Killarney Oaks Hotel

We had our wedding on the 3rd August 2024 in the Killarney Oaks Hotel and they were just brilliant. We met Tara & Donal throughout the wedding planning process and they were very kind, caring & understanding of all our needs. They were always either a phone call or email away and nothing was too much for them to answer or help us with.
We trusted them throughout the whole process and they really helped plan our special day.
Throughout the day of the wedding, they ensured myself & my new husband were okay, we were well fed/watered, they kept a close eye on us throughout the day to be sure we were okay!
The Killarney Oaks is exceptional for weddings, they have the whole works from decor, chocolate fountains, music, excellent food, post box for letters, whatever you could need they have it which saved lots of stress and finances!!
If we could do it all over again, no doubt it would be in the Killarney Oaks!

What can i say the oaks was outstanding. We knew from the day we got engaged we wanted the oaks so we booked it two years in advance. Tara was fantastic to deal with. She is a personal friend of ours and it honestly made life so easy. The food was out of this world, the service on the day outstanding. We could not fault it. We did not have to do much to the venue because it was so up to date with all the trends. We would highly recommend the oaks to anyone getting married.

We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding 6 months before the date and I found the Killarney Oaks team to be rude ignorant and in compassionate to deal with and would not return our deposit despite our contract saying otherwise

We had such a wonderful experience with the Killarney Oaks Hotel; from the first visit, to the tasting, to the big day. Nothing was too much trouble and anything we requested was catered for. The food and service were spectacular, our guests are still talking about it to this day. Shane and the entire team were just brilliant, the venue is beautiful and entire experience end to end was absolutely seamless.

One final bonus (which I only realised after our wedding, when speaking with friends who got married around the same time at other venues), was that there were no hidden costs or unexpected add-ons. They were up front about everything and there was no budget surprises as we got closer to the date.

Due to covid we had to change our date. But the Oaks still gave us the best day. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere that they created ensured that everyone had a wonderful day. I cannot thank Eil?s and the staff in the Oaks enough. From the moment we stepped inside the door to talk about the wedding they made us feel special and were always there to answer questions and provide support when needed. You will not be disappointed as it is 5 star service.

The Killarney Oaks went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic wedding day. The meal was delicious, the service was second to none and the decor is beautiful. We couldn?t recommend the Oaks enough if you are having your wedding in Killarney.

To say that this year has been challenging would be an understatement. When planning probably the biggest day of your life you would not have to expect to have to contend with a global pandemic. However, we need not have worried about the big day as the care, attention to detail, courtesy, understanding and flexibility offered to us by the staff and management at the Killarney Oaks Hotel was second to none. They really went above and beyond expectations for what has proved a difficult time for all involved in the industry. The management team of Eil?s and TJ could not have made us more relaxed and at ease while trying to reschedule and reorganise our big day with all the changing restrictions due to the pandemic. My wife and I cannot recommend the venue highly enough for other couples. Our guests were looked after to the highest of standards with beautiful fresh, locally sourced food available on the day and every dietary requirement was easily catered for. You really can tell from the moment you enter the building that the staff are proud of their work and the management and owners work excellently in tandem to provide the most relaxed and enjoyable wedding experience that you could ask for. Every small detail was taken care of and no request was too big for the staff who obligingly helped us every step of the way. We will definitely be frequent visitors to the venue that made our dreams come through. Go raibh m?le maith agaibh

We met Eilis over a year and a half ago and from then on she was simply amazing and the staff at the oaks would highly recommend them nothing was a bother and such a wonderful lady herelf and tj were an absolute pleasure wish we could do it all over again.

Our wedding was 2 weeks ago and it still feels like the most amazing dream we could have ever dreamt and that is down to Eilis and the team at The Killarney Oaks Hotel. There was no request too big or too small and every e-mail was returned on the same day. Eilis even organised Santa to come to the wedding and to say he went down a storm is an understatement. The meal was fantastic and our guests have told us it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and to say it as magical was an understatement. Th eonly regret I have is that I cant do it every week. A special mention has also to be made for the lovely Joanna in reception she looked after our guests so well when they wanted to book rooms and on check in on the day.If your looking for a wedding venue in beautiful Kerry the Killarney Oaks is the only choice.

The Oaks were flawless from start to finish, no task was too big or small. We genuinely could not recommend the place enough, two weeks on from our date & people are still talking about the amazing food. Eilis & All The Staff were genuinely so accommodating & welcoming, made the whole process so easy & enjoyable.

Our dream wedding became a reality at the Killarney Oaks Hotel. Everything was amazing - the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the amazing room decor, the food was so good. We had our wedding at the Oaks on the 6th July and it was absolutely all we could have dreamed of and more. The staff went above and beyond to create my vision, were extremely accommodating and made the whole day so enjoyable for us. The food and service on the day were second to none and the guests are still raving about it. The wedding planners Daniele and Eilis were outstanding in their attention to detail and support leading up to the big day. Wow... that's all my husband and I can say about the staff, service and everything about the Killarney Oaks Hotel. We had our wedding reception on May 31st and Eilis and all the staff at the Killarney Oaks made it an incredible experience for us.. nothing was too much. My sister had her wedding Reception at your hotel last Saturday. I was part of the bridal party and I just had to compliment you and your staff on what a wonderful hotel you have. It is a credit to Killarney town.

