We got married in August 2026 and was an amazing day from start to finish! The hotel were a dream to work with so helpful in every way! Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Both of our children are autistic and the hotel were extremely accommodating to help them enjoy the day as much as we did! The food was also incredible and all of our guests thought so too! Really was the most amazing day and wouldn’t change a single detail!

We couldn’t recommend Newpark Hotel highly enough. From start to finish, everything was so well organised, and the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding really special. We also had our Day 2 celebrations in the terrace, which was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy another day with everyone. The food, service and atmosphere across both days was amazing.
We were thrilled with how well the hotel managed my gluten-free requirements. Plenty of delicious options and no fuss at all, which gave us huge peace of mind.
We’re so grateful to the whole team and are already looking forward to coming back for future visits. A special mention has to go to Orla, the Wedding Manager, who was absolutely excellent.

We had the most amazing wedding at the Newpark hotel. Orla, Michaela & Siobhan made everything extremely easy for us.
On the day, as a bride you definitely experience a little worry over certain things but on the day I never once had to worry. The team were one step ahead with everything. The service is absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, all of them were so friendly & helpful. Their attention to detail is exceptional and every single element of the wedding ran smoothly. A gorgeous venue with a real family feel.
The food was so important to us, what was served was beyond delicious & plentiful, nothing only impressing us but all of our guests.
Also, compared to other venues, aesthetically, location & quality of food, I felt it was unbelievable value for money.
Thank you so much for everything Newpark

We couldn’t recommend the Newpark Hotel enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we started planning our wedding, the team were so helpful, professional and genuinely lovely to deal with.
A special mention has to go to Michaela and Orla, our wedding coordinators, who were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. They were always so helpful, gave us great advice whenever we needed it, and were incredibly patient with the many emails and questions we had in the lead-up to the wedding. Their communication was excellent and they made the whole planning process feel so much easier and more relaxed.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The Ballroom Garden was perfect for our drinks reception and created such a beautiful setting for our guests to mingle and enjoy the afternoon. It really was the perfect space for our wedding.
And the food deserves a special mention It was absolutely fabulous, and we had so many of our guests comment on how delicious everything was. It was clear that a huge amount of care went into every part of the day.
We are so grateful to the whole team at the Newpark for helping make our wedding day so special. Michaela and Orla were a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate our wedding with.
We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

We are Tom & James, and we got married on the 02nd of June 2026 in a private ceremony with our parents and grandparents in Kilkenny. Then on the 20th of June 2026, we celebrated big with our family and friends in The Newpark Hotel.
When it came to picking the venue we genuinely only went to view The Newpark Hotel. We had been to so many fun wedding here and we were always very impressed with the food and the ballroom décor.
Orla our wedding planner never said no to any of our requests, this made planning and organising so easy and fun for us both.
On the day Siobhan from the hotel wedding team kept us so calm and was never too far away with a smile or an encouraging word for us before we walked into the ballroom and before I gave my speech. She and the hotel staff kept the flow of day seamless and even things we planned felt like a surprise because of how well it was presented to us.
The most special part of the wedding was that our dog Miller could join us in the garden area for the reception. He had the best time, and we couldn’t have been happier to have him with us.
Our photographer, Selina O’Meara was amazing and captured our entire day so beautifully. Our band Big Generator were a massive hit, and the energy they brought to the dance floor is incredible to see back in Selina’s photos.

Our wedding reception was at the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny in June this year. Prior to our day it was clear from the start that we were going to be well looked after, we felt so prioritised by the staff, Orla and Michaela were so attentive throughout and made us always feel so at ease, nothing was ever an issue. The grounds were stunning for photos, the lobby was gorgeous when we walked into our reception. The ballroom was so elegantly decorated, and the staff were incredibly professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was delicious, and there was a fantastic atmosphere all evening. It was a truly unforgettable day we were so so happy we chose the Newpark hotel for our special day.

We got married in May and I have to say everything was seamless! The day glided so smoothly and even when there was a hiccup because our band had broken down on the way to the newpark, the newpark staff had it dealt with and organised the dj to come in earlier and fill the gap without us even knowing! They only told us about the issue once it was all dealt with and sorted. The food is 10/10 and it’s a stunning venue inside and out. It’s a no brainer for couples who already have children as our kids where so entertained with the dino park and play room and pool. Staff where very flexible and the few behind the bar on the night where up for the craic whilst giving a fantastic service.
I wish we could go back and do it all again!

We recently had our wedding at The Newpark and from the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for us. From the very beginning and throughout the entire day, every member of staff was so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel so easy and reassuring. Nothing was ever a problem, no matter how small the request, and they always made us feel completely supported and cared for.
A very special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Mary along with Sinead, Michella, Aoife,Niall, Aga, Shane, David and everyone else who were just fantastic. You all were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Thr calmness, organisation, and kindness meant so much to us and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We always felt in the safest hands guiding us through everything.
Walking into the room and seeing everything set up so beautifully was such an emotional moment for us. Every detail was perfect, and it truly felt like a dream come to life.
On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly and we were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the staff were and how well everything was organised.
Our wedding day was one of the most important days of our lives, and thanks to the amazing team at The Newpark it was even more perfect than we could have imagined. We will always be so grateful for the care, warmth, and professionalism they showed us.

We recently had our wedding at the Newpark, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
The staff were exceptional — professional, friendly, and so attentive to every detail. In the lead-up to the wedding, Mary and the team made the whole planning process feel effortless. They were always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure everything ran smoothly. On the day itself, everything was seamless. We felt completely relaxed knowing we were in such capable hands.
The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a fabulous function room that created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The food was so important to us, and on the day, it was outstanding — our guests are still talking about how good it was! The service throughout the day was impeccable, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests and we were looked after.
We truly had the best day of our lives and are so grateful to everyone at the Newpark for making it so special. We wouldn’t change a single thing and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a perfect wedding experience.
Thank you again, especially to Mary, but also to the entire team, for giving us memories we will cherish forever!

