4 Things You Might Forget to do on Your Wedding Day

Ask the groomsmen to empty their pockets

Believe me, you will see the contents of their pockets in all your photos. Ask the guys to keep their trousers pockets empty for the day.

Get your celebrant to move out the way for your big kiss

Or better yet, ask your photographer to capture this beautiful moment with your guests cheering behind you! Whichever option you choose, you will end up with gorgeous photos of your first kiss as a married couple, without anybody unintentionally photobombing you.

Have somewhere for your suppliers to sit and eat

Create a list of any suppliers who will be with you throughout your wedding day. We’re talking about your wedding planner, DJ and photographer. Make sure you’ve got somewhere for them to sit and something for them to eat. They will be on their feet for most of the day bringing all your wedding plans to life, so keep them comfortable and with full bellies.

Ask someone else to be the point person

On the morning of your wedding, you do not want to be the point person. You won’t want to be reminding your suppliers of the timeline for the day, and you certainly won’t want to be fielding phonecalls from friends and family who are lost and unable to find your venue. Make sure your wedding planner or venue coordinator has a copy of your timeline for the day and a list of all your suppliers, along with their contact details. Give a copy of this to your wedding party too!
