Rockhill House

The three words I would use to describe our wedding are: Relaxed, fun and magical. I still get emotional every time I think back to the day. It was just perfect, and I'd love to do it all over again.
The staff in Rockhill were fantastic all the way through. From the menu tasting to overnight stays before the wedding we were so well looked after. The venue is absolutely stunning both inside and outside. The grounds are perfect for having your wedding photos taken and avoid having to travel to a beauty spot somewhere which takes time away from spending time with your guests. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how excellent the food was and how beautifully decorated the rooms were. The bridal suite is just stunning. The room where the meal is served can be smaller than some venues, we had 137 guests at our wedding and it was probably close to the max you could comfortably have without the tables being too close together. Once the tables are removed after the meal there is plenty of space for dancing.

If you are looking for a unique venue that has a real wow factor, good food and great staff and you are not planning on having a very large number of guests, Rockhill House is definitely the venue for you. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We fell head over heels in love with Rockhill House the moment we stepped in the building and immediately knew 'this is where we are getting married'.
Kathryn and the whole team at Rockhill House were out of this world, providing an outstanding service to ourselves, our friends and our family during our stay. The food and service during the wedding and our next day BBQ were outstanding. As a parent of young children, I have to say that the venue was exceptional with how they welcomed our younger guests; my two little girls were completely besotted with Kathryn and thoroughly enjoyed their trips to see the new ducks and the rest. The whole team at Rockhill House attended to our every need and made us feel completely at home in this glorious house. The only sad part was when we had to leave.
As so many of our friends and families had travelled from abroad (ourselves included), we also hosted a post-wedding bbq the next day. Amazing BBQ food, our guests were blown away! Kathryn and the team were fantastic with organising this event and it was lovely to have a different sit-down setting making the event less formal than the wedding.