We recently had our wedding reception at The Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and we truly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere special - and it exceeded every expectation.
The food was absolutely incredible. So many of our guests are still talking about it 3 weeks later! Every course was beautifully presented and tasted even better than we had remembered from our tasting session.
The wedding team ,especially our wedding co-ordinator Mary ,were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the whole process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Nothing was ever a problem -no request too big or too small. They were always responsive, calm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
We also had a large guest list, and the venue handled it effortlessly. Everything ran seamlessly! The staff in the hotel were fantastic from Reception to Bar Staff to Waiting Staff and Housekeeping Staff...everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. One of the owners of the hotel even went out of his way to visit us at the top table before our meal and introduce himself and check that we were happy with how everything was going.Special Mention for Siobhan also who was the Manager looking after us on the day and who had shown us around on our first visit to the wedding showcase two years previously which led to us booking our wedding with the hotel. She is amazing and ensured that everything was perfect for us on the day!
If you’re looking for a venue that combines exceptional service, outstanding food, and a team who truly care, this is the place for you. We couldn't have picked a better venue and would give more than 5 stars if we could!
Thank you so much to Mary,Michaela,Siobhan & all at The Newpark Hotel again.
We look forward to visiting again soon!

We got married in the Newpark last Christmas & we couldn't recommend the hotel enough to any other engaged couples.
The staff at the Newpark could not have done more in the lead up to our wedding & on the day itself. As a hotel, they went above & beyond to meet our wishes for our wedding, whether it be requests in the drinks reception, to helping out last minute with an easel.
There is a level of professionalism within the Newpark hotel that is unmatched.
On the day we couldn't fault a thing from the meal to the Christmas decorations, it was everything we wanted.
There is always a sense of family in the hotel & it's a lovely touch that one of the Flynn's, came in to congratulate us on the day.
To Gill, Mary, Michaela & everyone else on the events team - thank you so much for everything you did for us!

What can I say about Newpark Hotel, it was just an amazing hotel! The wedding team especially Michaela were just exceptional. Every tiny detail was listened to, nothing was ever a bother when we asked a question. We had to move our wedding date forward as a family member was unwell and I cannot put into words how grateful we are for Newpark making it such an ease to do. The kindness and compassion shown will never be forgotten in our house. The venue was spectacular, we got married in November and we never planned a winter wedding but the Christmas decorations were so magical and I would encourage anyone to have a winter wedding in this venue. The pictures we have in the venue are just stunning. On the day, the food was amazing and all our guests agreed and couldn’t get over how attentive and professional all the staff were. Nothing was any trouble on the lead up or on the day! We also had small children and teenagers at our wedding and there was so much for them to do in the hotel, they were never bored! If in doubt book this venue!

Thank you so much, Ciara, for taking the time to share such a beautiful review.
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your wedding journey, and your kind words mean more to our entire team than you know. We are especially touched that you felt so supported when your wedding date needed to be changed at such an important and difficult time for your family. Being able to help make things a little easier for you was truly the least we could do.
Michaela and the whole Weddings Team will be absolutely delighted to read your lovely words! And we couldn't agree more about a winter wedding at Newpark, the Christmas decorations really do make the hotel feel extra magical.
We are so happy to hear that you and your guests enjoyed the food, the service and everything Newpark has to offer, including our younger guests! It was a pleasure to welcome you all, and we hope your beautiful photographs always bring you back to such a special day.
Thank you again for choosing Newpark Hotel and for trusting us with such an important occasion. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.

We got married in the Newpark hotel on the 15th November, 2025. We had looked at the Newpark in January 2024, and we were both really impressed with the hotel and the staff we met. We checked out a few more hotels but ended up back in the Newpark. From the moment we booked right up to the time we got married, we knew everything would be looked after. From Mary, Michaela, the wedding events team and the ground staff, we really couldn't have asked for better. Nothing was ever a problem, and the girls were always at the other end of an email to answer any queries. Our wedding day was stress-free, and we had an absolute ball. The food was amazing, and the décor in the ballroom was fab. Anyone booking your wedding at the Newpark, you certainly won't have anything to worry about as the staff do an amazing job.
Thanks again,

We got married a few weeks ago in the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and honestly we were blown away by everything. Since our wedding so many people have commented on the food, the staff and the venue itself. Everything was absolutely perfect and the effort the team put in to make sure things were done as we wanted them was incredible. I couldn’t say enough good things about everyone. Mary O’Neill was our wedding co-ordinator and nothing was too much of a task, she was simply incredible. On the day Peter was the manager working with us and he went absolutely above and beyond for us, so attentive and such a lovely presence on our day! The bar staff were 10/10 and kept a solid eye and kept topping up our sweet cart as it emptied (so many guests had such positive things to say about the bar staff) The food was just exceptional and the service was brilliant. I couldn’t recommend the team at the Newpark more. We had the best experience from start to finish with them and so many of our guest have given feedback that the wedding was the best they’d been to - the attention to detail from the hotel really is next level. Five star service for sure - thanks so much to everyone at the Newpark for the best day we could have dreamed of! I would choose the Newpark again in a heartbeat

We had our wedding at the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Michaela was fantastic in the weeks leading up to the wedding- calm and organised. She made the planning feel easy and stress-free.
The meal was exceptional. Many of our guests are still talking about how good it was, and several coeliac guests commented on how well they were catered for. The gluten-free options were excellent, and the overall dinner service was relaxed but still very prompt for such a large wedding.
While every bride and groom hear positive things about their own day, our family, friends, and even extended neighbours made a real point of saying how much they enjoyed the Newpark. The bar staff were brilliant—attentive, friendly, and perfect for a crowd that loves the bar. The bar was also really well staffed, something not every hotel prioritises at night, and it made a huge difference to the flow of the evening. A special mention for the good pint of Guinness, which did not go unnoticed!
We added a gin cart to our drinks reception and were blown away by what was provided—a full selection of gins (including non-alcoholic options), mixers, garnishes and toppings. It completely exceeded our expectations and was a huge hit with guests.
The team also took complete charge of all of our extras, such as signs, bathroom baskets, guestbooks and more. Everything was laid out perfectly and exactly as we would have hoped, without us having to think about a single thing. It made the day completely stress-free.
Across the entire weekend, the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. It’s clear they host many weddings, and they truly have it perfected. A special thank you to Siobhan on the day, who went above and beyond by drying the bride’s wedding dress after it got wet during photographs. That level of care meant so much to us.
We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding weekend unforgettable.

