Make Up by Muireann

I would highly recommend Muireann, she did a fantastic job for my wedding make up! I especially loved the way she did the makeup on my eyes! I dont think ive ever got so many compliments!

Muireann did such an amazing job of my own and my bridesmaids make up on my wedding day on 5th September. She was so professional, but also had a laugh with us all morning! My sisters are still talking about the 'amazing' eyelashes. Thank you so much Muireann for helping to make the morning of our wedding so stress-free x

A massive thank you for being so wonderful on my wedding day. I love doing my own make up so it's something that I'm really particular about. However, I knew immediately when I had my trial that you would be fantastic as you listened carefully and made me feel so comfortable.
On the day, you were so calm and organised and my wedding morning was so stress free and I loved it as a result! I felt totally confident that my make up would be perfect and it was, as were the bridesmaids! They were also so happy and our make up lasted all day and all night....!
I also want to thank you for helping when one of my little flowergirls was upset! and loaning me a frame for my photo booth at the last minute too!
I couldn't have asked for more! Amazing!

To Muireann and Marta,
I would like to say a huge thank you to both Marta and Muireann for helping to make my day special. I felt like a V.I.P on the high make up chair. The make up looked very natural on everyone and Muireann listened to what everyone wished to have done.I didn't have to touch my make up the whole night long.It was perfect. Muireann is a very pleasant, professional lady and knows her job very well.

Marta is excellent. The bridesmais showed her pictures of what they wished for Marta to do with their hair and she did an amazing job. Their hair was identical to the pictures the girls showed her. I loved my hairstyle. I told Marta what I wanted and she did excatly what I asked. It lasted the whole night long and both my hair and make up was admired by many.
I would really recommend both Marta for hair and Muireann for make up from The Hair Lounge and make up by Muireann, Caltragh to everyone. They are excellent at their professions. They are a great team with amazing results.

I got married in July 2014. Getting married in a town I wasn't from was initially daunting as I wasn't sure who I could trust to do my hair and make up. I found John Cawley in the hair lounge and he introduced me to Muireann their make up artist. They both put me immediately at ease and listened to what I wanted and made suggestions as to what would suit me ( I'm not great with hair and make up). I had two trial with Muireann and John, mainly because I enjoyed the pampering so much, they even offered to organise things in Sligo if I needed :-). Muireann gave me instructions on how to get my skin ready for the big day and was available to do my nails the day before. On the big day they turned up nice and early and perfectly relaxed they worked on me my mam and bridesmaid. I was delighted with the result and they waited until I was fully dressed to ensure everything was perfect. Muireann even ended up helping decorate the wedding car with flowers and getting a wayward earring into my ear. I would highly recommend John and Muireann they are a great team with amazing results.

A massive thank you to the very talented Muireann for being part of my wedding. In a time that can be quite stressful she was a God send and her easy going nature and bubbly personality really ensured that only myself but my whole bridal party and mum felt fully relaxed in the lead up to the whole day. I really enjoyed all of our pampering sessions with Muireann, between nails and tans, waxing and make up and it was a gorgeous and very special time shared with my beautiful bridesmaids and mum. I could not have asked for more, she really went the extra mile even heard she was blow drying the label of my mums shoes the morning of the wedding....complete legend, I would have no problem recommending her to anyone. I had the privilege of having the very talented & professional Muireann do my make-up for my wedding last April! I was fortunate enough to have Muireann as a guest at my wedding! She kindly obliged to travel to Spain to ensure I looked my best on the day! Nothing was a task for her & she kindly did a trial before I left for Spain & also a couple of days before the wedding to ensure I was 100% satisfied on how I would look on the day! She was the first to the bridal suite where she made feel at ease! She got along soundly with the hairdresser & photographer & took part in the banter with the wedding party! She was patient with my 4 year old when she pestered her too help & also allowed her to 'experiment' with her products!! All in all we were all thrilled with the result of how natural yet made up we all were. She listened to what my bridesmaid, my mum & I wanted & that is exactly what we got! She touched me up after she had the rest of the wedding party done & again before I walked into the church! Muireann is truly exceptional at what she does & gives her honest opinion when asked! I would highly recommend Muireann to future brides as this is the one day all us gals want to look beautiful so why not trust somebody who is a talented make up artist like Muireann! I would recommend Muireann in a heart beat & look forward to my next formal occasion where I'll be beautified by her again!! x