Firstly, A massive THANK YOU to Eilis for being such an amazing person throughout the entire wedding day. Her manner was second to none, making everyone feel so special and at ease. She was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From our arrival at the hotel, we were first greeted with her warm friendly manner, taking our flowers, ensuring we had enough drinks and food at the welcome reception, showing the nervous bridesmaids their seating area at the reception ?, calming the bestmen for their speeches, offering us second helpings, filling the kids bottles... I could go on and on. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

The Food and Service was exceptional. The presentation, the taste, second helpings, everything was first class. The service from all staff was incredible.

My family had a fantastic weekend, we honestly cannot fault anything ? I heard so many compliments about the food and service from guests on the day, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after perfectly. I will be highly recommending your Hotel to anyone considering it for an occasion.

Honestly, we could not recommend the Killarney Oaks hotel enough. Such a beautiful hotel, gorgeous views and the most loveliest of staff. Eilish was an absolute dream to work with from the time we booked it right up to the wedding. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the food is to die for. Everyone at the wedding commented on how lovely the staff were and how amazing the food was. The funniest question but also a lovely compliment on the day from a guest was ?I have 3 questions, the butcher, the chef and for how long?. Referring to the amazing fillet steak served on the day. ??

We got married in the Oaks on 14th December. Magical is the only word to describe our experience in the Oaks.

We booked our wedding two years in advance. The Killarney Oaks was the only hotel we viewed. We knew from the first meeting that it was the perfect hotel for us.

In the run up to the wedding, Danielle and Eilis attention to detail was immense. Nothing was ever too much trouble and no question was ever left unanswered. They were great to offer their opinions and help out but never stopped us from putting our own stamp on the day.

We spend a lot of time in Killarney and are certain that the Oaks have the finest decorations and Christmas decor of any hotel in the town! Our guests were totally taken with the way the hotel was decked out and it really was a magical winter wonderland.

Our guests raved about the friendliness of the staff and the service, along with the standard and quality of the meal. The dinners were truly delicious.

On a personal note, we want to thank the Oaks for making our day one we will never forget. We felt like we knew the staff for years, such was the rapport we had with them.

Had our wedding reception in the Killarney Oaks last November. It was amazing from start to finish. Eilis was a pleasure to deal with no question or request too big or small, full of support and advice. She was also on the ball with our suppliers on the day making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing our guest still talking about the feed they had on the day. The drinks reception area looked sensational with the Christmas decorations and the chocolate fountain. The reception room itself was stunning. We can?t recommend this hotel enough if you book you won?t be disappointed.

Excellent wedding venue, couldn't do enough for us. Food is absolutely beautiful. 5 stars.

What can I say...
The run up to our wedding day and the actual day was beyond perfect.
Danielle and Eilis could not do enough to ensure everything was in place for us before all of our guests arrived for 4 days!
I could completely relax knowing everything was in hand and the extent the staff go to to make everyone feel wonderful is exceptional.
Our family and friends have said this was the best wedding they have ever been to and it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten!
If you are looking at getting married in Killarney you would be mad not to choose Killarney Oaks!

The most amazing place to get married everything for a wedding day was perfect. Danielle and Eilis went above and beyond and anything we asked of them nothing was an issue. I would recommend it to every bride and groom for the future this is the wedding venue of the century and you cannot do better. They simple are amazing and outstanding

In 2017 we booked our wedding day with Eilis. From that day until May 4th 2019 the service was amazing.

The hotel first : Always clean. Always friendly staff waiting too greet you at reception. The food and service in the bar on busy Sundays when we would visit was just outstanding. The hotel would be buzzing for food on Sundays. The staff would be under so much pressure but they never let it show on there faces. From managers right down too the bar staff would be helping each other out which is lovely too see.

Our wedding day:Eilis (wedding co-ordinator) is an absolute asset to The Kilarney Oaks Hotel and I hope she is highly appreciated for all her hard work. For her amazing people skills and organisation. Our wedding day is like it was her wedding day she makes every single bit of it amazing and run so smoothly. The phone calls through the year wondering was everything going ok , did we need help with anything really put us at ease. We could pick up the phone at 12 noon or 10 at night and she would still come on the phone the same joful and super motivated to help in any way to reduce stress from ourselves. We can't thank you enough for making out special day so fantastic.

The hotel also let us stay on the second day which we had finger food with music outside the reception room. The double doors were open and it was a great space for our crowd.

I can hand on my heart say if anyone was too book their wedding day right now with eilis she would look after you both 110% and that the food , accommodation, decor and staff would be perfect.

I will be recommending every newly engaged person I know and also clients that come into our salon in cork to go down and see your hotel.
