Amber Springs Hotel

My partner and I would highly recommend the amber springs for your wedding day! We choose the outdoor set up for our ceremony and it was decorated beautifully and made our ceremony so special it couldn't have went better! The staff were amazing and made everything run so smoothly on the day which was greatly appreciated 👏 the meal was absolutely delicious and our guests are still raving about how nice the food was and that the got plenty to eat so thanks again amber springs we had the best day 😀

Eimer and the wedding team at the Amber springs gorey were an absolute godsend! Most people say their wedding was a stressful experience but with Eimer helping us every step of the way it was the easiest day of my life. Eimer really goes above and beyond for everyone and is the loveliest professional I’ve ever dealt with. The day was perfect in every way, from set up the day before to checking out, the staff really couldn’t do enough for us and everyone attending our special day.

Robyn is very good at what she does, she runs a very tight ship and everything went so smoothly on our wedding day. All of the staff and we'll trained and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful for the occasion, also robyn does a great job decorating with there supplies and anything brought in. , overall I couldn't fault the ambersprings hotel, were glad we choose it, and got so many complaints on the venue.

We would highly recommend this venue for Ceremony and reception. Robyn the Wedding Coordinator made the the occasion for us and our guests a wonderful experience. we combined the Ceremony and reception at the hotel. The hotel where very flexible and nothing was a issue. We wanted to have the ceremony outside. The weather was touch and go but it held out for the duration of our ceremony. The hotel was very accommodating and they agreed to have it outside even though it meant they would have to move the set up indoors at the last minute. The guests gave very positive feedback on food and the venue.

We had our wedding in the Amber Springs Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Robyn and Alan couldn't do enough for us from the very beginning and nothing was an issue for them. The food was fab and staff were amazing. We really had the most perfect day and we can't thank them all enough for making our day so special.

