I just have to say a huge thank you to our celebrant Pat Browne Clarke for making our wedding day absolutely amazing! From the very first meeting on zoom, he was so warm and welcoming, and they really took the time to get to know us, our boys and our story. I felt like we knew Pat and he was one of our own, couldn’t have asked for anything better!

On the day itself, Pat created such a beautiful atmosphere and led the ceremony perfectly. It felt so personal and special, and we loved every moment of it. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how lovely the ceremony was!
Pat had the ceremony live streamed which was amazing as our family abroad could still be a part of our day and he was able to send us the recording the following day.

Pat was brilliant and very helpful from our initial meeting to our wedding day. He helped us plan a very personal ceremony involving our children and nieces and nephews. He created a very relaxed atmosphere on the day. The guests raved about the ceremony all felt it really captured us as a couple. Our ceremony is a wonderful memory to have. Pat was extremely helpful in the lead up to our big day and conducted a magical and memorable ceremony for which we are very grateful. Took a lot of the planning pain off our hands allowing us to concentrate on other parts of the wedding. Would recommend to anyone to use his services. It was an extremely personal ceremony and many guests commented on how good Pat was.

Pat was amazing! We wanted a very relaxed ceremony and Pat was the perfect person to help us with that. All of our guests complimented how great he was. He really let us make the ceremony our own. He was super fast with email replies, which is so helpful when you are in the midst of wedding planning. His organisation and reliability helps you to feel at ease

Where do I even begin with Pat? From the moment we met on Zoom (we live in Liverpool), we knew that we had to pick Pat. His charismatic nature makes him a joy to be around and he instantly puts you at ease, feeling as if you're all lifelong friends.
Once we had booked, Pat was always really responsive and quick to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. We met on Zoom since our original meeting to discuss everything and again, we always felt at ease.
Of course, this was no different on the day of the wedding itself. He was so calm and reassuring that we didn't feel any pressure or nerves on the day. Our day was catered to exactly who we are as a couple and we were able to have fun with it.
Furthermore, Pat set up a Zoom link (we love zoom!) for our family and friends that couldn't make the journey to the wedding for various reasons. This allowed us to have them part of our day, even from New Zealand. He also downloaded the footage for us and provided us with a personal link to watch it whenever we want, and to share with family and friends.
We are so lucky that we stumbled across Pat because we really couldn't have asked for more from him. We are so grateful that he could be part of our day and help us to make so many happy memories. You're incredible, Pat!

We had an absolutely magical wedding, and that was in no small part thanks to Pat! When we first chatted, I told him what I hoped our wedding would be like and he crafted our perfect ceremony. It was romantic, personal, and intimate. We really wouldn't change a thing.

In addition, Pat went above and beyond for us by filming and editing our wedding video! We are so lucky that he was apart of our big day.

Pat was amazing at helping us plan and performing the wedding ceremony. He allowed us to have complete flexibility with the ceremony and there was the amazing advantage that he will record or livestream the ceremony for you at no extra cost. He was also really organised and we got to use the handfasting ribbons from his own wedding so we didn't have to get our own! We were worried about the weather in advance of the day and he had no problem with us potentially changing the time of the wedding at last minute to take advantage of any potential dry spells for photos - thankfully we didn't need to do this!

Where to start! Pat absolutely made our wedding day. He was so effortless to deal with in the run up to the wedding day itself. We met Pat via zoom in advance of the day to run through the ceremony and Pat gave us plenty of options for how our ceremony could be tailored to the way we would like it to be.

On the wedding day itself he was an absolute professional while being bubbly, friendly and personable to us and all our guests. A good few guests actually told us how much they enjoyed the ceremony, it felt very personal, warm and light hearted which is exactly what we wanted. He is an amazing celebrant and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Pat also gave us the option of setting up a Zoom service at no extra charge for those who couldn't be there and he provided a really lovely recording of the ceremony itself (again at no extra cost) for us to keep which we absolutely love having.

So glad we choose Pat as our celebrant/solemniser. We would definitely recommend him. He is very personable and professional. All our guests commented on how good he was. He allowed us to make our ceremony as personal as we liked, including a fire ceremony. He also provided a Zoom service for those who couldn't be here and saved it as a video for us to keep which was a lovely gesture as he didn't charge extra for it. Plus because he is a solemniser he can legally marry you wherever you like which is also a bonus.

Pat was the celebrant at our wedding and we were blown away with how at ease he made everyone feel , he's so kind and has a sparkling personality that really shines through in the ceremony . 5 stars isn't even enough to evaluate how amazing Pat is at his role .

We had our wedding day on 6 November 2020. To say this has been a stressful year of wedding planning would be an understatement. We made so many changes over the months leading up to the wedding it was nerve wracking. However, the one aspect that neither of us had any doubts about from day 1 was having Pat as our Celebrant. From the very first zoom meeting right up until our day, Pat was there for us in more ways than we could have ever expected. Further, when it came to the wedding day, everyone said it was genuinely one of the nicest ceremonies they have ever been at and they truly loved how much it was all about love.?


Everyone had amazing things to say about Pat. They said he was warm and welcoming and that he really made everyone feel at ease (which is especially amazing given the year we've all had). They loved the atmosphere that Pat created from start to finish and we did too.?


Coming from a traditional Catholic background, we had never been to a humanist ceremony before our own and so we weren't 100% sure what to expect, but Pat made it easy for us to enjoy every little moment. For that we cannot thank him enough. Pat was also beyond kind enough to Zoom our wedding to many of our family and friends who could not make it in person. It was incredibly thoughtful of Pat and I know that it meant the world to those who could still share the day with us in some way because of Pat's innovation.

We can honestly say that our Wedding day was all the more special for Pat having married us and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Humanist Celebrant.

Pat has been a personal friend for many years, so we knew we wanted him to officiate at our wedding. We also wanted the ceremony to be legal on the day so that our wedding day was really our wedding.
He is a natural celebrant, relaxed and efficient while maintaining his normal fun personality. He made sure to be inclusive of our guests who were expecting a more traditional wedding and provided exactly the ceremony that we wanted to celebrate our special day.
He's busy, if you can get him for your special day, you should.
