Narni Fortress is a magnificent structure dating back to XIVth century, is the ideal choice for all those spouses who want a dream wedding reception in a location full of history and charm, which will help make one of the most special days of your life truly unique and unforgettable. 

Narni Fortress is located in a strategic position, with a 360° view of the surrounding hills and the city of Narni. We have several areas dedicated to events and weddings that can accommodate up to 250 people. The external areas consist of the two gardens and the Court within the mediaeval walls of the fortress. The Front Gardens have a capacity of approximately 80 guests and can they can host the civil ceremonies, the welcome drinks or the appetizer buffets. In the large side Garden the capacity reaches 250 guests and is perfect for hosting the banquet or the final party. The Court can accommodate up to 200 people and is certainly the most breathtaking location. You can dine under the "Maschio", the ancient watchtower of the fortress.

The Fortress offers also indoor spaces, with vaulted ceiling and frescoes on parts of the walls, where you can accommodate around 60 people, or the large “Hall of Honours” on the first floor, up to 160 people. Also this hall still has parts of the ancient frescoes. The night setting leaves you speechless! The lights on the façade highlight the original stones and makes this a unique location. The walkways that connect the watchtowers have one of the most exclusive views in Umbria and the photos of the Bride and Groom at the sunset are just incredibly beautiful! 

 All the events are designed on the uniqueness of the Couples, so as to create receptions that narrate, through the evocative location, the scenographic settings, the artistic and gastronomic choices, the passions and the unique and special alchemy at the basis of the union of the spouses. Civil Ceremonies can be celebrated on site, the Fortress is recognized as a municipal hall. You can choose between different indoor and outdoor areas. The Fortress offers all the services related to marriage, for example: professional wedding planning, event design transfers, accommodation for guests, etc. The Wedding Planning service is managed by the event staff of the Fortress. 

The Chefs of Narni Fortress are ready to satisfy the most experienced and demanding palates. The culinary proposals arise from a long and skillful work of choice, selection, preparation and presentation and above all from the encounter between the great experience developed by the Chefs and the best local raw materials. The drinks, which accompany the banquet from the welcome bouvette to the digestive bar and the cafeteria, are selected from the best Umbrian and Italian wineries. 

Located in a dominant position, 1 km away from the historic center, the Fortress was built starting in 1367 a.C. by the Spanish Cardinal Egidio Alvarez Albornoz, to restore the Papal hegemony on the central Italian territories at the end of the Avignonese captivity. The construction of the fortress is attributed to Matteo Gattaponi from Gubbio, a trusted military architect of the Spanish Cardinal Albornoz. In the centuries various Castellans commanded the fortress and also Popes such as Boniface IX and Niccolò V were hosted within its walls.
