From the minute we booked our wedding with the Newpark Hotel we were absolutely blown away. From the attention to detail, the no hassle attitude and all the help from the team we could not fault the Newpark Hotel. We got married in October 2025 and had the best day of our lives all because of wedding team.

We could not fault the Newpark on anything in the lead up to or on our Wedding Day. Right from the 1st Day we met her Michaela was a dream to deal with and nothing was too much trouble she was always avaliable to help with any queries. Our wedding day was perfect the service was exceptional and the food was amazing. We have received so many compliments from guests on how enjoyable the day was. Well Done Michaela and Newpark Team

We couldn't have been happier having our wedding in Newpark. The Team were amazing! Nothing was an issue coming up the wedding and on the day they look after everything and everyone we didnt need to worry about a thing.

We had our wedding at the New park Hotel Kilkenny and it was absolutely perfect. The modern and romantic atmosphere made the day so special, and the staff were exceptional from start to finish. The food was spectacular, and every member of the wedding team went above and beyond to make sure our day was unforgettable.

All of the staff in Newpark hotel were amazing. They went above and beyond for my family and friends and provided such a smooth, chilled and fun wedding day for me and my husband. We wish we could relive the day again!

Myself and my Wife got Married in the Newpark in July 2025 and from the day we walked through the doors the welcome and how professional the staff were made our decision easy. we viewed 10 other venues but we knew the bar was set high from the Newpark Hotel.

The Value and service was first class and no matter what worries or questions we had, the Newpark had all the answers and help we needed.

Food and service was stupendous and there was so much food.

The Newpark Hotel outdid themselves for our wedding day. From our first viewing in March 2024, we were hooked, even after viewing a few other venues. The welcome and homely feeling of the hotel and its staff meant the other venues didn't get a look in. And we are so glad we went with our gut and chose the Newpark.

From Sinead in the early stages to Mary and Michaela and all the team, we were so well looked after all the way through. All our requests were accommodated and their advice along the way was so helpful.

We stayed the night before and had a lovely meal with our families, then the next morning they provided a lovely room for hair and makeup to be done and brought breakfast to us. Marita met us on the way out the door to the church with glasses of water. Such a small gesture but it really is the little details that make the difference. We really didn't have to think about anything all day.

And from when everyone arrived at the hotel later on the staff were there to see that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious(and there was plenty of it!), the service was speedy and professional, the atmosphere was so relaxed and everything just flowed. A special thanks to Peter and Aoife who were always around to keep everything moving along. Our guests are still talking about the amazing food, the gorgeous banquet room and how good the service was.

Mary & Michaela put us at complete ease from our first meeting in the Newpark. Nothing was an issue and they went out of their way to accommodate our requests. All our guests are still talking about the dinner and level of service the staff provided all day long and into the early morning.. We couldn't thank the Newpark enough for far exceeding our expectations and allowing us to relax on the day. Look no further in my opinion!

After having met with the wedding team at the Newpark Hotel, we knew it was the perfect hotel for us. All of the team, especially Mary and Laura, went above and beyond for us from start to finish. I wish we could remember the names of the rest of the amazing team because each and every one of them are due a mention. What a welcoming hotel with the friendliest staff. We both agreed it was a hotel that made us feel so at home. Both my partner and I have been to numerous weddings and the food couldn’t be compared to the food we had at the Newpark Hotel - the chateaubriand was the best we have ever had and Mary was fantastic in accommodating us so well to ensure we had the perfect package for our day. What was memorable when organising our wedding is that the staff never pushed for the more pricy options and left all the extras down to us, simply making sure we were well informed never feeling any pressure unlike other hotels that we viewed.
All of our guests complimented the amazing food and service that they received. Everyone felt so relaxed and at ease throughout the day, including ourselves. We never once had a worry.
The bridal suite on the night was amazing and another amazing touch from the hotel was a bottle of champagne with personalised champagne flutes with our names and wedding date on them.
We also booked our day two with the hotel, in the terrace area. It was stunning. They offered a package with a one man band, bbq and prosecco on arrival. We also couldn’t recommend this enough. More amazing food and again, the staff could not be faulted.
If you are considering booking this hotel -DO IT! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. You can be assured that your wedding day is in safe and beyond capable hands. Thank you again to all at the Newpark Hotel for exceeding our expectations.

