A fantastic wedding venue with a five star team. We could not recommend Caitriona and her team highly enough. We had our small family wedding there recently and we were so thrilled that we chose the Brehon. Even though we had only approx 30 guests we were made to feel like we were the most important people there. From day one Caitriona was so helpful and accomodating. She listened attentively to any request and provides excellent advice. The staff were super and provided an excellent service. They were like a big family and all seemed to take pride in providing an excellent service. The hotel is fabulous. It has a real sense of grandeur and we feel it is undoubtedly one of the best in Ireland. The many rooms were beautiful and guests all commented how big and modern they were. Also it is great to have such excellent room capacity at the one venue. The views from the hotel were superb and location is top drawer. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any couples thinking of having a wedding in Ireland.

The Brehon went above and beyond all expectations for our wedding, there wasn't a request to big or to small that they weren't able to adjust for to make sure our day ran smoothly! Catriona was the most professional and reliable person I could have hoped to work with and I wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding day in the Brehon.

The Brehon is a wonderful venue to hold your wedding. We would highly recommend others to book here. Staff are great, and they have been extremely accommodating in the current climate of covid and allowing two postponements. Our guests have been raving about our wedding, the food and about the staff and venue. It’s a beautiful hotel.

The wedding team at The Brehon hotel were terrific. My husband and I live abroad, so communication is very important. The wedding team communicated well and supported us throughout the process. Our original wedding date was in 2020, and we found the wedding team very flexible and accommodating. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly, and our guests were impressed by the professionalism of the staff, venue and food. The Brehon wedding team will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We stayed in the Brehon for a total of three nights for our wedding , we arrived on the Thursday the night before our wedding and got ready in the hotel the morning off , had our ceremony in house and day 2 in the basement bar in the Brehon , I could go on forever the hotel were amazing from start to finish ,and special mention to Rachel she’s amazing in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding and was also on hand all weekend , future couples are in good hands with her and the hotel .

We had our wedding/civil ceremony in the Brehon Hotel in December 2021. From start to end the wedding team in the Brehon could not have done enough for us. Our day took place completely inside the hotel, with our guests going from the ceremony to the drinks reception, and back to the meal later in the day, all under one roof with none of the travelling or moving you would have with a traditional religious service. The hotel did an amazing job hosting the drinks reception in the hotel mezzanine, and also converting the ceremony room back into the reception room within a few hours. Every request we made of the hotel was welcomed by the wedding team. From adjustments of the reception meal, to entertainment for the drinks reception and meal, the wedding team in the Brehon made everything work for us. Our dedicated coordinator from the Brehon wedding team (Rachel) also made our day so manageable and enjoyable, she took care of everything and was always at hand if we needed her. On top of all of this, our meal was fantastic, bar service was excellent, and the overall quality of the hotel really added to our special day. I can't recommend the Brehon enough. Our day felt perfect, and the Brehon really made that happen for us, accommodating everything we asked for, and going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every detail. If we could go back and do it all over again, booking the Brehon would be the first thing we would do.

We had the BEST wedding day ever thanks to The Brehon! It sounds cliché but it honestly was. All of the team there made it enjoyable, from Jenny & Rachel, the coordinators who were with us every step of the way, the serving staff who served with smiles behind their masks, the reception team & the night time security team, everyone played their part. Jenny ensured all of questions were answered, we had countless Zoom calls to go over tiny details for our day and when we were able to fly over, we met in person and viewed the main ballroom numerous times to discuss our plans. Jenny ensured everything ran smoothly on the day and she was great with liaising with suppliers (they all knew The Brehon well) right before our wedding. We can not recommend this venue enough!

Absolutely every notion we had as a wedding couple was catered for. They truly made the whole day special in every way.

We couldn’t fault the Brehon for our wedding, even throughout planning during the madness of the pandemic. Everything was fantastic for the weekend and the day went so smoothly. The food and service was second to none, all our guests were raving about the food and accommodation. Rachel the wedding coordinator is so professional and nothing is a problem for the team! I would highly recommend the Brehon for a wedding it was perfect!

On behalf of both of us, we wanted to extend a massive Thank You for hosting our wedding and looking after us so well on the day and in the whole run up to it aswel. We loved the day itself, and you all did an amazing job - we were delighted with Rachel (our wedding coordinator) and want to thank her personally for making the day so great. We even had to mention her in our speech! She is a true professional at what she does, and was extremely easy to work with - nothing was ever a problem. To all the staff, all of our guests commented on the food and especially the cooked to order steak. And the speed at which the food was delivered was mentioned by so many people aswel. The politeness and friendly nature of all of the staff was also mentioned frequently, as well as the great service and overall reactions on what an amazing hotel it is. Luxurious was a word that was used a lot to describe the hotel by our guests. It really went beyond our expectations and we loved the day - The Brehon certainly made the day one to remember for us! We also could not go without mentioning the wedding manager on the night itself, who was Bob. He was just a pure gentleman and so easy to work with, he brightened up the night even more for us as he was just so friendly and we had great fun together also. He asked a few times if there was anything else that we needed throughout the night and nothing was a problem. We cannot comment enough on how great you all are at what you do. Looking forward to visiting the Brehon again very soon!

We could not be happier that we picked The Brehon, especially many thanks go to Rachel who was our Wedding Co-ordinator, she was brilliant from start to finish. Whilst given the nature what was going on with the world at the time she ensured that we had a wedding that was the same as pre covid, The pictures we had in this place really come out spectacularly. The staff in the place were amazing from the reception, the bar staff, the catering team and all the chefs, which brings me to the food, we have a number of our guests still talking about the food and it is 5 months later, it was out of this world. All in all a venue you should really be considering as it was certainly one of the best decisions we made in the planning of the wedding.

We got married in the Brehon in August 2021. We had the most amazing day, and everything was perfect. The staff were fantastic, and our wedding co-ordinator Rachel went above and beyond for us. We couldn't have asked for a better team to look after us, not only on the day, but the whole lead up and days after, we could not reccomend the Brehon enough! Location is amazing, hotel is beautiful, food top notch. We are so happy we choose the Brehon for our special day.

We loved every part of our wedding day, the reception canapés & drinks in the front garden were fabulous. Then what can we say about our meal, everything was perfect. Everyone’s steak was cooked to perfection and as requested. The fish dish, Everyone raves about. There was plenty of food on offer abs service was quick and professional. Could not fault the meal, the service, the drinks. Highly reccomend.

The Brehon were so accommodating to us for our wedding, even with people dropping out within a few days of the wedding due to the pandemic. The day flowed seamlessly and they even managed to play the All-Ireland semi final at both the drinks reception and in the ballroom (we were shouting for opposite teams) which was an incredible and unforgettable part of our day.

