Marie was a real professional very the very start. I wasn't even going to get someone to do my makeup but I changed my mind towards the end of the planning. Marie listens to you about what kinda makeup you would like and tailors a makeup style just for you. When I meet Marie for my makeup trial she gave me a skin routine based on my skin and recommends products that you should use. One product that I started using worked a dream and my skin is so much more hydrated now. Marie really knows her stuff. On the day of the wedding, Marie called and set up in my house in a quiet room so that everyone got to feel like a movie star being done up for their role. And the quiet time that I had away from what can be a mad morning full of excitement was great! Marie did an amazing job on everyone makeup and even gave my flower girl some lip gloss to make her feel part of the experience. My now husband couldn't get over how defined my eyes were and loved all the attention that they were given. I would highly recommend Marie Jseph services fro any bridal party on their big day.

I am delighted with the service that Marie Joseph provided. From the first moment that she came to my house the morning of my wedding she took charge of bringing some quiet moments for all the bridal party. Marie set up in my sitting room and dealt with one person at a time. She made everyone feel special and gave them time to relax and enjoy the experience. It was lovely to have that time. My makeup was amazing. Marie spent a lot of time on my eyes and this was something that my Now husband noticed first. He would like me to look like this all the time! Marie not only looked after all the makeup but she also was perfect at the timings of getting ready. Everything went like a dream and having someone that knows how weddings days go is always good! Would highly recommend using her service.

I cannot recommend Marie enough. On first meeting her in September 2016 when I was a bridesmaid, I did not even hesitate in booking her for my wedding the next year. She has such a broad knowledge of the business and listened to my ideas, transforming them into reality. Having suffered with problematic skin through my teenage years she devised a skincare regime in the run up to my wedding which ensured she had the perfect canvas to work with. Her relaxed nature while being conscious with time keeping ensured we had time for a glass of fizz before leaving for the venue. It was an absolute dream. It must also be mentioned that she is a fabulous photographer and really knows what makeup photographs well, something that I think her experience in the business gives her. This is a huge factor that makes her stand out from the rest. My bridesmaids looked incredible along with my mum and I felt like a confident bride. Needless to say my sister has booked her for her wedding next year. ????

Start the search for your Makeup Artist and Hairstylist early once you' ve booked your wedding. Book a makeup trial. Look for experienced Make Up Artists like Marie Joseph and look at their portfolio of work. Do lots of research in bridal magazines and WOL before choosing your Makeup Artist.
In my experience from my first contact with Marie Joseph she was a true professional, she responded to me immediately. She was very accommodating and exceptionally talented in her field.I was offered advice on a skincare regime pre wedding and in general. I was offered different options for makeup styles and bridal looks and Marie always took my views into consideration.
Marie did the makeup for me, my wedding party and my Mum and everyone looked beautiful and the makeup lasted all day. Marie even made my flower girls feel part of it by applying a touch of blush and lipgloss.

Marie was great. It was lovely having her with us getting ready. Everybody loved her. My makeup stayed put well into the wee hours!
I would recommend going reasonly well in advance for your trial so that she can advise on what our skin needs. IT made a big difference for me.

"I was a 'wipes and cheap moisturizer' kinda girl before meeting Marie and having her do my wedding make-up and I would have found the experience intimidating if it weren't for her warmness. Before even planning my wedding make up I was given a master class in skincare and given so much support and encouragement. Marie's expertise and knowledge comes across strongly in her ability to read your style and being intuitive as to what is 'too much' or' too little' for your personal tastes as well as knowing when to push you ("You can't wear a dress like that without a red lip!"). Having her around on the morning of the wedding was fantastic, there was some great conversation and laughs and all the girls and the mammy were delighted with their looks. I cannot recommend Marie more highly to prospective brides."

Marie was absolutely fantastic. She made each of us feel like the best version of ourselves. She was fun to have around on the morning and slotted in well, but was super organised so there was not time stress despite there being 6of us to be done. Very aware of keeping things bridal and not getting carried away with trends that will age photos. Very responsive to what her clients want also. Highly recommend. Hope some of my friends choose her so i can have my make up done by her again.

