We couldn't have picked a better celebrant than Romy. She put us at ease from the very start and has the most amazing positive personality. We were asked if she was a family friend numerous times after the ceremony, which is testament to how personal Romy makes the day. We laughed nearly the whole way through and she made the whole ceremony so special.

She was the celebrant for a friend's wedding earlier in the year and all of our other suppliers raved about her before the big day so we knew we were in for a good experience, but she still exceeded our expectations. We can't speak highly enough of Romy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We were planning our wedding from the states, so everything was based on Zoom calls and emails, but Romy made it all so seamless and personable for us throughout the whole process!

From our very first zoom call to our wedding day she was an amazing point of support, full of help and guidance for everything related to the wedding ceremony and the logistics of organising and planning a wedding and ceremony.
On the day, she was on site early, moving between us both and all our families and friends, keeping us updated as to how the other was getting on, and ultimately managing getting everyone seated and ready for the ceremony.
And as for the actual ceremony itself; we were not even prepared for how incredible it would be. Romy took our words and made them into an incredible story along with advice and tips for our marriage ahead. Our older generation of guests who would be accustomed to a church ceremony were absolutely blown away by the personalised and intimate ceremony which celebrated our story and our love. It was the most amazing start to our wedding celebrations.

We got married on 20th April in Clonabreany House and Romy was our Celebrant. From the beginning, Romy was very attentive and quick to respond to any queries we had in the build up to our big day! Romy delivered such a beautiful, personal and relaxed ceremony for us that was the highlight of the day for so many of our guests! We had so many people comment that it was the best wedding ceremony they had been to, and I have to agree! The ceremony was without doubt my favourite part of the day, I had a big smile on my face for all of it (when I wasn't laughing or wiping away tears!)

Gabrielle gave us the most beautiful, touching and love filled ceremony. It was more than we hoped for; it was funny and so personal to us. Our guests laughed and cried with us and we even had two couples ask us how we managed to find her and what sort of ceremony it was so they could start planning for their own weddings. When we set out to plan our wedding we were set on having a very quick ceremony with not a lot to it. Thanks to Gabrielle, it was actually the highlight of the day. She helped us compose a wonderful and very personal ceremony that created such a tremendous feeling of warmth and joy. Even going as far to spritz the ceremony room with lavender before the ceremony. Lavender was a huge part of our theme and we didn't even ask her to do this. It just goes to show that she will go the extra mile for you. We had our beautiful micro wedding ceremony with Romy during level 5 restrictions. Even though it was a very uncertain and stressful time, planning the ceremony with Romy was very easy and enjoyable. We could pick different vows, rituals or readings from a huge variety of ideas on her website. Romy was able to adapt our plans so that we could include the family members who were there on the day. We did a candle lighting ceremony which included everyone (6guests) instead of just the two mothers. This worked out really nice! Whenever we spoke or emailed Romy in the weeks leading up to the wedding, when we didn't know what numbers would, or what the ceremony would look like with 6 guests, Romy reignited our excitement with her enthusiasm for our special day. We never envisioned having such a small wedding but it was perfect. Romy lights up the room with her positive energy and will make any couple feel very loved and special on their wedding day.

Our wedding took place in Rathsallagh Wicklow private wedding chapel by Romy mc Auley. She was very natural with the ceremony and included everything we wanted we did a candle service who everyone lit a candle to join both our families together. She knew exactly how to do it. I felt from the first time I contacted her I knew that she had the whole ceremony in control. I nearly didn't contact her because she was using a .co.uk address but she is completely based in Ireland. Our first wedding venue was to be in Connemara and she had no problem going there but we ended up having to change everything due to Covid and she worked with us every bit of the way. I felt she made our wedding day that little more special.

From our first contact with Romy and Gabe we were met with genuine enthusiasm and support. These women really love what they do! They?re professional as well as warm and friendly. Organising our wedding during a pandemic inevitably led to uncertainty and changes in plans. Romy and Gabe supported us while we made difficult decisions and were flexible and understanding as we pushed our wedding day back and then brought it forward again! They were extremely helpful in answering any questions we had and gave us the guidance we needed to prepare our ceremony. Their website members? area provided us with plenty of ideas and possibilities for readings and rituals to customize our ceremony. Before our wedding day, Gabe spent time getting to know us and listening to what we wanted. On the day, she delivered a personalized and beautifully written ceremony with warmth and sincerity, leading to plenty of laughs and just a few tears! Gabe was kind, calm and reassuring to both of us as well as our guests, making everyone feel comfortable and involved in the ceremony. Thanks to Gabe and Romy, our ceremony was more than we could have hoped for and will be remembered as one of the highlights of our day.