I honestly cannot express how amazing The Brehon and its staff were for our wedding day. Everything was exceptional both on the run up and the day itself. Staff so so helpful and friendly. They pulled out all the stops to make the day so special. Rachel was such a pleasure to work with, we would have been lost without Owen the chauffeur and Bob looked after us all the next day and was just so professional. I couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough. Food fantastic and surroundings are just breath taking. Overall everything was just magnificent and there is nothing I would have changed on the day.

We got married in the Brehon July 2021 and to say it was one of the best days of our lives is an understatement. We were fortunate enough to get married outside in the garden as the weather was absolutely glorious, we were able to have our drinks reception and some music all outside which was amazing as it was during Covid. When then went inside to have our dinner and the inside was as beautiful as the outside if that is even possible as outside was spectacular! Rachel was amazing to deal with and nothing was ever enough she made it all very easy...even in the next day and the day after that again when we came to collect our stuff the hotel were amazing! We booked our wedding in February 2020 to take place just 6 short months later in July 2020. Little did we know that a worldwide pandemic would make an appearance just a few weeks after confirming our date. The team at The Brehon were on hand to deal with our questions, queries, concerns and just to provide the most up to date information on restrictions as they came to light. With Ireland in lockdown, we knew our July date was going to be very difficult to achieve so we contacted The Brehon to see what other availability they had and we picked a new date at the end of August 2020. Restrictions were lifting and we hoped we could have the wedding we hoped for. Unfortunately though restrictions didn't ease quite as thought and numbers were restricted to 50. The Brehon were so supportive throughout and put us under no pressure. They said they would work with us, whatever we decided, whether it be to go ahead or postpone to a later date. We decided to go ahead and even with a few further hurdles through in the week leading up to the wedding we felt at ease as The Brehon accommodated our requests without hesitation. Our family travelled from the North of Ireland - a mere 6 hours - to Killarney for the wedding so we were extremely glad when they loved The Brehon just as much as we did. The location is just something else and the whole day was the relaxed, chilled out day we had hoped for. And the food was amazing!! We returned to The Brehon last year for our first anniversary and will continue to return in years to come (God willing) - One of our favourite places ever. We can't recommend The Brehon enough and know that anyone who choses it as their wedding venue will not be disappointed.

This is an amazing venue for a wedding. We received a very professional service from the first meeting we had with Sharon Devine. That first encounter was the main factor for us choosing the Brehon as our wedding venue. Sharon provided a very clear picture of what the Brehon could offer by way of a wedding reception. After we had booked our wedding date with the Brehon, we were provided with all the necessary information/details regarding the local suppliers (entertainers, church music etc) which we found very beneficial to us. We really enjoyed the menu tasting - the staff looked after us exceptionally well throughout & the food was outstanding. All communication from Caitriona Ashe was both extremely helpful and done with a very high level of professionalism. The wedding day itself went so well - everything was organised to perfection. All we had to do was show up on the day. We were delighted with the layout of the room, the floral arrangements, the drinks reception & canapes went down a treat with our guests. The food was outstanding and up to five star A La carte standard. Every small detail was carefully managed by Caitriona Ashe, especially given all the additional requirements during the pandemic, and Caitriona was always flexible & friendly in her approach, which made it very easy for us. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the wedding and many spoke of the excellent way the Brehon managed the whole event. We were delighted to have booked the wedding car at the Brehon and the driver did a wonderful job on the day. The availability of an on-site hair & beauty salon proved invaluable. It was most convenient for our bridal party on the day. The bridal suite was spacious and luxurious - a lovely hamper was delivered to the room. Congratulations to all the staff and management for making our wedding day so special & for doing a superb job in organising this memorable event for us.

We viewed several hotels when planning our wedding and from the minute we walked through the front doors of the Brehon we knew we had found the perfect location. Not only did the lobby of the hotel look amazing but the staff were extremely pleasant too. We met with Sharon the wedding sales manager and she couldn't have made us feel more at ease and welcome. We were given a tour and shown all the amenities before being offered complimentary tea/coffee. We quickly made the decision that this was the ideal place for our wedding. From that point on we were continuously updated on any deadlines which were upcoming and any requirements we might have missed or not considered. This helped us to be as prepared as possible. This attentiveness and attention to detail ensured that we were always at ease. We also knew that any questions we had could be asked and a quick response was always received. A couple of days before the wedding circumstances around the country changed but we were informed quickly of any changes which needed to be made so as to lessen the pressure on us. The day of the wedding couldn't have gone off more brilliantly. Caitriona and Sophia were excellent and very patient and professional. We were able to feel relaxed and they understood situations and offered us a few minutes to regather before the meal. The meal itself was amazing and left everybody thoroughly impressed. In spite of a delay in serving (a fault on our side due to us over-running elsewhere) the food was still cooked perfectly. Each and every person in attendance at our wedding had a fantastic time and could not praise the hotel, food, rooms and staff highly enough. The suite itself was spacious and had everything you would need. We received a complimentary basket with a newspaper on the day of our wedding and a bottle of Prosecco which was a really nice touch. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Brehon to anybody planning their wedding. The staff are professional and understand what is required to make a great wedding for any couple. They also understand that each couple will have their own stamp which they would like to put on it and as a result they are only too happy to help make these ideas possible. All this ensured that we and our guests had a day to remember.

We had our wedding in The Brehon in March and from start to finish it was the best day of our lives! Right from the very first consultation that we had with Sharon we were made to feel at ease. Nothing we asked was ever a problem and our vision was brought to life, even better than we had expected! We were one of the lucky couples that just managed to get married before the lockdown. I can’t imagine what it feels like for other couples having to postpone however if you book or have booked The Brehon I have absolutely no doubt they will continue to look after you until you can finally have your day! I cannot recommend this hotel enough and also Sharon and Caitriona for all the help and advice they gave us throughout the planning process! We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary! We had the most amazing wedding we could possible imagine, all thanks to The Brehon and the incredible staff they have. The Venue was elegant, the manager was so understanding, patient and comprehend, the staff was super attentive during the dinner and they make it all so easy and enjoyable, the food was exquisite for en everyone. We cannot recommend more a the Brehon for your wedding, only if you want it perfect!

We had our wedding here in Jan this year. Sharon and Catriona we’re so friendly, professional and fantastic to deal with from start to finish. It is a stunning venue and everything was perfect. I rate 4/5 on value only because the rooms on the night of and night after our wedding even at ‘guest rates’ could be found much cheaper on 3rd party hotel sites.