Dear Kate & Micheál,
Thank you both so much for taking the time to share such an incredible review and for the beautiful photos you shared with us. It was an absolute pleasure to host your wedding on the 24th of October, and reading your words has truly made our week.
Michaela is over the moon with your kind comments. From the very beginning, she loved working with you both, and it means so much to hear that her calm guidance helped make the lead-up to your day feel relaxed and enjoyable. We’re thrilled to hear how much you and your guests enjoyed the meal. Our chefs and kitchen team take such pride in every plate that leaves the pass, especially when it comes to dietary requirements, so your feedback about the coeliac options will be warmly shared with them. And of course, our bar team will be delighted to hear their efforts (and their Guinness!) got such high praise from a crowd that appreciates a good pint.
Your gin cart was a gorgeous addition to the reception, and we’re so glad it exceeded your expectations and brought an extra splash of fun for your guests. Our team genuinely loves looking after all the little details — from signage to baskets to guestbooks, so knowing it all came together exactly as you hoped means everything to us.
Kate & Micheál, from start to finish, your wedding weekend was a joy to be part of. Thank you for trusting us with such an important celebration. On behalf of Mary, Michaela, and the entire Wedding Team here at Newpark Hotel, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and wonderful memories together.

We had our wedding in the Newpark Hotel on Sunday, Oct 5th 2025. We booked a year before and had no idea what to do or where to start! The team were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they advised, supported, and went above and beyond in customer service. Our main concern for our day was we wanted our guests to enjoy the day and the food, every person with us on the day was so impressed with the location, staff, service, food and atmosphere. Thank you, Newpark Hotel, for one of the best days ever!

Just back from our wedding in the Newpark and I cannot thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. Nothing we asked was too much and from the second we booked the day two years ago they’ve been absolutely brilliant and so easy to work with. Food A1, service amazing. Can’t say enough. Thanks to everyone involved !

We just got married here a couple of days ago. Personally I was against traditional weddings as I thought they were a rip off. But Newpark have changed my mind, they were worth every penny and more. I think they were exceptionally good value for money for the wedding/service they provided. Especially the wedding staff. Siobhan, Aoife and Shane were all brilliant especially but everyone really.
The dinosaur park and playground were brilliant for the kids and we really wanted a child friendly wedding.
We'll be back every year as an anniversary but having our wedding here was amazing and we're so happy with our decision. Thank you Newpark.

When we chose the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny we just knew that it was the venue for us. Even though the wedding coordinator we booked with had left we were treated like royalty , every small detail was seen to on our wedding day there was absolutely nothing that the wedding team missed. Mary and Michaela were absolutely fantastic any detail from when we booked to when we walked out that door two days after our wedding was no big deal. Siobhan was with us from the moment we stepped out of the wedding car to the moment we left the hotel she was absolutely amazing again nothing was a big ask. The service , the staff everything was amazing. All our guests had no complaints and everybody said the food was amazing some said it was the best they’ve ever had from a wedding. Some people say it was the best wedding they were ever at and it will be hard for anybody to top this and this was simply down to the professionalism and attention to detail from the Team at The Newpark Hotel Kilkenny. Would highly recommend to any wedding couple getting married to chose the Newpark Hotel you won’t regret it.

We got married on July 26th 2025 and The Newpark Hotel was simply the best in making our day so special. I was regularly in contact with Mary and Michaela who supported me on decisions and give me advice when I needed it most. The day of the wedding was perfect, The management team on the day made everything so relaxed and it flowed seamlessly. We were even greeted by the owner of the hotel before we entered the ballroom, he made us feel so welcome and ensured us that he would be readily available if we needed anything. The personal touches and attention to detail cannot be matched. I will always be grateful for how special and memorable our day was surrounded by those we love and taken care of by such a hard working dedicated team in the Newpark - Thank you!!

The Newpark Hotel outdid themselves for our wedding day. From our first viewing in March 2024, we were hooked, even after viewing a few other venues. The welcome and homely feeling of the hotel and its staff meant the other venues didn't get a look in. And we are so glad we went with our gut and chose the Newpark.
From Sinead in the early stages to Mary and Michaela and all the team, we were so well looked after all the way through. All our requests were accommodated and their advice along the way was so helpful.
We stayed the night before and had a lovely meal with our families, then the next morning they provided a lovely room for hair and makeup to be done and brought breakfast to us. Marita met us on the way out the door to the church with glasses of water. Such a small gesture but it really is the little details that make the difference. We really didn't have to think about anything all day.
And from when everyone arrived at the hotel later on the staff were there to see that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious(and there was plenty of it!), the service was speedy and professional, the atmosphere was so relaxed and everything just flowed. A special thanks to Peter and Aoife who were always around to keep everything moving along. Our guests are still talking about the amazing food, the gorgeous banquet room and how good the service was.
Thank you to all at the Newpark for helping to make our day so special!

I couldn't praise Newpark hotel enough! Hands down the best wedding venue in kilkenny . The food was absolutely exceptional on the day, we knew this would be the case as our tasting was fabulous but to see it all come together on the day and hear all our guests say how much they loved their food made our day! We got married on the hottest day of the year and had our drinks reception outside. When we arrived it looked amazing and I was so impressed to see there was sunscreen stations dotted around the garden for our guests to use, I hadn't thought of this and it was such a necessity on the day! Inside was perfectly cool with the air con, we honestly felt like we were on holidays ! The staff couldn't do more for us , anything we needed they were absolutely on the ball! The whole experience from first booking the wedding, having meetings and the day of the staff had us so at ease and really made us feel like they would take care of everything and they really did . I didn't feel like I had to worry about a thing! I've since spoke to many of my guests who shared the same sentiment as my husband and I, Newpark just know how to do weddings!! Thank you to all the team at Newpark for a day that we will never forget!! We would give you 10 stars if we could ✨️ from Zoë and David Brannigan

After having met with the wedding team at the Newpark Hotel, we knew it was the perfect hotel for us. All of the team, especially Mary and Laura, went above and beyond for us from start to finish. I wish we could remember the names of the rest of the amazing team because each and every one of them are due a mention. What a welcoming hotel with the friendliest staff. We both agreed it was a hotel that made us feel so at home. Both my partner and I have been to numerous weddings and the food couldn’t be compared to the food we had at the Newpark Hotel - the chateaubriand was the best we have ever had and Mary was fantastic in accommodating us so well to ensure we had the perfect package for our day. What was memorable when organising our wedding is that the staff never pushed for the more pricy options and left all the extras down to us, simply making sure we were well informed never feeling any pressure unlike other hotels that we viewed.
All of our guests complimented the amazing food and service that they received. Everyone felt so relaxed and at ease throughout the day, including ourselves. We never once had a worry.
The bridal suite on the night was amazing and another amazing touch from the hotel was a bottle of champagne with personalised champagne flutes with our names and wedding date on them.
We also booked our day two with the hotel, in the terrace area. It was stunning. They offered a package with a one man band, bbq and prosecco on arrival. We also couldn’t recommend this enough. More amazing food and again, the staff could not be faulted.
If you are considering booking this hotel -DO IT! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. You can be assured that your wedding day is in safe and beyond capable hands. Thank you again to all at the Newpark Hotel for exceeding our expectations.

