Restless are one of Galway's foremost and in demand wedding bands on the scene today. Consisting of 5 talented musicians and singers offering a range of music from classic rock n roll & country to floor filling trad music.
The band has an exceptional mixture of experience and skilled musicians including country fiddle player John O’Brien, who has played with most of the top bands in Ireland. And Jonathan, one of Galway’s top trad musicians, playing banjo, bass and mandolin.
Restless band has played for numerous prestigious events, including for the past 10 years, the GAA All Stars ball in the Citywest Dublin, the Teachers Union of Ireland ball for the past 6 years, the Person of the Year Awards and the Galway Oyster Festival, to name a few.
Restless are renowned for their ability to get the crowd on the floor and gauging the atmosphere to ensure the floor is rocking all night! Restless also provide a full DJ service, music on arrival, and a stunning fairylight backdrop.

Our wedding was a magical day, from the moment we stepped into the church, the magnificent meal in the Galway Bay and topped off by the wonderful music of Vinnie Mongan and his band “Restless”. The rendition of the Andy William’s hit “Can’t take my eyes off you” set the mood for a great night of dancing. The band’s ability to gauge the musical taste of the crowd made sure that the dance floor was buzzing all night long. Vinnie was such a pleasure to deal with and we can’t thank him enough for making our night so special and enjoyable for everyone.

We had Vinnie and the rest of the Restless lads play at our wedding. We would 100% recommend them as they were so easy to deal with before the wedding and really helped us with our first dance song as we were unsure and asked us "what we wanted" on the night and also told us what worked to keep everyone happy - which isn't always easy but that's exactly what they did.
On the day, everything went smoothly from their quiet set up, to our first dance, to keeping everyone moving. Everyone especially liked and remember the fun unexpected games they played during their session and they got lots of people involved and the whole crowd laughing.
I would full hearty recommend Restless as they are a great band who knows exactly how to entertain a crowd.
Thanks again Vinnie & Co - ye made our night very memorable.

We had vinnie and restless play at our wedding on august 23rd 2008 and we could not say enough about their performance. the dance floor was packed throughout the night as the band delivered a performance that our friends are still talking about. we have the photos and dvd to prove it the only way to describe these guys is when you want the best you hire the best and these are THE BEST
