Limerick Strand Hotel

THE most amazing venue to deal with. Nothing was too much to ask and they worked around us with everything. Starting from the very first moment we saw the venue in 2020 we were welcomed with open arms, and an excel spreadsheet with everything we needed to get started! It was my bible!! Keeley is amazing to deal with and was in constant contact via email and phone checking in to make sure all was going okay and to see if there was anything she could help us with. The week of the wedding I can honestly say she was a hero! She settled out nerves at the start of the week over a coffee and a run through of the day. Met us again the day before to take our bags decor, and to show us the room. She ran though everything again with us crosschecking guest lists and final numbers in the process. The day of the wedding everything was exactly how we imagined and more. The staff in the hotel were incredible, Keeley was on hand the entire day checking in and making sure we were hydrated, calm and laughing! Even when a wedding guest who originally was not able to make the wedding showed up, they were on the table plan and had a table setting within 20 minutes! She is just amazing at what she does and I could not recommend The Strand more to any couple thinking about a wedding. The City View suite for the drinks reception is amazing as it is a private location for just you and your guests overlooking The Shannon and the treaty county (also amazing photo opportunities here), and being able to then go to the Shannon Suite downstairs for the meal and to dance the night away was magical, everything from the entrance decor, to the room decor the team do the most amazing job! Justin and his events team are so professional at what they do. He kept in contact with the kitchen and made sure that we were seated just before our food came out, so it did not get cold, and also to make sure we ate! After the meal he brought us outside and told us to catch our breath and head up to the room to freshen up, and I am so thankful we had this moment, as I could take off my veil, take 5 and grab my flats. We came back in to the room to the band warming up and all our guests dancing! THE best way to start the night. The whole team make you feel like a million dollars, and honestly have such a personal touch.
We just wish we could do it all again!
We are already trying to think of a reason to have another event in The Strand!

I just want to send a note to thank you all so so much for making our wedding day 31.12.13 so perfect! Your efficiency, friendliness, help and assistance took a lot of the stress out of the wedding preparations. As you could see we had lots of little ideas and filled your office with decorations and bits and bobs to decorate the room. Nothing was ever a problem, Olivia it was just lovely working with you. You were always on the other end of the phone or email within minutes. It isn't easy planning a wedding at home while living in London but with your efficiency and always there to help I never had to worry about the reception side of things. The food was ABSOLUTELY out of this world. Everyone was talking about how delicious it was. We had a fantastic day at the tasting and the chef was so flexible and went over and above our expectations. The strawberry santa's were also a hit! Thank you!
We truly had a great day and will treasure and cherish the memories forever. Thank you all so much and I have and will without hesitation recommend the Strand for a wedding or even an overnight stay.

The staff at the Strand who made our wedding such a successful and special occasion, we wuld both like you to know what we found the whole experience of planning our wedding with the Strand an absolute pleasure from initial meetgins with Carly & ClaireAnn to the tasting dinner to the actual day where we were blown away by the level of service and incredibly high standard of food. Just to let you know that everyone whom we have been speaking with since the wedding has raved about the Limerick Strand Hotel.? Among other things everyone loved the food and the service?from the arrival reception to the afters?and many a person has commented on your lovely christmas decorations.? From Tommy and my point of view it was a wonderful experience dealing with you and the rest of the staff from start to finish, we had a ball on the actual day itself, but god did it fly.? I will have no reservation in recommending you to anyone i know who is looking for a wedding venue.

Our wedding day was amazing and I have to say the hotel and staff were excellent on the day every little detail was great upstairs reception we loved and the atmosphere up there and the function room for meal was just perfect also thanks to all involved...The meal everything can not fault it at all thanks for everything I will be highly recommending this hotel to anyone who asks...