We recently had our wedding at Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. From the moment we began planning, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They made us feel like our special day mattered just as much to them as it did to us.

The venue itself is stunning — from the elegant ballroom to the beautifully maintained outdoor spaces. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and the impeccable service throughout the night.

We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark and had our "day two" here also. Let me tell you about our experience.
From the wedding showcase nearly two years before the wedding to the BBQ on day two we had the most amazing experience of our lives.
The Newpark made everything so easy and were so helpful in the planning and getting us through both days.

The staff were fantastic, they made the day feel effortless and took all the stress away.
Mary made us feel at ease when planning it all there was no request to complicated and nothing she couldn't answer.
Aga went above and beyond all day to look after our every need. They couldn't do enough for us. We were truly stunned by the level of service was amazing.
Even the bar staff need a shout out as they put up with all night, They were good craic and its a credit to them.

The food was absolutely delicious, with all the guests complimenting it. The chefs catered for all guests and their dietary needs.

The ballroom in particular was stunning and made the day feel more special. The private garden off the ballroom was great to be able to get out for some air after to much dancing but not be away from the guests.

The second day of our wedding was just as incredible as the first from getting breakfast in bed to chilling in the pool all day till it was time for BBQ.
The staff once again made everything so easy and care free for us we got to enjoy it as much as the guests. The area for the BBQ was incredible we were able to get the roof opened to enjoy the good weather and the atmosphere was great. A great place to unwind after the day before and to catch up with friends and family.
The BBQ was a standout, the variety and quality was incredible. (Maybe even better that the wedding meal) I'm sure the hotel won't mind me saying that.
The guests also loved the BBQ and they all told us how much they enjoyed it.

The two days went so fast but the memories will last.

We had our wedding reception in Newpark on 14th March this year and it was the best day of our lives! When we got engaged, we always knew we wanted to get married in Newpark. We had both attended weddings there on many occasions and it is by far the best venue in our opinion. From the day we booked our wedding at Newpark Mary, the wedding coordinator, was so lovely and helpful and every time we met with her she reassured us and made us so excited for the big day. The day itself could not have went better and the guest were amazed with the venue and how lovely the staff were on the evening. The main thing that the guests were talking about was how amazing the food. Several people also complimented how nice the room looked and the centre pieces on tables that Newpark also provide. Aga was looking after us on the day and she made sure that we were happy with how the day was going and was always around if we needed her. Honestly I could not recommend Newpark enough and I would advise any Bride or Groom to consider checking it out!

Everything ran so smoothly and the hotel couldn’t have done any more for us. A truly memorable day.

My husband and I had our wedding here. The hotel was so helpful from start to finish. Sinead went through everything with us, all the little details and was very quick to reply to any questions that we had. On the day of the wedding, Sinead and Aga helped us ease into the day as we were a bit nervous. Aga made sure we were properly looked after and always checked in on us. We can't begin to describe how magical our wedding day was for us. After all the planning and preparation, the day came and went and was better than we could have ever imagined, thanks in no small part to Sinéad and the incredible team at the Newpark Hotel. We booked our date 2 years out and had regular communication and updates from Sinéad, the wedding coordinator, throughout the build-up. No ask was too big or small; we were truly made feel special and valued throughout the experience. The wedding-tasting meal was such a highlight of the build-up for us. The food was incredible, and we were spoiled for choice. We met with Sinéad several times as the wedding day got closer. We knew that going into the wedding day, the Newpark had everything covered, and we could trust them completely to give our guests a memorable day. On the day itself, the staff at the Newpark went above and beyond for us. The food was incredible, and people were still genuinely talking about the meal and the beautiful ambience in the Newpark. The garden of the ballroom was wonderful for photographs after the meal. A special mention goes to Aga, who cared for us throughout the day. She was a complete pro and ensured the day went smoothly- it was so stress-free for us as a couple. I can't thank Sinéad, Aga and the team at the Newpark enough for giving us one of the best days of our lives- I wish we could do it all over again!