Hi everyone congratulations on your upcoming wedding it's fantastic to be out of Covid restrictions now so I hope everyone has a great day. Myself and my husband married on 9th August last year so we were still under Covid restrictions and had to try to manage all of those whilst at the same time trying to make ourselves and others happy - losing numbers was hard and cutting the invitation list was the most difficult but people understood that it was a numbers restriction by the govt not us or the hotel - to plan our wedding we met with Deirdre and Alan to discuss our planned wedding at Amber Springs. We really wanted a venue that was open to children and also had great spaces for adults too. Amber Springs offered us both of these and the first time we visited we were really struck by how friendly the staff were- they were very courteous - there was great facilities for children at the hotel and adults had their own space too. When we met with Deirdre we were shown the different options for our wedding and we went with the option open to us we were also given the option to ask the chef for another dish which was added so that was great. The wedding plan provided by the hotel was was excellent value for money. Everything was covered; welcome drinks; toast drink, wine etc. We had requested an Aberdeen Angus roast beef option and we were given that as a choice on our menu ( added cost ). For the table settings we were shown some options I really wanted candelabras and flowers and Deirdre went out of her way to facilitate that request, our florist decorated the tables and we had the candelabras and candles and everything looked so perfect. We had decided not to have a top table and to have all circular tables including our own because we were only allowed 45 at the wedding this included children and babies we were worried that we might look very lost in the Ballroom well we were not to worry at all because Alan spoke to us and showed us that even though there would be less people it wouldn't be obvious because the room was decorated with comfy couches and tables for the guests to relax in this really made a huge difference to how we experienced our wedding on the day the room looked gorgeous we had the lights on behind us and with the decor on the tables it was perfect. Our wedding itself was due to take place in the Pergoda outside I am a massive fan of the Sound of Music and I wanted to marry my Captain Von Trapp in the white pergoda. Alan and Deirdre planned options for the ceremony dependant on the the weather, for the wedding ceremony and we were told that if there was a chance of rain then we would have to hold our ceremony inside upstairs in the wedding room. We were double praying for sun. Well we got sun and we got showers and Deirdre kept everyone going so that we were all on time and we made it through the rain we were allowed to stay out even though there was a shower because Deirdre knew how much it meant to me to. E married outside in the fresh air and the Pergoda and worked hard to make that happen so I got to marry my very own Captain in the white Pergoda. Deirdre from the beginning provided us with an absolutely fantastic support service and her professionalism was first class. I worked closely with Deirdre arranging the table setting etc everything for the day and she was outstanding. Alan of course was the top man and his support gave us the wedding we really wanted. We were not allowed music due to Covid restrictions we tried to play our music through a iphone and speaker but it didn't work and that was one of the things that I felt sad about because we had chosen music so special to us for the ceremony and couldn't play it in the end. The other thing I found difficult was the stress of the Covid restrictions; the numbers allowed were just too small for our wedding party and we had to cut invites. We couldn't have music in the wedding ballroom but Deirdre arranged to have our entrance song ?This is me? played as we were brought in to our table which was fantastic. We managed to plug in an iPhone to the bar sound system and had a first dance but the sound was terrible we did manage to have more dances ( even tho they were not allowed ). We had to finish at 11 and that was it there was no bar or anything because of Covid. We had great singers attending our wedding but we were not allowed to have someone sing looking back a lot of these restrictions seem senseless and they certainly took away some of our enjoyment but overall we had to work within them and Deirdre and Alan worked with us to ensure that we could get the best out of the day. Our wedding meal was absolutely fabulous everyone commented about the standard of the food it was excellent, the service was fantastic very easy and everyone enjoyed the food and the options. Because there was no music and no dancing allowed we had organised some games to play for fun with all the guests we made the games at home and brought them with us. We had prizes- funny prizes for all the winners and made sure the children all got a prize, it was really fun and probably fun we wouldn't have had had there been music allowed. As a compromise to not being allowed a band ( and we had a awesome band lined up but couldnt book them )There was piped music played into the Ballroom a playlist from Spotify. Finishing at 11 was a bit strange everyone was tucked up and in bed early but it did mean the next day there was less sore heads !! We had arranged to stay for three nights overall and we were allowed to stay in the Bridal suite which was just beautifully designed and decorated. Our family and the children had a fabulous time. Due to room issues we had to send some of our guests to Amber Springs sister hotel down the road this was not what we wanted we wanted everyone together and had booked for that to happen but nearer the day there was room issues and we had to ask some of our guests to stay in the other hotel. We organised a children's table at the wedding meal and because we had quite a few children we booked the ?Wedding Nanny? Aisling Ross who was just fantastic and occupied our children from early on the wedding day until bedtime in the evening although most of the children wanted to stay up ! Aisling was so helpful she helped me when I was having a little ( big ) crisis with paperwork in the Bridal Suite she sat me down and calmed me down then helped out to make things right. She sat with the children - we paid for Aisling and her assistant to have a meal at the wedding and they sat with all the children. Because the room was designed in a circular way - the tables all in a circle - the children were very close to all of us and had great fun and it also meant that mammies and daddies could relax and enjoy the meal too. So overall we had a fantastic experience.
Any issues for our wedding were discussed and worked out with Alan and Deirdre who were very available to us.
We went with our own florist Ali Keogh at ?The Tangled Bramble? in Blessington; we were shown the florist provided by the hotel but I thought Ali would give us a more intimate decor and it was out of this world her flowers and decor were just beautiful our bouquets were stunning, I had asked for pearls to be wrapped around my bouquet handle and to drop down below and Ali did this she also decorated the outside Pergoda it was beautiful everyone commented on the flowers. Our make up was done in house and the girls were great my hair was decorated with pearls and was styled in my room by Paula Lillie who styled our wedding party too including the flower girls. My husband to be was wearing a kilt and Ali provided all the men with button holes and made extra too for any women who wanted one again like the ?Wedding Nanny? Ali Keogh of ?The Tangled Bramble? was utterly professional, the fee was great and the service outstanding. We had decided to go with the hotel photographer ( huge mistake ) we should have gone the extra mile and hired a videographer/ photographer. I had requested several photos that didn't happen and the product that we were sent afterwards was not usable I actually cried when I saw them. So be clear with your photographer and make sure that you get the photos that you want and go that extra mile and get someone who can record the day and a photographer too even though it's an expensive cost it's actually one of the most important because the day goes so fast and you look so forward to seeing the photographs to look back on so make sure that you make that a priority. I would definitely book the Ambersprings Hotel again ( not that I'm planning to be a runaway bride ) and I would definately use the same service providers that we used. I would use a different photographer and also I would get everything in writing from every service provider. All of our providers were fantastic.

