We recently had our wedding at The Newpark and from the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for us. From the very beginning and throughout the entire day, every member of staff was so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel so easy and reassuring. Nothing was ever a problem, no matter how small the request, and they always made us feel completely supported and cared for.

A very special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Mary along with Sinead, Michella, Aoife,Niall, Aga, Shane, David and everyone else who were just fantastic. You all were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Thr calmness, organisation, and kindness meant so much to us and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We always felt in the safest hands guiding us through everything.

Walking into the room and seeing everything set up so beautifully was such an emotional moment for us. Every detail was perfect, and it truly felt like a dream come to life.

On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly and we were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the staff were and how well everything was organised.

Our wedding day was one of the most important days of our lives, and thanks to the amazing team at The Newpark it was even more perfect than we could have imagined. We will always be so grateful for the care, warmth, and professionalism they showed us.

We recently had our wedding reception at The Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and we truly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere special - and it exceeded every expectation.
The food was absolutely incredible. So many of our guests are still talking about it 3 weeks later! Every course was beautifully presented and tasted even better than we had remembered from our tasting session.

The wedding team ,especially our wedding co-ordinator Mary ,were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the whole process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Nothing was ever a problem -no request too big or too small. They were always responsive, calm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
We also had a large guest list, and the venue handled it effortlessly. Everything ran seamlessly! The staff in the hotel were fantastic from Reception to Bar Staff to Waiting Staff and Housekeeping Staff...everyone was so friendly,helpful and welcoming.One of the owners of the hotel even went out of his way to visit us at the top table before our meal and introduce himself and check that we were happy with how everything was going.Special Mention for Siobhan also who was the Manager looking after us on the day and who had shown us around on our first visit to the wedding showcase two years previously which led to us booking our wedding with the hotel.She is amazing and ensured that everything was perfect for us on the day!

If you’re looking for a venue that combines exceptional service, outstanding food, and a team who truly care, this is the place for you. We couldn't have picked a better venue and would give more than 5 stars if we could!

We got married a few weeks ago in the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and honestly we were blown away by everything. Since our wedding so many people have commented on the food, the staff and the venue itself. Everything was absolutely perfect and the effort the team put in to make sure things were done as we wanted them was incredible. I couldn’t say enough good things about everyone. Mary O’Neill was our wedding co-ordinator and nothing was too much of a task, she was simply incredible. On the day Peter was the manager working with us and he went absolutely above and beyond for us, so attentive and such a lovely presence on our day! The bar staff were 10/10 and kept a solid eye and kept topping up our sweet cart as it emptied (so many guests had such positive things to say about the bar staff) The food was just exceptional and the service was brilliant. I couldn’t recommend the team at the Newpark more. We had the best experience from start to finish with them and so many of our guest have given feedback that the wedding was the best they’d been to - the attention to detail from the hotel really is next level. Five star service for sure - thanks so much to everyone at the Newpark for the best day we could have dreamed of! I would choose the Newpark again in a heartbeat

We had our wedding at the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Michaela was fantastic in the weeks leading up to the wedding- calm and organised. She made the planning feel easy and stress-free.

The meal was exceptional. Many of our guests are still talking about how good it was, and several coeliac guests commented on how well they were catered for. The gluten-free options were excellent, and the overall dinner service was relaxed but still very prompt for such a large wedding.

While every bride and groom hear positive things about their own day, our family, friends, and even extended neighbours made a real point of saying how much they enjoyed the Newpark. The bar staff were brilliant—attentive, friendly, and perfect for a crowd that loves the bar. The bar was also really well staffed, something not every hotel prioritises at night, and it made a huge difference to the flow of the evening. A special mention for the good pint of Guinness, which did not go unnoticed!

We added a gin cart to our drinks reception and were blown away by what was provided—a full selection of gins (including non-alcoholic options), mixers, garnishes and toppings. It completely exceeded our expectations and was a huge hit with guests.

The team also took complete charge of all of our extras, such as signs, bathroom baskets, guestbooks and more. Everything was laid out perfectly and exactly as we would have hoped, without us having to think about a single thing. It made the day completely stress-free.

Across the entire weekend, the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. It’s clear they host many weddings, and they truly have it perfected. A special thank you to Siobhan on the day, who went above and beyond by drying the bride’s wedding dress after it got wet during photographs. That level of care meant so much to us.

We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding weekend unforgettable.

