Sharp & Sleek Weddings

Inspiration

Frills, bows, ruffles and flounce all make for a pretty wedding, but if none of these appeal to your personality, we’ve had a look at what you need for a sharp, sleek and very sophisticated affair.

The obvious place to start with your sleek wedding planning is with your colour combination, and you can’t get much sharper than a monochrome palette.

Think minimal when it comes to stationery. Elegant script, clean lines and high quality paper will make your wedding announcement go with a sophisticated bang!

Pastels work really well with a monochrome vision. We love this Chanel inspired table setting with its simple posies of warm toned flowers. You should also keep your cake quite simple, but carefully placed flowers can still add a touch of elegance.

Anemone’s are the ultimate wedding flowers; No fuss and timelessly beautiful.

I do love a chiavari chair! In my opinion they top a ivory draped chair any day! Look around and you will find they can be hired quite easily in Ireland, in a large range of wood finishes and colours.

Acrylic is another way of adding some sleek to your day. It works well with monochrome and also works as a great reflector of light around your room.

Let your cake speak for itself by keeping it simple. I love the thin ribbon detail on this cake, as well as the gorgeous foliage.

We sure do love our cork place settings around here! Add a real personal touch to your day with your own personal collection.

Love this line up! Black bridesmaids’ dresses never fail to impress.

Remember, sharp and sleek doesn’t have to mean boring. There are numerous fun ways to incorporate your theme into your wedding photos – just look at that balloon release!
