout our application and it lasted amazing all day for each of us.. I couldn't recommend Lorraine enough!

I’ve been a client of Lorraine from Hollywood Beauty for many years now so when it came to choosing my MUA for my special day there was only one choice for me! My Wedding was abroad though and unfortunately I couldn’t fit her in my suitcase! Ever accommodating as she is she suggested some one on one masterclass lessons to help me perfect my look for my day. Her attention to detail and advise is second to none, she really is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to perfecting the perfect look and in my case helping me achieve it! My wedding morning was a dream with all her advise and tips making sure I had one less thing to stress about!! Can’t recommend enough, 5 stars not enough!

I live in The UK and had Lorraine recommended to me by the hotel my wedding was in. She was more than just accommodating with the dates I could and couldn't do. She checked in every few months to see how I was getting along in my preparation and offering advice where I needed it. Lorraine was extremely professional, took note of my dislike for non cruelty free brands and catered for all my needs, even providing qtips for when I cried! All of the wedding party loved their make up as did I and I would recommend her to anybody I know getting married or even just needing make up for an event.

Lorraine was fab. she did the full bridal party and my mother's make up. she knew exactly what would suit us all and we just let her get on with it and wow amazing. everyone at the wedding asked us who did our make up. even lasted for the second day ????. would highly recommend her and also she is so friendly and dab to deal with.

Lorraine did my make up and tans for myself and wedding party and we could not be happier with what she did! The tans were very natural and our make up was glamorous yet not over the top. She was very knowledgeable and able to fit others in the morning of the wedding without any issues. She was great craic to be around the morning of the wedding!

I couldn't recommend her any more highly - my tan turned out perfectly and our makeup (which we all loved) lasted throughout the entire day and night! Lorraine came to do make up by herself for 6 adults she was at our house early and dealt with the girls perfectly and worked around any issues that was thrown at her by the girls. Everyone's makeup was flawless and done to the highest standard . I was so happy with how beautiful the girls makeup looked. Lorraine stayed for touch ups till the end even helped the mother of the bride with her shoes no challenge to big or small for this lovely lady. Lorraine thank you for all your work on me and the girls, everyone complimenting the make up throughout the wedding.

Lorraine did myself and my Mam's make up the day after my wedding. She was a pleasure to deal with. The make up was exactly what I wanted, not too heavy and a smokey eye. Absolutely amazing makeup artist and a total pleasure to deal with. She did my makeup, my bridesmaids and my Mam's makeup on the morning. I loved the way she did all our makeup, it was exactly what I wanted. And didn't have to retouch it at all, it lasted right through to the next day. Lorraine is an absolute star and has such a way with ppl, she had us all relaxed on the morning despite the stress of the day and she even managed to convince my stubborn mam to let her apply eyelashes (quite the achievement). I honestly couldn't recommend her enough.

Lorraine is amazing! My now-husband and I decided on a whim to get married in Ireland (we're from Los Angeles, California) and we planned our wedding in about five months. I was nervous about finding a well-reviewed and reliable makeup artist who would still be available and my wedding planner recommended Lorraine. I'm so glad she did because Lorraine was extremely professional, warm, flexible and incredibly talented. She listened to me and gave great suggestions for doing my own makeup. I loved my wedding day makeup so much and wish she could come to LA to do my makeup for our wedding reception in the States!

Lorraine is simply the best. Her make up application is second to none but she's goes beyond just make up. She's a breath of fresh air to have in the house on the morning of your wedding. After looking back on my wedding video I realised that Lorraine done so much more on the morning than she was requested to do. Everyone's make up on the day was amazing and we all felt so comfortable with it. I cannot recommend Lorraine enough. Book her before it's too late xx

Don’t hesitate – if you’re thinking about booking Lorraine for your wedding do it now! Lorraine listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered it, she surpassed all my expectations. I went for a dewy & natural base with plenty of highlighter and soft on the contouring. I chose a thin black eye liner for the top of the lid and I went for a red lip. When we received our wedding DVD the professionalism of the make-up artistry shone through. Lorraine did a wonderful job on the Mother of the Bride Frances and my bridesmaids – each one requested something different and she tailored each look to their requests. My Mam never had her make-up done professionally and Lorraine made her look wonderful. She couldn’t believe the results. You will not be disappointed if you chose Lorraine for your wedding day! Highly recommend Lorraine. She is great at the make-up for any occasion! She did my bridal make-up which turned out fab. Exactly what I wanted and lasted the whole day. Lorraine did my hair and make up in July for my wedding and did a fantastic job! She had great ideas and advice and the trial and I knew I had nothing to worry about! She was friendly and professional and knew exactly what she was doing! On the day itself I felt like a proper princess! I'm so glad that she was available and that it was her who did it! I am an "older" bride so was feeling very nervous about getting my make up done professionally for my wedding BUT IT NEED NOT HAVE WORRIED!! Lorraine made me look fab. She took ten years off me. She also did my hair - which is not an easy task - and it stayed perfect for the whole day. I also have to admit that I fell into bed at an ungodly hour without taking off my make up but it was perfect for the next day also - so I got great value for money. Would highly recommend Hollywood Beauty.

Hollywood Beauty provided me with makeup, nails and fake tan. It was great to have them all done by the one person. It was so handy to have someone come to the house to do it all as I have two young kids and my wedding was on a bank holiday. Being an older bride I wanted a natural look and I found Lorraine very accommodating in this area. My tan was natural and flawless as was my makeup. Most impressed :-)

I used Lorraine for my wedding make up in may 2014. I found Lorraine very easy to deal with and very professional. She gave me the exact look I wanted and the same for Mob, my bridesmaids and my friend. 5 of us had our make up done that day and we all left feeling beautiful!! I got so many compliments about my make up and it also lasted all night which is defo what your looking for on your wedding day! I have already recommended Lorraine numerous times and will continue to do so. Definitely a highly recommended service!

Hollywood beauty, provided me with hair and make up on my wedding day, I didnt know what I wanted or how I wanted it, but Hollywood Beauty were amazing and so patient in helping me find the look I wanted for my big day, really professional, and extremely helpful. They went the extra mile, I was really nervous about everything going to plan etc. But Hollywood Beauty made sure I stayed calm and relaxed, and I started to enjoy the hair and make up process.Since my wedding in 2014, I have gone back several times for hair and makeup for other occasions, perfect every time!! :-) five stars across the board.

Hollywood beauty make up artist was more than I could have asked for. She was fantastic and made everything run so smoothly from my makeup trial right up until the big day. She stood out for me as the make up she does is just flawless and the best I seen when choosing a makeup artist. I would recommended her to anyone.