We got married in the Newpark hotel in May. The day was excellent from start to finish. The weddings manager Sinead is an absolute dream to work with, and any future brides dream weddings manager as she is always free to answer any questions and willing to assist with any changes or queries we had. She is highly organised and an excellent representative employee for the hotel. Our guests are still coming to us with how good the food and over all service was on the day. A shoutout also to Aga who was excellent on the day keeping us informed of the flow of the day and ensuring the service was top notch. We can not put into words how fantastic everyone in Newpark were for our wedding. The service is top quality, food fantastic and we also had a lot of family stay in the hotel for a number of nights who loved it, we also had a large number of children between the ages of 2 to 16 and there was lots of entertainment for them also and of course the kids club.

Particular mention for Sinead who was really great to work with and Aga who made the day run smoothly and stress free for us.

We had our wedding here in May 2024 and I couldn't recommend Newpark enough. From the minute we went to view the venue we were so well looked after. We were told that the ballroom/reception area would undergo a renovation just before our wedding which made us slightly nervous but it looked absolutely amazing and we were kept informed with updates throughout the renovation.

The food was incredible, the staff were amazing, there was absolutely no lag in service and everyone was so well looked after. I even realised when I was sitting at the meal that I had left something in a bag in the bridal suite and a member of staff went and got it for me.

A special shout out to the wedding coordinators who go above and beyond for you on your wedding day but make it seem like it's no trouble at all!

If you're looking for a venue in Kilkenny that has it all then I couldn't recommend Newpark enough!

People are still talking about how good it was. A credit to all the staff at Newpark hotel, they went above and beyond for us on the day of our wedding. From the day we viewed the Newpark up until after our wedding the service we received was amazing the staff from reception, bar restaurant room attendings to the coordinator and management. The venue was beautiful we had 180 guests we were so well looked after we will come back yearly

We had the most magical wedding day on 25th August 2023 and thankfully everything went off without a hitch thanks to Sinead, the wedding coordinator and the Newpark team.

Dimitri was amazing on the day, he couldn't have been more helpful and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. All of our guests were very complimentary regarding their meal and the service. Everyone was amazed with the portion sizes - no one was left hungry, that's for sure and the ballroom revamp was absolutely beautiful!

We were so pleased we stuck with Newpark for day 2, the later start gave everyone a chance to regroup, the bbq spread was delicious and the one man band you found was absolutely brilliant. Our guests are still raving about the weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with how it all went. We were thinking afterwards and couldn't fault Newpark or the service at all and if we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing!

My husband and I got married in the Newpark Hotel on the 11th August 2023. Having worked in the Newpark Hotel for a couple of years I knew what to expect when getting married here, however, the service provided from beginning to end was exceptional. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the process so straightforward. Sin?ad, the wedding team, and the hotel management were so understanding when we got news that a family member was unwell, they were so kind and understanding when we had to think about certain modifications to be made because of this. Aga had a firm handle on everything that went on during the day, it ran so smoothly and she was able to handle any queries that cropped up throughout the afternoon. The honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi, along with a fantastic breakfast in bed the next day topped it all off. We received so many compliments on the food and service. The Newpark Hotel really is the best in the business.

