Hi Laura, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. I’m sorry you had such a negative experience as a wedding guest on the day that LSQ performed at your friends wedding. This review has really surprised us and as our first ever negative review we wanted to take it seriously and address all the points you made. —— There seems to be pieces of information that you may have not known before leaving your review. Firstly, the couple booked a String Trio for their ceremony, not a String Quartet. That is why three players were there, not four. A string trio is three players usually made up of two violins and one cello. —- The couple had not told us the wedding ceremony had been changed to another church. We arrived at the church we were told and set up. When we found out (luckily from a passer-by) that the correct church was in next town, we packed up and rushed to this church making it there at 12:55pm. This is why we arrived at this time. Had we known the correct church we would have been there much earlier as we always arrive 40 minutes before a ceremony.——- The bride was 30 mins late to the ceremony so we were relieved to be able to play all of our pre-ceremony music and get settled after what was a very panicked start for us. ——- For the bride and grooms exit we played the full recessional piece they had requested. There was no cutting things short or rushing out the door. All of the bridal party had exited the church by the time we had finished the piece which is about 2.5 minute long. ——-Your comments about our performance on the day is of course your opinion, however we have never had any complaints about our playing. The high quality of our playing is always remarked on and we pride ourselves on this. We are all masters graduates who have been working as professional and very successful musicians for 20 years, playing at weddings all the time. As you will see from our videos on social media and website, we do not play how you described. We feel that maybe these comments were made in frustration for what you thought was us being foolishly late for your friends wedding, which is not the case. —— Thanks again, LSQ
