I am Marta, a Cake Decorator and the proud owner of a thriving Cake Shop— “Piece of Cake”—located in Dublin's Finglas Village. My passion for baking started eight years ago.
This newfound hobby quickly turned into a business that I ran from my own kitchen for four years. In 2020, I finally took the plunge and opened "Piece of Cake", a dream come true.
I specialize in baking and decorating cakes for individual orders, ensuring that each one is unique, just like the person it's for.
I source the highest quality ingredients and put my heart into every creation.
One of my favorite aspects of my job is creating wedding cakes. There's something magical about being part of a couple's special day, and it's a responsibility I don't take lightly. I work closely with each couple, getting to know their likes, dislikes, and vision for their wedding. This allows me to create a cake that not only tastes delicious, but also reflects their unique love story.

We loved our wedding cake from the bottom to the top! Visually and taste wise! Marta did such a wonderful work capturing the elegant style we were looking for! Her communication was excellent and made sure to address our needs while confirming all the necessary details. The taste…we still can’t get over it! One of the best, if not the best red velvet cake we ever had! The donuts were so stylish and tasty!

Marta created our wedding cake and we can’t thank her enough for all the work she did. She was a dream to work with from our very first meeting, even suggesting ways we could cut costs, so we always felt like she was passionate about providing the best cake for us, rather than trying to upsell us. I gave her some very rough ideas of what we wanted design wise and she delivered the most gorgeous cake. I had heard people say that your actual wedding cake will never be as good as the tasters you try but that was not the case here, it was delicious and we were talking about it for days afterwards!

I absolutely cannot recommend Martha enough. She is an amazing person. She made us feel so important and worked hard to make sure every detail was correct. Our cake was DELICIOUS !!! I would highly recommend Piece of Cake !

We had such an incredible experience working with Martha and Piece of Cake for our wedding. Our cake was so delicious and the design was incredible. She really helped to make our special day just perfect.

We would love to recommend Piece of Cake. We had only 3 days to find someone who can prepare our wedding cake !!! That was extremely short notice and Marta did it. We all love the look of the cake and also fantastic flavour. Thank you again. Highly recommend,