Deirdre was definitely an essential person in the planning of our wedding. Deirdre was utterly professional she took so much from our discussions and worked to make that happen she took pride in our wedding experience and in the hotel I would definitely recommend working with Deirdre to make your perfect day.

So all's well that ends well we had a fantastic time and definitely recommend this venue.

Hope you have the perfect day! It runs by in a flash so don't get too stressed about things beforehand enjoy the day and have fun.

Our big day was supposed to be in 2020 but we had to postpone for at least 4 times because of covid-19. Amber Springs were really understandable and flexible every time we had to request a new date. During these time I also was in contact with other people there like Debora and Alan that were always very nice with us.
Food was really good and decoration as well. Robyn was really kind every time we met and we always had quick answers when we emailed her. We met Paul in the day and he was also very helpful.
We were only disappointed with two important requests we have made before and it wasn't done. First we informed in advance the songs we would like to play in our entrance, our parents and our bridesmaid/groomsmen entrance. Nothing was ready and we had to spend a long time explaining and trying to find the link we already have sent by email and in the end it was not in the exactly time of the music we wanted.
Second, we delivered all the sweets for the candy cart the night before which was obviously in property boxes to protect them but when we arrived they were still in the boxes in the candy cart. Although I said they were supposed to be outside of the boxes I was the one that had to take them out of the boxes with my mom's help in a rush which took us at least 20 minutes doing that.
These were precious time for us that we could be chatting with our guests or even taking pictures outside of the hotel but unfortunately it wasn't the way we wanted.
Despite that we had an amazing day with our family and friends and it worth it to wait 2 years to finally celebrate!

We booked our wedding in 2019 and planned for 2021, however Covid had other ideas and we changed to 2022. Robyn and her team could not have been more helpful and flexible with our date change. From January 2022 to our wedding in June we had constant contact with Robyn about any queries or questions we had. Everything went so smoothly on the day, with a huge thanks to both Robyn and Alan who went above and beyond - from the layout and decorating of the ceremony location, our drinks reception to our meal and everything else in between was amazing and everything we could have wished for. We truly had a great day and would do it all again in the Amber if we could.

We had our wedding at Amber Springs Gorey and it was the best choice we made. From the moment you start the planning process to the end of your big day, we were treated like royalty! Robyn & Paul were just amazing! They worked endlessly to make our special day even more memorable. They were just excellent! Everything we asked for was catered for, nothing was too bag! Our day was even better then we even imagined! From the Ceremony that took place in the hotel to the Reception, everything was just perfect. Our menu for the day ticked all the boxes and more, the food was just exceptional! Definitely an unforgettable day! 5* treatment from beginning to end!! Would definitely recommend!

The most wonderful day at the Amber Springs. We had the pleasure of working alongside Deirdre who made every step of the way a breeze. The staff were beyond helpful, the food was delicious and (despite Covid) we could not fault the day! We had both the ceremony and afters in the hotel and Paul made our vision come to life. He looked after us so well on the day and made sure all of our guests were catered to. It was a dream come true and we would highly reccomended the Amber Springs Hotel.

We got married in the Amber Springs hotel on the 12/08/22 and what an amazing day it was. From the time we booked our wedding in Jan 2019 nothing was ever a problem, Robyn was great and responded to any emails/questions that we had right up to the day we finally got married. The food was exceptional and my guests are still talking about it. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue, everything went so smoothly with no problems at all and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely fantastic service from the time we booked with Deborah right up until we checked out of the hotel. The day went perfectly from the moment I stepped in that door, from start to finish Deborah and all her team were so helpful and professional. Their attention to detail is second to none and they are really there to give you the most amazing day. Everything I asked for was taken care of and their advice was something I really needed given it was the first time I was doing this. From the minute we walked through the doors to view Amber Springs as our potential wedding venue myself and my husband were treated like we were the only wedding couple in the world. Deborah Stewart was available whenever we had any queries and on hand to offer any advice to us to make sure we got the best out of our Big Day. On our Wedding Day, we had the pleasure of Dave taking care of us. From the moment we arrived till the early hours of the morning he took care of everything. Dave made the day seamless for us and if anything didn't go to plan i was none the wiser!!!