I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel enough for your wedding day! From the very beginning, they were just fantastic. We had to postpone our original date due to a bereavement and they were so accommodating and made us feel so much better about our decision to move our big day.
In the lead-up to the wedding, there were no silly questions, no unanswered emails or phone calls, and not once did we feel like we couldn't contact the team with any queries. We had not one but two 'final' wedding meetings to ensure that the hotel understood our vision fully. There wasn't one detail out of place on our wedding day, the team are incredibly organised and left no stone unturned to make sure that everything we wanted came to light! We got ready in the hotel that morning and from 7 am until the early hours of the following morning, when we finally got to bed, we and our guests were so well looked after.
The food was absolutely incredible, so many people commented on it and said that they ate the entire meal, which they 'usually wouldn't' at a wedding!
We have a young baby and so had all of our photos taken at the hotel, which we were nervous about. However the grounds of the hotel and the hotel itself are so beautiful that we need not have worried, the pictures are so stunning with the Newpark as the backdrop!
Myself, my husband and and our families were treated like royalty for the whole wedding day and in the lead-up to it. Thanks so much to the Newpark for helping to make our dream come true, we had the best wedding day we ever could've wished for!
If you are stuck between hotels, definitely book the Newpark, you won't regret it!

We chose Newpark Hotel from the minute we went in to book our wedding. From start to finish, the staff were unbelievably helpful and made us feel so relaxed. They were easy to deal with. Our plans went so smoothly that even coming up to the last few weeks, I was asking myself, Are we forgetting something here? But as I contacted Newpark, I realised everything was in order. Thanks to all their help, they made it very easy for us to sit back and enjoy the big build-up. The day of our wedding was just beautiful. We got married in their beautiful room, and again staff were just amazing and so helpful. Our wedding ceremony was fantastic. A beautiful lobby area to the front was set up with lots of finger food, tea, coffee and of course, prosecco. The sun was shining, and our guests enjoyed the amazing gardens, and we got beautiful pictures in the garden. Our dinner was lovely. As one guest said to me after the wedding, there wasn't a bit of food left on anyone's plates, so that was a good sign, as our food was delicious. We had no complaints on our wedding day held in Newpark - only that it went by way too fast. We definitely would do it all over again in Newpark with their wonderful team. Thanks very much, Jennifer and David Kenny x

We recently had our wedding at Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. From the moment we began planning, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They made us feel like our special day mattered just as much to them as it did to us.
The venue itself is stunning — from the elegant ballroom to the beautifully maintained outdoor spaces. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and the impeccable service throughout the night.
Special thanks to Mary, Michaela & Laura who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every detail, from the ceremony setup to the reception flow, was perfect.
Thanks again for an amazing day.
I would highly recommend Newpark for your special day.

We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark and had our "day two" here also. Let me tell you about our experience.
From the wedding showcase nearly two years before the wedding to the BBQ on day two we had the most amazing experience of our lives.
The Newpark made everything so easy and were so helpful in the planning and getting us through both days.
The staff were fantastic, they made the day feel effortless and took all the stress away.
Mary made us feel at ease when planning it all there was no request to complicated and nothing she couldn't answer.
Aga went above and beyond all day to look after our every need. They couldn't do enough for us. We were truly stunned by the level of service was amazing.
Even the bar staff need a shout out as they put up with all night, They were good craic and its a credit to them.
The food was absolutely delicious, with all the guests complimenting it. The chefs catered for all guests and their dietary needs.
The ballroom in particular was stunning and made the day feel more special. The private garden off the ballroom was great to be able to get out for some air after to much dancing but not be away from the guests.
The second day of our wedding was just as incredible as the first from getting breakfast in bed to chilling in the pool all day till it was time for BBQ.
The staff once again made everything so easy and care free for us we got to enjoy it as much as the guests. The area for the BBQ was incredible we were able to get the roof opened to enjoy the good weather and the atmosphere was great. A great place to unwind after the day before and to catch up with friends and family.
The BBQ was a standout, the variety and quality was incredible. (Maybe even better that the wedding meal) I'm sure the hotel won't mind me saying that.
The guests also loved the BBQ and they all told us how much they enjoyed it.
The two days went so fast but the memories will last.
Thank you Newpark for making our wedding so special.
We couldn't be happier how it all turned out. Its a true credit to the Newpark and all the effort they put in to making our day.
We wholeheartedly recommend the hotel for your wedding and "day two". It was truly top class experience.

We could write an essay on how perfect the Newpark Hotel was for our wedding. Everything from the planning stages to the end was made stress-free. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, from Mary and Aga to the lads at the bar late at night, all were amazing. The Newpark does the big things well as you would expect but it was all the little touches that they do, that you don't expect or even think about, that really shows how much they care to make it a perfect day. The wedding room look great. The food was fantastic, definitely the best food we've ever had at a wedding . The Terrace for day 2 and the BBQ were also fantastic, as was the one man band. We can't praise the hotel and staff enough. They really did help to make our special day even more special. Anyone thinking of getting married should be looking at Newpark as there no.1 option

We had our wedding reception in Newpark on 14th March this year and it was the best day of our lives! When we got engaged, we always knew we wanted to get married in Newpark. We had both attended weddings there on many occasions and it is by far the best venue in our opinion. From the day we booked our wedding at Newpark Mary, the wedding coordinator, was so lovely and helpful and every time we met with her she reassured us and made us so excited for the big day. The day itself could not have went better and the guest were amazed with the venue and how lovely the staff were on the evening. The main thing that the guests were talking about was how amazing the food. Several people also complimented how nice the room looked and the centre pieces on tables that Newpark also provide. Aga was looking after us on the day and she made sure that we were happy with how the day was going and was always around if we needed her. Honestly I could not recommend Newpark enough and I would advise any Bride or Groom to consider checking it out!

