The Little Love Knot Bakery is based in County Cork. Louise's love of baking started when she was five years old but it wasn’t until she started making birthday cakes for her children and Christmas cakes for family and friends that her passion for cake artistry began.

Louise has made many wedding and occasional cakes at her bakery and delights in creating stunning works of Art individually tailored for her couples so they can realise their dream. Louise is passionate about using high-quality ingredients in every cake, where everything is made from scratch. Her ethos is that not only does the cake have to look amazing it must taste exceptional too. All the cakes are made with high-quality ingredients, such as Belgian chocolate, free range eggs, to name a few, and are baked fresh to order. Louise is a cake artist who specialises in cakes with a modern, innovative design. She loves to incorporate elements of Sugar Art which are currently trending. Louise also creates customised wedding cake toppers to add the finishing touch to your wedding cake.

It takes a huge effort to plan a wedding or a celebration and The Little Love Knot Bakery prides itself on its exceptional customer service, where Louise is available for consultation with the couples as frequently as they need. The bakery is HSE approved/registered, fully insured and Louise is HACPP certified to Level 2. She will be delighted to create your dream wedding cake and/or cake topper.

Louise made my wedding cake and we were delighted with it! She took time to make sure the design was perfect and really helped to decide on ideas. We had lots of comments on how beautiful the cake was on the day and how lovely the flavours were! I would recommend Louise to anyone looking for a wedding cake, the whole service was excellent from start to finish.

Louise was amazing from start to finish. I booked her after attending my friend's wedding last year and I'm so happy I did. Our cake looked gorgeous and tastes delicious. We got married on 23rd July 2022. Louise made our cake. I cannot recommend her highly enough. From start to finish she was professional, so lovely & helpful to deal with. She responded to any enquiries efficiently & immediately and she made the whole process so easy. The cake was so delicious, everyone commented on how good it was and it looked exactlythe way we wanted, amazing!. She even helped with the cake topper & collected it for us! All in all I couldn't recommend her highly enough, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we couldn't have been happier with the cake.

I found Louise's here on this website and I booked her to look after our wedding cake and I am very glad I did! She was such a professional from the very start. She was very good to reply to enquires and any questions I had. Everything was arranged through phone calls zoom and email given the pandemic and she was very good to contact. She gave us a selection of choices for the taster box of which we had to pick 3 for our cake. All o which were very tasty! I showed her photos of two cakes where I wanted the look to be combined and it came out brilliantly. She was great to respond to questions about serving sizes and cake toppers. She even collected the cake topper for me after I placed the order. She even sourced her own flowers to decorate the cake to match the bridal bouquet. The cakes tasted beautiful as well, especially the chocolate biscuit cake which wasn't too hard. She delivered the cake the morning of the wedding to the venue and text to say it was completed as well. Louise was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. We absolutely loved our cake, it looked amazing and tasted even better. We asked for a semi-naked cake with berries, it was fabulous. Everyone was talking about how delicious the cake was too. We would definitely recommend this bakery and will be ordering some more cake in the near future.

Louise made the process of choosing our cake very easy. We were unsure of the kind of design we wanted and with her help we choose the perfect cake for us and it was beautiful on the day. We had wedding booked for June and had was cancelled obviously. We then were abke to source a date in August but had difficulty contacting tge original baker. Then I came across Louise... She put me at ease strsight away as I was aware there wasnt a lot of time to make a cake. Louise was like a long lost sister or friend. She was genuinely interested in our story. She made our cake lovingly with our story coming to life on the three tiers. It was hard to choose what type to go for madeira etc but again Louise came to the rescue advusing of what would keep and be a crowd pleaser etc. We went for chocokate biacuit bottom layer folliwed by homemade lemon curd and then madeira with rasberry coulis on top. It was the talking point of all our guests. Nothing was too much for Louise and we went ahead without a tasting and went on her advise through email/phone. She also delivered tge cake to the venue whuch was a relief. All in all we loved the cake as did our guests..Im at home now post wedding with a cuppa Im still having my cake and certainly eating it! Only regret wss not meeting Louise on tge morning of the wedding as I told entourage I needed 5 mins but wasnt aware she was in the Hotel... Many thanks Louise.. Therese

Louise made our cake topper for our recent wedding and i must say she did an absolutely amazing job! Due to Covid19 we lost our original supplier but then we got so lucky to find Louise and she took on the job with just 4 weeks to go. She listened to what we want and the final result exceeded our expectations. She made us a topper with us and our dog and the attention to detail was incredible. All of our guests commented on how cute, lovely and realistic it was. Louise was so easy to deal with, very friendly, very professional and we were definitely at ease with her. So thanks a million, Louise, for our topper that we will look at for years to come and remember the amazing day we had!

Louise was a pleasure to deal with. From the initial emails to the two face to face consultations we had with her, we knew we had nothing yo worry about when it came to the cake. Louise is friendly, professional and very easy to deal with. She provided us with not only a beautiful looking cake but it also tasted amazing. Our guests were so impressed at the flavours of each layer. I would highly recommend her.
