Pretty Pastel Dreams: Ciara & Keith’s Vintage Real Wedding Video by Luminaire Weddings

Real Weddings

We do adore a great wedding video to give you the warm and fuzzies, and today’s real wedding video from Luminaire Weddings will give you just that!

Ciara and Keith held their 50s style wedding in the Church of St. Peter & Paula, Portlaoise on May 19th, with their reception at the Midlands Park Hotel.

“Keith and I met on our very first day in a new job in Dundalk. We were one of the first two people to arrive so we were instructed to have a cup of tea while we waited for everyone else to arrive. While making the tea I almost poured the entire cup all over Keith! He then proposed four years later in our kitchen while I was still in my PJ’s!” said Ciara.

With the help of wedding blogs, bridal magazines and Pinterest, creative Ciara did a lot of DIY for their day.

The couple were keen to hold their reception close to the church so guests wouldn’t have far to travel. “We went to see many venues in the area but for me it was the wedding coordinators at the Midlands Park Hotel that made me want to book it. They are so professional and experienced, in fact all the staff are so lovely and every time we visited they could not do enough to help!” added Ciara.

Ciara advises all wedding planning couples to trust your suppliers. “You booked them because you love what they do, they are professionals! We just loved Luminaire Weddings style, they put a gorgeous vintage feel on their videos, which matched our 50s feel perfectly! Alec is so unobtrusive but yet didn’t miss a single detail. Many of our guests didn’t even know we had a videographer on the day! The highlight of our day for me was walking down the aisle with my new husband after the ceremony! The Beach Boys ‘God Only Knows’ was playing. It was the first chance I had to properly see all our guests and everyone just looked so happy for us. It was such an amazing rush of emotion,” added Ciara.