We recently had our wedding, Newpark Hotel which is frequently recommended for weddings in Kilkenny. The combination of stunning grounds, excellent service, great food, and a professional team makes it a standout option for those looking to celebrate their wedding in the area Mary O' Neill is the wedding coordinator who looked after our wedding and nothing was to big or small for Mary she was a pleasure to work with and always looked after us on the day before Mary we had Sinead who has recently left she was also fantastic. The whole day from start to finish was stress free and everything we imagined. The bridal suite in Newpark is beautiful with a Hot tub on the balcony as an added treat.
Newpark Hotel is consistently reviewed as a fantastic choice for a wedding day, offering a perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent food, attentive service, and efficient event management. It’s ideal for couples who want a memorable, smooth, and enjoyable wedding experience in Kilkenny. I would highly recommend the Newpark hotel to any couple thinking of getting married.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! The hotel looked absolutely stunning, especially with the beautiful Christmas decorations that created such a magical and festive atmosphere.
It’s a wonderful family hotel with fantastic facilities, making it ideal for all our guests. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day.
The wedding packages were amazing and offered great value for money — the pricing was very competitive compared to other venues we looked at. The food was absolutely phenomenal — every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests.
We were even lucky enough to meet the owner of the hotel on our wedding day, and he was so kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel even more personal and special.
Every detail was handled with such care, even down to the management of wedding gifts, which was completely seamless and stress-free.
We’re so grateful to the whole team for making our special day so memorable. We couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough for anyone planning their wedding!

Myself and my partner got married in November. We werent even sure if the wedding was going to go ahead as our three month old baby needed emergency surgery. Mary was amazing to deal with and totally understanding. He got out of hospital the day before the wedding and Mary and Aga couldnt do enough for us. Nothing was too big or too small and we asked for an extra room for the baby to stay with a nurse and it was absolutely no problem. The staff were so polite and the food was perfect. Everyone still talks about how amazing EVERYTHING was!

Sinead went through everything with us, all the little details and was very quick to reply to any questions that we had. We can't begin to describe how magical our wedding day was for us. After all the planning and preparation, the day came and went and was better than we could have ever imagined, thanks in no small part to Sinéad and the incredible team at the Newpark Hotel. We booked our date 2 years out and had regular communication and updates from Sinéad, the wedding coordinator, throughout the build-up. No ask was too big or small; we were truly made feel special and valued throughout the experience. The wedding-tasting meal was such a highlight of the build-up for us. The food was incredible, and we were spoiled for choice. We met with Sinéad several times as the wedding day got closer. We knew that going into the wedding day, the Newpark had everything covered, and we could trust them completely to give our guests a memorable day. On the day itself, the staff at the Newpark went above and beyond for us. The food was incredible, and people were still genuinely talking about the meal and the beautiful ambience in the Newpark. The garden of the ballroom was wonderful for photographs after the meal. A special mention goes to Aga, who cared for us throughout the day. She was a complete pro and ensured the day went smoothly- it was so stress-free for us as a couple. I can't thank Sinéad, Aga and the team at the Newpark enough for giving us one of the best days of our lives- I wish we could do it all over again!

We celebrated last year our wedding at the Newpark Hotel, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the very first visit to the moment we checked out as newlyweds, everything exceeded our expectations.
The wedding team were absolutely incredible — so friendly, organised, and genuinely invested in making our day special. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every question was answered quickly, every detail was handled with care, and they made the entire planning process feel completely stress-free.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The staff went above and beyond — always smiling, attentive, and professional. The ballroom looked stunning, the gardens were picture-perfect for photos, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was.
The food deserves its own mention — absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served hot and promptly to every guest. We received so many compliments about the meal and the overall service throughout the evening.
We also stayed overnight in the bridal suite, which was just gorgeous — a perfect way to end the most magical day.
We honestly can’t thank the Newpark Hotel team enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams. Everything was flawless, and we’ll cherish those memories forever. If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, amazing staff, and exceptional food, we couldn’t recommend the Newpark Hotel more highly.

We got married in the Newpark hotel in May. The day was excellent from start to finish. The weddings manager Sinead is an absolute dream to work with, and any future brides dream weddings manager as she is always free to answer any questions and willing to assist with any changes or queries we had. She is highly organised and an excellent representative employee for the hotel. Our guests are still coming to us with how good the food and over all service was on the day. A shoutout also to Aga who was excellent on the day keeping us informed of the flow of the day and ensuring the service was top notch. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone considering the Newpark for their wedding to go ahead and book it. Thanks again, Lydia & Stephen Haberlin

We Couldn't have asked for a better venue & team to work with for our wedding day, everything ran so smoothly on the day from the second we woke up.
We stayed in the hotel the night after our wedding and the staff still treated us as if we were the only guests in the hotel, they went above & beyond to make us feel so so special and our guests still rage about the wedding dinner to this day.

We can not put into words how fantastic everyone in Newpark were for our wedding. The service is top quality, food fantastic and we also had a lot of family stay in the hotel for a number of nights who loved it, we also had a large number of children between the ages of 2 to 16 and there was lots of entertainment for them also and of course the kids club.
Particular mention for Sinead who was really great to work with and Aga who made the day run smoothly and stress free for us.
Cant recommend highly enough.

We had our wedding here in May 2024 and I couldn't recommend Newpark enough. From the minute we went to view the venue we were so well looked after. We were told that the ballroom/reception area would undergo a renovation just before our wedding which made us slightly nervous but it looked absolutely amazing and we were kept informed with updates throughout the renovation.
The food was incredible, the staff were amazing, there was absolutely no lag in service and everyone was so well looked after. I even realised when I was sitting at the meal that I had left something in a bag in the bridal suite and a member of staff went and got it for me.
A special shout out to the wedding coordinators who go above and beyond for you on your wedding day but make it seem like it's no trouble at all!

Dear Ruth,
Thank you so much for your truly wonderful review, and for sharing your beautiful photos with us! It was such an honour to host your wedding here at Newpark Hotel, and we’re absolutely delighted to hear how special your day was.
From your very first visit, it was clear how much thought and care you were putting into every detail of your celebration, so it means the world to us that you felt so well looked after throughout the entire journey. We know renovations can feel a little nerve-wracking, so we’re thrilled that the newly updated ballroom and reception area exceeded your expectations and helped make the day even more memorable.
Your kind words about the food, service, and our amazing team, especially our wedding coordinators truly warm our hearts. Ensuring that you and your guests are cared for seamlessly is something we pride ourselves on, and stories like the team fetching your bag from the bridal suite remind us why we love what we do.
Ruth, thank you again for choosing Newpark Hotel for your wedding day. It was such a joy to celebrate with you both, and we wish you a lifetime filled with happiness, love, and many more wonderful memories together.