We had a BBQ for the 2nd day of our wedding and again Dave dropped by to make sure everything was going well and we were happy with everything.

All our guests complimented how well they were treated all weekend by everyone in the hotel and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I would highly recommend the Amber Springs hotel for your wedding. The food, the venue and the service exceeded all of my expectations for our Big Day.

The Amber Springs hotel did a great job hosting our wedding. It was a small wedding with 30 guests but the professional staff at Amber Springs went above and beyond in all aspects from helping us plan our special day to supporting us on the day. Debbie was excellent and made sure the wedding was tailored exactly how we had imagined. On the day, Dave was on hand and made sure everything was perfect and that everything went to plan. The venue itself beautiful and perfect for taking pictures. With the beautiful surroundings like the fountain and bridge there are plenty of places to take memorable photos and the grounds are maintained superbly also. All in all its an excellent venue for a big or small wedding and represents great value for money.

Amazing service from all at the Amber Springs.
We dealt with Deborah for 90% of the wedding and she went above and beyond to ensure our day went to plan. We also had some dealings with Thomas who again was fantastic, and as our day had to be put back by 24hours due to Snow, Deborah, Thomas and other hotel staff were exceptional with the help they gave us.
The girls from the Spa were fantastic, regular phone calls and updates on what was what again due to the weather.
Receptionist were all great sorting us with last minute rooms, contacting all our guests who were booked in to change their rooms for them. Myself the bride was greeted on arrival to the hotel by a manager who talked me through the arrangements for the following day and gave us all the help and service we needed over the 48hours. Decorations were sorted as most of ours couldn't make it to the hotel again due to weather conditions and nothing we asked for or needed was to much.
Our wedding day went perfect, managers sorted speakers for our ceremony, last minute DJ as ours was snowed in, and made sure our day was superb.
All staff were exceptional and only for them our day would have fell apart.

We had the most amazing day we had a few hiccups with luggage going missing but dave who looked after us on the day really went out of his way to run everything so smoothly and he really was a joy to deal with as was Deborah in all the billions of emails I sent her in the run up she always replied even if I did wreck her head we had a fab day as did all of our guests and would Defo choose the Ambersprings again if I had to redo it all again.

Cannot fault the Amber springs in anyway! Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent here before our wedding, during and after!

From the day we attended the wedding fair which was the day we booked the hotel and staff were friendly, efficient and helpful at all times throughout the whole year and leading up to the big day and also the after party the next day. The hotel is amazing food, staff, service etc... fantastic. Would recommend this hotel to anybody getting married... we loved it and everybody that attended said it was the best wedding they had been at.

We got married in the Amber Springs hotel on 31.7.14 and I cannot fault the hotel on anything. Thanks to Susan, Deborah, Niall and all the staff on the day because of them the day ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a perfect day in a perfect venue. When we decided to get married we had the daunting task of searching for a venue. Amber Springs Hotel wasn't on our initial list and so we made a phone call and got an appointment with Deborah, this was the best phone call we made. Deborah from start to finish was so helpful and accommodating. We had no hesitation in booking the hotel straight away when we shown the areas for our civil reception and the Mill Court room with the balcony. The lead up to the wedding was so smooth and the wedding day itself was without any hitches. The food, venue, the grounds lend itself to no other hotel that we visited. It is impossible to thank everybody from the reception to the waiting staff, and the bar individually, but I am sure Deborah will pass on our thanks. We would recommend Amber Springs everytime.

I cannot thank the girlies enough for what they did on our wedding day. The best thing about the whole hotel was every member of staff. The staff made the day! Reception, bar and of course the wedding co ordinaters. I cannot thank Susan, Deborah and Eimear enough. Nothing was a problem no matter what it was. The only negative point was there was too much food and too much drink!!! Best bad point ever. There was plenty of seconds and even thirds. Everything was perfectly presented and done with such care and consideration. I felt like the most important person they ever dealt with.