When choosing a wedding venue we visited a number of 4 and 5 star venues in Killarney but as soon we entered the foyer of the Brehon we were blown away. It has a real homely feel as soon as you arrive. We met Sharon initially and she was lovely and very knowledgeable. The packages on offer are fantastic with lots of options and flexibility.  Caitriona was our main point of contact and she could not have done more for us. She was incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the process - nothing was too much trouble. She was so creative with our seating plan, table names and menus. Caitriona even contacted our wedding florist to ensure that the floral centre pieces would match our bouquets which was such a lovely touch. She also allowed us to bring in DIY tayto sandwiches for a 2am snack for our guests which everyone loved! We had 170 on the day and I thought this was an ideal number for the venue. We booked the chiavari chairs from Tie the Knot and felt that they really added to the room. The day went off without a hitch and our guests were all commenting on what a lovely hotel the Brehon is, how amazing the food is, how lovely all the staff are and how spacious their hotel rooms were. All signs of an amazing wedding venue! We would highly recommend the Brehon to anyone looking to get married in Killarney.

We held our reception in the Brehon hotel the weekend before Christmas 2019. We live abroad but I am originally from the area so I knew the Brehon hotel well. Catriona and all the wedding staff were so easy to communicate with, especiallt by email which was fantastic. No request was denied no matter how annoying. We had several people with dietary requirements and severe allergies and all was easily managed and planned for in advance. The day itself was seamless, the food fantastic and everything arranged for; the wedding team at the Brehon (particularly Catriona) were complete professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with. A strong recommendation is that both my sisters also held their receptions at the Brehon hotel. Many of our guests were non-locals and also spoke very highly of the accommodation and spa at the hotel and planto return in the future for a holiday. Keep up the good work, we can not wait to return!

The wedding package was incomparable to the other hotels that we have viewed. Aside from wonderful menu options, their package includes a harpist or a pianist, table flowers, table plans, chair covers, changeable lighting, candy cart and the Moposa App which really helped us with the planning especially with tracking guest RSVPs. The view is amazing around the hotel and they have huge, clean rooms. Members of staff are warm and very welcoming and would go out of their way to cater to your needs. The chef even cooked me a dinner which was not in the menu anymore. Apparently, I had an outdated menu in the room where I stayed the night before our big day. Our wedding coordinator, Caitriona, was always on top of things, quick to reply and went above and beyond her duty. We'll forever remember her kindness and professionalism. She looked after all the decorations and ensured that all the personal touches we wanted was in place. She kept us on schedule on our wedding day. The Brehon was also very accommodating with our food requests i.e. with our canape options, the bride having a different main course, special food requests from guests and a great children's menu as well. The canapes and the afternoon tea during the champagne reception went down a treat. The dinner was superb! We knew it would be amazing when we had our menu tasting around Easter time this year. Our guests mentioned that there were so much food which was a good complain. Kudos to the chef! The midnight snacks were good as well. The driver of the bridal car whose name we forgot, looked after us well during the photoshoot after the ceremony. We stayed for 2 nights at the Bridal Suite and had an amazing time. We are still buzzing a month after our special day. The Brehon really does live up to their hashtag #LetUsAmazeYou

We worked with Sharon , who we found amazing to deal with. We planned our wedding from Scotland and she was always a phone call away to help with even the smallest of things, some items which were not directly involved with the Brehon, from cake & car recommendations to mini moon locations to visit ! We found the Brehon to be home away from home. We both, along with all our family and friends got ready and left from the Brehon and felt it was like home away from home. We had an amazing 3 nights there celebrating with our friends and family and The Scottish and Irish alike were so impressed with The Brehon. From the front desk, to top notch room service, warm breakfast greetings to an amazing wedding meal followed by late,late drinks in the bar! Each and everyone has expressed how they felt like kings and queens for their few days away! We cannot recommend Sharon and her wonderful team at The Brehon enough! The Brehon feels like family and we cannot wait to visit 'Home' again soon!

Our experience with the Brehon was excellent, especially our wedding coordinator, Caitriona, who made all our expectations a reality.

All of the staff at the Brehon were so helpful at all times, but in particular Caitriona Ashe was an absolute dream to work with. She was so organised, pleasant, helpful and efficient, offering advice and guidance as needed and always going above and beyond for us, for example the table numbers we had romantic quotes and she put relevant pictures alongside them and designed them beautifully, this is only one small example! As well as this, wonderful food, fabulous décor and everything went very smoothly. The driver of the Audi supplied (can't remember his name) was also amazing, he relaxed us and gave us little tips before we walked down the aisle! The day was just amazing and we are so grateful to all the staff at the Brehon.