From the moment we met with Sineád, we knew that the Newpark hotel was the place for our wedding and it did not disappoint!
Sineád and her team are very friendly and approachable, there was nothing too big or small of a task for them. They answered any questions we had and gave us numerous recommendations for different vendors when needed. They took so much stress out of planning our wedding, it felt a breeze to organise as I felt they had such a big chunk of the day highly planned for me.
On the day of our wedding Newpark was elegantly set up and both the food and the staff were outstanding, so much so that people were complementing both for weeks to come after the wedding.
If you are looking for a place for your wedding in Kilkenny, I highly recommend Newpark hotel. It is a decision that you won't regret. They will make your day the most wonderful and memorable that it can be, you will not be disappointed.

We had the most magical wedding day on 25th August 2023 and thankfully everything went off without a hitch thanks to Sinead, the wedding coordinator and the Newpark team.
Dimitri was amazing on the day, he couldn't have been more helpful and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. All of our guests were very complimentary regarding their meal and the service. Everyone was amazed with the portion sizes - no one was left hungry, that's for sure and the ballroom revamp was absolutely beautiful!
We were so pleased we stuck with Newpark for day 2, the later start gave everyone a chance to regroup, the bbq spread was delicious and the one man band you found was absolutely brilliant. Our guests are still raving about the weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with how it all went. We were thinking afterwards and couldn't fault Newpark or the service at all and if we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing!

My husband and I got married in the Newpark Hotel on the 11th August 2023. Having worked in the Newpark Hotel for a couple of years I knew what to expect when getting married here, however, the service provided from beginning to end was exceptional. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the process so straightforward. Sin?ad, the wedding team, and the hotel management were so understanding when we got news that a family member was unwell, they were so kind and understanding when we had to think about certain modifications to be made because of this. Aga had a firm handle on everything that went on during the day, it ran so smoothly and she was able to handle any queries that cropped up throughout the afternoon. The honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi, along with a fantastic breakfast in bed the next day topped it all off. We received so many compliments on the food and service. The Newpark Hotel really is the best in the business.

We had our wedding here last Saturday. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for a wedding, night away, couples, spa day, family break. it is THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. from the very first day we visited the newpark as a potential wedding venue we were blown away. the staff have been outstanding each and every time we have set foot inside the hotel. Sinead, who was our main contact in relation to the wedding was always very quick to answer any questions we had and we always felt well taken care of. Aga was the main woman on the day of our wedding and without her it would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Dimitri was also amazing, i couldnt believe it when he approached me at 3am still offering to do anything he could for us, i was amazed. Cian was our main server at the top table he went above and beyond for us, especially when i realised that i forgot my speech, he printed it off for me. Stephen was our main link at our day 2, he was under pressure as double our original numbers turned up but he pulled it off and kept calm at all times. each and everyone of the servers on the day of the wedding and day two deserve a special mention as they were all outstanding, our guests kept commenting about how professional they staff were and how well trained they were. thank you Aoife, Ada, Bobby, Chloe, Roisin, Grace, Lucy, Renata, Romy, Enya, Emma W, Meghan, Miriam, Yvonne, Jai, Jack and Sara.

We had our wedding there in August 2023. Working with Sin?ad in the lead up was stress free and super enjoyable. She is great to deal with and nothing was too much for her to deal with. ?That's no problem.? Was her most used phrase.
The meal, the setup, the ballroom, the drinks reception, dealing with our outside vendors ?. All amazing. Guests raved about the food and the drinks reception was generous. Guests were happy and well fed.
Aga was an absolute star during the meal and throughout the day. She made us feel so relaxed and was super organised which we loved.
The hotel honestly couldn't do enough for us and we are so happy we choose them for our reception.
We also decided to have our day 2 there with the bbq. Relaxed and picture perfect. We had a great day.
100% would recommend the Newpark for anyone getting married.

To all the staff at the New Park hotel,
We want to thank ye from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing weekend ye provided for our wedding. We had day 2 at the New Park along with our wedding day and to say it exceeding all our expectations and more is an understatement.
The day ran so smoothly and seamlessly and there wasn't one thing we needed to think of/remind the staff of as it was all covered from start to finish.
All the staff went above and beyond and were so accommodating throughout the entire weekend.
All of our guests have not stopped commenting on the amazing food, staff and everything in between.
A particular thank you to Sinead, Agga and Dimitar who were fantastic to deal with.
We couldn't recommend the New Park enough. 10/10 in every department.
Thanks again for making our weekend so special.

Many of our friends and family have said it's the best service they have ever experienced at a wedding. The food fantastic and the staff were excellent. AMAZING! We can never thank every single person at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny enough for all they did before and most of all during our day. Their attention to detail in the planning made the day run so smoothly and effortlessly and every single staff member made everybody feel so special! Everybody raved about the food and service and most people genuinely said it was the best wedding they were ever at and that was mostly down to the amazing Venue and Staff at the Newpark .

Myself and my Husband got married at the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny on 04 June 2023. From the first day we went to view the hotel we were just blown away with how beautifully the ballroom and gardens were. We were also so impressed with the wedding coordinator Sinead. She was so helpful, gave so much information and laid out all of the possible options we could have on the day. The Newpark was the only hotel we viewed for our wedding day because we were just so impressed from the outset. Throughout the planning of the wedding Sinead was brilliant at getting back to all questions and requests. No matter our changes and requests the Newpark was so flexible. On the day Sinead and Agha were amazing. I was relaxed and happy the entire day as they just put me at ease that everything was being looked after. I had organised a secret birthday cake to be brought out after dinner with party hats too and it went brilliantly. We had the most amazing day and all of our guests were also so impressed and everyone raved about the food. I would absolutely recommend the Newpark Hotel for your wedding day.

we got married in Newpark in April 2023, and everyone who was a guest still says how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The organising was made so easy by the coordinators and they were so helpful any time I had to reach out with any questions. The wedding room is so beautiful and we didn’t need to spend money adding table toppers etc as the hotel has it set up perfectly already. We spent 3 nights for our wedding and we were looked after from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Really great to have the park out the back too for any kids who were at the wedding. Highly recommend Newpark hotel.