We had our wedding here last Saturday. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for a wedding, night away, couples, spa day, family break. it is THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. from the very first day we visited the newpark as a potential wedding venue we were blown away. the staff have been outstanding each and every time we have set foot inside the hotel. Sinead, who was our main contact in relation to the wedding was always very quick to answer any questions we had and we always felt well taken care of. Aga was the main woman on the day of our wedding and without her it would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Dimitri was also amazing, i couldnt believe it when he approached me at 3am still offering to do anything he could for us, i was amazed. Cian was our main server at the top table he went above and beyond for us, especially when i realised that i forgot my speech, he printed it off for me. Stephen was our main link at our day 2, he was under pressure as double our original numbers turned up but he pulled it off and kept calm at all times. each and everyone of the servers on the day of the wedding and day two deserve a special mention as they were all outstanding, our guests kept commenting about how professional they staff were and how well trained they were. thank you Aoife, Ada, Bobby, Chloe, Roisin, Grace, Lucy, Renata, Romy, Enya, Emma W, Meghan, Miriam, Yvonne, Jai, Jack and Sara.

We had our wedding there in August 2023. Working with Sin?ad in the lead up was stress free and super enjoyable. She is great to deal with and nothing was too much for her to deal with. ?That's no problem.? Was her most used phrase.

The meal, the setup, the ballroom, the drinks reception, dealing with our outside vendors ?. All amazing. Guests raved about the food and the drinks reception was generous. Guests were happy and well fed.

Aga was an absolute star during the meal and throughout the day. She made us feel so relaxed and was super organised which we loved.

The hotel honestly couldn't do enough for us and we are so happy we choose them for our reception.

We also decided to have our day 2 there with the bbq. Relaxed and picture perfect. We had a great day.

We could not recommend the Newpark hotel enough. We had our wedding there on 30th June this year. We are so thrilled with how everything went with the venue. Many of our friends and family have said it's the best service they have ever experienced at a wedding. The food fantastic and the staff were excellent. Our guests were thrilled with the quality of their bedrooms - as were we! Sinead was so helpful during the whole wedding planning process and everything felt effortless on the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding or a stay.

The Newpark was the first and only venue we viewed. Sin?ad from the get go was amazing and extremely helpful. There was never any problem with anything I could email her about anything and she was straight back to me, so helpful and so kind.The new refurbished ballroom is beautiful looking and we were lucky to have it. The team on the day were amazing they couldn't of done enough for us and the food was absolutely delicious, everybody commented on how good the food was. We had the best day ever there and I would recommend the Newpark to anyone.

Myself and my Husband got married at the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny on 04 June 2023. From the first day we went to view the hotel we were just blown away with how beautifully the ballroom and gardens were. We were also so impressed with the wedding coordinator Sinead. She was so helpful, gave so much information and laid out all of the possible options we could have on the day. The Newpark was the only hotel we viewed for our wedding day because we were just so impressed from the outset. Throughout the planning of the wedding Sinead was brilliant at getting back to all questions and requests. No matter our changes and requests the Newpark was so flexible. On the day Sinead and Agha were amazing. I was relaxed and happy the entire day as they just put me at ease that everything was being looked after. I had organised a secret birthday cake to be brought out after dinner with party hats too and it went brilliantly. We had the most amazing day and all of our guests were also so impressed and everyone raved about the food. I would absolutely recommend the Newpark Hotel for your wedding day.

we got married in Newpark in April 2023, and everyone who was a guest still says how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The organising was made so easy by the coordinators and they were so helpful any time I had to reach out with any questions. The wedding room is so beautiful and we didn’t need to spend money adding table toppers etc as the hotel has it set up perfectly already. We spent 3 nights for our wedding and we were looked after from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Really great to have the park out the back too for any kids who were at the wedding. We were thrilled with our decision to hold our wedding reception in Newpark. They were a pleasure to deal with during the wedding planning, especially Sinead who was very helpful and professional in all her dealings with us. All the staff in the hotel were amazing. So easy to work with and very attentive to the fine details. We had a two night wedding in the hotel and we did not have a single complaint from start to finish, everything was amazing. Sinead was always so easy to deal with and very responsive. The hotel has amazing baqueting staff who were so attentive on the day and made sure our guests and ourselves were all really well looked after. We are so happy we chose The Newpark for our wedding and would 100% recommend to any bride & groom.

