Pill question

Is it possible to get preg while on pill and you're still having the "normal" periods? I'm just wondering because the periods while on the pill are not natural, therefore do they still occur if you get preg? (Sorry if it's a dumb question!!)

I think it's possible but not very likely. The period (withdrawal bleed) you get on the pill is due to a drop in hormones during your 7 day break. If you're pregnant while on the pill then your hormone levels remain high, preventing bleeding. But as far as I know, it could happen during pregnancy that those hormone levels aren't naturally high enough so you still bleed.

think the pill is 99% effective so theres always that 1% change and then theres things like vomiting that can stop it working

I've heard (horror) stories about girls getting pregnant while on the pill and not realising for a few months because they still had the regular withdrawal bleed - anythings possible I suppose.
