I am Rev. Barbara Allen (Rev. Babs). I am an Interfaith Minister (strictly non-denominational), Celebrant and Legal Solemniser of Weddings in Ireland.
My aim is to create for you a one-of-a-kind Wedding Ceremony which reflects your personalities, both as individuals, and as a couple. Together we will use Rituals, Music, Readings, Poetry as I unfold your story of Love, to design the perfect, personalised Wedding Ceremony, which will be memorable and will always hold a significant place in your hearts. I will guide you through the legal formalities which apply in Ireland. I will liaise with the venue, and I will ensure that the Ceremony runs smoothly and effortlessly.
On the Day, the Ceremony will be professionally held by me, in an atmosphere of love and joyfulness, which is entirely stress-free. I will meet with you regularly, as we work together, and I will always be available to answer any questions. Creating Wedding Ceremonies and helping couples to plan the perfect Ceremony for them, is my passion. I absolutely love it! Together, we will build a bond of mutual trust, as we navigate this wonderful time in your lives - the planning will be fun and inclusive.

I don’t know where to begin with Rev Babs. First of all thank you for marrying us !!!
You are just amazing, from the get go and originally meeting you you put us both at ease and then from the second I saw you on my wedding day I felt so calm.
Every single person that was at the wedding said it was the most emotional lovely wedding ceremony they had ever been at. People even said they cried more then they did at their own wedding!
You put together the most gorgeous ceremony and the way you delivered it was just something else it brought mine and Gavin’s relationship to life. Myself and Gavin and everyone who was lucky enough to be there will never forget it.
All I can say is thank you for everything you are just amazing at what you do and if I could do it all again in the morning I would.
Anyone looking for a wedding celebrant I would highly highly recommend Rev Babs/ Rev Barbara Allen.

Barbara is an absolute lady who delivered our ceremony just beautifully. It was all done so easily & professionally and took a lot of work from us, planning a wedding can be a stressful period but when you book the right celebrant it's certainly not. Barbara rang us on zoom and took our stories gave us samples of poems & readings etc within a few days sent us the draft of our ceremony and it all fell together beautifully on the day. 100% recommend Barbara for an intimate & personal ceremony

Barbara Allen was the celebrant for our wedding at our family home in Kildare in August, she was so wonderful to work with. She was so helpful in suggesting the layout of the service, tailoring it to suit us and our story. Barbara is such a kindhearted lady, she made us feel so at ease and we were so happy with the service on the day. So many of our guests shared how beautiful it was and how real it felt.

Barbara performed our wedding ceremony in June. After seeing her performing a wedding ceremony previously, there was no doubt that we were going to book her. She holds the guests in the palm of her hand. Guests were commenting all day on how beautiful and personal our ceremony was. We had Barbara as our celebrant in May 2024, there aren’t enough words to say how much we adored having her part of our big day. Her attention to detail, the time she gave to us as a couple and the beautiful ceremony she put together for us was second to non. We are just about 4 months past and people are still commenting on how beautiful and emotional our ceremony was and how she based it solely on us as a couple and our beautiful daughters. We are both so, so happy we booked Barbara for our wedding. From the moment I inquired to Barbara about being our celebrant right up to our wedding day Barbara could not have been more helpful and brilliant to deal with. Barbara really took the time to get to know us both over our zoom calls, asking us about our story in detail and how we met to really get a sense of us as a couple before finalizing details for our ceremony and was available at any time to answer any of our questions and to give advice on different aspects of the ceremony.
The ceremony was everything we could have hoped for and more, it was so beautiful and all of our friends and family absolutely loved it and are still raving about it 6 months later.

Many of our guests came up to us afterwards and said that they were very impressed with the celebrant and that they had never seen a service as special and unique as ours. I love that she has videos on her website, it gives a real sense of her personality which shined through the whole time we were planning our ceremony and on the day itself.

Nothing was too much trouble in the build up to our wedding day. Barbara gave us great support in designing a ceremony that was personal to us, but still covered the traditional flow and set up of a wedding.
On the day of our wedding Rev Babs was brilliant, interacting with the guests before the ceremony, delivering like a pro and leaving us with memories of a beautiful individualised service.
Could not praise her high enough. She is amazing!

Naomi and I got married by Rev Barbara Allen in Tulfarris Wicklow in August 2022. Rev Babs as she like to be to called made the ceremony so personable and really enjoys getting to know you before your big day. We got married in May 2022, we found Rev Babs on a facebook group but also noticed her on Wedding Online. From our first meeting she was absolutely great, explained to us what she does, she was very understanding and we tailored together the ceremony, it was light and engaging a very live ceremony. I was delighted to do the Hand tie knot as this is an ancient practice as well as the sand bottle, Ill treasure it forever. I cant thank Rev Barbara Allen enough for creating and conducting such an amazing ceremony. Barbara was so warm and made everyone feel at ease . She took the whole room on our journey from when we first met to when we got married . All the wedding guests said it was the best ceremony they had ever attended . Its was so beautiful, emotional , funny and included all of our family and guests . Barbara talked us through the whole ceremony and suggested the sand ceremony, hand tie and blessing of the rings. Rev Babs is absolutely amazing, a lovey person inside & out, she made our ceremony very personal and all guests had something lovely to say about her.
She gave me a polite little nudge at the right times to make sure the right stuff was happening as in getting the green folder and going through the ceremony. I was never overwhelmed by all that is involved with the ceremony, Rev Babs made it all so easy for me.
She worked with us and taoilered the ceremony to what we wanted.
She made all the guests feel so at ease too and the kids really liked her too.

I knew nothing about civil ceremonies before talking to Barbara. She guided us in choosing the perfect ceremony for our family. Our wedding was beautifully romantic.Barbara was a dream to work with, even settling guests before I arrived. We even had a guest have a change of heart on the idea of marriage after witnessing how intimate and personal our wedding ceremony was.I highly recommend Barbara for any special occasion you need to celebrate.

Barbara was lovely to deal with from start to finish. She was excellent on the day, making us feel at ease. All our guests complimented the ceremony. I cannot recommend Barbara enough she definitely made our day special.

We are so thankful that we found Rev Barbara Allen's website. The lovely bubbly way she came across was exactly what we wanted. And we were not disappointed Rev Barbara puts you at ease and helps to make a personal ceremony. Everyone commented on how lovely and personal our wedding was. We would highly recommend Rev Barbara Allen. From the start she was available, helpful and supportive. Ensuring that we completed all paper work in time and that everything was in place for our wedding ceremony. I could not recommend Barbara enough. Having such open communication and flexibility with what we wanted from our day. Together we created a beautiful ceremony, and included a couple of rituals Barbara had suggested, and it could not have been more perfect.

Barbara was absolutely amazing! She made our day so personal and we felt so special. It was beautiful and dealing with her prior to the wedding was so easy and hassle free. All the guests were asking me about her as rhey all thought she was fantastic. The way she spoke to us and about us made us feel amazing. I couldnt imagine a better person for that role!

From the minute we spoke to her about our wedding plans to the days itself, she was 100% part of our journey, helping and advising us and added some ideas to make our day even more special.
On the day she was like a part of the family and made all of us feel so comfortable, calming my nerves and taken time to make both sides of our families not just the wedding party feel included while at the same time not taken the light off the happy couple. She is amazing at her job, so welcoming and I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