Marie is amazing! She was a dream to deal with from my trial through to our wedding day. She made me, my bridesmaids and my mum feel incredible on the day. Her attention to detail is second to none. She even went to the trouble of giving me a full skin care plan following my trial. My make up needed no top ups for our whole wedding day She was great fun to have around on the morning of the wedding and made sure we were all relaxed and enjoyed the build up.

Marie did my make up for my wedding in September this year. I was delighted with my makeup and the makeup she did for all of my bridesmaids and my mum. The makeup looked amazing in person, in photos and stayed in place all day! Marie is really organised and it a total pro. She is great to have around on the morning of the wedding and kept everyone on time. I would highly recommend Marie to any bride to be :)

From the moment that I met Marie, she got my vision of how I wanted to look on my big day and delivered it perfectly..I looked like me but a better version! Marie gave great advice on skin care from our first meeting and followed up my emails and queries in the following months in the lead up to the big day. She was able to accommodate last minute eye lash requests from bridesmaids, expertly handled a difficult landlady (of our B&B) and she helped keep me calm by reassuring me and ensuring we kept to our tight schedule. I loved how Marie made myself and the bridesmaids look - we felt a million dollars. There is a reason Marie has been in the wedding business for so long - her experience and expertise are unrivalled. Marie was great! Had super timekeeping and time management on the morning of the wedding, the makeup was more than perfect for myself, my bridesmaids and my mum. She even popped a bit of gloss and 'blush' on the two little flower girls to make them feel like part of it all. I loved my makeup that Marie did and would recommend without hesitation!

I met with Marie Joseph for the first time at the 2014 Citywest Wedding Fair and straight away I knew that I wanted to work with Marie for my wedding day. From the trials to the wedding morning nothing was any trouble or too big of an ask. Marie's professionalism, experience and sound advice shone through and was very welcomed - it made the bridal party feel so at ease and relaxed on the morning of the wedding. As well as being a terrific make-up artist, I found Marie to be an understanding and very thoughtful person. The word 'artist' is definitely appropriate in her case, as she made each of us look our very best selves in a natural way. Marie was very sensitive towards my bridal nerves about the make-up and she took time during the trial to explain her make-up processes and to connect with my vision for the wedding.
I was so delighted with my make-up on the day - it was perfect - and I am quite a difficult person to please!! My make up was as fresh as 4am as at 10am - without a single touch-up. I would highly recommend Marie to all brides, bridesmaids and mothers of brides. She was a lovely, calm presence on the morning of the wedding, running everything smoothly for us.

I found Marie through a word of mouth and I could not have been happier with her. She did my make up exactly as I wanted (I never wear make up and was going for a very natural look). My sister ( who is big into make up) and my mum were delighted as well. Thank you, Marie, for making my wedding day this extra bit more special.

Marie was absolutely brilliant at doing the make up for my Wedding at the start of August 2015. She was so organised, professional and kept us all very relaxed. When i first went for my trial she introduced me to a skin routine which i have been using ever since. She has a great eye and i loved my make up both at the trial and on my Wedding Day.Marie also did my mums make up and 3 bridesmaids. They were all delighted with her. Marie had everything down to a T with time on the day and had us all looking amazing and made me feel very relaxed! Just brilliant, i would definitely recommend her!

Marie is an amazing artist and can do anything when it comes to make up. 7 people needed to be done on the morning of my wedding and marie completely took it in her stride no stress no dramas. She made us all feel at ease and her work was completely flawless! I would highly recommend any bride to go with marie, if you want perfect make up on your day then she is your lady.

My sister used Marie 10 yrs ago when she got married. When it came to researching make up artisit, Marie Joseph came out on top. Marie has consistently retained her proffesionalism, kept up to date with all relevant make up styles and can advise on make up for all skin types. When meeting Marie, she could tell the exact moisturiser I used without asking me which was incredibly impressive. Make up in Marie's passion. The guidance and care that Marie gives is phenonimal. Marie made me feel so confident on my wedding day and without Marie, my day would not have been the same. I was so pleased my make up lasted all day and night.

