From our inception, our aim has been to present a stunning collection of gowns in a luxury setting at affordable prices. We are passionate about everything bridal and this passion has always extended to our determined commitment to meet both our bride's budget and style.The atmosphere at Smart Brides is calm and contemporary, the perfect ambiance to consider and choose your gown. The boutique was recently remodelled to incorporate three separate exclusive-use bridal suites off our showroom which are elegant, wheelchair friendly and stylish and afford a relaxing and enjoyable bridal shopping experience. Our bridal consultants have been part of the Smart Brides Team for several years, are sure to make every bride feel at ease. They strive to make each bridal fitting a memorable one. Fittings are by appointment only so that each bride gets the one at one time and attention deserved.

Really helpful, kind found my dress the first time shopping and I loved it. Easy payment plan set up so I could pay off the balance after my deposit.all the ladies were so lovely and attentive.

Carole and the girls at SB are amazing! I live overseas and they managed to squeeze me in for a last-minute appointment the day before Ireland went into lockdown again in December 2020...Carole was so friendly and helpful and created a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a great selection of dresses and are reasonably priced compared to other bridal shops. Would highly recommend them.

I would definitely recommend smart brides, I found the girls really nice, very helpful and knowledgeable about what styles suit different body shapes. I found my perfect dress in September and just collected it last week, can't wait to wear it!!!!!

From the minute I stepped in the door of this beautiful store I just knew this was where I was going to find "The Dress"!!! I brought my Mum and two bridesmaids with me and they were equally as blown away with the five star service we received. The bridal lounges are super luxurious and the range of dresses to choose from was just amazing. After trying on six dresses the consultant had chosen for me I fell madly in love with my dress and knew it was the one. The consultant helped me finish the whole look with veil and accessories and I could imagine what I was going to look like on the day.Smart Brides could not have been more helpful I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a stress free experience with the added feel of luxury.

Was delighted at first when I found my dress as Lynne was amazing... Pity the same can't be said for the rest of the staff members. Had nothing but issues with staff and trying to make an appointment once I had picked the dress and they got a big chunk of the cost. Upon collecting the dress I was with another member of staff and she was useless!! It was the opening weekend of the move to their new premises and they were offering additional discounts for goods purchased, I wanted to get my bridesmaid jewellery but they only had 3 of the sets I wanted (I only wanted 3 anyway) but if I purchased them they had none left for display, they were awaiting more to come in so I did them a favour by not taking the items from stock then and cleaning them out of display and I was advised that they would contact me when more came in. They did not contact me, Ii had to chase them and then they refused to give me the additional discount. I am still waiting on the receipt from my dress as the printer was also down the day I collected it. Its such a pity that bad staff and bad decisions made the lasting impression for me as they do have a good selection of dresses but if I had my time back I would not have purchased as I felt like it was all about me until they got my deposit and then they didn't care less. Not impressed!!!

Had the most amazing experience here looking for my wedding dress. I do not like clothes shopping and was dreading the event but I had the best time here ?lovely, bright space, ?stunning dresses in every style you can imagine and I am happy to say that I found my own dress here the girls were brilliant, so patient and helpful. Thank you so much for helping me find my perfect dress!

Went to Smart Brides to try on some dresses with my mum and bridesmaids and I cant speak more highly of the place. It was my first place to try on dresses bu I have since tried a few more places and there were no where near as good service as the wonderful ladies in Smart Brides. I was never rushed once, helped throughout the entire time with dress ideas, getting in and out of the dresses and having styles picked out for me based on what I did and didn't like.
I also think i found the dress so I will definitely be back down. I would recommend to anyone and already have!

Fantastic service, friendly and professional consultants, and a huge array of dresses at fantastic prices. Really couldn't fault smart brides in any way. Never imagined that I would walk into my first bridal appointment and walk out with my dream dress but I did.

Beautiful shop, beautiful dresses and beautiful staff. It ended up being a total stress free experience despite me expecting the total opposite, I absolutely fell in love with my dress the minute I tried it on! Highly recommend Smart Brides!

Highly recommend Smart brides! The girls are fantastic, so professional and informed, they make your experience picking a dress fun calm and exciting with zero stress! The dresses are beautiful! Kelly and Adele were so helpful. They were so nice and friendly, I really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish as soon as we walked in the door.
They weren't pushy and helped me to pick the dress that I was happy in. And I LOVED the dress I chose - for a fraction of the price of other bridal boutiques.
Everyone commented on how fab the dress was and some of my friends have already gone to Smart Brides to get their dresses for their own big days.

The two ladies in Smart Brides were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a great range of dresses at good value prices and a nice, comfortable changing area. It is great that they give longer appointments than other stores as you really need the extra time when choosing a wedding dress. I have happily recommended this shop to others after buying my own dress there.

Went to Smart Brides in Portlaoise and was very apprehensive about going wedding dress shopping to begin with but the manager, Lynn, put me at ease from the moment I walked through the door. The store is beautiful and all the dresses I tried were amazing, any number of them I would have happily bought. I am so looking forward to wearing my dress on the day. The time and attention to detail that I received was second to none, and I was so happy with this experience. I would highly recommend this store to any bride!!!