We could not fault the Newpark on anything in the lead up to or on our Wedding Day. Right from the 1st Day we met her Michaela was a dream to deal with and nothing was too much trouble she was always avaliable to help with any queries. We couldn't have been happier having our wedding in Newpark. The Team were amazing! Nothing was an issue coming up the wedding and on the day they look after everything and everyone we didnt need to worry about a thing.

The staff from start to finish were amazing. The wedding coordinators made our wedding journey stress free they were fantastic to work with. The staff on the day of the wedding were so friendly and efficient. I would 100% recommend the Newpark for your wedding.

We just got married here a couple of days ago. Personally I was against traditional weddings as I thought they were a rip off. But Newpark have changed my mind, they were worth every penny and more. I think they were exceptionally good value for money for the wedding/service they provided. Especially the wedding staff. Siobhan, Aoife and Shane were all brilliant especially but everyone really.
The dinosaur park and playground were brilliant for the kids and we really wanted a child friendly wedding.
We'll be back every year as an anniversary but having our wedding here was amazing and we're so happy with our decision. Thank you Newpark.

We had our wedding at the New park Hotel Kilkenny and it was absolutely perfect. The modern and romantic atmosphere made the day so special, and the staff were exceptional from start to finish. The food was spectacular, and every member of the wedding team went above and beyond to make sure our day was unforgettable.

We got married on July 26th 2025 and The Newpark Hotel was simply the best in making our day so special. I was regularly in contact with Mary and Michaela who supported me on decisions and give me advice when I needed it most. The day of the wedding was perfect, The management team on the day made everything so relaxed and it flowed seamlessly. We were even greeted by the owner of the hotel before we entered the ballroom, he made us feel so welcome and ensured us that he would be readily available if we needed anything. The personal touches and attention to detail cannot be matched. I will always be grateful for how special and memorable our day was surrounded by those we love and taken care of by such a hard working dedicated team in the Newpark - Thank you!!

Myself and my Wife got Married in the Newpark in July 2025 and from the day we walked through the doors the welcome and how professional the staff were made our decision easy. we viewed 10 other venues but we knew the bar was set high from the Newpark Hotel.

The Value and service was first class and no matter what worries or questions we had, the Newpark had all the answers and help we needed.

Food and service was stupendous and there was so much food.

We couldn't have been happier with the service and professionalism of the wedding team in the Newpark Hotel. From our very first meeting with the team, nothing was an issue and they were very open to any changes we wanted to make to our package. The Newpark Hotel have an excellent reputation for delivering weddings in Kilkenny and they certainly surpass this reputation. I could not recommend a wedding venue more.

After having met with the wedding team at the Newpark Hotel, we knew it was the perfect hotel for us. All of the team, especially Mary and Laura, went above and beyond for us from start to finish. I wish we could remember the names of the rest of the amazing team because each and every one of them are due a mention. What a welcoming hotel with the friendliest staff. We both agreed it was a hotel that made us feel so at home. Both my partner and I have been to numerous weddings and the food couldn’t be compared to the food we had at the Newpark Hotel - the chateaubriand was the best we have ever had and Mary was fantastic in accommodating us so well to ensure we had the perfect package for our day. What was memorable when organising our wedding is that the staff never pushed for the more pricy options and left all the extras down to us, simply making sure we were well informed never feeling any pressure unlike other hotels that we viewed.
All of our guests complimented the amazing food and service that they received. Everyone felt so relaxed and at ease throughout the day, including ourselves. We never once had a worry.
The bridal suite on the night was amazing and another amazing touch from the hotel was a bottle of champagne with personalised champagne flutes with our names and wedding date on them.
We also booked our day two with the hotel, in the terrace area. It was stunning. They offered a package with a one man band, bbq and prosecco on arrival. We also couldn’t recommend this enough. More amazing food and again, the staff could not be faulted.
If you are considering booking this hotel -DO IT! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. You can be assured that your wedding day is in safe and beyond capable hands. Thank you again to all at the Newpark Hotel for exceeding our expectations.

