Ruth sang on my wedding day in April, for both the ceremony and drinks reception afterwards, accompanied by a pianist. She was a pleasure to work with, from the first contact all the way up to the day of the wedding, Ruth was responsive and no question was too much. Ruth's beautiful singing during the ceremony created such a lovely atmosphere, and the music during the drinks reception really added to the good vibes on the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ruth for your wedding, you won't go wrong! Thanks again Ruth for everything :)

We were absolutely thrilled to have Ruth O'Brien perform at both our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. Having already known Ruth, I was already aware of her wonderful personality and professionalism, but seeing her in action on such an important day completely blew us away. Every song during the ceremony was performed with such feeling and depth—it added so much emotion and beauty to the service and genuinely moved many of our guests (and us too!).
At the drinks reception, Ruth seamlessly switched gears, creating a lively, upbeat atmosphere that really set the tone for the celebrations. Her ability to read the room and adapt her set was outstanding, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was throughout the day.
Ruth is not only an incredibly talented singer but also a dream to work with—warm, reliable, and so passionate about what she does. We feel so lucky to have had her as part of our wedding and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking to add something truly special to their day.

Ruth was amazing from start to finish. She was so responsive and always quick to help if we had any questions. Her website is brilliant and gives a list of suggestions of songs for each part of the ceremony. We had a church ceremony and Ruth was phenomenal on the day. Her voice is absolutely beautiful and I had so many guests compliment her to me after the ceremony. Lastly she took away all stress on the day as she arrived at venue early, set up herself and played away music as guests arrived so there was always background music. She is such a wonderful singer and would really recommend to any getting married.

Had enquired with people but none stood out with regards our music requests until Ruth replied with so much excitement over our music choice another Disney fan and we couldn't have been happier to find our match for our big day. As we had disney songs chosen we had feared singers wouldn't do it justice but we knew Ruth would have no issues as she loves disney as much as us. Ruth did not disappoint on the day I tear up when I listen back to our wedding entrance songs, our guests still talk about how beautiful she sang we had the pleasure of having her for the reception too she really got the crowd going. We can't thank Ruth enough for her patience many song changes and song worries but after a chat she made us feel so at ease and nothing phased her. I cannot recommend Ruth enough you won't be disappointed having Ruth part of your special day ????

Now the most important part for any couple looking for a wedding singer... Ruth quite simply has the voice of an angel, the passion and emotion that she puts into her singing is amazing. Guests have been commenting to me since about how good she was and there are tears in many eyes for at least two of the songs she sang. We really couldn't recommend Ruth enough, she is an absolute lady to talk to and deal with 15 out of 10 if that was an option.

From the moment we started talking to Ruth she made everything so easy for us, bare in mind we were talking through Covid and was unsure if we could even have music. Ruth guided us in the best direction and gave us samples of music. When we had our chosen songs it was no problem to Ruth, we changed some songs in the last minute and there was no problem with that either. (everything was done with a smile) Ruth replied to each message in a timely manner and noting was to much for her. We opted for the piano on the day which also went down a real treat. Our day went perfect and we knew we had chosen the perfect person to sing for our ceremony and drinks reception. A beautiful mix of songs with an incredible voice. We could not have asked for anything more from Ruth. So professional, friendly and a joy to be around.
