We are beyond happy with chosing Pat as our Celebrant. He was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He helped us so much in the lead up to the big day and answered all our many questions. We would highly recommend Pat to any couple.

We were delighted to have Pat involved in our big day! He was so professional in the run up to the wedding, giving us a great feel for how the ceremony would flow and tailoring our ceremony to make it personal to us. He arrived early on the day and it was great to chat ahead of the ceremony to calm the nerves. Pat was very relaxed and efficient which created a great atmosphere. We wanted an informal atmosphere and we got exactly what we'd hoped for. He was pleasant to deal with in the run up to the wedding and guests were complimenting his manner on the day. We liked that he was flexible depending on the weather and other matters that could only be decided on the day.

Pat was amazing! We wanted a very relaxed ceremony and Pat was the perfect person to help us with that. All of our guests complimented how great he was. He really let us make the ceremony our own. He was super fast with email replies, which is so helpful when you are in the midst of wedding planning. His organisation and reliability helps you to feel at ease

Pat was very helpful and kind, he really talked us through our ceremony in detail which helped to calm any nerves we had- we had a couple of zoom calls and he was always happy to have a chat if we needed. On the day, loads of our guests commented on how calming he was, the ceremony ran very smoothly and we were delighted.

Pat married us in November and our guests are still talking about how wonderful he was! He took the stress and worry out of the ceremony and everyone was so relaxed. We would highly recommend Pat and we hope to cross paths with him again. A true gent :)

Pat made our wedding so incredibly special. He worked with us to create a ceremony that really reflected our relationship. As we are based in England this was all the more impressive. Pat was very flexible on when we could hold zoom meetings and answered all of our questions. A massive added bonus was that Pat made a video of our ceremony that we can share with people that could not be there on the day (a live stream was also available) We couldn't recommend Pat more highly!

Where do I even begin with Pat? From the moment we met on Zoom (we live in Liverpool), we knew that we had to pick Pat. His charismatic nature makes him a joy to be around and he instantly puts you at ease, feeling as if you're all lifelong friends.
Once we had booked, Pat was always really responsive and quick to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. We met on Zoom since our original meeting to discuss everything and again, we always felt at ease.
Of course, this was no different on the day of the wedding itself. He was so calm and reassuring that we didn't feel any pressure or nerves on the day. Our day was catered to exactly who we are as a couple and we were able to have fun with it.
Furthermore, Pat set up a Zoom link (we love zoom!) for our family and friends that couldn't make the journey to the wedding for various reasons. This allowed us to have them part of our day, even from New Zealand. He also downloaded the footage for us and provided us with a personal link to watch it whenever we want, and to share with family and friends.
We are so lucky that we stumbled across Pat because we really couldn't have asked for more from him. We are so grateful that he could be part of our day and help us to make so many happy memories. You're incredible, Pat!

Pat made our intimate ceremony so special. He took time to video call us before the big day and make sure he had a list of everything we hoped to include. His attention to detail was fantastic and he made everybody feel so relaxed. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how whitty Pat was.
Pat was also kind enough to video the ceremony for us, as we had no videographer, and sent us a link to share with family who could not attend.

We had an absolutely magical wedding, and that was in no small part thanks to Pat! When we first chatted, I told him what I hoped our wedding would be like and he crafted our perfect ceremony. It was romantic, personal, and intimate. We really wouldn't change a thing.

In addition, Pat went above and beyond for us by filming and editing our wedding video! We are so lucky that he was apart of our big day.

We recently had Pat help us celebrate our wedding and could not recommend him enough. He was professional, friendly and helpful. Pat guided us through everything and made us both always feel at ease. Nothing we asked of Pat was ever too much!! We really appreciated all of the effort he went to, including the live streaming and edited video after. All of our guests, (including some who had never attended a humanist ceremony before), could not stop complimenting Pat and the ceremony.

Pat was amazing at helping us plan and performing the wedding ceremony. He allowed us to have complete flexibility with the ceremony and there was the amazing advantage that he will record or livestream the ceremony for you at no extra cost. He was also really organised and we got to use the handfasting ribbons from his own wedding so we didn't have to get our own! We were worried about the weather in advance of the day and he had no problem with us potentially changing the time of the wedding at last minute to take advantage of any potential dry spells for photos - thankfully we didn't need to do this!

