Martinstown House, The Curragh, County Kildare

Nestled in the trees next to the garden, The Woodlands at Martinstown House is an enchanting and tranquil place, perfect for couples who want to make their vows in natural surroundings. We rescued the old abandoned glasshouse to create an incredibly unique and beautiful cereamony space. We constructed it using tin found in a neighbour’s field, old telegraph poles, a glorious crystal chandelier and a little imagination. Stretching above is one of Ireland’s few Californian Coastal Redwood trees. There is a built-in PA system with 2 radio mics. Surrounded by nature and birdsong, and protected from the elements, we’ve hosted ceremonies from 14 – 300 guests.

Durhamstown Castle, Bohermeen, Co. Meath

Are you looking for somewhere really different? Durhamstown is certainly that! A seriously old Castle, a great big Barn for feasting & dancing, plus two houses for guest overflow, all opening onto a large restored courtyard. We now even have a ceremony Barn to get married in. Every wedding here is exclusive. Not a marquee or chiavari chair in sight! And it’s only 40 minutes from Dublin, Dublin airport & Ferry port. The words most frequently used by our guests, to describe their time with us  at Durhamstown are; ‘magical’, ‘different’, ‘relaxed’ & ‘amazing food’!