Marie Joseph is an incredibly talented make-up artist! She did the make-up for my wedding in August 2014 & I cannot recommend her enough. My 4 bridesmaids, my Mom & myself were so happy with our make-up - everything was perfect.
She was so professional on the day - her timing was great - she arrived on time & had all 6 of us ready to leave the house when we were supposed to! She was a pleasure to deal with & helped keep us all calm & relaxed!

Marie was an absolute pleasure to deal with right from the trial i had with her before the wedding(she gave me skin prep & tips to have my skin in the best condition it could be on the day & helped me pick the perfect foundation that gave me coverage but looked very natural) right up to my special day, she was so professional but with a comfort to have in my house on the morning of the Wedding, she was very calming which is an extra bonus for any bride.
She also took some beautiful pictures throughout the morning, that she kindly emailed to me afterwards which i thought was a lovely thing to do as even my photograher hadn't got some of the photos Marie thought of taking.
I couldn't recommend Marie enough to any brides to be.

I chose Marie to do our wedding makeup based on the recommendation of a friend. I really enjoyed the first trial which I had well in advance. Marie did a full skin analysis and sent me a skincare programme to follow. My skin was in excellent condition as a result and I continue to follow the programme post-wedding! I learned a lot about make-up application at the trial including how to apply my day to day make-up and apply eye make up. This was so useful for my hen weekend and in the days before and after the wedding!
Marie was absolutely brilliant on the day of our wedding. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she advised me wisely about managing time on the morning of the wedding! This helped the morning to run smoothly and meant I was ready before the photographer arrived. The whole day flowed smoothly as a result. I have five sisters (one sister was bridesmaid) and two additional bridesmaids. Marie and assistant made such a wonderful job of all our makeup and this really shows in the photographs! We all learned something new about make up application on the day! Marie used a range of foundations and it was brilliant to see how well they suited each person! Mother of the Bride especially enjoyed having her make up done. Marie was also extremely obliging when my sister in law phoned from the airport to say she had forgotten her make-up and managed to do a wonderful job on her make-up under pressure!!
Finally a word on the bridal make-up!! My make-up lasted all day despite the fact that it was the hottest day of the year (30deg)! I did not need to reapply make-up and just topped up my lipstick as needed! All in all Marie was fabulous to work with and I would recommend her to any bride!

If you are looking for an experienced, professional make up artist who will have you looking amazing on your wedding day Marie is your woman! I found her at a wedding fair and so glad I did...she is the one supplier from my wedding day who I continually recommend to other brides as she did such a brilliant job on me and my bridal party. The make up was exactly as I had wanted (only better!), flawless, lasted all day and photographed beautifully. Marie arrived on time, was a calming influence on a crazy morning and had us all ready to go with time to spare. Book her early as she is very popular!

About 11 months before my wedding, I did what nearly every bride does and attended every single bridal fayre I could in the Leinster area! I was in search of the perfect suppliers for my big day. Call me old fashioned but I like to meet people face to face if I'm going to work with them, especially if it's for something that's so important to me. While browsing the stands I stopped at Marie's. What caught my eye was that this artists experience was displayed so proudly and what a wealth of experience it showed. What struck me first about Marie was that She was so warm and friendly. I felt comfortable around her immediately and she didn't try to over sell herself. I booked in for my Trial date and at the time I wasn't sure what look I wanted for my big day. After voicing this to Marie she helped me figure it out. She created a look for me that she described as a better version of myself. This was exactly what I truly wanted to achieve. I wanted my husband to be, my family and friends to recognise me as the same person only more radiant and defined. On the wedding day Marie did not disappoint. Arriving early and with her warmth and friendliness she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Having complete trust in her I knew this was definitely one part of the day that would turn out just as I wished. Looking back a year and a half later I'm grateful to Marie for making my experience and the morning of my wedding so pleasant. Xx
