14 Ideas to Throw the Best Outdoor Wedding Ceremony – in Ireland!

Inspiration, Planning & Advice

More and more Irish couples are being brave and choosing to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. By the lake, amidst a woodland retreat or in an immaculate garden, these outdoor spaces have lots of scope for some serious wedding decor but sometimes having such a vast space to can be a little intimidating. Today we’re feeling full of summer spirit and have 14 ideas that you can incorporate into your outdoor ceremony that will delight your guests.

Our one piece of advice however is to have a Plan B! I’ve been at a wedding recently where we all had to dash indoors half way through the ceremony – Ireland, sure is gorgeous but the weather is so unpredictable!

1.Create a beautiful entrance with ribbon.

2.  Choose simple floral displays to let the natural environment shine.

3. Be positive – it is gonna be a bright sun shining day!

4. When the area is this beautiful you really don’t need to do very much to make it any better.

5. Think outside the box if your budget is tight. We love the rustic touch of hay bales.