I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel enough for your wedding day! From the very beginning, they were just fantastic. We had to postpone our original date due to a bereavement and they were so accommodating and made us feel so much better about our decision to move our big day.
In the lead-up to the wedding, there were no silly questions, no unanswered emails or phone calls, and not once did we feel like we couldn't contact the team with any queries. We had not one but two 'final' wedding meetings to ensure that the hotel understood our vision fully. There wasn't one detail out of place on our wedding day, the team are incredibly organised and left no stone unturned to make sure that everything we wanted came to light! We got ready in the hotel that morning and from 7 am until the early hours of the following morning, when we finally got to bed, we and our guests were so well looked after.
The food was absolutely incredible, so many people commented on it and said that they ate the entire meal, which they 'usually wouldn't' at a wedding!
We have a young baby and so had all of our photos taken at the hotel, which we were nervous about. However the grounds of the hotel and the hotel itself are so beautiful that we need not have worried, the pictures are so stunning with the Newpark as the backdrop!
Myself, my husband and and our families were treated like royalty for the whole wedding day and in the lead-up to it. Thanks so much to the Newpark for helping to make our dream come true, we had the best wedding day we ever could've wished for!

We chose Newpark Hotel from the minute we went in to book our wedding. From start to finish, the staff were unbelievably helpful and made us feel so relaxed. They were easy to deal with. Our plans went so smoothly that even coming up to the last few weeks, I was asking myself, Are we forgetting something here? But as I contacted Newpark, I realised everything was in order. Thanks to all their help, they made it very easy for us to sit back and enjoy the big build-up. The day of our wedding was just beautiful. We got married in their beautiful room, and again staff were just amazing and so helpful. Our wedding ceremony was fantastic. A beautiful lobby area to the front was set up with lots of finger food, tea, coffee and of course, prosecco. The sun was shining, and our guests enjoyed the amazing gardens, and we got beautiful pictures in the garden. Our dinner was lovely. As one guest said to me after the wedding, there wasn't a bit of food left on anyone's plates, so that was a good sign, as our food was delicious. We had no complaints on our wedding day held in Newpark - only that it went by way too fast. We definitely would do it all over again in Newpark with their wonderful team. We stayed for 2 nights for our wedding it is a beautiful hotel v comfortable and luxiourous for familes caters for all ages. Aga was amazing on the day of our wedding couldnt do enough for us and all our guests. Dinner was amazing for our wedding and the next evening too.would highly recommend

We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark and had our "day two" here also. Let me tell you about our experience.
From the wedding showcase nearly two years before the wedding to the BBQ on day two we had the most amazing experience of our lives.
The Newpark made everything so easy and were so helpful in the planning and getting us through both days.

The staff were fantastic, they made the day feel effortless and took all the stress away.
Mary made us feel at ease when planning it all there was no request to complicated and nothing she couldn't answer.
Aga went above and beyond all day to look after our every need. They couldn't do enough for us. We were truly stunned by the level of service was amazing.
Even the bar staff need a shout out as they put up with all night, They were good craic and its a credit to them.

The food was absolutely delicious, with all the guests complimenting it. The chefs catered for all guests and their dietary needs.

The ballroom in particular was stunning and made the day feel more special. The private garden off the ballroom was great to be able to get out for some air after to much dancing but not be away from the guests.

The second day of our wedding was just as incredible as the first from getting breakfast in bed to chilling in the pool all day till it was time for BBQ.
The staff once again made everything so easy and care free for us we got to enjoy it as much as the guests. The area for the BBQ was incredible we were able to get the roof opened to enjoy the good weather and the atmosphere was great. A great place to unwind after the day before and to catch up with friends and family.
The BBQ was a standout, the variety and quality was incredible. (Maybe even better that the wedding meal) I'm sure the hotel won't mind me saying that.
The guests also loved the BBQ and they all told us how much they enjoyed it.

The two days went so fast but the memories will last.

We could write an essay on how perfect the Newpark Hotel was for our wedding. Everything from the planning stages to the end was made stress-free. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, from Mary and Aga to the lads at the bar late at night, all were amazing. The Newpark does the big things well as you would expect but it was all the little touches that they do, that you don't expect or even think about, that really shows how much they care to make it a perfect day. The wedding room look great. The food was fantastic, definitely the best food we've ever had at a wedding . The Terrace for day 2 and the BBQ were also fantastic, as was the one man band. We can't praise the hotel and staff enough. They really did help to make our special day even more special. Anyone thinking of getting married should be looking at Newpark as there no.1 option

We had our wedding reception in Newpark on 14th March this year and it was the best day of our lives! When we got engaged, we always knew we wanted to get married in Newpark. We had both attended weddings there on many occasions and it is by far the best venue in our opinion. From the day we booked our wedding at Newpark Mary, the wedding coordinator, was so lovely and helpful and every time we met with her she reassured us and made us so excited for the big day. The day itself could not have went better and the guest were amazed with the venue and how lovely the staff were on the evening. The main thing that the guests were talking about was how amazing the food. Several people also complimented how nice the room looked and the centre pieces on tables that Newpark also provide. Aga was looking after us on the day and she made sure that we were happy with how the day was going and was always around if we needed her. Honestly I could not recommend Newpark enough and I would advise any Bride or Groom to consider checking it out!