The Brehon as a wedding venue is nothing less than superb! We got married and had our wedding reception there in September 2019. During the venue planning stage of the process I visited The Brehon for an initial meeting to understand the amenities available. I was greeted by their dedicated wedding coordinator, Caitriona and hotel sales manager, Sharon, who had recently had her own wedding there. The meeting was excellent – I was given a personal tour of the drink reception areas (can either be indoor on the mezzanine or outdoor on the patio depending on the unpredictable Irish weather). Then we moved onto see the options for the wedding banquet suite which could hold up to 220 people. The room is very spacious and offers all the required amenities (dedicated bar, band space, large dancefloor, dedicated toilet access etc). The hotel is a 4 star and the décor is very impressive – creating the feeling of a 5+ star experience. The hotel also offers a virtual reality tour so that you can see how the room would look completely laid out, including multiple versions of table arrangements and decoration. Additionally, The Brehon offers an in-house salon which is ran by Pat O’Neill. I met with Pat, who is an absolute character and gentleman. Pat explained how the day would run and what treatments he offered. Next, I discussed in detail the 3 wedding packages offered by The Brehon which provided an expansive choice of food and course options, catering for any budget. The topic of accommodation was a crucial aspect for us as we needed to cater for guests from overseas and Caitriona laid out the option of holding a block of hotel rooms for the wedding weekend so that guests could have priority access to room bookings in this busy seasonal period. Additionally, we had 95 overseas guests who came a week ahead of the wedding – so Caitriona arranged for our guests to have access to booking The Gleneagle Apartments which slept 5+ guests which are situated a mere 150 yards from the Brehon Hotel. The apartments provided 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living space with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. The Gleneagle is a sister hotel to The Brehon and so this made for a very affordable option for guests looking to enjoy the beauty of Killarney for more than just the wedding ceremony. This really created an image of The Brehon as a destination wedding venue for us. At all times during this meeting, I was made to feel very comfortable and welcomed by Caitriona (being offered complementary tea and a snack). Taking all of the above into consideration, my wife and I chose to go with The Brehon. Having decided to go with The Brehon as our wedding reception venue, now started the planning of our wedding. The Brehon team were excellent in this regard – Caitriona was our main point of contact, but when needed Sharon (Wedding Sales Manager) and Maurice (Hotel operations manager) assisted to support. Caitriona provided an initial checklist which gave a timeline of when we should complete certain tasks for the wedding. Additionally, Caitriona provided a recommended supplier list for wedding cake, church music, wedding bands, wedding decoration, photographers etc. This was extremely helpful as we were planning a wedding with me living in London and my wife in Texas. To ensure that we were on track for the wedding, Caitriona held multiple calls with us and provided clarity on any questions we had. We visited Caitriona for a one to one meeting twice in the process – in December 2018 and May 2019. This provided excellent assurance that The Brehon was going to be able to deliver the wedding event of our dreams. During our December visit, we were offered a discounted room rate to allow us to experience the hotel. This was very helpful to understand the amenities that our guests would be offered. The breakfast was buffet style and had a wide variety of options. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with all the amenities you expect from a luxurious 4-star hotel. Additionally, during this visit we were given a tour of the two wedding suite options – one being traditionally styled and the other being a more modern design. We were very impressed with both, going with the modern design for the night of the wedding and the night after so as to not feel rushed to pack the next morning. During our May visit, we had a menu tasting which was complementary with our package. Caitriona had warned us to come hungry and she wasn’t wrong. We were given full portions of each of our menu choices so that we could make an informed choice of what to put on our menu for our guests. We decided to go with the lamb shank as our main course and it was sensational – falling off the bone. Initially, I had been eager to have steak on the menu but the lamb was too good to look past. Additionally, from an operational aspect – serving lamb shank versus steak would be far easier to ensure consistent quality during service. A key aspect which my wife wanted to understand was where her and her bridal party could get ready the morning of the wedding. To facilitate this, Caitriona arranged for room 105 to be reserved for the bridal party. This room is adjoined to Pat O’Neill’s salon and meant that the ladies could come and go during the morning between getting their hair styled and most importantly, they were out of the sight of wedding guests and the public. This was truly an amazing option to have and the bridal party enjoyed breakfast on the mezzanine right outside Pat’s salon – resulting in a very calm, relaxed and enjoyable experience for both the bride and the bridal party. As we drew nearer to the wedding date, smaller details needed to be decided on. One of which was transportation to and from the hotel to the church and photographs afterward. Caitriona offered the hotel courtesy car – a top spec 2019 Audi A6 and driver free of charge as a gesture of gratitude to us. This ended up being amazing, the car looked great and our driver Eoin was excellent. Our photographers wanted to take us to the golf club to capture the scenery and Eoin happily obliged, ensuring we had chilled water in the car to keep us cool, calm and collected. The day itself went extremely well. We had a 4pm wedding in St. Mary’s cathedral which meant that we had a very quick turnaround for meal service for the hotel. We had multiple discussions with Caitriona and Maurice who between them delivered a seamless drinks reception and dinner service. We were given a “first look” at the room before guests were brought into the room, during which Maurice provided us with a warm snack to keep us going – again amazing attention to detail. The following morning, following a late night sing song in the residents bar until 4am, we were provided with a very special breakfast. We were given a table with a scenic view and presented with champagne, strawberries & cream as a congratulations from the hotel. Additionally, we were given a beautiful gift from the hotel, consisting of two engraved champagne glasses with our wedding date on the glass. Along with this we were given a bottle of champagne and a photo frame which outlined our wedding timeline – from my first visit in October 2018 to the wedding day in September 2019. All in all, the professionalism and quality of service provided by Caitriona, Sharon and Maurice was spectacular. Every need we had was considered and with that, it allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams and memories for a lifetime.

Wow, where do I start? Even if I were to start from early March, The Brehon was amazing. Every new set of guidelines that came out from the government, they updated us on how that would work for us. This was hugely reassuring as so many different interpretations of the restrictions were circulating. Caitriona, the wedding coordinator was fantastic at understanding what we wanted and didn’t want. She was the first person to hear our crazy idea of pulling the wedding forward and from this very first phone call she made it seem like it was completely possible to do. This, even though everyone else was quite surprised and taken aback, was what helped us believe it was the right thing to do. She was also fantastic at thinking of ways that we could do things like the sweet cart and the seating plan but in a Covid safe way. Something that really helped us, was how the wedding team worked so seamlessly with our suppliers, the cake maker, the florist, the band, the photobooth and the photographer. Honestly, when we were booking each and every one of them, their faces would light up when we told them the Brehon was the reception venue. Everyone was so complimentary of the Brehon and the wedding itself. There was so much delicious food, and honestly it felt like what we would think a normal wedding should be, even though it was clear that they were following the COVID guidelines meticulously.

Couldnt recommend the brehon hotel enough. Caitriona our co-ordinator was amazing anything we asked for was done. She is fantastic at her job! The food was amazing everyone is still talking about it. The staff are so friendly and helpful. And the rooms are so comfortable and fancy. The function room looked fantastic on our day!

The Brehon were simply outstanding in every step of our wedding from the beginning to the end. The staff are so professional and the attention to detail is amazing. I cannot recommend them enough they are such professionals and go above and beyond to make your wedding unique and spectacular.

The wedding coordinator was excellent, she has a really calm manner and managed the whole day excellently. She was very approachable and always helped out with any of our requests. The food was outstanding and our guests loved the steak cooked to order and the individual veg portions. The room decor was very tasteful and they matched flowers perfectly with bridal flowers. The outdoor drinks reception area was lovely. It was a pleasure dealing with the Brehon from start to finish.

Wedding dream We got married at the end of June and had our wedding reception at the Brehon. What can I say...where do I start? Firstly we had the most amazing wedding coordinator who made everything so easy and nothing at all was an issue. Sharon Devine you are an absolute star. In the months and weeks before the wedding she was there every step of the way for us. A wedding is probably the biggest thing you'll ever have to organise and having a great coordinatior behind you is half the battle. Our guests were wowed by the rooms, the beauty of the hotel inside and out, the food and the top class service provided. The Mezzanine when you walk in is so eye catching and fabulous for photos when the bride and groom walks in on the red carpet. There's so many things that make the Brehon stand out as a wedding venue and we couldn't be more happy with the choice we made. We chose to get married in the Brehon in May. From start to finish the team at the Brehon looked after our every need. They talked us through all our choices, providing lots of information and their experience to guide the planning process. The room was decorated simply and elegantly for the ceremony and the meal. The wedding planning team made my husband and I feel relaxed and at ease in the build up to the ceremony. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic meal at the hotel and the food for the afters. I would recommend the Brehon as a wedding venue.