Simply there was nothing we could fault about our wedding here. Firstly the staff were all amazing. They truly made our experience perfect. There really was nothing to small or big that they weren't willing to help us with. Everything was easy and that helped to keep everything calm. We stayed the night before, day of,and had our day two there. My husband and I stayed a 4th night also. The Reception room was so elegant and atmospheric with all the candles in the provided centerpieces. The food was all delicious. From the bridal party's little morning buffet getting ready to the cocktail hours nibbles, the dinner that people still tell me was amazing. Late night snacks and then canapes for day 2 you would really not be disappointed with the food. So many incredible options to choose from. All the options on the different menus that was the hard part. The grounds of the hotel have so many perfect little areas to take your wedding pictures. Plenty to choose from. My husband and iI always say we would do that whole weekend over again we truly had the best wedding. That is all down to the Newpark staff and all the hotel has to offer.

We both want to say a massive thank you to Sinead and all the staff at Newpark. We couldn't have asked for better in all aspects of the wedding from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and all the farmers were singing the hotels praises!!! Big thank you to the chiefs who went out of their way to cater for all dietary requirements, including a delicious gluten free dessert for the bride. Ye are amazing at what you do!
A special thank you to you Sinead, you put us at ease throughout the whole process and kept everything straight forward and without stress.
On the day, Wictor and Aga made sure everything ran smoothly for us and our guests. Aga was always on hand to check in and insure everything was up to standard.

They were a pleasure to deal with during the wedding planning, especially Sinead who was very helpful and professional in all her dealings with us. Before our wedding I had stayed in the new park on many occasions and could never fault staying there, which was the reason I decided to have my wedding venue here. The staff go out of there way to help everyone and when planning our wedding, there was no stress or hassle with the new park they took care of everything. The set up in the room was gorgeous, there was also a drink I drank that they didn't serve and they even went out of there way to order it in just for me on the day, I couldn't fault the wedding team or staff in anyway, it was a great day at the new park hotel.

We had our wedding at the Newpark Hotel in 2022 and genuinely could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Our original date had to be postponed by a year due to Covid, and the team at the Newpark made the entire process completely stress-free. There were no issues, no complications—just absolute understanding, support, and professionalism from start to finish.
On the day itself, the staff were seamless. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail was laid out exactly as we had hoped and imagined, and the whole day flowed perfectly because of how well the team worked behind the scenes. We had a few guests who, unfortunately, couldn’t attend the reception. At our last minute request, the staff arranged for their dinners—complete with wine—to be delivered to the hotel bedrooms of our extended family and friends who were babysitting our nieces and nephews. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us and to our family.
All of our guests commented on how exceptional both the service and the food were. The Newpark truly thought of everything, often before we even realised we needed it. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable.
We’ve been recommending the Newpark Hotel ever since, and we’re absolutely delighted that a close friend of ours has already booked their wedding there for next year. We know they’ll be in the very best hands.
We couldn’t be more grateful to the entire Newpark team—thank you for giving us the most wonderful day of our lives.

Newpark was our favourite family hotel and we celebrated many important occasions here so it made sense to have our wedding here. The wedding was a very small intimate wedding. Sinead was always available to discuss the details and gave me recommendations for local suppliers. The wait and bar staff were very attentive. Newpark made having a wedding in pandemic conditions easy going. We had a meeting with Sinead the next day to discuss how everything went, which everything went fantastic. We stayed 3 days in total and had a great time every day.
The only reason I am marking a 4/5 is for an item that went missing when collecting our wedding bits to leave the hotel. During our ceremony we had a lot of sentimental things such as a sand ceremony and letters to each other. Our letters we wrote to each other were put into a sealed box with bottle of Jack Daniels, which we planned to open on our 1st anniversary. When collecting the wedding bits the letters were missing which was disappointing. The staff at the time said that someone would contact us about this but they never did. I followed up with an email but no contact about it. I completely understand the two letters may have been mislaid, there's no monterary value and possibly nothing that can be done, however, we would have appreciated some follow up about it. So it is the lack of follow up after the wedding that was disappointing.

The Newpark were fantastic. Our wedding was postponed 3 times due to Cobid restrictions and they couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating with new dates and revised numbers. The lead up to the big day and the day itself ran so well and we were delighted. Our guest all commented how great the service and venue were. Couldn’t recommend them enough

We had a small wedding ceremony of under 30 people, they exceeded our expectations.
They gave us great value on everything especially when you compare them to other places that offer the same. They were always quick to respond to any queries we had, they were always there to meet and help us with any unusuall request we had, We would like to say special thanks to the whole team especially Nicky he is a real gem if it wasn't for him who knows how this ceremony would of turned out, sometimes it seemed as if he was reading our minds, his hospitality and management skills are top-noch

5 star + service from start to finish! We cannot say enough about the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny and the staff which made our wedding day run like a oiled machine not to mention the beautiful venue and decorations. The feedback we have received back from our guests is all so positive and one guest even commented that her brother owns a 5 star hotel but that the Newpark food and service was far superior! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH. Everything from the staff, food, venue and value for money was fantastic. A special mention and thanks to Sinead our Wedding Co-ordinator and to Nicky who ran the ballroom the night of our wedding - if you want people in the know with experience and who are so professional and put you at ease then these are the people to deal with. Nothing was a problem or too much effort, before, during or after the wedding. We are so delighted we picked this venue. Plenty of food, parking, rooms and ballroom space for guests. We had approx. 240 people attend on the day and there was plenty of room and everyone from young to old were catered for. Even the children had a 2 hour fully supervised area with games and entertainment while their parents could enjoy dinner and socialise. If you are considering the Newpark I pomise you will not be disappointed - we have high standards and these were most definitely exceeded. Thank you to all the staff at the Newpark for making our day and our guests day so special and memorable!

Newpark Hotel was the only wedding venue we looked at, as we knew how well they catered for all guests and how much we enjoyed weddings there in the past. We didn't want to go anywhere else!
Sin?ad, our wedding co-ordinator, was great to deal with; professional, personable, quick to respond to emails, and no task or query was ever too much. She made the planning and decision-making very easy and gave great advice. We knew we were in safe hands.
On the day, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, the staff were very friendly, attentive and accomodating, and the delicious food was a highlight of many people's day.
Thanks to Nicky on the day too, who looked after the bridal party so well and even managed to settle some nerves at the top table!
I can't speak highly enough of this venue and the staff. Thanks to all.