Our wedding at the Newpark Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of our special day, every detail was handled with care and professionalism.

The team went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran seamlessly. Their warmth, organisation , and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process.

Newpark was our favourite family hotel and we celebrated many important occasions here so it made sense to have our wedding here. The wedding was a very small intimate wedding. Sinead was always available to discuss the details and gave me recommendations for local suppliers. The wait and bar staff were very attentive. Newpark made having a wedding in pandemic conditions easy going. We had a meeting with Sinead the next day to discuss how everything went, which everything went fantastic. We stayed 3 days in total and had a great time every day.
The only reason I am marking a 4/5 is for an item that went missing when collecting our wedding bits to leave the hotel. During our ceremony we had a lot of sentimental things such as a sand ceremony and letters to each other. Our letters we wrote to each other were put into a sealed box with bottle of Jack Daniels, which we planned to open on our 1st anniversary. When collecting the wedding bits the letters were missing which was disappointing. The staff at the time said that someone would contact us about this but they never did. I followed up with an email but no contact about it. I completely understand the two letters may have been mislaid, there's no monterary value and possibly nothing that can be done, however, we would have appreciated some follow up about it. So it is the lack of follow up after the wedding that was disappointing.

Amazing hotel and service. Nothing was ever too much.

The Newpark Hotel have mastered the art of running a perfect wedding. All members of the planning team and the management on the day were exceptional and provided a service second to none. In fact all members of wait staff and bar staff played their roles superbly and we were catered for at every turn. The details of our day were customised to our requests and on the day those details were executed flawlessly. The quality of the food was excellent and was the element of the day most people remarked on. Service was quick and efficient and contributed to an excellent overall flow on the day. The table settings, room decor and seating layout was fabulous and really elevated our photos. Out wedding day was the best day ever and I wish I could do it all again... and if I could, I'd do it in The Newpark Hotel again.

We had a small wedding ceremony of under 30 people, they exceeded our expectations.
They gave us great value on everything especially when you compare them to other places that offer the same. They were always quick to respond to any queries we had, they were always there to meet and help us with any unusuall request we had, We would like to say special thanks to the whole team especially Nicky he is a real gem if it wasn't for him who knows how this ceremony would of turned out, sometimes it seemed as if he was reading our minds, his hospitality and management skills are top-noch

Newpark Hotel was the only wedding venue we looked at, as we knew how well they catered for all guests and how much we enjoyed weddings there in the past. We didn't want to go anywhere else!
Sin?ad, our wedding co-ordinator, was great to deal with; professional, personable, quick to respond to emails, and no task or query was ever too much. She made the planning and decision-making very easy and gave great advice. We knew we were in safe hands.
On the day, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, the staff were very friendly, attentive and accomodating, and the delicious food was a highlight of many people's day.
Thanks to Nicky on the day too, who looked after the bridal party so well and even managed to settle some nerves at the top table!

Wedding in Newpark was organized by event manager Sin?ad Fortune she was very efficient and was always accommodating, nothing was ever a problem or an issue that she was unable to solve.,
We had the utmost confidence in our choice and the service was outstanding, the staff all seem to be happy and like a family wanting the same thing for you the newly weds to have the best day ever,
The food was the talk of our quests, the quality the quantity, the top table was served with with music and performance by waiters & waitresses, I thought I was on a cruise, the standard was exceptional.
The room was perfection I cried when I saw it before dinner, Nicki the manager on that weekend had every reason to be proud, he does a good job and runs a great team catering to 200 quests.
That's only the reception the rooms top class everyone loved their bedrooms and how comfy the beds were, the breakfast staff so friendly and dealt with a large crowd day after the wedding.
We stayed on until Tuesday not wanting it to end.