We had our Wedding here in May 2019, they're wont be enough space here to fully explain how impressed we were but here goes!! From our first show around of the beautiful property we knew this was the PERFECT venue to have our big day. Just to be slightly different i had always envisaged a Disney themed Wedding, and had spent many hours online looking for inspiration. We were immediately put totally at ease by Caitriona the wedding Co Ordinator, who not only shared my name but my love for all things Disney. From the beginning any little requests were being noted down by her and she even offered suggestions and ideas. Once she saw my Disney ideas and what i was Making and buying, her head seemed to fill with more ideas, she went totally above and beyond by altering the hotels usual offering to include Disney themed menus, seating plan & table numbers. Just to make they're jobs harder my husband and I are both chefs and many of our guests work in the hotel industry so the gauntlet was thrown down to Chad Byrne and his team early in the time.Sitting down to talk to Chad was great fun with lots of ideas being thrown around, ultimately we all agreed we need a bit of a WOW factor during main course. He came back to us with a concept of individual portions of salt baked cod cracked open at each table, we tried to keep this a secret from family & friends as i really wanted to see they're reaction on the night,little did we know that the hotel had kept a surprise from us. Before main course i noticed Food stations being pushed in the banqueting room, they had decided to cook the stir-fry vegetables that accompanied our Cod main course right in front of our eyes, definitely a WOW for all our guests!! These Stations were again used for the evening food where the chefs were front and centre cooking in front of our guests including special fried rice boxes, gourmet hot-dogs. We cannot praise highly enough the Brehon management and team overall for making our Special day one that we can never forget.We cannot possibly mention everyone, but from reception to housekeeping to all service staff it was quite simply FAULTLESS Catriona & Gavin Nolan

We would highly recommend The Brehon Hotel as a wedding venue. We had an amazing wedding day at this hotel and couldn't fault it at all! A very well done to all at The Brehon Hotel, you truly live up to "exceeding expectations"!! The day was perfect, start to finish. Everything appeared seamless, professional and perfectly executed by the team. Caitriona was spot on with everything, she was on hand to assist with anything and she really looked after us. Our guests all really enjoyed themselves and to this day I am still hearing positive feedback and how much they all loved the hotel. The steak.....what can I say that pretty much every guest has said to us. To have steak on a wedding menu is fantastic, the fact that the staff asked how each guest would like it cooked at a WEDDING is surprising and the fact that it was executed perfectly for each of them....well...it's true...the food exceeded everyone's expectations. Compliments to the Chef and our thanks to all in the kitchen! Our guests had so much fun at the drinks reception, they felt they were abroad being out on the lawn, one of two drinks reception areas at the hotel.Top marks to the staff for being so attentive to us and our guests. They were excellent, with special thanks to The Brehon's chauffeur Owen, a lovely guy who went above and beyond his role on the day helping us out with even the smallest of details. Our family's favorite hotel. I was so overjoyed when we were able to book it for our wedding. The hotel's super reputation, outstanding food, and great staff ticked a lot of boxes for us. We are extremely grateful to the Brehon and it’s staff for providing us with our dream wedding!! We spoke of a Brehon wedding long before we were even engaged and it exceeded our expectations! We’ve always loved the hotel for nights away, dinner etc but it really came into its own as a wedding venue! From the reception on the mezzanine to the food for dinner and the evening buffet it just couldn’t be faulted!! Fillet steak cooked to order is rare in a wedding venue and it went down a treat with our guests, they’ve been raving about it since! Sharon and Catriona are experts in their field! They answered every question quickly and in detail and never made us feel like we were being silly! No matter how big or small our request they obliged making us feel like we were the only couple planning a wedding with them!! On the day Sharon was hands on and many guests commented on how “on the ball” she was! For us it was reassuring knowing she was on site to ensure things ran smoothly!! To any future couple considering the Brehon we can highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, staff super helpful, service is outstanding, very flexible and satisfied our every request. Food was delicious including presentation of dishes. It was a great pleasure to be dealing with the hotel from start to finish. Beautiful Hotel and Location but a huge lack of communication between staff which led to alot mistakes throughout our wedding plans including on the actual day.

If you want a perfect wedding.... then go to the brehon. Our wedding was beyond our wildest expectations. We were treated like royalty. Our wedding planners were just phenomenal. The whole staff there are just wonderful. You will not be disappointed. It's the perfect venue.

Sharon and Caitriona were amazing and so helpful with everything as was Pat O Neill from the style suite. He helped me organise all our beauty needs! Just to say a massive thank you to everyone at the Brehon who helped organise our big day! We are so grateful. We had the best day! Thank you all. We love everything about the Brehon. We had a lovely day for our wedding in a lovely hotel. Our guests all said that they too had a wonderful day. I always found all the staff to be courteous. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. However in the run up to the wedding we were informed of several problems regarding guest accomadation, e.g..people who had booked only to be to down the line that the hotel had no record of their booking. This happened regularly and continued for a long time. That being said, on our wedding day their were no issues and everything ran according to plan. I would recommend the Brehon to people.

Me and my beautiful wife got married here on August 11th and everything was sensational. The organization, the set up of everything, the service and the hospitality was breathtaking. Your treated like royalty making sure that your every need is met. The wedding manager Caitriona as well as every member of staff were amazing. The food was brilliant and everyone keeps talking about the wedding which is a good thing and the venue and everything about it is the main topic of conversation. I could stay here and keep writing about it but if I were you I would just go there and witness it for yourself.

We had our wedding reception in the Brehon this July. We are from Tyrone and most of our guests traveled a long journey and had thee most pleasant experience. Even though the Brehon have loads of weddings each year we really felt like ours was their only one. The staff were unbelievable and made our day special for everyone. Caitriona, Stephen and Marius couldn’t have done enough for us from the first day we spoke with them and do top it of they are lovely people. The rest of the hotel staff made us and our guests feel like they were honoured to have us. It was also good value for money as well and no hidden costs when the final bill came. We don't know where to begin to even express how amazing our wedding day was! It was a magical, emotional and heartfelt day from beginning to end. The sun shone brightly on the beaches of Ballybunion and on St John’s Church where our family and friends gathered to celebrate our wedding ceremony. The celebrations continued onto my place of work The Brehon, where our guests enjoyed an idyllic arrival reception on the hotel’s lawn overlooking Killarney National Park before moving to the banqueting suite where the festivities continued with a delicious five course meal followed by dancing late into the night. All of the suppliers on the day were outstanding! But in particular my wonderful colleagues at the Brehon who really pulled out all of the stops for us, lining the red carpet with a petal welcome for us, it was like coming home to celebrate the most perfect day of our lives!