We got married in the Newpark hotel in May. The day was excellent from start to finish. The weddings manager Sinead is an absolute dream to work with, and any future brides dream weddings manager as she is always free to answer any questions and willing to assist with any changes or queries we had. She is highly organised and an excellent representative employee for the hotel. Our guests are still coming to us with how good the food and over all service was on the day. A shoutout also to Aga who was excellent on the day keeping us informed of the flow of the day and ensuring the service was top notch. We Couldn't have asked for a better venue & team to work with for our wedding day, everything ran so smoothly on the day from the second we woke up.
We stayed in the hotel the night after our wedding and the staff still treated us as if we were the only guests in the hotel, they went above & beyond to make us feel so so special and our guests still rage about the wedding dinner to this day.

We had our wedding here May 2024. The service was incredible. We had the best day of our lives. Highly reccomend the newpark it was perfect.

We had our wedding here in May 2024 and I couldn't recommend Newpark enough. From the minute we went to view the venue we were so well looked after. We were told that the ballroom/reception area would undergo a renovation just before our wedding which made us slightly nervous but it looked absolutely amazing and we were kept informed with updates throughout the renovation.

The food was incredible, the staff were amazing, there was absolutely no lag in service and everyone was so well looked after. I even realised when I was sitting at the meal that I had left something in a bag in the bridal suite and a member of staff went and got it for me.

A special shout out to the wedding coordinators who go above and beyond for you on your wedding day but make it seem like it's no trouble at all!

If you're looking for a venue in Kilkenny that has it all then I couldn't recommend Newpark enough!

From the moment we met with Sineád, we knew that the Newpark hotel was the place for our wedding and it did not disappoint!

Sineád and her team are very friendly and approachable, there was nothing too big or small of a task for them. They answered any questions we had and gave us numerous recommendations for different vendors when needed. They took so much stress out of planning our wedding, it felt a breeze to organise as I felt they had such a big chunk of the day highly planned for me.

On the day of our wedding Newpark was elegantly set up and both the food and the staff were outstanding, so much so that people were complementing both for weeks to come after the wedding.

We had the most magical wedding day on 25th August 2023 and thankfully everything went off without a hitch thanks to Sinead, the wedding coordinator and the Newpark team.

Dimitri was amazing on the day, he couldn't have been more helpful and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. All of our guests were very complimentary regarding their meal and the service. Everyone was amazed with the portion sizes - no one was left hungry, that's for sure and the ballroom revamp was absolutely beautiful!

We were so pleased we stuck with Newpark for day 2, the later start gave everyone a chance to regroup, the bbq spread was delicious and the one man band you found was absolutely brilliant. Our guests are still raving about the weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with how it all went. We were thinking afterwards and couldn't fault Newpark or the service at all and if we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing!

If you are considering the NewPark Hotel for your wedding venue, don't think about it too long. Just book it!!!! Honestly, nothing was too much. A big shout out & thanks to our wedding coordinator Sinead, she went above & beyond. She is very easy to chat with and work with. Anything we needed, it was taken care of immediately. Another big thanks to one of the staff, Young Chap called Cian, He was very helpful to us both, I wish I had the names of all the other staff to thank them, all staff and management were so accommodating!!

We had our wedding here last Saturday. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for a wedding, night away, couples, spa day, family break. it is THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. from the very first day we visited the newpark as a potential wedding venue we were blown away. the staff have been outstanding each and every time we have set foot inside the hotel. Sinead, who was our main contact in relation to the wedding was always very quick to answer any questions we had and we always felt well taken care of. Aga was the main woman on the day of our wedding and without her it would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Dimitri was also amazing, i couldnt believe it when he approached me at 3am still offering to do anything he could for us, i was amazed. Cian was our main server at the top table he went above and beyond for us, especially when i realised that i forgot my speech, he printed it off for me. Stephen was our main link at our day 2, he was under pressure as double our original numbers turned up but he pulled it off and kept calm at all times. each and everyone of the servers on the day of the wedding and day two deserve a special mention as they were all outstanding, our guests kept commenting about how professional they staff were and how well trained they were. thank you Aoife, Ada, Bobby, Chloe, Roisin, Grace, Lucy, Renata, Romy, Enya, Emma W, Meghan, Miriam, Yvonne, Jai, Jack and Sara.