Our day wouldn't have been the same without Romy.
From the moment we met Romy to finally making it to our big day, she was our biggest cheerleader! Having to cancel our original date 5 days before the big day just as the pandemic was really kicking off, and a further 2 cancellations, there was never a moment where we had to think that she wouldn't be there... Romy was just as determined to be there on our big day as we were!
Romy truly gets to know each and every one of her couples and then makes the most personal ceremony you could think of. It's like being married by a family member really and that makes the day so much more special (especially when most of our families couldn't be there with us). There was never a dull moment throughout the ceremony and both the husband and myself felt totally relaxed.
I personally had never been to a civil ceremony so I hadn't a notion what to expect and I wouldn't change a thing. From the moment Romy came to see me in my room before hand to see how I was doing, to her laughing with us throughout the ceremony, to pulling over her car to get another photo with us as she was leaving... honestly such an amazing person. You know you picked the right person to be part of your day when she is one of the main memories that brings a smile to your face.

We got married in The Shelbourne Hotel in December. Romy was excellent an solemniser. She was very communicative and informative as to the requirements prior to the wedding. She also gave us plenty of opportunity to make the day our own. On the day itself, she was a lovely presence and we were delighted with the ceremony. We would highly recommend her!

Romy truly was a god send. Due to the pandemic it was our third attempt at a wedding and a change in the rules, caused us to have changes again before the big day. Romy helped us throughout the process and made sure that our day went off without a hitch. We ended having a very small ceremony. We met Gabrielle in February 2020 to plan our ceremony for October 2020. We knew we made the right choice when we met Gabrielle. Gabrielle really listened to us and was very caring and positive during the lead up to the wedding. We were both very relaxed with the planning as we knew we were in safe hands. My husband and I planned our destination wedding in Ireland at Kilkea Castle from Texas. Planning a wedding overseas can be quite stressful, but with the help of amazing vendors it is so worth the effort. Wes and I have been trying to find the words to fully express our gratitude for the role Romy played in our wedding day. The ceremony was beyond beautiful and far exceeded all of our expectations. Where do we begin.... Romy was recommended to us by close friends after they attended a wedding in August 2018 where they were simply blown away by how beautiful it was and really could not speak higher of the celebrant. Fast forward 12months and we are that couple praising Romy and a Beautiful Ceremony (its all in the name really)!

From our first telephone discussion I knew this was going to be something special, Romy sent us a few questionnaires both as a couple and individually where we could give her feedback on one another, we met in November around 8wks before our big day and from there she created the most beautiful and memorable celebration, one we will treasure forever! Although we're only married a little over 2wks I've had so many wonderful compliments from family & friends who attended the day, I wish I could share all of our pictures from the ceremony to show just how much love and laughter was in the room - all made so very special by Romy.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Romy throughout the entire wedding process. I really wanted our Solemniser to see who we were as a couple and to reflect that in the service. Romy spent alot of time getting to know us and I really felt that came through in the service, it was not in anyway forced or generic. I spent a lot of time researching different celebrants throughout Ireland and knew Romy was the best after the very first conversation (even though she lived furthest from our venue-we really wanted her). She made me feel instantly at ease and gave us so much guidance and flexibility over our service from start to finish. She balanced our ceremony beautifully; it it was light and humerus at times (without being silly), romantic, emotional and incredibly memorable. She diffused all of that pre-ceremony tension from the room immediately. We have had so compliments about our service in the past month, saying how beautiful and relaxed it was. If you want a very personal and at the same time uplifting ceremony then book Romy. We met her once 2weeks before the wedding and filled in her questionnaire and that resulted in guests asking us how long Romy knew us because she made the ceremony sound like us being friends for a long time. Everyone commented on how touching the ceremony was but also how funny and lighthearted. Romy stayed around for a long time afterwards just chatting with everyone and they all loved her. She is so easy going and checked in with us on the day to make sure we know what will happen and we?re relaxed, she fixed the flowers for the grooms party and asked everyone very nicely to put the phones away so when I walked in I could see everyone's face instead of a sea of phones and I will never forget this experience.

