From Guest Books to Grooms .. Editor’s Picks February 2nd

Articles

Wedding planning been getting on top of you this week? Don’t worry, our editor, Aoife, has rounded up her top five picks for you in one pretty post!

Finger Print Tree Invitations for Less

5. I love to see weddings that are just that little bit quirky, and this fingerprint tree from Invitations For Less that’s up for grabs on Mrs2Be gets my vote, as it’s pretty different from the wedding guest books we’re used to seeing.

4. This “Love Birds” sign from Tara and Stephen’s brewery wedding is simple and stylish, yet it looks like it could be easily recreated as a DIY project. Oh, and I’m also slightly obsessed with Tara’s wedding hair too!

 3. Wedding planning can be stressful for everyone involved, but it can be even more stressful if you feel like you’re planning everything on your own. The trick is to get your groom involved in planning the areas that he’s actually interested in. This week Emma showed us how to make it fun and get stuff done, with her helpful tips on involving your groom in your wedding planning. I think I might give number 8 a go myself!

2. Maybe it’s because I’m a die-hard romantic at heart, but I love anything bridal with a nod to days gone by. This Agnes Hart headpiece has a real vintage feel to it, without taking away from the chic simplicity of the bride’s short wavy hairstyle. Check out some of our other favourite ways to glam up short bridal hair.

Rick O Shea, Larry Gogan, 2fm, 25 Irish Rides

1.  My number one this week has to go to this image of radio legend Larry Gogan presenting DJ Rick O’Shea with his official certificate of rideyness, after he was voted number 14 in our list of 25 Irish Rides by our brides.