We want to thank ye from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing weekend ye provided for our wedding. We had day 2 at the New Park along with our wedding day and to say it exceeding all our expectations and more is an understatement.
The day ran so smoothly and seamlessly and there wasn't one thing we needed to think of/remind the staff of as it was all covered from start to finish.
All the staff went above and beyond and were so accommodating throughout the entire weekend.
All of our guests have not stopped commenting on the amazing food, staff and everything in between.

We could not recommend the Newpark hotel enough. We had our wedding there on 30th June this year. We are so thrilled with how everything went with the venue. Many of our friends and family have said it's the best service they have ever experienced at a wedding. The food fantastic and the staff were excellent. Our guests were thrilled with the quality of their bedrooms - as were we! Sinead was so helpful during the whole wedding planning process and everything felt effortless on the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding or a stay.

AMAZING! We can never thank every single person at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny enough for all they did before and most of all during our day. Their attention to detail in the planning made the day run so smoothly and effortlessly and every single staff member made everybody feel so special! Everybody raved about the food and service and most people genuinely said it was the best wedding they were ever at and that was mostly down to the amazing Venue and Staff at the Newpark .

Myself and my Husband got married at the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny on 04 June 2023. From the first day we went to view the hotel we were just blown away with how beautifully the ballroom and gardens were. We were also so impressed with the wedding coordinator Sinead. She was so helpful, gave so much information and laid out all of the possible options we could have on the day. The Newpark was the only hotel we viewed for our wedding day because we were just so impressed from the outset. Throughout the planning of the wedding Sinead was brilliant at getting back to all questions and requests. No matter our changes and requests the Newpark was so flexible. On the day Sinead and Agha were amazing. I was relaxed and happy the entire day as they just put me at ease that everything was being looked after. I had organised a secret birthday cake to be brought out after dinner with party hats too and it went brilliantly. We had the most amazing day and all of our guests were also so impressed and everyone raved about the food. I would absolutely recommend the Newpark Hotel for your wedding day.

The Newpark Hotel provided us with a classy and elegant venue for our wedding. The managers and the planners there are exceptional at their work. The food was complimented by everyone in the room and the service was beyond brilliant. No request was too big or small, each whim was catered to and we were well looked after.

We cannot thank the Newpark Hotel enough for an amazing wedding day and experience. It was really a 5 star quality service. A special thank you to Aga and all staff members who were so professional, friendly and helpful on the day. Sinead Fortune was a pleasure to work with, she was always at the end of the phone or available through email. All our guests really enjoyed the day.

Simply there was nothing we could fault about our wedding here. Firstly the staff were all amazing. They truly made our experience perfect. There really was nothing to small or big that they weren't willing to help us with. Everything was easy and that helped to keep everything calm. We stayed the night before, day of,and had our day two there. My husband and I stayed a 4th night also. The Reception room was so elegant and atmospheric with all the candles in the provided centerpieces. The food was all delicious. From the bridal party's little morning buffet getting ready to the cocktail hours nibbles, the dinner that people still tell me was amazing. Late night snacks and then canapes for day 2 you would really not be disappointed with the food. So many incredible options to choose from. All the options on the different menus that was the hard part. The grounds of the hotel have so many perfect little areas to take your wedding pictures. Plenty to choose from. My husband and iI always say we would do that whole weekend over again we truly had the best wedding. That is all down to the Newpark staff and all the hotel has to offer.

From the minute we attended a wedding fair in newpark and met with the team, we knew instantly that we wouldn't look anywhere else. The attention to detail, the solid advice and just the professionalism from everyone we met at Newpark was outstanding. Nothing was a problem.

We were thrilled with our decision to hold our wedding reception in Newpark. They were a pleasure to deal with during the wedding planning, especially Sinead who was very helpful and professional in all her dealings with us. The staff could not have done enough for us on the day and they took all the stress out of the finer details. The food was amazing with plenty of compliments from our guests and the reception room was set up beautifully. We would definitely recommend.