We didn’t think it was possible for the Brehon to exceed our expectations, but somehow, it did. We love the hotel and have always spent weekends in Killarney in the Brehon, hence why we choose it for our venue. The amount of people who commented on the food being the best they have ever had at a wedding was extraordinary. We cannot pick one thing to fault. We just want to have our wedding in the Brehon all over again!We love Killarney as a couple, and wanted our wedding to be a weekend away for our close family and friends. The Brehon was always going to win for Killarney.

fantastic venue for wedding has everything and more to make the day memorable

We had an amazing day it was everything we ever wanted. We had a few minor issues on the run up to the wedding. Nothing major. The day after the wedding when we recieved our bill we were being charged for the wine and my mothers room which we were told were part of the package. The problem was rectified and all was ok then.

Highly impressed with the Brehon the staff was very attendent and the food was lovely.

The Managers that stood out to us were Kelly Ann & Sinead who were extremely helpful and approachable. Also at the meal tasting the lady serving us (I think she was Croatian?) was excellent at explaining the menus and went above and beyond in terms of service. We really didnt think we would enjoy the day as much as we did. All the stress was taken away the moment we arrived at The Brehon. The guests all complimented the food (even the very hard to please!!). We really couldnt fault anything about the hotel or the staff. All excellent. Thank you.

We were a couple from London getting married in Killarney at Thr Brehon. The wedding team were absolutely fantastic, on the day of our wedding I didn’t have to worry about contacting any of my vendors - the team at The Brehon took care of everything. We were super impressed at our food tasting and were unsure if they would produce the same quality on the Wedding day, however the food was absolutely fantastic! Our guests commented that it was by far the best food and wine they had ever had at a wedding. A lovely venue, amazing food and great team! We could not of asked for a better day.

Hi, we recently had our wedding reception in the Brehon (12/5). I just taught I would email you about our experience! We loved every minute of it! Kelly Ann is a unbelievable wedding planner and from start to finish had everything under control! She had everything down to a fine detail and she is such a wonderful asset to your company! Everyone complimented me the day after of how good the brehon was from the drinks reception to the meal! Kelly Ann showed no sign of stress on the day which is obviously good from a brides point of view! I knew I had nothing to worry about that morning when I woke- I had met Kelly Ann the Thursday before hand and we had gone through everything! She was also very kind and generous to my parents and they spoke very highly of her. If i was to do it all over again (hopefully not)!!!! I would go back to the brehon. I had a lot of friends coming from all parts of the country and everyone was so impressed by the brehon- a lot of them asked why it's not a 4*!! Check in was made very easy the attention at the meal was second to none, everything was excellent The rooms were fantastic the thing I liked about it is that you can control the temp of the to our liking most hotels just have a controlled heat which can be very uncomfortable. My sister got married at the Brehon Hotel Killarney and what an outstanding day it was. As Maid of Honour I attended all the wedding meetings with my sister. Kelly Ann was our Coordinator and wow what can I say. From the first day we meet her we knew my sister's wedding was in safe hands. The kindness, care and dedication shown was outstanding. This lady really does know her stuff. She was always at the end of the phone for any questions we had, this lead to stress free planning, what any bride and groom deserve. The day itself couldn't have been any more amazing. Having stayed the night before in the hotel we made use of the wonderful onsite Hair and Beauty facilities. Kelly Ann could not have done anymore for us that morning, even going as far as helping my sister with her dress, calming the nerves before we left for the church and even making sure we had all had something to eat before we left. It really was the small things that meant so much to us. The day ran without any problems or hiccups. We are so thankful to Kelly Ann for all her help along the way. Massive thank you to all the wonderful team at the Brehon every department could not have done more for us. Looking forward to returning very soon.

Hello, I was at a wedding in your hotel last Friday, 21st of October. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for a fantastic time! The hotel, facilities and food was wonderful. Myself and my husband stayed in the hotel and we loved it all. We were due to stay two nights but we had to cut our stay short due to family constraints. I want to congratulate you all on great service and lovely staff. I really, really hope that we will be back to stay in your hotel at some stage in the near future, to make up for our early departure. Hopefully I'll get to use the spa facilities then as I have heard a lot of positive reports about this area of your hotel. Kelly Ann and Cathy did a wonderful job for us throughout the planning and on the day. The Audi driver also was fantastic and given the weather went above an beyond during the photos. If you have any further comments please outline below I was delighted with how the day came together. My family and friends had nothing but praise for the hotel with the food topping the bill of compliments. Why did you select The Brehon Hotel? The Brehon is a well knowned Hotel with a great reputation, This played a huge part in our choice of hotel as we were confident that the hotel would be able to deliver a perfect day for us.

We held our wedding in the Brehon Hotel on the 16th of September and all we can say is superb, brilliant, luxurious, friendly, warm, welcoming and we would do it all again. Our wedding was on a Friday and from the Wednesday until the Sunday (when we sadly had to leave the hotel) they could not have done enough. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the hotel and the spa was. The overriding comment was that the food was spectacular for the wedding, no one believed that for example steaks were cooked to order but yes they were and the overall selection and quality was fantastic. Guests are still commenting on the the hotel and wedding a month later. The hotel also offered apartments for rent on the grounds something that went down very well with all who took advantage of them. Personally we love this hotel and the setting and would recommend it and Kelly Ann our wedding coordinator for all future couples. With the hair salon on site 'Pat O'Neill' was the icing on the cake for the bridal party and was nothing but professional. The hotel also has a wedding car for use, another little touch. And yes for golf lovers the brehon is the perfect Base. We can't wait to go back and visit our friends at the Brehon. 5 star all the way. Stayed September 2016, travelled with family.