Romy was such a sweet delight to work with. What I really enjoyed and appreciated most about her was that she was incredibly invested in and eager to ensure that our ceremony was perfect for us as a couple and not just something cookie cutter. Its hard to put into words how much Romy's contribution made to our wedding day. From our first meet ups and conversations prior to the wedding we both felt like we had known Romy for years and wouldn't have wanted anyone else as our celebrant on the day. The wedding service was tailored so uniquely to ourselves and our relationship. Many of our guests commented on how special it was. Romy went above and beyond on the day, meeting with us well in advance of the service and helping out with everything from Groomsmen button holes, helping stage pictures to advice and putting us at ease. We both feel very grateful to have had Romy with us on our wedding day.

I couldn't recommend Romy high enough! I wasn't super involved as a groom but I know Romy was easy to work with for my bride and the Skype chats that I joined were really a good time! We had some specific wants in mind for our ceremony after dreaming together of it for 10 years before saying 'I do'. Romy incorporated all of this and gave us great advise and direction on everything! We really loved her idea of a ring warming for our vibe and unique set up being from the states and bringing our family abroad with us. Romy made our day very special!

We approached Gabrielle and Romy about 10 months before our wedding, and from then on our experience with them was second to none. We live in the UK and when we came to Slane to do a food tasting at our venue, Gabe met us to discuss how we might like the ceremony to go. What was scheduled for a short chat ended up with us talking for almost 3 hours! We talked about our individual stories and those of us as a couple, our loves and interests, and those of our families and friends. Gabe took us through all the ceremony options and we discussed readings and music. It was such an enjoyable and warm experience, we really felt so comfortable and familiar with Gabe from the outset.

We had lots of communication back and forth in the interim, with Gabe being super patient with our sometimes slow responses! On the day of the wedding, Gabe arrived hours early to get a feel for the venue and the ceremony space. She met with me (the Groom) 2 hours before the ceremony to go over everything and make sure we were all comfortable, before meeting with the bride to do the same afterwards.

The ceremony was just stunning. We lost track of how many comments we had from guests afterwards about how beautiful, personal and uplifting it was. We went for a non-religious ceremony, but Gabe helped us to sprinkle references to religion in there to make those religious members of our family feel welcome and part of the ceremony (my dad read a religious prayer of the faithful, for example), and this was remarked on so positively by those family members.

We couldn't recommend Gabe and Romy highly enough, and we will 100% be recommending them to any friends getting married in the years to come.

We found Romy a few months before our wedding. She was vey flexible in terms of arranging face to face calls as we are not based in Ireland. She took time to understand what we wanted as a couple. It was very easy to work with Romy and I would definitely recommend her.

Our photos are evidence to this - I didn't stop laughing all day. It was perfect in every way.

Given the tight turnaround we hadn't planned on anything more than a registry office signing (with a more traditional wedding to follow at a later date) but Romy helped us transform it into the most perfect day, one which all our guests agree would be hard to beat!

My wife and I travelled to Ireland for our wedding ceremony and got married at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon. About 6 months before the wedding we began searching online for celebrants and talked with many different companies. Some of the companies seemed too Corporate for what we were looking for and others just didn't seem like the right fit. We found A Beautiful Ceremony and set up a Skype call with Romy. The second we began speaking with Romy we knew we had found our celebrant. She was very personable, warm, and engaging. She was everything we were looking for!

The months preceding the ceremony Romy was on point sending us information and documents to help us select the format of the wedding. She provided excellent guidance and was by far our favourite vendor to work with leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding we made the decision to go with an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn of the Falls Hotel. There were about 20 friend and family that travelled with us, so it was a nice smaller ceremony. The morning of we were an absolute mess, running to nearby towns to pick up tuxes, the wife hurrying to finish hair and makeup, issues with the sound system, etc. Romy arrived right on time (after a 3-hour drive!) and very patiently prepared us amidst all this chaos! She was a very calming rock during this stressful time and we greatly appreciated it. The ceremony started, and Romy took the reigns with total grace. She made the wedding very personal and special by guiding us through the knot tying, vows, and ring exchange beautifully. Her words were moving, and she did an excellent job keeping everyone engaged. The ceremony was absolutely wonderful, and I don't believe it could have gone any better! At the closing of the ceremony we signed our documents right there on the lawn and said our goodbyes to Romy as we were headed off to take pictures by the coast. Both my wife and I didn't want her to leave as she is such a joy to be around!