Before our wedding I had stayed in the new park on many occasions and could never fault staying there, which was the reason I decided to have my wedding venue here. The staff go out of there way to help everyone and when planning our wedding,there was no stress or hassle with the new park they took care of everything. The set up in the room was gorgeous, there was also a drink I drank that they didn't serve and they even went out of there way to order it in just for me on the day, I couldn't fault the wedding team or staff in anyway, it was a great day at the new park hotel.

Our experience with newpark Hotel for our wedding day was exceptional and also our day two. Anything we asked was catered for. They made the day hassle free. Also any time we visited we have a great experience.

We had our wedding at the Newpark Hotel in 2022 and genuinely could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Our original date had to be postponed by a year due to Covid, and the team at the Newpark made the entire process completely stress-free. There were no issues, no complications—just absolute understanding, support, and professionalism from start to finish.

On the day itself, the staff were seamless. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail was laid out exactly as we had hoped and imagined, and the whole day flowed perfectly because of how well the team worked behind the scenes. We had a few guests who, unfortunately, couldn’t attend the reception. At our last minute request, the staff arranged for their dinners—complete with wine—to be delivered to the hotel bedrooms of our extended family and friends who were babysitting our nieces and nephews. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us and to our family.

All of our guests commented on how exceptional both the service and the food were. The Newpark truly thought of everything, often before we even realised we needed it. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable.

All the staff in the hotel were amazing. So easy to work with and very attentive to the fine details. We had a two night wedding in the hotel and we did not have a single complaint from start to finish, everything was amazing. Sinead was always so easy to deal with and very responsive. The hotel has amazing baqueting staff who were so attentive on the day and made sure our guests and ourselves were all really well looked after. We are so happy we chose The Newpark for our wedding and would 100% recommend to any bride & groom.

Our wedding at the Newpark Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of our special day, every detail was handled with care and professionalism.

Newpark was our favourite family hotel and we celebrated many important occasions here so it made sense to have our wedding here. The wedding was a very small intimate wedding. Sinead was always available to discuss the details and gave me recommendations for local suppliers. The wait and bar staff were very attentive. Newpark made having a wedding in pandemic conditions easy going. We had a meeting with Sinead the next day to discuss how everything went, which everything went fantastic. We stayed 3 days in total and had a great time every day.
The only reason I am marking a 4/5 is for an item that went missing when collecting our wedding bits to leave the hotel. During our ceremony we had a lot of sentimental things such as a sand ceremony and letters to each other. Our letters we wrote to each other were put into a sealed box with bottle of Jack Daniels, which we planned to open on our 1st anniversary. When collecting the wedding bits the letters were missing which was disappointing. The staff at the time said that someone would contact us about this but they never did. I followed up with an email but no contact about it. I completely understand the two letters may have been mislaid, there's no monterary value and possibly nothing that can be done, however, we would have appreciated some follow up about it. So it is the lack of follow up after the wedding that was disappointing.

We had our wedding here back in 2021 and we were so happy we chose the Newpark. Everything was top class and people still talk about how good the food was. The staff were great to deal with and I would highly recommend this hotel for your wedding or event.

The Newpark were fantastic. Our wedding was postponed 3 times due to Cobid restrictions and they couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating with new dates and revised numbers. The lead up to the big day and the day itself ran so well and we were delighted. Our guest all commented how great the service and venue were. Couldn’t recommend them enough

We had the most amazing day of our lives at Newpark, we got married in 2021 when Covid restrictions were still in place but Newpark managed to give us the best day ever!! We now go back with our 2 (soon to be 3!!) kids who absolutely love the hotel as much as us :)

We cannot say enough about the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny and the staff which made our wedding day run like a oiled machine not to mention the beautiful venue and decorations. The feedback we have received back from our guests is all so positive and one guest even commented that her brother owns a 5 star hotel but that the Newpark food and service was far superior! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH. Everything from the staff, food, venue and value for money was fantastic. A special mention and thanks to Sinead our Wedding Co-ordinator and to Nicky who ran the ballroom the night of our wedding - if you want people in the know with experience and who are so professional and put you at ease then these are the people to deal with. Nothing was a problem or too much effort, before, during or after the wedding. We are so delighted we picked this venue. Plenty of food, parking, rooms and ballroom space for guests. We had approx. 240 people attend on the day and there was plenty of room and everyone from young to old were catered for. Even the children had a 2 hour fully supervised area with games and entertainment while their parents could enjoy dinner and socialise. If you are considering the Newpark I pomise you will not be disappointed - we have high standards and these were most definitely exceeded. Thank you to all the staff at the Newpark for making our day and our guests day so special and memorable!