For our wedding we had the joy of having Pat Clarke-Browne as our humanist celebrant. Rewind back to when we were trying to arrange everything & I felt a bit lost as it can be quite overwhelming when you start looking into booking everything that goes with a wedding. Pat from the 1st time we spoke was very down to earth, genuinely helpful, full of knowledge & just a nice person and was why we decided that he would be the perfect person for our wedding ceremony. Nothing was too much trouble. He was there in plenty of time & was set up before I even got there, He included all of our family in the ceremony which was so important to us and especially our 2 young girls who he made feel very much involved. It was a beautiful ceremony which was so relaxed and at times (at precisely the right times) very funny (?,) Our family said they have never heard or seen a ceremony like it before and thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony. Pat was a savour for our wedding,which we had to massively cut back on with covid to a smaller number and less of the frills. Pat was able to provide all of what we needed as a videographer photographer and celebrant we couldn't believe our luck.. his patience and kindness on our wedding day gave us such relief and calm just what we needed. Such a pleasure to deal with with quick replies to any questions we might have,nothing was ever a problem! we couldn't recommend pat enough it felt like he was part of the family that we knew him for years! What a gentleman. He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Can't recommend him enough.

Where to start! Pat absolutely made our wedding day. He was so effortless to deal with in the run up to the wedding day itself. We met Pat via zoom in advance of the day to run through the ceremony and Pat gave us plenty of options for how our ceremony could be tailored to the way we would like it to be.

On the wedding day itself he was an absolute professional while being bubbly, friendly and personable to us and all our guests. A good few guests actually told us how much they enjoyed the ceremony, it felt very personal, warm and light hearted which is exactly what we wanted. He is an amazing celebrant and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Pat also gave us the option of setting up a Zoom service at no extra charge for those who couldn't be there and he provided a really lovely recording of the ceremony itself (again at no extra cost) for us to keep which we absolutely love having.

Dealing with Pat took away any added stresses about the big day as everything was put at ease as soon as soon as you talk to him. Provided great level of comfort about how exactly the ceremony would go and also with Covid restrictions and no live music allowed he stepped in seamlessly managing the playlist for the ceremony. He provides plenty of great ideas for different options to make your day a little more unique and his delivery of the ceremony itself was perfect and we had great feedback from our guests. The added perk of the video of the ceremony which he did for free with 3 cams set up around the room and then edited together was also really special and generous!

So glad we choose Pat as our celebrant/solemniser. We would definitely recommend him. He is very personable and professional. All our guests commented on how good he was. He allowed us to make our ceremony as personal as we liked, including a fire ceremony. He also provided a Zoom service for those who couldn't be here and saved it as a video for us to keep which was a lovely gesture as he didn't charge extra for it. Plus because he is a solemniser he can legally marry you wherever you like which is also a bonus.

Pat just made our wedding day , he is an amazing celebrant . So bubbly and friendly . He put everyone at ease . He was even helping me with the train on my dress. He just goes so above and beyond . However it doesn't go unnoticed , everyone we met who knows Pat was telling us what a fantastic person he is . 5 stars isn't even enough stars to really represent how good he is at his role.

Pat thank you so much for the recording. We went back to work on Sunday and it was a horrible cold,hard smack back to reality, watching your video on Monday night was the highlight of our week and brought all of the magic back to us.

The day was surreal and I felt a little overwhelmed, there were loads of details that went over my head,so watching the ceremony back was epic, as I could relive the day again and actually take everything in properly.

We had our wedding day on 6 November 2020. To say this has been a stressful year of wedding planning would be an understatement. We made so many changes over the months leading up to the wedding it was nerve wracking. However, the one aspect that neither of us had any doubts about from day 1 was having Pat as our Celebrant. From the very first zoom meeting right up until our day, Pat was there for us in more ways than we could have ever expected. Further, when it came to the wedding day, everyone said it was genuinely one of the nicest ceremonies they have ever been at and they truly loved how much it was all about love.?


Everyone had amazing things to say about Pat. They said he was warm and welcoming and that he really made everyone feel at ease (which is especially amazing given the year we've all had). They loved the atmosphere that Pat created from start to finish and we did too.?


Coming from a traditional Catholic background, we had never been to a humanist ceremony before our own and so we weren't 100% sure what to expect, but Pat made it easy for us to enjoy every little moment. For that we cannot thank him enough. Pat was also beyond kind enough to Zoom our wedding to many of our family and friends who could not make it in person. It was incredibly thoughtful of Pat and I know that it meant the world to those who could still share the day with us in some way because of Pat's innovation.

We can honestly say that our Wedding day was all the more special for Pat having married us and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Humanist Celebrant.

He guided us through all aspects of the planning, from the legal side right down to the wording and order of the ceremony. Pat has been a personal friend for many years, so we knew we wanted him to officiate at our wedding. We also wanted the ceremony to be legal on the day so that our wedding day was really our wedding.