We had our wedding reception in the Brehon on the 9th of September 2016 and I simply do not know where to start. It was exceptional from start to finish. Kelly Ann was a great help on the build up and even helped with a surprise that I had for my wife to be. She had absolutely no clue it was going on in the background. There was no ask too much for them, they accommodated us in every way possible. All our extra décor items were taken over the day before, placed beautifully in the room by the staff and all packed up for us on our check out from the hotel. We didn’t have to lift a finger. On the day Kelly Ann (and of course all the staff) were so attentive; she had noticed that my wife’s grandmother was cold. She went away and got a blanket for her without even asking and also offered her a cup of tea. She is always in the background to make sure everything runs smoothly but yet she blends in and allows everything to progress without a flaw. I have no doubt we do not know the half of what was done for our guests on the day as everything was seamless. We had arrived to the hotel before our flowers for the cake had arrived. She made no issue of it and went and located them so we could take our photos with the cake. When a guest left their place in the reception she was over immediately with a silver cloche to ensure their food was kept hot. All our guests are still talking about the food and the wine and all say it is the best wedding venue they have ever been at. It was absolutely amazing and the kitchen and waiting staff deserve so much credit and a massive thank you from us. There was loads for everyone and everything was cooked to perfection. The drinks reception was held upstairs on the Mezzanine and it is absolutely gorgeous. It has the wow factor as all you guests can see you as you enter the hotel. We were a little later than expected and we wanted to ensure we got enough time in our drinks reception with family and friends before the bell was rung. It was no issue for them to push it out a little for us to ensure we got the most out of every part of our day. When we walked in and saw the reception room it really did take our breath away. It was absolutely beautiful, everything looked so elegant and nothing was out of place. We absolutely love the Brehon and on the build up to the wedding we would go for a drink there every couple of weeks and will continue to keep up this tradition. The Bridal Suite was gorgeous as are all the other rooms. We look forward to our Anniversary stay in September! The Brehon went above and beyond for us and we can honestly not recommend it highly enough. This hotel without doubt offered us a 5 star service on our wedding day, all the staff were professional, helpful and kind. We have no doubt that our guests that traveled (from far and near) for the wedding will be returning to the Brehon for their own break away. To Kelly Ann, all staff and management we cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience you gave us and all our guests on our wedding day. We are so glad we chose the Brehon to have our wedding. It was the most amazing day and Kelly Ann and all the staff at the Brehon could not have done more for us. The food was amazing and there was so much of it. So many of our guests have come back to us with comments on how great the staff were and no request was an issue and everyone had a smile. The rooms were just beautiful and we were blown away by our bridal suite which is actually more like an apartment!! Just had my wedding at the Brehon in Killarney, from the moment we decided to have or special day at the Brehon Kellyanne our wedding coordinator has been absolutely brilliant. We live in the UK and she was so helpful in making it do easy to organise. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Also the venue and food was top notch. We had people from all over Ireland, UK and the States and everyone really enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone at the Brehon for making our special day a day to remember. We'll see you all soon!!!!!! I was lucky enough to have 2 weddings!! I currently live and work in Hong Kong and we had our Chinese wedding in the Sheraton Hotel TST Hong Kong back in March which was brilliant and a incredible experience. So the Brehon has some has some big boots to fill as the standard of hotels in Hong Kong are some of the best in the world........especially the Sheraton Our wedding day experience in the Brehon more than rivaled the Sheraton Hotel. The banquet and food was incredible. The majority of our guests complimented the food and everything about the hotel. Our out of town guests from Hong Kong/Canada/Singapore were wowed by the experience they had staying at the hotel and for the wedding. We definitely had a 5 star experience in the Brehon and would recommend this hotel for a wedding. “Fantastic hotel and staff” We recently had our wedding at the Brehon. Kelly Ann and the rest of the staff were so helpful and professional. All of our guests were highly impressed with the staff, the mezzanine reception, the food, the wine, their own rooms and the luxurious spa. We recently held our Wedding Reception at the Brehon Hotel in Killarney. Having traveled from Thailand to share our special day with family and friends we chose the Brehon Hotel because of the quality of the Hotel, its surroundings and the service which was second to none. From the outset our every need was catered for, leaving us to focus on our wedding preparations. Being a native of Tralee we had guests who came from Kerry, the UK, Canada as well as Thailand, all of which commented on the quality of the food and hospitality which was provided throughout the days of our stay. We had our wedding day in the Brehon hotel on the 23rd of June and the hotel was exceptional! Firstly Kelly Ann, the wedding coordinator was fantastic in helping us plan for our big day. Every time we emailed her with questions she sorted everything for us so efficiently. Our wedding reception in the private dining room was magical. The lighting and the table layout was just beautiful. When we arrived our family were so well settled in with the beautiful drinks reception. The meal was out of this world!! Our families are still raving about the food to this day! It was honestly the nicest meal we have ever had and to have the steak cooked to every guests liking was the talking point amongst our guests. They loved it! Kelly Ann had the room so well set up for the 9 children that we had at the wedding. They spent the whole evening playing and we didn't hear one complaint from them!! The bridal suite was luxurious and both families loved their rooms, so much so that they cannot wait to return again! The children loved the fact that the fairy left cookies and milk in their rooms each night. I think it was the highlight for them!! The after wedding party was brilliant and the barbecue food was divine and plenty of food for everyone. We must give a huge thanks to all the staff in the Brehon. They were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They were so attentive. Thanks to all at the Brehon hotel for making our wedding day so magical.

I thought all staff went above and beyond and provided excellent service. From small friendly chats to offers of assistance the staff were excellent. Both Daniel and I were so impressed with The Brehon Hotel from start to finish. The staff, the food, the accommodation and amenities were fantastic. You get the sense that the staff in this hotel truly enjoy their job and all played a part in making it a wonderful and memorable wedding weekend for us and our guests. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at this spectacular hotel on the 16th of April 2016. We cannot fault it, everything was perfect... the service, the food, the atmosphere, the bedrooms, the layout, the decor, the staff, the location, the views... the list is endless! Kelly Ann was our hotel wedding co-ordinator, she was just so friendly and calm. She definitely has the magic touch, nothing was a problem or too big of an ask. The bridal suite is just out of this world too, I didn't want to leave! Our day was just perfection from beginning to end and we look forward to visiting our favourite hotel for decades to come. Room Tip: Any rooms I have stayed in have been ideal and there are no problems to report.

The Brehon was the ideal venue for Kevin and I to hold our wedding day as we were having a non traditional wedding so it meant we had the stunning Brehon as our ceremony venue as well as our reception venue and it was just superb from beginning to end. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, the rooms, everything was top class. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we couldn't fault anyone but our stand out has to be Kelly Ann as she guided us through the planning process and she was so helpful on the day itself. She ensured everything ran smoothly, which it did. She was always there for us but she was unobtrusive and discreet. She made the whole experience that much better. The hotel itself was breath taking as we walked through the front door, it literally took our breath away so we knew it was for us the moment we stepped inside.

We couldn't be happier with hotel. Kelly ann was so accommodating and helpful. The suite was really spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the food was lovely. The reception was really nice and my guests really enjoyed their day.