Newpark Hotel was the only wedding venue we looked at, as we knew how well they catered for all guests and how much we enjoyed weddings there in the past. We didn't want to go anywhere else!
Sin?ad, our wedding co-ordinator, was great to deal with; professional, personable, quick to respond to emails, and no task or query was ever too much. She made the planning and decision-making very easy and gave great advice. We knew we were in safe hands.
On the day, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, the staff were very friendly, attentive and accomodating, and the delicious food was a highlight of many people's day.
Thanks to Nicky on the day too, who looked after the bridal party so well and even managed to settle some nerves at the top table!

Newpark hotel was an amazing place to have our wedding, from the first meeting with our wedding planner to the day itself everyone was so professional and friendly. We were made to feel so special not only for the day of the wedding but the entire weekend we spent there. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff that work there. We had an amazing Wedding Day at The Newpark. Sinead, Niall and their team were fantastic to deal with and just gently took control on the day for us making sure all was ok but not over the top either. All our guests commented on the fantastic food and service. We had our second day celebrations there also and the open farm was a big hit with the smaller guests. Cannot recommend the team and experience at Newpark enough.

The Newpark Hotel for a wedding-in 4 words- out of this world!!! I could not praise them enough in every aspect of our wedding day. On the run up to our wedding day, the ladies at the office contacted us weekly and guided us on the next steps. They ensured we had everything organised ahead of time and were such a pleasure to deal with.

We had a lot of different elements happening at our wedding, such as the band playing before the meal and the Newpark were more than happy to accommodate our wishes.

The servers always had a smile on their faces and very polite. The manager at our wedding could not do enough for us. He was always by our side without being 'intrusive' and made sure everything ran smoothly.

The quality of food was excellent- tasty, pleasing to the high and the chef accommodated to all dietary requirements.

All in all, the Newpark Hotel is an outstanding hotel. They went above and beyond our expectations and most importantly they left us wanting nothing.

The Newpark were exceptional in how they dealt with us and made our wedding day truly amazing, completely hitch free and made us feel so special. They went above and beyond and couldn't possibly have done anymore. Truly fabulous venue. Food amazing and suggestions they made also amazing.

The new park was fantastic. Food was gorgeous atmosphere was amazing and the ball room and bar are both comfortable which is what guests want at a wedding. Mark is an amazing manager, the new park do not realise how brilliant this man is. No matter who we spoke too my husband would only listen to me if I said mark said something. From day one he totally made me feel at ease and if there ever was any issue there was never a hesitation to meet us and clarify. I got mark any time I needed him on phone. I had extra requests as in table plans and different favours at different tables and this was never any problem anything I asked was done and done perfectly. Nothing is a problem to this hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous at all times. We called into hotel only last week nearly a year after we got married and mark was over to us chatting about our honey moon. Seriously nice man I can't praise him enough. Also ger alley is brilliant too making us feel important at all times and made me feel like our wedding was most important to him too and not just to us. He looked after us too both before and after the wedding and als polite and just very friendly. Niall the night manager was very nice too and good crack. I really can't say a bad word about this hotel our wedding day was amazing and that's a huge thanks to the management and staff of the new park hotel.

We could not rate Newpark Hotel highly enough having held our wedding there last month. From the day we started dealing with Newpark, we were treated in the most professional and friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions and tips given to us were fantastic. The day of the wedding has been described to us by many of our guests as "perfection", from the food (which was out of this world) to the service to the hotel decor itself. We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel to any future brides considering this venue. Yvonne (wedding co-ordinator), Mark, Ger and Niall were all an absolute pleasure to deal with and took any stress out of the day. We had the most memorable, perfect and amazing day and can not thank the Newpark enough as it was all down to their hard work, attention to detail and top class service.

Overall all we were delighted with the Newpark; food, service, atmosphere were all excellent and perfect on the day. When we initially booked we were dealing with a very friendly and competent lady who couldn't have been more helpful but then another lady (the weddings co-ordinator!) took over our booking who was anything but helpful and made things unnecessarily stressful. Her reputation preceded her so we knew to ignore her and that everything would be perfect on the day; which it was. All other staff were excellent.