Wedding in Newpark was organized by event manager Sin?ad Fortune she was very efficient and was always accommodating, nothing was ever a problem or an issue that she was unable to solve.,
We had the utmost confidence in our choice and the service was outstanding, the staff all seem to be happy and like a family wanting the same thing for you the newly weds to have the best day ever,
The food was the talk of our quests, the quality the quantity, the top table was served with with music and performance by waiters & waitresses, I thought I was on a cruise, the standard was exceptional.
The room was perfection I cried when I saw it before dinner, Nicki the manager on that weekend had every reason to be proud, he does a good job and runs a great team catering to 200 quests.
That's only the reception the rooms top class everyone loved their bedrooms and how comfy the beds were, the breakfast staff so friendly and dealt with a large crowd day after the wedding.
We stayed on until Tuesday not wanting it to end.

The service was the absolute best and the food was to the absolute highest standard. All our guests were completely blown away. The Newpark takes away all that talk about bridal stress, they have everything and more to make your day a dream. The day they created for us was an absolute dream come true. We had an amazing Wedding Day at The Newpark. Sinead, Niall and their team were fantastic to deal with and just gently took control on the day for us making sure all was ok but not over the top either. All our guests commented on the fantastic food and service. We had our second day celebrations there also and the open farm was a big hit with the smaller guests. Cannot recommend the team and experience at Newpark enough.

I would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel. Their level of service from the events team, to the receptionists, to the bar staff and waiting staff was outstanding. What I loved was that this service wasn't just to us as the bridal couple but that all our guests commented on the service too. The food was gorgeous and they were able to provide plenty of options for coeliacs that tasted delicious too. It rained on our day but the hotel look so beautiful that it didn't take away from the day at all. If I had to choose all over again I would pick them time and time again.

The Newpark Hotel for a wedding-in 4 words- out of this world!!! I could not praise them enough in every aspect of our wedding day. On the run up to our wedding day, the ladies at the office contacted us weekly and guided us on the next steps. They ensured we had everything organised ahead of time and were such a pleasure to deal with.
We had a lot of different elements happening at our wedding, such as the band playing before the meal and the Newpark were more than happy to accommodate our wishes.
The servers always had a smile on their faces and very polite. The manager at our wedding could not do enough for us. He was always by our side without being 'intrusive' and made sure everything ran smoothly.
The quality of food was excellent- tasty, pleasing to the high and the chef accommodated to all dietary requirements.
All in all, the Newpark Hotel is an outstanding hotel. They went above and beyond our expectations and most importantly they left us wanting nothing.
We are so pleased we went with the Newpark Hotel and have no doubts they will continue to deliver the dream day to wedding couples in the future.

The new park was fantastic. Food was gorgeous atmosphere was amazing and the ball room and bar are both comfortable which is what guests want at a wedding. Mark is an amazing manager, the new park do not realise how brilliant this man is. No matter who we spoke too my husband would only listen to me if I said mark said something. From day one he totally made me feel at ease and if there ever was any issue there was never a hesitation to meet us and clarify. I got mark any time I needed him on phone. I had extra requests as in table plans and different favours at different tables and this was never any problem anything I asked was done and done perfectly. Nothing is a problem to this hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous at all times. We called into hotel only last week nearly a year after we got married and mark was over to us chatting about our honey moon. Seriously nice man I can't praise him enough. Also ger alley is brilliant too making us feel important at all times and made me feel like our wedding was most important to him too and not just to us. He looked after us too both before and after the wedding and als polite and just very friendly. Niall the night manager was very nice too and good crack. I really can't say a bad word about this hotel our wedding day was amazing and that's a huge thanks to the management and staff of the new park hotel.

We could not rate Newpark Hotel highly enough having held our wedding there last month. From the day we started dealing with Newpark, we were treated in the most professional and friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions and tips given to us were fantastic. The day of the wedding has been described to us by many of our guests as "perfection", from the food (which was out of this world) to the service to the hotel decor itself. We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel to any future brides considering this venue. Yvonne (wedding co-ordinator), Mark, Ger and Niall were all an absolute pleasure to deal with and took any stress out of the day. We had the most memorable, perfect and amazing day and can not thank the Newpark enough as it was all down to their hard work, attention to detail and top class service.

When we set out to plan our wedding I had very definite ideas about what I wanted, when I spoke to Yvonne I was sold, straight away she totally got what we wanted!we were celebrating our wedding in two parts, we were having 35 guests for dinner in Newark and a party the following weekend in a dublin venue! We wanted to host our guests in a beautiful venue, in intimate smaller space because of numbers. We didn't want to be over formal, we wanted a personal high quality service, and food that people would enjoy!!! We wanted the best with small numbers we really wanted it to be extra special...... So we booked the Parksuite in the Newark for a banquet table. Every detail I wanted, the Newark team delivered and even added considerations that I hadn't even thought of!!! Every staff member we met from porter to general manager was amazing!! The courtesy 's and hospitality of this team can not be understated!!!!! I can't tell you enough about how good they all were..... Little things like the wedding coordinator Yvonne introducing you to the duty manager niall that you would be meeting the wedding day!! Being greeted by name by the Gm every time you visit!! All my guests new their waitresses by name and everyone couldn't say enough good things about how lovely everyone was!!! Each of my guests have sinced returned to the Newark and have said they got the same service on the second visit!!! I have never stayed in a hotel that gives you such exemplary service!!! We were not spending giant amounts of money with this venue but the level of service and the attention to detail we might as well have been booking out the entire place!!!!Can't recommend them enough.....super venue, good. Service, team and accommodation!!!!!! As I mentioned at beginning of review, we were having wedding celebration in two parts....the only pitfall of booking the new park is dat their incredible service quality and value really showed up our second venue( which was very average) and highlighted what great hotels and teams the Newark has!!!!

Overall all we were delighted with the Newpark; food, service, atmosphere were all excellent and perfect on the day. When we initially booked we were dealing with a very friendly and competent lady who couldn't have been more helpful but then another lady (the weddings co-ordinator!) took over our booking who was anything but helpful and made things unnecessarily stressful. Her reputation preceded her so we knew to ignore her and that everything would be perfect on the day; which it was. All other staff were excellent.