We went searching for our Wedding venue and we went into the Brehon Hotel 2014. The moment we entered the hotel we just knew this was where we wanted to book our wedding, we were met by the wedding and banqueting co-ordinators Olivier and Kelly Ann, whom we chatted with and they help us with our wedding planning at the hotel. We must say a big thank you to Kelly Ann whom through out the year emailed us on all updates about our wedding and always met us even when we popped in without arrangement to discuss any issues that we needed to update, we found Kelly Ann was a excellent wedding Co-ordinator and went to all aspects to make sure that everything was just perfect on our wedding day, and throughout the whole weekend. We must also thank Chad and his team for amazing food that was served at our wedding and all through the weekend as we had dined in the restaurant with our family and friends for dinner the night before the wedding and we had lunch on the Sunday and a Buffet on the Sunday evening and the food was Amazing. The Bridal suite was outstanding and this Hotel is wow in every way, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly through out the whole weekend. Our guest at our wedding were delighted and gave us excellent feedback on the quality of food and service and we must say how professional and fantastic the staff are at the hotel. We recently got married in the Brehon - it was a civil ceremony. Kelly Ann O'Connor was our wedding co-ordinator and she was so helpful with her advice - made it so easy for us. All of your staff deserve to be rewarded as all are fantastic but one lady stands out for us every time,Kelly Ann O Connor is amazing. We were married last year and each time we have returned since she has remembered us and spoken to us & treated us like we were still the special couple. She's amazing and your so lucky to have such a genuine, pleasant, accommodating lady on your team. She may be they wedding coordinator but we have seen her pull pints, wait on tables and look after anyone she can along her way. “Another Amazing Stay in our Favourite Hotel !” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago My husband and i stayed in the Brehon Hotel for Easter Weekend and once again, this hotel delivers above and beyond. Our rooms was beautiful on arrival. Amazing note written welcoming my husband and myself back (we got married in October 2015 in the Brehon). A Welcome Plate with chocolate was on the table in the room as well as a bottle of red wine, the exact same wine that we had served at our wedding reception! We met Brian, the manager and Kelly Ann, the wedding coordinator and they were so nice to us and so welcoming. We booked a massage in the Angsana Spa for Easter Sunday, so relaxing and the ladies in the spa were as brilliant as ever. Sunday night we booked dinner in the Danu,enjoyed every morsel of food we were given! I have to give a special shout out to Luckas, the wine waiter in the Danu ! What a nice guy. He was serving the wine at our wedding and when we can into the restaurant , he remembered us, he informed all the other staff that we had gotten married there last year . It was such a nice thing to do, as our lovely table server came to us and welcomed us back to the Brehon. Cant wait to return to the Brehon. My husband and I got married in the Brehon hotel in July 2015. KellyAnn and Greg and their entire team were most professional and pleasant in the run up to the day and most importantly on the day itself. We were delighted with the food and the service and I have to note that these guys are genuine pros - they ensured everything ran smoothly and we did not have to worry about a thing. Even some missing cameras and other items were collected and kept safely for me in the office. The honeymoon suite was out of this world - I will never forget how I felt walking into the suite. All our guests commented on the high standards set by the team and the food was superb. Even the next day as we continued the party in the hotel bar, the staff still knew we were the bride and groom and treated us and our guests with such kindness and were absolutely professional at all times. Well done the team at the Brehon and I am certain we made the best choice in wedding venue.

while everyone was lovely, there are three people I would like to give a special mention to. 1) Kelly Ann - we were back for our one year anniversary and Kelly Ann went out of her way to meet us & make our visit feel special 2) Lorraine Salmon - we had a group dinner to celebrate our first anniversary, both our families joined us for this. In the weeks running up to this Lorraine was very helpful and flexible when it came to organizing this...she even arranged for our menu to be personalized with our wedding picture, lovely touch! 3) Medina - we met Medina on the evening of our group dinner. She really added the personal touch making sure we were all happy. She also arranged for two tables to be set aside the next morning so we could have breakfast together. All round super service.

Amazing day! Nothing was too big a request during lead up and all the preparation was made so easy. Service on the day was outstanding and each and every one of the staff went above and beyond. We were so delighted that we chose The Brehon for our wedding venue. Heather did a fabulous job as our wedding coordinator and accommodated every request that we had. Every member of staff that was involved in our wedding was so friendly and all made every effort to ensure that our day was perfect. We had our wedding at The Brehon in September 2012, and we were made feel like our wedding was the only one being held in the hotel that year! It was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be and more - the food and service were second to none, and Heather and the staff couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The Brehon wasn't the only wedding venue we visited in Killarney but as soon as we walked through the door the others immediately became a distant memory. Straight away we could could picture ourselves there on our wedding day, surrounded by our family and friends. Heather, Greg & the rest of the wonderful staff at The Brehon worked with us every step of the way to bring our dreams to life. Our wedding day on 24th August was magical and we couldn't have imagined celebrating it anywhere else

When we entered The Brehon foyer for the first time, we were very impressed by the appearance of the hotel, and once we spoke with Heather and some of her colleagues, we were left in no doubt that this was the venue for us. The hotel offers many fine facilities, along with a great level of comfort, so we knew our guests would be very happy to stay here and celebrate our wedding with us. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked The Brehon and as ideas flowed to and fro, as we pulled the whole event together, there was no sense of panic on our part as we knew we were in very capable hands with Heather and her team. It was important for us to tick the boxes in providing a good venue but we also wanted to give our guests something extra, something special and The Brehon allowed us to do just that. From the very warm welcome extended to us, our families and friends, to the drinks reception on the mezzanine and to the astounding meal and service in the main room, we received 5 star treatment from this wonderful Hotel and its equally, wonderful staff.

We were overwhelmed with the level of service provided by the staff at the Brehon. Staff were down to earth and friendly and instantly put us at our ease. Our guests were full of praise for the hotel. One guest remarked that she could not imagine ever staying anywhere else in Killarney after her experience at the Brehon. We were very happy with every aspect of our dealings with the hotel. Lead up to our wedding was really stress free, everything we asked for was looked after and there was never a problem with any of our requests. We arrived day before and were able to drop off all the bits and look at the room later in the evening. Heather was just great. Made it very easy for us and she was around day before, on the day and evening which made us feel that all will be ok. ALL our guests complemented on and were very happy with food, speed and quality of service and the fact that wine glass was always full. I was a bit worried about moving party to the bar while room was turned around, but it went so smooth on the day that people hardly noticed. I know it was not easy to get people back to the room (even from the room on the first place) It was just a fantastic experience overall and will be highly recommending the Brehon as a wedding venue.