Newpark hotel was an amazing place to have our wedding, from the first meeting with our wedding planner to the day itself everyone was so professional and friendly. We were made to feel so special not only for the day of the wedding but the entire weekend we spent there. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff that work there. I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel high enough. The staff are amazing and pay attention to every little detail. Everything was carried out by all perfectly. The service was the absolute best and the food was to the absolute highest standard. All our guests were completely blown away. The Newpark takes away all that talk about bridal stress, they have everything and more to make your day a dream. The day they created for us was an absolute dream come true. We had an amazing Wedding Day at The Newpark. Sinead, Niall and their team were fantastic to deal with and just gently took control on the day for us making sure all was ok but not over the top either. All our guests commented on the fantastic food and service. We had our second day celebrations there also and the open farm was a big hit with the smaller guests. Cannot recommend the team and experience at Newpark enough.

I would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel. Their level of service from the events team, to the receptionists, to the bar staff and waiting staff was outstanding. What I loved was that this service wasn't just to us as the bridal couple but that all our guests commented on the service too. The food was gorgeous and they were able to provide plenty of options for coeliacs that tasted delicious too. It rained on our day but the hotel look so beautiful that it didn't take away from the day at all. If I had to choose all over again I would pick them time and time again.

The Newpark were exceptional in how they dealt with us and made our wedding day truly amazing, completely hitch free and made us feel so special. They went above and beyond and couldn't possibly have done anymore. Truly fabulous venue. Food amazing and suggestions they made also amazing.

The staff are always at hand for any queries and are so efficient and easy to deal with. Our day ran really smoothly and we had no worries thanks to the pleasant and highly competent staff at The Newpark Hotel.

We could not rate Newpark Hotel highly enough having held our wedding there last month. From the day we started dealing with Newpark, we were treated in the most professional and friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions and tips given to us were fantastic. The day of the wedding has been described to us by many of our guests as "perfection", from the food (which was out of this world) to the service to the hotel decor itself. We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel to any future brides considering this venue. Yvonne (wedding co-ordinator), Mark, Ger and Niall were all an absolute pleasure to deal with and took any stress out of the day. We had the most memorable, perfect and amazing day and can not thank the Newpark enough as it was all down to their hard work, attention to detail and top class service.

When we set out to plan our wedding I had very definite ideas about what I wanted, when I spoke to Yvonne I was sold, straight away she totally got what we wanted!we were celebrating our wedding in two parts, we were having 35 guests for dinner in Newark and a party the following weekend in a dublin venue! We wanted to host our guests in a beautiful venue, in intimate smaller space because of numbers. We didn't want to be over formal, we wanted a personal high quality service, and food that people would enjoy!!! We wanted the best with small numbers we really wanted it to be extra special...... So we booked the Parksuite in the Newark for a banquet table. Every detail I wanted, the Newark team delivered and even added considerations that I hadn't even thought of!!! Every staff member we met from porter to general manager was amazing!! The courtesy 's and hospitality of this team can not be understated!!!!! I can't tell you enough about how good they all were..... Little things like the wedding coordinator Yvonne introducing you to the duty manager niall that you would be meeting the wedding day!! Being greeted by name by the Gm every time you visit!! All my guests new their waitresses by name and everyone couldn't say enough good things about how lovely everyone was!!! Each of my guests have sinced returned to the Newark and have said they got the same service on the second visit!!! I have never stayed in a hotel that gives you such exemplary service!!! We were not spending giant amounts of money with this venue but the level of service and the attention to detail we might as well have been booking out the entire place!!!!Can't recommend them enough.....super venue, good. Service, team and accommodation!!!!!! As I mentioned at beginning of review, we were having wedding celebration in two parts....the only pitfall of booking the new park is dat their incredible service quality and value really showed up our second venue( which was very average) and highlighted what great hotels and teams the Newark has!!!!