I can't recommend Muireann highly enough! She did make up for myself, my 3 sisters and my mother for my wedding in June and it was flawless, even into the early hours! The wedding was in Lough Rynn Castle so she travelled early that morning from Sligo to accommodate us all. She is so professional and helpful and made me feel very at ease. She even stayed until just before the ceremony to do any touch ups that may have been required. She also did some of my beauty treatments in the days before the wedding including waxing, spray tan and nails and did a great job with these also. I will definitely be going back to Muireann for any beauty treatments needed. She is a fantastic Make Up Artist and Beautician :)

My appointment with Murieann and the team in The Hair Lounge was such a wonderful start to my wedding day. Muireann is excellent at what she does. I was quite nervous as I hadn't managed to fit in a trial before the big day and I generally don't wear much make up . I needn't have worried. I was delighted with my make up and was still receiving compliments about my make up and hair at 3 o'clock in the morning! When Muireann had finished my make up I was presented with a glass of bubbly and John started my hair. I had a trial a few weeks before the wedding so John knew what style I wanted. John is so easy to chat to and we had a few laughs. My bridesmaids had arrived at this time and there was a lovely atmosphere in the salon. Fiona, Martha and John all did a brilliant job and the girls make up for the day was flawless thanks to Muireann. I can't recommend them highly enough :)

Muireann is such a wonderful girl. She's great craic and very easy to get along with. She puts you at ease straight away and listens to everything you have to say. Muireann and her team looked after me so well on my wedding day, I got so relaxed I almost forgot what was happening until my cousin appeared at the door saying it was time to go to the church! Muireann did my nails the night before and made sure that all the pre-day preparations were done, in order to make the day-of run as smooth as possible. She takes time doing your make-up, ensuring that you are happy with results and she is great at taking on board your own ideas and suggestions, which is a big thing for me because I have come up against know-it-all make-up artists before. Needless to say, I highly recommend Muireann and her team - true professionals!

Muireann was my make-up artist on my wedding day and I was delighted with the result. She was so helpful when I explained that I have very sensitive skin and took great care to test out all the products in advance of the big day. I would be quite fair skinned and had my tan done a couple of days in advance on Muireann?s advice and everyone thought my tan was very natural looking on the day. Muireann is very professional in what she does but at the same time has a lovely nature and makes you feel very relaxed. My mum was quite stressed in the run up to the wedding but after a pampering session with Muireann a couple of days before the wedding she left the salon feeling like a new woman. I couldn?t recommend Muireann highly enough.
Carol was my hairdresser on the day and made a fabulous job of my hair. It was exactly as I wanted it and everyone commented on how nice it was and how smooth and shiny it looked. I had a trial with Carol for the style I wanted a couple of weeks beforehand, afterwards she was able to cut my hair to the length that would best suit the particular style and as my hair is quite fine recommended that I use volumising shampoo the day before the wedding. She was then able to perfect it on the day.
The girls had the champagne on ice when we got there and it was a very enjoyable and relaxing morning and most importantly we left there looking fab.

Muireann was my make up artist on my wedding day & for several occasions after that as both I & my family were so impressed with her professional attention to detail . She puts you at ease straight away , during your trial she takes time to make sure you are happy with the choosen foundation making your skin look flawless & natural. She listens to exactly what you want nothing is too much trouble. And most importantly your make up looks great & lasts the whole day .shes has such a relaxing influence. I would highly recommend muireann & look forward to the next occasion I have!
